the character must explain why they may be TA. obviously, most people think they're in the right when they do things. however, like the real AITA forum, both sides must be described in detail, and your character must make it clear why they may (or may not) be "the asshole".

title your submissions. the title should be a very quick, one sentence summary of what the character's seeking judgement on in the format of "AITA for [xyz]".

keep it relevant. like real life, it's a given that some context is going to be needed before any judgement can be made, but that context should only be relevant to the conflict being described. it should not be the entire plot of XYZ media.

not a hard rule but try to avoid naming names, we think it'll be more fun if we have to guess who it's about

you can write about ocs also

 You face-palmed yourself; this was all your fault, and now you might bring down your group’s reputation. You felt terrible but relieved that you wouldn’t have to hide your relationship anymore.

 The last thing Yeonjun's manager told him was that the company was going to confirm the relationship and to prepare for the media's backlash. You knew you were in for a long one.

Triple Frontier Write-A-Thon

Hello everyone! March 13th of this year is the 5 year anniversary of Triple Frontier, a movie that was underrated but very precious to all of us. To me, it is a comfort movie and something that through fics and fandom has helped me process a lot of things. 

Charlie Hunnam announced recently that there is potential for a sequel and he is trying to get it in production and has signed on as a producer. Me and @for-a-longlongtime want to both drum up a little noise and celebrate this media we all love so much!

How it works

Write a fanfiction of Triple Frontier, following the content rules listed below. This is for both art and fanfiction. We encourage you to utilize twitter or instagram if you’d like to share either, and #triplefrontier or #triplefrontier2019 on any site you post on. If you don’t want to make art or write, we encourage you to use social media platforms with the hashtags to help make some noise.

We are highly encouraging LGBT themes and for you to think outside of x f!reader. 

All fics that fall under the rules are encouraged, so if you write Santiago Garcia x afab!f!reader, that’s great! But we’d like to take this time to encourage gay/bi pairings, trans readers, or even trans interpretations of the boys. Branch out!

When you post, tag @triplefrontier-anniversary on tumblr and we will reblog it there. We also may reblog onto our main, so consider tagging one or both of us so we know what’s up! Please follow that page to see what other people are writing! In the tags, please tag it triple frontier write a thon, just to make everything easily found.

This is not a dark event, sorry! Some of us enjoy dark content but wanted to keep this particular event mostly non-dark. you eagerly stood right next to rin, clearly excited despite having to wait in a very long line that stretched out the shop’s entrance.

what surprised you was rin’s willingness to wait right by your side at the new boba tea place that just opened up. he knew that the wait would take forever yet he didn’t complain at all and he didn’t tell you that you should just order it straight to your place. instead, he patiently waited with you with his hand firmly holding yours.

when you two finally reached the counter, you picked out your order and took out your wallet to pay. but before you could do that, rin immediately stopped you. you were ready to bicker with him about that, assuming he would insist on paying for you like he always does. instead, to your surprise, he spoke directly to the cashier.

rin has always followed quite a strict and disciplined health regime and his diet was definitely a big part of it. so it was quite a shock to see him order the sweetest combination of flavors you ever heard off the menu, in the biggest size as well.

by the time your drinks were ready, you had to resist the urge to take a million photos of your tall broody boyfriend sipping from his extra-large cup of fruity boba tea. it was truly an amazing sight and you wanted to capture this moment forever.

rin put down his overly sweet tea to scowl at you.

“why are you looking at me like that?”

realizing you’ve been caught staring, you gave him a seemingly innocent smile.

“looking at you like what?” you chuckled when he furrowed his eyebrows at you suspiciously. you took another glance at his already half-full cup. “just didn’t think you’d get that sorta drink, especially something so sweet… and pink.”

Whether Frankie Fridays rock your world, you're a Benny kinda-person, you've got a thing for Santi, or are counting everything all the time just like Will - there are so many of us.

Charlie Hunnam announced recently that there is potential for a sequel; he is trying to get it in production and has signed on as a producer. Do we want this? HELL. YEAH. Let's be real, we've probably all thought about how that would go. So @romanarose and I wanted to drum up a little extra excitement all over the place and spread some love for this movie that many of us have watched so many times! (Probably every week. I have no shame admitting this.)

Here's what's happening

It's super simple: create a fanfic of Triple Frontier, any way you like and with any characters you want. Most people will be inclined to write a story, but we always greatly welcome other artistic interpretations. We've listed some content rules below just to make sure it's fun and accessible for everybody, so please check it out. This is for both art and fanfiction. We encourage you to utilize Twitter or Instagram if you’d like to share either, and #triplefrontier or #triplefrontier2019 on any site you post on! Even if you don't plan to participate, please feel free to share this (or other) posts.

I'm not being funny about this, I've been trying to be nice and quiet about antiblackness and blogs actively proposing alt-right talking points in this fandom by not saying things about it. But this is a pattern of larger blogs agreeing in secret with smaller racist ranters.

Whenever you see a virulently hateful response to a small black blog or what seems to be an antiblack rant, please I BEG of you all to check the comments and likes of said commentary. You will be surprised to see how many large blogs not only agree with the antiblack sentiment they're spreading but also are encouraging them to continue this sort of behavior.

We have blogs that are far larger than the blogs they're attacking, in the comments calling these black blogs "antiwhite" and "reverse racists", but nobody checks the comments. They know to hide their more controversial rhetoric in comments and likes. These smaller blogs who wanted approval from them then walk away from these large blogs and call these smaller blogs SLURS.

Post 499 of "The reason I don't follow black people, is because they block me" has blogs agreeing with them but never have been taken to task because they're hoping you genuinely don't check the comments or likes.

If you really truly care, I need you to start remembering names. It isn't even a difficult equation, no more than 1+1. It's blatant and clear once you start reading and using critical thought to find context and start questioning the motives behind vague posts against black blogs. These antiblack blogs aren't even smart enough to use alts, they're brazen with this sort of thing.

Antiblack users are begging and praying every night that you don't check for context or read comments when they drag smaller black blogs. They know better not to say this on their own blogs or reblog, they wait until they can comment and agree in silence, it's what they do.

They think you don't read, please prove them wrong.

These larger blogs that are creating hit lists of black blogs are literally testing your intelligence and ability to check their rhetoric, please.

Gonna rant about Larsdunn for a second because I Feel Like It.

Outside of the pairing: even without the little gay context we hrpfers lay over everything, these guys are really good for each other. Their play compliments each other, and so do their personalities. Vince is hotheaded and passionate, and Adam is more even-keeled and composed. They balance each other out. Adam keeps Vince calm, and Vince encourages Adam to play a little on the edge, a little more aggressively than he might normally. Also, outside of even hockey, they're good friends. They eat dinner together. They spend time together. They sit on the plane next to each other (and on the bus, and the locker room, and--). They just LIKE to spend time with each other. If they were just teammates, or even just friends because they're line partners, I don't think they'd be putting in that much effort. They like Being In Each Other's Space.

Okay, for the Pairing: they're disgustingly in love. They're codependent. One of my favorite tags for them is "no one ships dunnernlars like dunn and lars" because it is. So. True. They talk about each other endlessly in interviews. They're always involved in each other's business on the ice (penalties and fights and such). They have Homoerotic Cellies anytime either of them scores and the other is present. Vince cooks for Adam. Vince knows way too much about his food likes and dislikes and also how he does his hair. Adam can go on long monologues about how proud he is of Vince's progress. He can also talk uninterrupted about how good of a person he thinks Vince is. THEY CREATED THEIR OWN SHIP NAME (seems to be a trend on this team. i'm looking at you, dumomoto). Vince shoots pucks at Adam's skates in practice to get his attention like he's a puppy. Adam gets mopey and sad about "missing his partner" when Vince is gone for LITERALLY, like, a week. God forbid either of these two actually get separated. They will probably combust.

Anyway, I just had some Feelings and I needed to get them out, so naturally a long Tumblr rant was good. I would love to hear other people rant about these two idiots, as they are currently at the forefront of my mind right now. If anyone wants to talk about them, please by all means reblog/ask/send a message/comment/whatever. One of the best parts of being obsessed with these dummies is that y'all are obsessed with them right along with me.

The way dialogue flows in their fics is just so natural and sometimes makes you laugh or gasp scandalously. You’d be hard pressed to find anyone else like them.

@saekogun - Known for their yandere Genshin college AU. I love how June sets up their world and how they explores their concepts—it’s almost you’re like a player in a game with how in-depth they go. Gave me so many brain worms about many fun different concepts of characters in different scenarios, it’s seriously impressive.

@stupid-sloot-headcanons - Amazing succinct and sweet excerpts/thoughts about many yandere stuff—perfect for a morning newspaper read. Will manage to get you horny within a couple sentences, mark my words.

@merakiui - Came for the yandere Genshin, stayed for the Azul thirst trap. No. 1 person to go to for Octavinelle brainrots (Need to get that Azul fix man). The way she writes visuals...beautiful. I swear I can see her words become actual pictures in my mind's eye.

@love-toxin - Has a good variety of fics on different media, from Eddie Munson(you’re almost getting me bestie)from Stranger Things to Leon Kennedy(every day I think about that fic. you know what I’m talking about) to SPIRIT HUNTER(i’m not normal about this media period. the second game is coming next year). "And the parents… Well. They're not acknowledging him at all."

As Tseng relayed the situation to him, Zack could only stare incredulously.

The fact of the matter was, Adriel was missing. As with Angeal and Genesis, the most logical course of action was to ask his family if they had any idea where he might have gone. Little context clues began to align. Adriel had dropped hints that his upbringing had been… Unsavory, to say the least.

But an utter disregard for their own child being missing?

"I have to talk to them, please, tell me where I can find them."

Tseng had given Zack the address, and he had followed it to a humble residence in Sector 7. As far as homes went, it was simple - perhaps a bit low-class upon further consideration.

"My parents werrre… Shinra wage slaves?" Zack recalled Adriel relaying this information with a tense, forced smile, "They all but sold me off to the SOLDIER program - just desperate, I guess."

Zack's fists tightened.

"Guess even the money wasn't worth keeping me around, after…"

He couldn't afford himself another moment to remember any of the things his friend had told him.

It would only make this all the more difficult.

With a sharp breath, he knocked on the door, immediately following by putting his hands on his hips and kicking the ground as he not-so-patiently awaited it to open.

As if he had been expected, the door opened after only a few moments, the visage of an older woman with a grim expression greeting him.

"Another one?" she sighed, seeming to analyze Zack as she looked him up and down, "A SOLDIER at that."

"The hell do you mean a SOLDIER?" a masculine voice followed from the adjacent room.

Zack didn't bother to speak yet, a tall man with an equally disagreeable face approached the door to presumably judge his merit as well.

And judge he did, quite clearly so, as he scowled at Zack and then at the woman.

"I thought you ran a Turk off earlier, what the hell did they send a SOLDIER here for?"

This time the woman seemed to direct her ire at the tall man, scowling just as forcefully.

"How am I supposed to know? If you're implying I didn't do good enough-"

"What the hell do you want? State your business or get off my doorstep," the tall man interrupted her to address Zack as if the woman were an annoyance and nothing more.

Clearing his throat, Zack crossed his arms. It was his turn to judge, and so far, these two weren't making a good impression in the slightest.

"I'm here to ask about your son-"

"We don't have a son," the woman interrupted now, glaring at Zack with apparent loathing, "We already told that Turk. You people need to correct those records of yours."

Zack let out a tense breath through his lips, steeling himself.

"Adriel. Your son. Your only child?"

The pair looked at each other before the tall man scoffed and shook his head.

"We had a daughter once. Had. Never a son, though."

"Oh are you SERIOUS," Zack exclaimed in exasperation before he could stop himself. He hadn't intended to lose his cool, he'd had every intention of civilly interacting with these unpleasant people to the best of his ability.

Easier said than done.

This obviously displeased the two further, the woman's glare intensifying.

"Watch your mouth, boy. Hadn't anyone ever taught you any respect?"

"Well maybe if you'd taught HER better we wouldn't be dealing with this right now, would we?"

Zack's jaw tightened, his teeth grinding together in an attempt to endure the horrific implications that he had been given the misfortune of hearing enough context clues to understand.

"Oh, so it's MY fault she turned into a good for nothing disappointment? I TRIED," the woman directed her statement from the tall man to Zack halfway through her sentence, "She had POTENTIAL, and she squandered it. I did my damned best to keep her on the right path, but she had to go and cast us aside. And for what?"

"PLEASE," Zack managed to keep his volume to a level that was stern but still civil, "He's MISSING. Please. Do you have ANY idea where he could have gone? Just- Just tell me and I'll leave you alone."

Even as Zack's fists clenched, even as he fought the tides of rage that swirled inside him, the pair only scoffed in unison.

"She stopped being our problem years ago. If she wants to disgrace herself further and become a deserter then that's on her."

Zack glared in exasperation at the woman as she disregarded Adriel without an ounce of remorse. He could hardly speak, struggling to keep himself agreeable just for this one instance. Just until he could leave and put these two out of his mind.

"She's become shamless, you know that. She probably doesn't know what to do with herself now that that 1st class she was whoring herself out for is g-"

Zack wasn't even aware that he had moved until his fist had connected with the tall man's face so forcefully that it sent him reeling back. Even as he stepped into the motion to grab the man by the shirt and shake him, his self-awareness was lost entirely. He knew he was speaking, knew that the woman was slapping at his arm and shouting, but still, he processed nothing.

It wasn't until he felt someone grapple him from behind and pull him back that he realized what he'd done, Tseng's voice becoming clear as he called out to him, "Zack!"

Everything rushed back at once - the sound of the woman shrieking at him, the sight of the man slumped against the doorframe, and the feeling of Tseng pulling him off the doorstep before releasing him.

"Zack, that's enough," the Turk spoke sternly, addressing him with equal intensity before looking at the pair in the doorway, "We're heading back, you've caused enough of a mess. We'll have to make a report for this," he sighed, clearly inconvenienced but not with a single ounce of judgment.

Zack's fist felt warm as he glowered at the two people in front of him, stomach heaving at not only having not gotten what he'd come for but for being shown proof of the harsh reality he had only been given glimpses of.

"You're right," he spat, offering one last hateful look before turning away, "He IS no son of yours."

Welp. I'm putting it under a read more so if people want to ignore it, they can. But because it was made public and for the sake of transparency at the accusations/implications hurled, I feel more comfortable posting about it than not. Not even for my own sake but because one of the best people I know is involved who is always patient and considerate with tags and being informed of peoples triggers.

I just want to say I find it convenient we were blocked and that my second ask where I'm clearly in agreement with the majority of what they're saying was posted, solely because I disagreed with the method of how this was approached. Nice to know the way they voiced having been treated is exactly the treatment they give others when they voice a criticism and ask for basic respect.

Additional unasked for advice: If you can't hold a debate or conversation in advocation for something you believe in, then you need to study and reflect more on what you're doing - wait to go public. In life, you are going to be criticized and questioned and if you can't handle some nobodies on the internet both agreeing, disagreeing, and criticizing you on a bare minimum level, then you are only going to hurt your cause more than help it. Especially when you throw accusations and implications and behave as shown below. Take it from an actual fucking activist who has been advocating mental and physical disabilities and equal rights since before you were born.

Where it began. Quen and I were just dicking around and her ask was reblogged. Neither of us have an issue with the blog's purpose, mind you. We're very much in support of correcting trigger warning tags being used incorrectly. Quen went ahead and corrected those tags.

Quen originally changed the tags on this post to the ones they requested before she decided to remove the icon as a whole and add context because of the reply that was given to our asks to remove the post from their blog. My dumbass just forgot to screencap the initial change but by the effort she made I think it's evident she followed through.

Cue my ask. Quen's is in their reply that follows. For the sake of transparency, I know my text tone isn't always pleasant and no one likes to get confronted/scolded, which is why I addressed how I wanted to sound to avoid confusion but alas.

Their reply. I don't disagree with the majority of their efforts, neither does Quen.

And then the second ask I sent which conveniently was ignored before they blocked us. I tried to clearly explain we supported what they did and where our only criticism was. As well as requested again to please remove our post from their blog.

After I had sent that, for the sake of showing with action my solidarity to their cause, I reblogged their post on tags. And I aim to keep it up and keep on reblogging it because I believe in their cause. Even if the people behind the blog I'm less enthused regarding, it's whatever. I'm an adult and a tired one at that, I see a cause I support and I'll support it even if the people are behaving poorly. What I won't do, though, is sit quietly when they are in need of some feedback on their conduct, however. People, especially advocates of something, don't become better activists by living in an echo chamber. They need to hear criticism in order to make sure they are reaching as many people as they can for their cause. That includes doing things in a way you may not like or get a lot of results with, like privately messaging people instead of making this public and snatching peoples content.

I hate doing this nonsense and I'm grateful I actually don't have to do it often at all since I usually am surrounded by competent adults who know common sense and how to communicate. I sent an ask off anon so they could reply to it private since messaging wasn't possible. Their choice to go public tied my hands a bit here. Especially with the following post here that doubles down on their accusations and implication of either of us being ableist. Honestly.

Finally, my favorite form of Tumblr mentality and behavior. Blocking people for giving valid and justified criticism. People who agree with you but still made frustrated and concerned commentary on your conduct. People who, I don't know... explained their discomfort and boundaries and requested you meet them halfway are shut down without any construction communication. Hm. Quen and I are literally implementing and supporting your cause and yet this is how you respond and behave.

Glad to know the level of professionalism here with this post they dropped. Brilliant. Congrats, you are officially behaving the exact way you said others treat you with. You've become what you despise and officially are hurting your cause by living in an echo chamber instead of having a constructive conversation and having basic respect for other people.

I support your cause, I don't currently support your ability to constructively advocate for it if this is how you behave.

And lastly, anyone who made it this far, please respect their cause and even reblog their post. It's very informative. Their conduct is rude, yeah, but I don't want hate thrown their way or any such shit. I just wanted to address for the sake of transparency this because it affects my friend and myself.
