he'd be nabbing this dress the moment he sees it. this perfectly fits his aesthetic. he has a thing for artistic motifs and what they symbolize (take his st peters cross coat for instance — to some, it represents satanism, to others, they think of peter from the new testamant's upside down crucifixion).

a spider's web is the perfect design to depict the predicament he's led you into. the more you struggle, the further ensnared you become. he'd be enchanted as he runs his hands up and down the expanse of your back, admiring the detailed work against your bare skin. it helps scratch that seemingly infinite itch to possess you in every definition of the word.

honestly if it were up to me and i had to do the baby plotline, id give Rebekah the baby after she takes the cure or smt. The whole family gets their shit together bc their baby sister is pregnant and that kid deserves the best version of them. Klaus gets jealous pranaoid etc etc bc he's too far gone to be redeemed. The other siblings realise they had the right idea in tvds3 and kill the man that has tormented and abused them for a millenia. Rebekah has a lil witchy baby. The end.

Now see this could’ve been fun. Rebekah wanted a family and children. Rebekah being a mother and the family having to work to be better people would be promising. But, also instead of chasing redemption there could be lines of acceptance and accountability. If we’re honest after a thousand years can the family truly be redeemed? No. I would’ve loved to see all the Mikaelson’s break apart from each other because they were all extremely co-dependent on one another even with Klaus’ abuse. I remember I used to think Rebekah was supposed to be the female lead of TO…then found out it was Hayley/PT whose performances weren’t strong enough compared to her co-stars. It’s interesting how Rebekah’s wants for a family and partner is eventually what Freya gets. Sure, Marbekah is married but if you think too long about them you’ll realize how they just don’t work.

If Rebekah wasn’t the one pregnant. I said this before but Hope’s mother should’ve been Bonnie. The writers wanted to introduce the tribrid into tvdu and because their so obnoxious racist they managed to give the tribrid, 3 species in one mind you a werewolf mother when she already had a werewolf-vampire father. It also would’ve been easier to show growth with. We knew nothing of Hayley, and they continued to rewrite to uplift her in the plot. We’ve seen how not having family hurt Bonnie, we’ve seen her be ruthless when it comes to defending people she loves also Bonnie’s bloodline has very rich history. The Mikaelson/Bennett history overlapping. Bonnie wouldn’t allow her child to be raised without innocence and certainly would’ve stopped the narrative that one person can heal a family. Instead we got “first-generation born Mikaelson witches” which the writers pulled out their ass. No werewolf arc for Klaus which is ironic given the hybrid plotline was a main focus of tvd. The writers always allowed their hatred to kill potential.

Corey Cunningham • Romantic Headcanons

General Stuff

- He’s just a silly guy. Who doesn’t love a silly guy?

- First meetings? He was probably awkwardly keeping his head down as he passed by.

-> Met during your school years? You probably saw him in the halls. Maybe he was a bit scared to talk to you.

> You may have gotten some anonymous love poem or something of the sorts from him as well.

- Just know that you probably had to make the first move to even start a platonic relationship, let alone a romantic one.

-> Friends to lovers? Aw that’s cute. You’re still gonna have to make the first move.

- Even as friends you guys had hangouts, movies and whatnot. Now they’re cute, stay-at-home, dates.

-> Horror I’d probably his first pick. Sci-fi is his second.

- He’s very nervous on your dates, he just wants it to go well.

- Corey uh..he has to sneak out of his house for late night dates. Doesn’t want his mom knowing he’s seeing someone. She would probably lose it.

-> “ Any friends that Corey wanted to see outside of school had to go through Joan first…Corey kept his love interests and friendships to a minimum and secretive. ”

- Corey tries to hide the fact he want to hold your hand by awkwardly asking, but will start beaming when you say yes.

-> And then proceed to never let go of your hand

-> Even if you guys held hands platonically as friends, he’d still just want to ask to be sure it’s ok to do.

- The first date, Corey’s going to ask what your boundaries are. He wants to make sure both of you know the other’s boundaries are as soon as possible.

- It’s important to him. Very, very important to him that you are comfortable being with him. [Especially if you started dating post-accident.]

- He loves you way more than himself. He could list everything he loves about you just at the drop of a hat if you ever asked.

- Corey remembers your interests very well after you tell him about them. He also remembers your favorite foods and drinks!

- So he can’t make your dates, because of work or his mom being extra observant of what he’s doing, then Corey will show up to your door with your favorite snacks as an apology.

- Calls you Dear, Darling, Baby, Angel [Post-Accident/Post-Michael]

-> Any pet name you give him will leave him a blushing mess, it’s really cute.

- Thrives on closeness and physical contact. Even putting your hands on his checks is enough to make him swoon.

-> He follows after you whenever you pull away. It’s just— your hands are so soft and the affection is so genuine. He cant get enough of it.

-> Yes, he is, 100%, going to keep physical contact with you as much as he can. Outside, at your place, he just can’t help it. It’s reassuring and it’s amazing. No matter what, he’ll always be touching you. Linking arms, holding hands, leaning against you, hugs…you get the idea.

-> [For the record, I think Corey would be too flustered to wrap his arms against your waist in public. Post-Michael Corey totally would though.]

- He wants to get into a good College after getting into a Engineering Program. He would want nothing more than to be able to provide enough money for the both of you to get out of the town.

-> If he makes it into a good college outside of town, he’ll feel really guilty if he has to leave you there.

-> And he would write to you. Every day. It would be his only comfort while being away from you for so long.

- Oh my poor boy

- Aw, here’s some angst if you two were together before the accident:

- Imagine him calling you just sobbing and trying to tell you that he’s been arrested and it was an accident and-

- You..believe him? Really? Oh that just hurts even more because you trusted him and he broke your trust and he’s just so sorry that he’s disappointed you.

- He really cares about you, and is most definitely be worried that people are going to start attacking you for even associating with him.

- Corey’s going to start isolating himself after his court case, become distant and less communicative.

- But if it gives you any comfort, he called you before he called Joan.

- Now, to general stuff.

- If you somehow start dating after his case. He’ll need heavy reassurance in your friendship let alone a romantic relationship.

-> A bit shy, and very cautious in your relationship initially. But once he trusts you he’s very loyal and clingy(? If that’s the right word.)

- And, while he finds comfort in your embrace, your touch, he doesn’t want to hurt you or your reputation.

-> He would feel terrible indulging in your touch just after the accident. I mean, how could you love such a terrible person? Even if it was an accident..

- Corey doesn’t want anyone. And I mean anyone to slander your name. Because you’re exceptional and perfect and he loves you so much and will not take anyone hurting your feelings.

- He’s like a.. lost puppy. A lap dog? A guard dog. A wolf in sheep’s clothing?

-> In my head my brain assumed he’d loved to be called puppy and would love head-pats and scratches sorry not sorry

- Corey is still as awkward as he was before the accident. Actually, he might be more awkward.

-> Even after the accident, knowing he’s still the awkward and dorky guy he always was is a comfort. To you and to Corey.

- His house isn’t really home anymore. To Corey, you are his home.

- He may not be able to protect you now, but he swears one day he’ll make everyone to hurt you pay.

-> That’s not to say he wouldn’t be comforted if you said that you’d protect him too.

- Work is repetitive, Joan is mean, people hate him. But he puts up with it.

-> All to get enough money so you two can leave the town. For good.

Post-Michael Myers Encounter

- One day Corey goes up and you, with excited eyes and a pep in his step, and tells you that he can protect you now. Protect himself.

- Something’s changed in him. At the moment, it seems to be for the better. And you couldn’t be happier for him.

- It’s been awhile since you saw him so full of life. So..happy. So excited.

- And he wasn’t kidding. About being able to protect you and himself.

- He walks with more confidence now, people seem more scared to approach the both of you when you walk. Perhaps it’s because he’s no longer a quiet guy with guilt eating away at him?

- Corey’s more open to going out for dates, but still likes at-home movie dates.

- Anyone staring at you the wrong way will be met with a death glare from Corey. It’s a threat, a threat he can go through with.

- Suddenly…people are disappearing. Bodies missing or turning up in grotesque displays of violence.

- You don’t recognize most of them. Well, maybe they gave you a mean look or a rude remark.

- Depending on if Corey thinks you’ll be okay with the violence, you might not even know about it.

-> After all it’s not something you should worry your pretty little head about.

- If you are okay with it, cool. He would love to share with you what he does! Consider acts of service apart of his love language.

-> Now you need to make rules about cleaning up before you cuddle. And maybe you help clean him up after his little…escapades. A new bonding moment he can have with you! How lovely.

- By the way, meet Michael Myers. His father figure mentor. Please put the knife down, it’s not that bad—

- Corey promises he won’t hurt you. And when has he broken a promise to you?
