Step five: have fun and go sleep. (Kris would NOT be sharing everyone else has to sleep somewhere else)

That was the plan!!

It had started of so well. Kris had entered the room and Susie and Berdly, well did what They always did. Argue. It was friendly though!! They always do that it was normal. Noelle suggested truth or dare (a classic) and it was going well!! Bonding!! With friends!!! Kris had missed this. They had missed having so many people in their life, shouting amd screaming, having fun until they were too loud and Toriel had come into their room and remind them to be a little quieter. They had missed laughing and being "sneaky", talking about the most random things and playing little games. They had missed the noise and the warmth of the ones close to you just simply being there. Kris had finally resolved everything with Noelle Berdly and Susie. Until they just made that shit go crashing down.

One thing had led to another. Berdly truthed susie to tell something. Susie got defensive. Things got heated. They both lashed out. Noelle tried to diffuse the situation. Berdly said something. Noelle got pissed. Berdly said something. It struck a nerve. Kris saw red.

The whole room had stared at Kris in shock. Kris's eyes widened. No. No. They didn't mean that they didn't mean tha- Berdly rushed out. Eyes suspiciously shiny. There were only three of them left. Kris, Noelle and Susie. All of them could only stare dumbly at eachother. Shit SHIT. Kris CAN'T go back to before they CAN'T they CAN'T. Panic rose. Kris had just made up with Berdly and they immediately ruined it. Kris went after Berdly, determined to make things right again.

Except ...

Kris stood at the doorway, frozen. How do they do this? Their breathing got funny. WWAD What would Asriel do? He was good at this sort of thing wasn't he? But.. Asriel wasn't there. Only an idiot human and a crying bird on the footsteps. Kris thought about what to say. I'm sorry. I didn't mean it .you're my friend. I love you. Kris flushed no they could NOT say that don't be an idiot. No they had to say what they were sorry about right? Like uh: Im sorry i-

"are you just gonna stand there"

Kris flinched. Berdly sighed and continued looking away form Kris.

"I'm sorry" Kris could only say.

Berdly ignored them. Kris sat down on the steps next to Berdly.

"I didn't mean it" Kris looked down, avoiding eye contact.

"It's not true"

There was a silence.

"But what if it is" Berdly's voice cracked. Kris looked up in shock.

"What if I am" Berdly burried his face in his wings

" I AM a forgettable little bluebird and when I die no one will care because I have done nothing in life and I'm not exceptional at all and I was so mean and I -"

"No."

"What do you mean no?"

"Berdly I was being a dumb shit who got mad and took things too far you ARE NOT foegettable you ARE exceptional and if you died I would be really sad and track down your murderer and kill them and you're my friend and i love yo-" shit shit shit shit.

Berdly faced Kris.

"What"

Berdly laughed. Kris could not help but grin a little at the sight. Suddenly they stiffened the birb hugged them tightly.

I’m sad because even though I may have a verse based off the new movie, I don’t know if it’d be okay for me to have Sarah as an alternate because... well okay would it be bad, because I don’t think it’d be the same daphne... obviously her being a woc would affect the storyline and characterization (I should hope) but idk... idk, Sarah is so gorgeous, but I wouldn’t wanna do anything to offend or hurt someone.

02. DNA: so…right off the bat, of course, I loved it. 

With time I’ve learned to literally not expect anything of BTS but also expecting it all they’re incredibly unpredictable when it comes to new sounds/experimenting so when I heard the whistling/guitar stream from the teasers I was like ?? uh ok ?  but idk I didn’t think about how that could go on (I was more immersed in visuals with teasers and bighit usually teases us by playing something completely differentso I really didn’t think about music then) NOW, AS I’VE SAID BEFORE, DNA IS SERENDIPITY’S HIGH ON LSD OLDER SISTER. how can you make two songs about the same theme (universe, destiny, love) but to make them sound completely different? And have a TOTALLY DIFFERENT VIBE? MAKE YOU FEEL SUCH DIFFERENT THINGS BUT AT THE END COMUNICATING THE SAME MESSAGE? Pure love and trusting destiny that you’re meant to be together. Bangtan did that.

Now, with that unpredictable thing I was talking about: I did NOT expect such a bubbly song. SUCH A POP SONG. Like for real they always do that, they go against the tide? Kinda? I’m so far up their ass but really I was expecting something different? Idk more serious? But they said “nah listen we got you fam this is gonna be a pop song you’re gonna love” and they delivered just that and now I’m gonna wait for groups to follow this trend – back to super pop songs please

Favorite parts: (I’m a little biased about this bc of the visuals in the mv but it comes as a whole package how can I not be biased?)

TAE STARTED THE SONG WITH HIS LOW AND DRIPPING HONEY VOICE AND THEN HERE HE COMES HOBI WITH HIS SHARP AND MUCH HIGHER RAP AND I’M LIVING FOR THE CONTRAST

Harmonies – as always in bts’ songs on point – and I’m talking about those reaaaaaally deep back up harmonies you really don’t catch the first couple of times you listen to the song but they’re there and trust me it makes the difference from an okay song to a bts song

The (dubstep kinda) drop took me back to the first time I heard I NEED U and I fell in love with the contrast back then and I still love contrasts like that ;;;;;;;;;;

When spring day came out in february I kept repeating yoongi’s part in the second verse over and over and HE’S DONE IT AGAIN “I want it this love, I want it real love” that’s all I hear when I’m alone with my thoughts.

I absolutely love the bridge :’) vocal line :’) jin and the boys :’)

Of course, and if this isn’t one of your favorite parts we can’t be friends: Hoseok’s ending bit LA LA LA LA LA I love him and deserved spotlights

03. Best of Me: okay honestly I was prepared to not like this song. I was ready to be :/ about it…. We know why chainsmokers But I was soooooo happy with the beat drop in the chorus it’s just… so pretty? So sweet? Boys I knew you were soft but not like this. And after reading the lyrics I just absolutely love it (actually, thinking about it, I would have expected the title track to be THIS kind of sound and theme instead of DNA lmao) 

I think the chorus might get repetitive towards the end of the song but the rap keeps it balanced so as always I’m thankful for rap line. Did I mention the lyrics are literally poetry? Okay, they are.

04. Dimples:  this is exactly what I wanted when they announced the album was gonna be based in youth and love? A silly love song. THIS IS WHAT I WAS HERE FOR. Silly love songs about the silliest things…….. I’m a lil bitch but I would have wanted rap line in this :( but okay vocal line was literally perfect AND AT THIS POINT IN THE ALBUM I ALWAYS REALIZE TAEHYUNG HAS GOTTEN SO MANY PARTS IN SONGS AND IM  A L I V E like I really think he’s pretty balanced with Jimin’s parts? and that’s amazing.

05. Pied piper: this was the first song that made me completely lost it because of how good it was I was jumping up and down my bed at 6am like ?????? bts getting me turnt at 6 am???? and as it progresses you hear this talk box sound in the background??? (fun fact: one of my favorite bands back in highschool was Chromeo and that talkbox was their trademark and it just took me back to good old Chromeo songs) and the talkbox gets stronger and stronger and I just LOVE IT

I want to think Yoongi had to do with the talkbox but idk he played it in one of those puma adds last year lol I’d think he knows what those are and wanted to experiment a little bit (i don’t know who was more involved in songs this time so idkidkdikd) 

Interlude – before yoongi’s rap starts he dares whispering his name. im okay

Now, without lyrics this song was great but when I read the lyrics I McFucking Lost it. How could they do this? How dare they come to my house and talk like this to me????? in my face???? In my own house???? God they’re so right tho???? And now the talk box and the little chants fucking make so much more sense is indeed like the rhythm is taking over the song / taking over me lmao 

I might be weird but… going back to suga whispering his name… I’m pretty sure they made their parts a little bit sexy on purpose? like to allure us and shit or is it just me? suga + hoseok in the second verse (also tae) sound so sexy? idek if it’s ME LOSING IT but uh  yeah 

06. MIC Drop: I remember when I heard this my first thought was like HOLY SHIT ROCK? bc of the little bit of electric guitar they had going on but then it went to their usual hiphop style anyways HOLY SHIT THIS SONG IS BOMB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! idk what else to say really it’s everything I expected of this song

07.고민보다 Go: this is my jam. Period. There’s no more to say. My jam without lyrics MY JAM WITH LYRICS. I’m a poor sad child and this is my song for when I go out eating and spend the money I need for other shit in only food

08. Outro: Her: This song is so pure? I suck at words but they as always said the most honest thing they could have said? I really cried with Yoongi’s verse :( I love him so much I want him to be happy that’s it woah I’m getting carried away. OKAY I remember the first time I heard it without lyrics or anything I thought it reminded me of their older style like… Skool Luv Affair more specific? It really reminds me of that era – AND NAMJOON SAID IT HIMSELF IN THEIR VLIVE is more like their old rap style  :’)

downs: in general I think they could have done with a little bit less autotune in some parts (in dna and pied piper and i guess other songs but I can’t remember) but idk anything about music so it might have had a very different result without the autotune ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
