HS: probably the beta kids before playing sburb. theyre all just little kids and best friends forever and it makes me tear up- in pesterquest dave literally talks about jade like shes his girlfriend that goes to a different school. all the kids were more than eager to see eachother in person and it sucks that it happened under the circumstances of.. homestuck

HS: any of signless' crew. like. we got shafted so hard with the dancestors its crazy. in my wildest dreams psiioniic didnt get utterly crushed by the vast glub and somehow escaped at the ripe age of 2000 sweeps and is now overgrown and too old and ancient for his own good, squatting in solluxs hive. we didnt get much content about how signless did his recruiting- did he just do speeches and demonstrations? did he fuck nasty? i know for sure it wasnt the cringe dialogue they strapped kankri with. same goes for dolorosas life before she raised signless, she should be at the club.

ST: background vulcans. especially in TNG when they just stopped giving a fuck about them, thank god tuvok exists or i wouldve had no incentive at all to actually watch part of VOY.

HS: equius. its really a special day when a character cant be quantified with a simple archetype like the rest of the trolls. theres something so deeply strange and wrong with him that its captivating, i chalk it up to being the horse guy in a insect body.

hussie also just like, had it out for him at day one. gamzee got beaten to a pulp narratively but equius didnt even get a chance. its sad, and im more interested in what he couldve been rather than someone like eridan or meenah.

ST: kai winn. shes literally an alien white woman and its fantastic. she did her role so good that the poor actress got hatemail, and her insidiousness is just so well done. the final season of ds9 isnt that good but it was fun to see her go off the rails with dukat.

horse plinko (character I would torment for fun, for whatever reason)

HS: what do i look like? hussie? in truth when it comes to being a flop i like seeing kanaya flounder. shes weird guys. she is so fucking weird and she doesnt really know because her friends are Weirder. we dont always need her to slay, atleast in my book.

HS: jake. if he has a deeper character i havent noticed because my eyes glaze over trying to read through this dialogue. he feels like a leftover shitpost character hussie couldnt fit on the dancestors. i havent reread act 6 yet, but i remember such a large chunk being some strange love triangle-square surrounding jake and i did Not Give a Fuck, and salt in the wound was dirk and janes friendship being so fantastic but overshadowed by jakes unceasing sex appeal cursing them.

ST: obrien because it was be a standard episode plot for him, i think hed come out fine

nah, im fr convinced that people are ignoring u on purpose. u put so much effort into each graphic and get less than 50 notes per post (minus a few exceptions) and it literally makes NO SENSE bcuz theres nothing not to like about ur stuff. ur graphics are pretty, the stories are 9 times out of 10 AMAZING and u shed light on so many underappreciated writers and make them feel loved… and then people just scroll past ur posts on the tag and even their dashes (i refuse to believe u have less than 100 followers, which means most of them just ignore u willingly). it legit enrages me how little respect this fandom has for small ccs bcuz u are doing something great for us all and deserve much more love, and bcuz its pretty obvious that ur better performing posts are those that are for bigger stories by bigger authors who do deserve all the love, but the littler authors also deserve it and people rarely even give them a chance.

The quarter system should be illegal!! I am somewhat use to it but it does still surprise me how brutal it feels towards the end of our winter and spring quarter :( plus by our last quarter even professors state that they are not really with it! whats WILD is that in my first year i did cry everyday when i first experienced midterms week lol and Sam you're so sweet 😭Youre always so supportive and it makes me smile and want to cry in a good way! and know that im proud of you too! D-CRUNCH is for sure one of the most talented groups out there. All members are brilliant in what they're doing.

I also want to highlight their dance line, which is incredible and I hate that they're being slept on. Like, damn, I can't even describe it?? To avoid any controversies, I'll not compare them to other artists but If they were more famous, DC's dance line would be in the top 10 for sure.

Omgggg it's been ages since I got feedback on Sleeping Beauty!! Thank you so much!! It's definitely not the typical Yuuji fic, and usually, I don't like writing dark things like that, BUT it was a lot of fun to think of a way Yuuji's caring and sweet character could turn into something twisted. I felt so guilty while writing it because it goes against anything I see in Yuuji!! But on the other hand, it was super interesting to take that prompt and find a way to make it work for Yuuji. And so I came up with a version of what could happen if Yuuji got influenced by someone else and tricked into thinking he would do what's best for you. Because the things he does in that fic are still done out of love. A dark version of love, so to speak. I actually think about this story quite often. It fucks with my mind because sometimes I catch myself thinking the same things reader and Yuuji thought: Wouldn't it be nice to have no responsibilities and know that Yuuji will always be there to take care of you? Ahhhhhhhhhh it scares me!!

kibum compilations on youtube are funny blah blah blah but i wish i could gatekeep those... the fact that they get so many views makes me so salty because non stans are so quick to jump on those fun things he says but when it's time to support his music its crickets. i wish that could change, i wish things could be the opposite at this point.

i said it before but i love tragedy. and Damien rlly embodies this so hard as someone so completely set out to fail- and so he did. we have this young boy with an incredibly powerful ability who 1.) cant get help from his parents 2.) doesn't have the resources to contact any organization who could help him control his abilities 3.) even if he did, chances are he would be taken in an used for experiments until the day he dies with little concern to his wellbeing. literally his only option is being self taught and- considering that his reality is literally distorted his ability, and his only other example to live a moral life is fucking books, it's a wonder he managed to come out as well as he did, and i say that acknowledging that he committed murder when he was 19. now enter: everyone giving him shit for using his ability when it's the one thing in his life he can rely on. now, i personally think Damien can learn to really control his ability, but just seeing him play the loneliest game of poker with the shit hand he's been dealt, it's delightful to see him spiral. muah. chef's kiss.

that Lauren Shippen ended his arc right when it seemed like his character had finally reached a turning point comparable to when his parent's abandoned him. i cannot stress how much Damien and Chloe's final conversation filled my with so much hope. we see Damien do something idk if he's ever done in his life before: tell himself no for the betterment of another. he's so close to giving into his desire to see Mark, literally driving back to the city, yet seeing Chloe -a victim of him alone, not his ability(because it doesn't fucking work on her), him!- shames him and steers him back onto the path to good. it's such a wonderful moment and leads to all these great possibilities for his characters and.....that's it folks? i try not to rag on Shippen too hard but this really boils milk yknow

favorite thing about them: he’s just...so complex. they could’ve easily made him into some sort of spongebob clone with little substance and make him unlikable, or make him like the og cartoon’s sam where he’s persistent and doesn’t care to listen to guy’s pleads to leave him alone. instead he’s surprisingly reserved, yet still peppy and excitable, more than ready to share his adventure with guy. he sees the good in just about everyone and offers them hope when they once felt lost without it. i think it’s both sad and beautiful that guy was the person that truly stuck around for sam when everyone else got tired of him, or couldn’t trust him anymore, or didn’t like him for who he really was. the fact that guy is the only person to have ever found out about sam’s past kinda wrecks me apart lol. i also like how sam’s a giddy adult and has a cheerful outlook, hoping for a connection to click despite how many times it hadn’t worked in the past, but he also has his rare, down moments where he questions “what the yip am i doing” and u can really see him struggle coming to terms to the fact that his actions have consequences, unlike all the other times before where things ended off lukewarm between the person and sam (while still holding a feeling of loneliness and the constant need to change for approval that’s altered him entirely). he doesn’t do bad things because he wants to, he does it becus it’s the only viable option he’s got. he’s always on the move, desperate for attention yet all the while avoiding it. it fucks me up

least favorite thing about them: like before, he only did his schemes out of necessity, and i doubt he expected things to go the way they did with him and guy (and the girls, especially), so i don’t think he ever meant real harm--yet i feel his forgiveness (or lack there of) is returned too quickly, and he got off too scotfree. perhaps they didn’t know how to add in the idea of sam doing community service (which is conceptually fucking hilarious but i understand it feeling out of left field). still, i wish they worked in the probability of sam apologizing and trying to prove his past acts were hurtful and wrong, etc. also his dumb “gatekeeper” nonsense is lame i hate it, but ig it adds onto his lowkey skeevy nature that involves his tendency to steal guy’s money idk idk

brOTP: his bond with eb is Good and underappreciated. i really adore his bond with her that had both of them see a different outlook on things (sam telling eb that michellee does care for her, and eb changes sam’s mind into doing the right thing for mr jenkins). she’s important to his change of perception as well, i feel; while guy was the person sam realizes he yipped up badly, eb is the person he knows he can’t let down--but he does anyway, and that moment where she hears sam call her dumb and silly for ever trusting and she later cries in solitude..(which were lies he had to tell snerz but she doesn’t know that...:( ) i also kinda wish they had a moment to talk and apologize but again that ending was just a tiny bit flimsy with their eagerness to have sam be forgiven

random headcanon: i say it all the time but sam being a year older than guy is funny as all hell to me, and while i dont think they’ll roll with it (they seem ambiguous with the ages in the show besides eb’s “ya know i’m 10, right” statement, but other than that sam n guy are Adults), it would be a nice change from the usual formula of the “childish adult being younger than anyone else”. also the idea of sam participating in arts and crafts becus of his “forced-onto-independency”, and his need to keep himself interested in smth so he doesn’t fall into this daily routine of eerie loneliness and nothing to do, is really neat to imagine..

oh i totally get it and it must be demotivating to gif/it only takes more out of your time ! personally i’ve dropped the show around ep4/5 because i don't want it to ruin my experience and i really did love the first season a LOT and i want to be able to keep it in my heart. i have so many issues with it aside from the camerawork, etc, the writing is just nowhere as robust. like idk how people are finding jaehak buttering up to junwan for the 123354084950th time endearing theyre repeating it into oblivion/there has been so much repetitiveness. it makes the characters fall from my eyes and it’s sad cause i actually used to really like jaehak? he had a lot of substantial patient interactions (like the strawberries scene/the patient that he had to pretty much beg to live) and his whole being a ‘late bloomer’ thing was quite reassuring in s1 but now he’s reduced to junwan’s fanboy. or songhwa’s off-key singing. or food monster duo with interventionist ikjun. or songhwa laughing at ikjun's lame jokes. or jeongwon’s pettiness (honestly don’t even get me started on how dirty they’ve done this character and how much they’ve watered him down for being so core to the the message of the 1st season but i don’t want to leave another essay in your asks:,). it’s become a formula like just throw one of these 'character quirks' in each episode and it’ll work!

as a song hwa/ik jun fan going into s2, i was really so excited when they started hinting more at the set up of their relationship but then i think for 2-3 consecutive eps, i noticed they just kept using the same ONE thing to establish that - how song hwa is the *only* person to find ik jun’s lame jokes funny. and i think for 2 of those times jeong won made the exact same comment about it too. sun bin also mentions a few times about how ik jun’s the only one to make song hwa laugh etc. etc. i mean yes that’s true, but there are plenty of other reasons why they’re perfect for each other, so let’s see them!!
