3. What fandoms do you write for?

I started my writing days in Overwatch and most of my fics are from that era, but most recently, I've written for Star Wars, Baldur's Gate 3 and Arcane.

4. What are your top five fics by kudos?

A New Era - First Jayvik fic I wrote, and somehow it's at the top of the jayvik ao3 tag by kudos even though it's mindrot I wrote between episode breaks. Sorry long form jayvik writers ;;

Lost Time - life-affirming jayvik sex after the s1 finale. I'm just now realizing that all my top kudos fics are jayvik LMAO

Opposites - jayvik fic where someone talks up Viktor at a party and Jayce gets jealous.

Arcane Ficlets - my randomly assorted Arcane stuff I wrote via tumblr asks. All jayvik too 😂

Warm Heart - Viktor has cold hands but Jayce knows just how to warm him up.

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

I try to! But sometimes it takes me months to get back to people. Once the inbox number ticks up I get a little nervous ;; which only makes the problem worse!

6. What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

I tend not to write anything that ends too angsty. I have one or two that have a sort of bad-end vibe. Usually I'll write an angsty ending then delete and rewrite. LOL

Maybe this silco/viktor fic: Back Down? Since Viktor knows he shouldn't be messing around with Silco but he's so drawn to him.

Runner up: one of my ramyatta fics Stargazing because it shows the difference between their past relationship and the present at the end, where they are no longer together. t _ t

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Probably Encore, since I wrote it because Outer Wilds canon endings beat me up so badly. LOL

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Very rarely!

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Almost always. Any kind, basically. LOL I love pining and unestablished relationship like crazy, and both characters just falling into sex with each other. Blow jobs, possessiveness, breeding kinks, ritualistic sex, size difference, voyeurism, smell stuff, sex pollen, outfits... a VERY wide range. 😂

10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?

I almost never write them. I think I have written a few fics that just takes characters and puts them into another game's setting, but that's about it.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not that I know of?

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

Yes! Most I had one of my ramyatta fics translated into chinese. I've also had my only symbrock fic made into a podfic.

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Not really. I've done a fic with bluedaddysgirl that was Thrawn/Cad Bane, but mostly I collaborate with artists to do illustrations of my work. I did some RPing back in the day, but none of that's going to see the light of day LOL

14. What's your all-time favorite ship?

Probably genyatta? But honestly, I have so so many. Obimaul also has a special place in my heart.

15. What's the WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

My last year's nanofic. It was an AU where Bo-Katan never saved Obi-Wan from Mandalore, so he remained Maul's prisoner. It was going to be a what if where Maul realizes he doesn't know what to do with Obi-Wan now that he's finally exacted his revenge, and they would slowly fall in love while doing powerplays the whole time. LOL It was a bit weird because I had to write it so fast, so a lot of the fic was just Savage and Obi-Wan interacting, so it almost made it seem as if they would be the better pairing TBH. It just needs so much reworking and IDK if I have the power. It probably just needs an entire re-write.

16. What are your writing strengths?

I feel I'm very good at condensing ideas into short word counts. I also think my sex scene writing, specifically my dirty talk, is pretty good! That's one of those things that I can't stand to read if it's bad in fanfic, so I try to make what they say as in character as I can. 😳

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Writing anything longer holy shit. I'm really terrible at it because as soon as I have to deal with pacing it's a death sentence for my motivation. 💀💀💀

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

It can be done well? But only if you are a fluent speaker. I personally don't do it because I'm an idiot who only knows one language, and I don't want to mess up the mood of writing by accidentally making an embarrassing gaff in another language.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

In my life? Probably Kingdom Hearts. On my ao3 account: Dragon Age: Inquisition.

20. Favorite fic you've ever written?

Definitely Polite Company, my Obimaul reverse AU fic. It's the longest thing I've ever written and posted. SUCH a comfort fic to me, and it was a blast to work on. There's just something so fun about writing Jedi Maul that I still can't get over it. The ideas kept coming for that fic which almost never happens for me, and somehow it was fairly well received, which I'm just so ridiculously grateful for. I'm always surprised at how much Obimaul isn't a main pairing for Obi-Wan when they have such ridiculous chemistry. Not even 600 fics on all of ao3 for them💀💀💀 A crime!!

me having viktor/silco ideas first thing in the morning and making myself write out just this short scene from this larger idea/au i’ve had that now is already continuing on and this can’t become a full fic i don’t write big long fics because i’m not good at them and can’t keep the motivationnn. unless i construct it like those house or mozart das musical fics i wrote where there’s a bunch of fics in a series, some having multiple chapters and anywhere between 1-10k words per part, that take part in the same overall universe but that way i don’t have to write things chronologically, i can just write which bits i have ideas for... that’s actually not a bad idea

okay so who wants act 1 viktor x silco? i blame a post i saw suggesting it and they’re right most vilco fics are either alt viktor who never left zaun in the first place, never went to the academy, or act 2/act 3 viktor who’s fallen out with jayce/left jayce, been approached by silco, met silco when trying to find singed... but the idea of act 1 viktor (i have such a soft spot for him only because he gets drawn so rarely compared to act 3 which understand but he’s a cutie with that short hair okay) getting approached by silco who see’s this potential and thinks to recruit viktor as a sort of informant/spy before viktor ever meets jayce and the dean’s assitant becoming rising crime boss silco’s little pet and the undercity knows and keeps it’s mouth shut and it in return all of viktor’s research gets funded? if in return viktor seems to be able to get whatever meds he needs? if jayce wonders where viktor disappears to sometimes? if viktor ends up finding himself fantasizing that one time when silco would make a surprise visit to the lab to check viktor is on track with everything that he’d just push viktor against the desk and have his way with him? if silco does end up seducing viktor and telling himself it’s just to keep viktor loyal and because viktor is pretty but ends up getting too attatched to his little scientist??

The doctor frowns, dragging long fingers through the shorter man's dark hair. "It's for the best."

There's a groan below him, a face burying further into the crook of his neck, legs curling tightly on Singed's lap. "I don't need glasses."

The taller man sighs. "I was only implying it may be good to get them checked."

There's a huff against his neck. "I'm not old."

"I didn't say that." Fingers trail against the scalp, crawling towards the back of his partner's neck. "And besides, Silco, if I was implying you were old, I would be doing the same to myself."

That earns a slight pull back, The Eye of Zaun shifting in his arms to stare at him. "You know, you've never told me your exact age."

Singed hums, keeping an arm around the other man's waist, a physical connection while he pulls out his phone with his free hand. "And you're only attempting to ask now to try to distract me from setting up your optometrist appointment."

He's met with the stubborn silence of truth, and Silco working his tongue against his cheek. After a minute, nothing is said besides a heavy sigh from the man, before he resumes the position of snuggling his husband, pressing his face against his throat. "I don't want to go. They always ask about the eye."

"It will be fine." The hand moves up from the waist, to caress his back. "I'll make sure they know about it already."

A pause and Silco's fingers dig into his shoulders. "What if they give me a monocule?"

Singed doesn't miss a beat, eyes on his phone still as he looks up the email address to make the appointment. "You'll be called the Monopoly man instead of the Eye of Zaun for a few days until everyone gets used to it."

That earns a nip against his neck, that has Singed smiling again before clearing his throat. "Orianna said she wants to take you. Test out her driving skills and have lunch with her favorite step-parent."

"Bringing up the children? An evil tactic." There's a smile against the skin, before another kiss. "I'm almost proud."

A hum. "Your negotiation skills were bound to rub off."

" I think I can give you a good demonstration of how well I can negotiate, lovely. If you want to practice."

Singed doesn't even blink at the obvious offer. "I already had a demonstration in mind."

That gets an elegant eyebrow raise. "Oh?"

"I sleep here in the lab until you go." The other man stiffens in his arms. "You're welcome to join me. Though I think I'm getting another specimen shipment-"

"I'll go."

That earns a smile and a brush of lips to Silco's forehead. "Thank you."

There's another nip to his neck, that quickly becomes a few more, fingers moving from shoulders down to the folds of his jacket and pushing the fabric back. Silco is apparently determined to show him that neither of them were old.

Singed would allow him, at least until after the optometrist appointment. Then he'd let Silco know they were both old, but just to make the most out of it. Life was meant to be lived, no matter what age they were.

But for now, as lips trail over his skin, he'll enjoy Silco's attempt at retaining their youth.

I have been thinking about doing audios, but I do not know where I would even begin. Do you have any advice for people who are considering starting their own audio channel?

someone else asked this earlier today but in the middle of a request ask so i didn't want to answer it and lose the request so hey@viktor-silco-jinx . i'm amazed that any wants to come to me for advice, and i really wish i could give you some but uh... i've only been doing this for less than 2 months. i suppose what helped is that i've been listening to other people's audios for years and years, my main inspirations being@tomhiddlestonsoundalike and @kinkradio (the later of which i've been fortunate enough to be able to support on patreon on and off over the years).

i suppose i haven't found it at all very complicated just because i've been lucky in skills and things i already had access too. definitly have a decent microphone, i use a blue yeti which i chose from seeing some asmr youtubers use. for editing, i already have an above creative cloud subscription because of my actual main job so i use after effects and premiere (because i'm awkward and extra and use after effects to have the little audio wave in my videos) but you don't need a fancy program, just any basic video editing software - that's if you want to upload your audios as videos. for recording i just use audacity which is free. i've only used adobe audition to do the more complex effects on my springtrap voice.

i suppose that's not really advice though rather than like a tutorial. i really don't know what to say. i didn't have anyone give me advice, i didn't have any help. i just guessed everything i did and hoped it worked out. the only things that got my videos/audios noticed is literally just knowing what hashtags to use when i post. a lot of people don't know audios are a thing so i use 'viktor x reader' fanfic tags, i picked a character from a series that is new and popular at the moment. yes i already had about 600 followers on here before i'd started making audios, but i didn't have any on youtube and idk how i got views there. i just posted things and i guess some people were looking for viktor arcane asmr.

i guess all i can think of to say in terms of things that might help your audios get noticed is using tags wisely and if you want to do fandom characters then try and do ones from new media that's 'relevant' at the moment, if you just want to post original n-sfw audios then i'd reccomend posting them to r/gonewildaudio r/gonewildaudiogay r/gonewideaudiotrans (posting on there changed my soundgasm play count from the hundereds to the thousands). i've heard some youtubers say having a sheduele helps, like i post bi-weekly on the same days every week at the same time so people idk get used to it or add it to their routine.

unlike most audio creators (those that do youtube / character roleplays), i don't script my audios. so i don't have the added time of writing. and i'm only able to improv probably because i have been writing fanfic for years and idk i always wrote when i was young and daydream... way... too much so me improving these audios is just the same as when i daydream and say things out loud. so i don't know how to give advice in that area.

i don't know if any of this is helpful. all i did was post my audios the same as i've always posted anything else, photos and writing and art and whatever, to social media. and because people were looking at the tags i used people noticed them. opening up for requests also helped i guess because then people were sending more asks and comments and engaging with the posts in the hopes i'd fulfill their requests.

i feel like non of this was helpful. i've been a little dreading someone asking me this because honestly i don't know. i just posted things and people say them. there wasn't any special trick.

i'd been trying to make audios for 3+ years when i finally posted my first viktor audio at the end of december. i bought my microphone in 2018 for this purpose. even recorded a couple audios. and then it just sat there. and i never posted the audios. (and also had the oh i'm trans thing and was in my final year of uni at the time and just life stress) but then i wrote a jaskier script and tried to record it in january 2020 and wrote more scripts at the time. but i kept getting interrupted when i recorded and i hated my voice so much i just.. i couldn't do it. the thing that made me go fuck it and record the viktor audio was 1. thinking about viktor way too much and relating to him 2. my income just suddenly dropped by a lot and i was freaking out so much and stressed all the time and thought well fuck it i've been trying to make an audio channel for years and if i can get any money out of anything else i really need to try. the reason why i wanted to make audios was in the hopes i'd find it fun and in the hopes that hey maybe others will get comfort out of these because there aren't many that are trans oriented, but what finally kicked me up the arse and made me get over my fear was a personal mini finical crisis. and i'm just very lucky that so far it's been working out. and i'm incredibly grateful.

you mentioned in some of your tags that you don’t know what the fanon/general fandom opinions were. from what I’ve seen (I’m also a new fan) vi/caitlyn is pretty big (my guess would be because of how blatant it is), however, with...idk how to put this? average LOL fans think it was rushed and don’t like it. tumblr, of course, is into it tho. jayce/viktor is also huge. a lot of people seem to resonate with jinx and silco’s familial relationships. I’ve also seen a lot of people in the fandom not recognize the ableism in Viktor’s arc, which is worrying. if you don’t care to spoil yourself on where these character’s arcs will go in future seasons, I suggest you look up the LOL lore of: vi, ekko, viktor, and jayce. some are just...a slap to the face. anyways, have a good day/evening.

i dont blame the average LOL fans- a sentence i never thought i'd say skpgjsp - bc i can deffo see a lot of the places where it was like..eh. yknow. i said it myself. it feels a little undercooked in some places, and seemed more paced to keep it fast and snappy. like they kinda like they really could have spent more time on a lot of things- and so i presume tht'd be rllly frustrating if u were deeper into the pre-existing lore.

then regarding these little guys.... yeh i think i heard abt vi/caitlyn bein p big. :3 i still stnd by not rlly giving a damn (HELP, thats said with love i prommy)- but you kno nonetheless im happy tht ppl are enjoying a wlw relationship..... like its good they arent being sidelined by ppl. even if im not into tht scene i'll just nod from a distance.

BUT, THOUGH DO YOU KNOW WHATS SO, SO FUNNY? like ok. viktor and jayce obviously, like, occurred to me- but i also just kinda. kept pushing it to the back of my head? does that make any sense? like- jesus like.
