Not to get deep here or anything but i really think i dont want to have a relationship with my sister anymore and ive been reflecting on that a lot. like sure she didnt abuse me or really do anything to directly traumatize me, but she voted against me having human rights because im queer, as well as voting for a party that wants to harm first nations people despite both of us being first nations i just.... i dont think i can forgive her for that. weve had laughs and good times together but i find myself unable to forgive her for her politics. i wouldn't tolerate bigotry from anyone else, i shouldnt tolerate it from someone just cause theyre family.

s/o to dark and daisuke for deconstructing so much of their potential for antagonism too tbh. their extremely weird moral alignment always isolates them between good/evil parties and that's meta. they steal but they don't kill, they don't care who they selfishly steal from but still have other selfless, protective reasons for the theft. that's how it's supposed to be for them both, but also rather than fill themselves up with bitterness or anger as is the motivation for a lot of stereotypical villains, they'll always be the sorts to make note of and appreciate even the smallest intimacies and kindnesses instead. because they're so isolated and they want something beyond it, they're likewise always trying for connection. there are some characters that are swift to develop grudges and a vengeance that immediately squares them against the world and brings them enemies, and sure dark especially can be habitually petty or apathetic, but even then as long as he's with daisuke, then they're both the sorts to pay immense gratitude to those who accept and assist rather than linger obsessively over people who've hurt them.

“Kill all men” (and variations) isn’t feminist.
The goal of feminism is not to reverse the gender hierarchy. The goal of feminism is not to eradicate half the population.
The goal of feminism is gender equality.
If you legitimately believe that men, as a group, are uniformly and unequivocally bad just on the basis of their identity, something they cannot control, and that, due to that, they cannot be trusted, ever? If you believe that only women are trustworthy or good and men and inherently bad, then you do not believe in some of the very basic foundations of gender equality.
And like. The belief that women are inherently trustworthy and good is also bad. Like, I kinda thought it was common sense that putting somebody up on a pedestal is bad because it has one of two possibilities: a) the possibility to set them up for failure (because no person is perfect, always good and pure, and everyone makes mistakes), and b) the possibility to provide abusers with shields; if you believe women don’t abuse people, even if it’s not an explicit belief, guess what you’re more vulnerable for?
And these thought patterns aren’t just anti-feminist. They’re pretty bad for multigender people, too. I’m genderfluid, but on average I am usually somewhat a man and somewhat a woman, just in varying degrees. So when you say that all men are evil, am I to assume you think people like me are, too? If yes, that seems pretty cold-hearted. I am not benefiting from the patriarchy; I am intersex and transfemasc. I am androgynous in a visibly trans way. In a misogynists’ mind, I’m not a man or a woman, I’m a thing. If no… why make an exception for me? It feels like you’re erasing my identity as a man— just because I am a woman does mean I am not a man.
If what you mean when you talk about these things is that men have to be aware of their societal position with respect to the patriarchy and vigilant for unconstructed misogyny? Then say that. Don’t say you wish men would die, don’t make fun of gay men and bi women’s attraction to men, don’t say vile shit about trans men just because you think it’s ‘punching down.’

I’m a big Steddie shipper but I just can’t imagine Eddie having had a crush on Steve in school (or Chrissy for that matter). Like (teenaged) alternative culture has pretty strong social control of its own and everyone is obsessed with constantly proving they’re not a faker - there’s a very strong collective push to think of normal people and their interests as pathetic. And with the cafeteria speech I think Eddie very is all that. So I think it would be a lot more sensible/interesting to write Eddie as having had a crush on Billy or Jonathan... and then being blind-sided by developing a crush on Steve when he actually gets to know him.

you know, at this rate my Necromancer numbers amongst my custom heroes are growing in a way that isn't unlike how they can multiply in the actual game... lmao
anyway, WIP of Theodora the Blighted - my human Necromancer who is just blatantly evil all the way thru. Destruction master and Shadowborn adept and as much as I love Mina's design... Theodora has better synergy with the class itself since it leans all-in into Evil hahaha
