The figure at the center isn't Jinx. The figure isn't wearing the right shirt, she's missing Jinx's cloud smoke tattoos, and you can see her dark hair under the blue hair reach her back as it falls in front of her arm and behind her shoulder.

While the braids are black and white to imply that is the figure's actual hair, it's sprayed on blue like the rest of the youths in the background, because she is like them. The figure at the center is just another kid in the crowd, and they've essentially been designed like they're wearing a Jinx wig, all the kids are.

The artist for this mural is showing that anyone can be like Jinx as long as you want to fight for Zaun. Jinx represents an ideology that these kids choose to embody in both style and action. They're united in blue in their rebellion.

Designing the color palette for Oracle has been so rough. See Barbara is the first character where I’ve had to actually create my own palette because her canon Oracle design might as well be cargo shorts and a triforce t-shirt. Green is turning out to be a loaded color bc if I go too far in one direction and I’m in little mermaid territory, then I’ll over correct and suddenly I’ve hit brat summer.

still on my spn rewatch, and like. okay. i am not usamerican so i am definitely missing a lot of things here so i haven't mentioned it until now. but there's also something to be said about the class disparity of supernatural. how the hunter life which is both poor and rural is contrasted with the apple pie life which is usually life in the suburbs or the city. and how poverty in rural america is valorized and idealized as somehow more worldly, more knowledgeable, and ultimately more moral than the normal world.

I have to say, one thing I really appreciate about the Kaleesh is how wonderfully androgynous their official art is.

This is a pic of Qymaen jai Sheelal (who would later be known as Grievous) and his soulmate, Ronderu lij Kummar. If Wookieepedia didn't tell you Qymaen favoured his gun and Ronderu her swords, us puny hairless apes probably couldn't tell who was who at first glance. As awesome alien lizard-people who could both totally kick your ass should be! No non-mammal mammaries nonsense going on!

i feel weird when people credit the hito hito no mi model nika for luffy’s good deeds because luffy isnt kind and frees people because of his devil fruit, he’s kind because its who he is &it’s the type of person he’s grown to be. its because luffy has these traits that his devil fruit chose him & he was able to awaken it
