okay so or first date was in spain.. it was teh best of times it was teh worst of tim- I SHOUD STOP QUOTING TALE OF TWO CITIES. so yea we had gone to spain bec he said its your break and im free fro soemtime (he was having hard time commuting back and forth just to sleep w me) and also we were boning as casual fwb- but he starts to get a littel to jelly and posssesive bec we started hanging out w hsi teammates and yk men- well so he gets drunk and we kinda have aconfesison... noww THE THING WAS I DIDNT KNOW IF HE REMEBERED SHIT.. HE LEFT in the mroning fro practce no text no note nothing... just mr dabaddie dropped breakfast. and all i get a text from him in teh evenning "dinner tonite?" and he sent teh location.. NOWWW LIEK A RATIONAL PERSON SEEING HE MITE HAVE FORGETTOEN AND HE WAS AT practice i show up in tracks.. and he shoWs up in tux. its os FNNNTY BEC HE IS SO OUT OF HIS WAY DRESSED UP.. AD IM JUST LIEK.. STADNING THERE IN EMBARAASMENET- and he booked ot a really high end steakhouse fro me.. bec he knows i love foood!!! tehy almost didnt allow me but i had the man w me >.< IT WAS SOO HOT TO SEE HIM TALK TO TEH MANAGER AND THEN VERYBODY JUST APOLOGIZIGDHAHDHAD... iT WAS BFUL .. It's funny how fans struggle so hard trying to reconcile Eowyn's great feat on the battlefield with the fact she disobeyed Theoden's orders in going to war, when you look at the story as a whole and "following orders" is never glorified or held up as a great moral good.

Eomer, Pippin, Faramir, Merry, Gandalf, multiple characters achieve stuff going against the will of the designated authority figure. Sauron's evil comes from his desire to control all. The Shire has to be scoured because it goes from a free place to a land where all is regulated by Saruman and his cronies. Aragorn, the great king, governed the realm in accordance to law, his own powers limited and kept in check.

Eowyn's disobedience, in Tolkien's eyes, I suspect endeared her to him more than all those years of obedience that preceded it.

The Trip — Day 2

It’s tomorrow? The sun is out. We’re still somewhere over the ocean. I fell asleep during one of the crosswords. It seems they’re now trying to make as many words as possible from a set of letters. It’s a bit like Scrabble, but you can use multiples of any letters you’d like.

I heard a few folks mention the resort. Are we all going to the same place? Maybe the island only has one place to stay. Maybe they’re all resorts; it is an island, after all.

It was an island, right? I can’t find my boarding pass in my seatback pocket anymore, and I’m honestly having trouble remembering some of the details I should.

I thought I landed a lucky upgrade with this business class seat, but it looks like every seat on this plane is the same. We all have our own pods, which is nice, but it also makes it impossible to strike up a casual conversation with anyone to see if I can remember anything.

The flight attendants are nice enough. The tea they’ve been serving has been soothing, but it also makes me so tired. Maybe I’ll nap again, but I wish I could figure out where I am.

I guess I dozed off again. I think it’s the same day as before? She tapped me awake and instructed me to put my tray table away. I guess we’re finally arriving soon. It looks like mid afternoon outside. Wish me luck…

I think it’s still the same day? I’m somewhere over the ocean right now. We finally took off.

In-flight wifi isn’t working. We should’ve changed a few time zones by now, but there’s zero reception on my phone, so it’s hard to say what hour it really is where I am.

The flight tracker isn’t working, but at least the in-flight entertainment is free. The stewardess announced that we’ll all be playing crosswords together in a few minutes after our next meal service. A bit odd, but okay. At least it’ll pass the time.
