For someone who was raised in an extremely religious environment (I'm talking moving to KSA so that we can practice our religion and having been homeschooled with religious afternoon schools being the only irl schools I've ever attended) to having lived almost my entire life in a country where the gays get the death penalty and random people report queer people just because they can and to having fag being the ONLY way anyone in your family refer to gay people to having to listen to your mother say that the kid she used to babysit (who came out as gay) should go and die of aids along with every other queer to your father saying all gay people are pedophiles and screaming to change the tv if so much of a gay joke was on to having constantly be surrounded by friends who made fun of and harassed gay people, i really have done SUCH an exceptional job or accepting, understanding, relating and loving my sexuality. I am so amazing for that. And I did it ALL on my own. I had no one, not a single person there, and I still did it. I did it. All me. I did. I did.
