Here’s Ilya!

Ilya is the Goddess of Cards. As the patron of card games, she is an incredibly deceitful deity. Hard to read, with a poker face no one can crack, human or god. She can read anyone like a deck of cards, and can figure out exactly how to move against them - with one dealt of a hand, she can make one’s entire façade of confidence crumble.

She created the practice of card games and taught them to humans as a way to test their wits against one another. Along with the card games, she also taught them other skills. How to read one’s opponent, how to keep a poker face, and most importantly, how to bluff in order to keep the enemy guessing. Statues and visages of her are erected in casinos and gambling halls in order for customers to pray for her assistance so that they may win their next game.

Like Lodin, she is viewed as a god of games, though while Lodin is more impartial towards physical games, Ilya is more impartial towards games of wit and deception. And like Lodin, she prefers a simple game in order to decide whether to provide her assistance or not. She always promises to help those who successfully win against her, though she remains undefeated in card games, which means she doesn’t dole out her services a whole lot. Though she can decide to “pull a few strings” if her defeated opponent impresses her enough.

(If Yumeko Jabami existed in this universe, I feel like she and Ilya would be best friends.)

Finally I decided to make something related to beyblade. It may be a bit boring but it's my home.

Some beyblade burst sky moodboards. Even though Tumblr ordered it reverse, I made the Ilya one first. I'm not sure if I'll make more of these. Let's see how my mood goes. Enjoy! 💋

And we're back with the "Beyblade Burst God AU x Epic: The Musical" crossover!

There still aren't any new releases yet, but the next unpublished one on the list is "God Games"!

I drew Ilya singing as Zeus as he announces the “God Games”. When I was first planning out this series in my head, I thought I would draw Lodin, as he is the literal God of Games. I decided on Ilya, though, because she’s the Goddess of Cards and is more of a mental strategist, which the game relies more on.

The premise is that she notices Aiger (who replaces Athena in this series, BTW) being adamant about saving Odysseus, and is intrigued since the captain has a long list of irredeemable shames. Always being one for a good game of wits, she tells Aiger that she will pull some strings to ensure that Odysseus is set free. If, and that’s a very big if, he is able to convince her lineup of skeptical gods that he is worthy of divine intervention.

This is where I messed up big time in the drawing. The already teased parts of the song were playing on loop in my head while I was making this, so the lineup is a little messed up. It’s supposed to go:

Apollo - Orochi

Hephaestus - Naru

Aphrodite - Akira

Ares - Arthur (Peregrine)

Hera - Shasa, Honey

But as you can see, the lineup in the cards is clearly… not that.

Apollo and Hephaestus’s parts haven’t been teased yet, so I mostly went off of the premises of their characters. What has been teased about Apollo’s part is that it’s accompanied by a beautiful harp piece, so my brain immediately went to Orochi. And Hephaestus is the Greek god of blacksmithing, so I paired his part with Naru.

I honestly gave up with Aphrodite and Ares, and just went with my versions of the gods of love and war: Akira and Arthur.

Hera is the Greek goddess of marriage, so I automatically went with the Guardians of Family: Shasa and Honey. Yup, they share a part because they are that good of sisters.

This song is technically seven songs in one, so yes, I will make drawings for each part. Once again, Apollo and Hephaestus’s parts haven’t been teased yet, but once they are, you can bet that I’ll draw them!
