Folklore Pokemon: Sāriknight

Sāriknight is a mythical pokemon that appear in many beliefs and folklore related to Arceus. They have the appearance of Gardevoir and Mega Gardevoir, but with differently shaped ears, completely green (sometimes yellow) eyes, lighter hair, and wings. They are said to be messengers of Arceus. While they originated in Hoenn of them being messengers of Rayquaza, beliefs of them soon spread around the world, and are now most commonly associated with the Arceus faith.

Their name comes from the word "Sār" meaning "princes" and "Sirknight," which is their Hoenn name. Legends state that these pokemon often give messages to humans through dreams or unown, with some sources even stating that they give prophecies using these methods. Despite their supposed strength, Sāriknight was stated to not be as strong as legendaries, but more powerful than the average mythical.

First, I run this blog as a side blog, so I'll like and follow from my main!! That being said:

Canon is based on games and anime. I treat Pokémon like Pokémon, not animals, so not very focused on animal-based realism and biology. Basically, very low stakes and mostly good vibes.

Im okay interacting with sentient pokémon, crossovers and other gimmick blogs! Again, not taking it very realistically :).

Both the mod behind this account and Clay are Hispanic, so please excuse any weird english or references to spanish names/towns. You're more than free to reference it or follow along for the bit lol.

Story Arcs:

Found (finished) -> a somewhat important mini arc surrounding Maple experiencing paranoia about something watching him in his room, and the fear and delusions that come along with this. things get worse when some of his pokemon begin to act odd as well. eventually the culprit of the feeling of being watched was revealed to be a shroodle living in the walls... or was it?

Unauthorized Fucking Thing (Finished) -> a low stakes but important arc. a strange glameow has appeared in maple's dorm, odd considering glameow don't live in paldea. upon checking its microchip, only garbage data showed up. whats more is that at one moment Maple (?) claimed to know the owner, and the next had no idea what others were talking about nor was able to see the posts. Eventually Maple decides to adopt the glameow, only for her to vanish before he can do so officially.

Anything on this blog from before June 6th 2024 has been retconned. The story told on this blog started from the beginning, and many plot elements and aspects of the lore have been changed. Maple mentioning roleplaying Yveltal is a lore aspect of the redux version (post retconned) and not him having simply made up every post before the date listed

some funky previews for shenanigans - ooo mystery raid (its obvious). Already started approaching peeps to participate in some key stuff but it'll open for all to come throw hands and participate in the coming arcs...once I figure out the mechanics. Almost there, trying to make it less mathy and more fun. This is part of that turtle thing I talked about months back-been plotting in the bg, bidding time hah!

It's gonna take a long while, this is still a slow burn event. An important note for my various muses and stuff ahead beneath!

Again, slow burn event - it wont be constant cause of life, dont want stress and for story beats. Most will be fun raid events for muses to catch some neato paradox pokemon leading to funny turtle shenanigans and crater dives. It's not entirely plotted out. Like...here's my scratchy notes lol:

Anyone can join in on open parts - super hope you do! I kinda wanted this as a sort of final ruckus to Scarlet/Violet as gamefreak on record is going to announce a new venture for the year. Hopefully this ends before whenever that comes out!

While this long event is for anyone to participate (Im planning sign ups or something of that matter later down the line for crux parts-Ive already approached some of you, hello there ; > ), it also means the end of my many muse's arcs and stories they've been slowly building to in the bg. This is going to be my fun and final goodbye to my time in the rpc completely.

It's been weighed for a long long time now and I feel it's just about right. Life's been very very busy in a good way! Going to therapy, narrowing down what I want to do with myself, developing habits and schedules to ensure I stick to it including getting properly medicated, challenging my social anxiety and reaching out to others, and even deciding to quit my current dayjob in the near future. RP has been holding me up for years now with just fantastic character and plot ideas I couldn't come up including meeting so many mutuals and friends who've stuck with me for just as long as I've been here. But at some point it's turning more and more into an investment and distraction. I spend too much time here then realize Ive been behind on actual work including the amount of energy and creativity.

In no way am I leaving because of drama, trouble, etc. Figured it'd be nice to bid goodbye with an event then to just peace out quietly one day. Im not even entirely leaving rp per say. I would love to join some of the rp servers here now that Im getting better at participating in group chats. That way Id still stay connected to friends! Probably going to join with new muses entirely but besides the point--

Thanks so much for being interested in my plots, crack posts, ic things, art, etc. Again in no way is this anytime soon hah! I figured with the long while until this is happening Ill have time to start and wrap up other important plots going on with mutuals. But Im looking forward to making this the best last year ever in the rpc before the new title drops <3

MUN MONDAY: GETTING TO KNOW YOU

ROLEPLAYER NAME: Alu! But I also don't mind being called Kieran, which is my irl name! I am very proud of it, I worked hard to get it. Before Alu, i've previously gone by Henry, D, and Vampy as sort of pennames!

MUSE NAME: Serkan! My loser edgelord bhaalspawn who is oh so easily manipulated because he has massive daddy issues and is happy to bury himself 6 feet deep into denial apparently. Also is super horny on main. There's also the cannibalism.

PREFERRED COMMUNICATION: I prefer talking on discord myself, but i'm fine with IM's too!

EXPERIENCE: I've been rping officially since 2014! I started out in the Fire Emblem fandom rping as Henry from Fire Emblem Awakening (hence one of my old pennames) and from there I spent a while in the pokemon rpc and the Elsword rpc (all like 6 of us at the time lmao). I haven't really branched out all that much outside of that? And this is my first real dip back in since like 2021 when I hopped out of the pokemon rpc.

PREFERRED ROLEPLAY TYPE: It highly depends on my mood. Most of the times 1-2 para is where I like it, but then sometimes I just want to go ape shit and write like 6 paragraphs of internal screaming.

PET PEEVES & DEALBREAKERS: I really don't have a lot. I'm very easy going and kind of go with the flow. Other than like... general rp etiquette stuff, I guess I really hate it when I can clearly tell someone didn't read my characters bio? Like they send me something or make a reply that makes assumptions that are so blatantly ooc for my muse that I can tell they didn't bother to read. Or straight up misgender my muse, because I know I do tend to rp more feminine looking men because gender envy. That bothers me a lot.

PLOTS OR MEMES: I generally prefer memes over plotting. I tend to have a hard time gauging how my muse will react to something until The Thing is actually happening, so I almost find too much plotting to be very restrictive for me. I do sometimes like to set out a sort of... goal posts I guess? Where I list off things I'd like to maybe happen at some point in a thread or in the future, and kind of base things off that?

LONG REPLIES OR SHORT REPLIES: Like I mentioned earlier, highly dependent but usually short or middle length unless i'm being possessed by my muse and they won't shut up.

BEST TIME TO WRITE: I write like 90% of my replies at like midnight almost. It is currently 11:30 PM.
