barty POV: vegas wedding yeehaw

evan's POV: james' heist.

it's all written but i need to sit with it, edit it a little, add and delete some things. i means she's 15k+ words rn so it's a CHAPTER but we move 😎

I don't draw much of Valentine and Clive lately bc 1. I don't have much time to draw things that i like AND 2. ... I feel nervous sjfbfbgber is the same story as always, i think something is really cool and awesome until i do it and suddenly is the most embarassing thing (just in me btw i still think other's selfships are cool)

I just feel very vulnerable i guess? And it's not like i don't think about them, i think about them an awfully LOT

I just feel trapped, in a little box, or i just don't want some friends laughing even though this is something that really makes me happy in a lot of ways

I know the answer is just "do it!" but

One of the most frustrating things about me as a writer is that I will have a good couple of weeks for writing where everything just flows, even if I have to edit the mess out of it later. Then, one day, I suddenly have no will or motivation. Like...Poof! And then, another hyperfixation comes in and gets in the way of my writing even more. I WANT to write, but I literally can't get my brain to cooperate.

(Current hyperfixation: video games. I'm bouncing between 5 different games and only 1 of them is actually a new game)

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME?????????? and thus was verbal again

The way people demonize seagulls is actually unreal. Almost all of their natural habitat has been destroyed (almost all coastal areas have been developed, destroying natural sand dune ecosystems) and they're doing their best to adapt. They're literally just trying to survive. You're in their home. The vitriol some people have for these gorgeous sea birds just because they're not shy about snatching food if you're not cautious is insane
