Slugcat oc, the weapon! It's an especially tiny slugcat, very portable! It makes up for size by... exploding things with its mind. Kinda like saint's popping ability, but. deadly. It can only use this ability once between long recovery periods, but that's usually enough to deter anything that isn't vaporized by the blast. Its aposematic coloration and the symbol on its head communicates to creatures and ancients alike that this little thing is dangerous.

It was purposed to defend vulnerable locations from wild animals, and eventually used to protect the ancients from vultures in the migration from moon to pebbles. Some ancients who were especially tied to the cycle used them to defend their personal wealth.

The weapon is about the size of a slugpup and has similar speed & jump height to the gourmand. No need to be fast when you can blow things up with your mind.
