In your swap AU, are the Mario brothers guys who wear princess dresses as their everyday outfits?

HIII ramble incoming

Partially! My swap AU switches the Mario Bros., and their counterparts, with the princesses! [Peach, Daisy, Shokora, and Rosalina] Specifically, Luigi takes Peach's role of the Mushroom Kingdom's ruler, Mario takes Daisy's role as Princess of Sarasaland, while Peach takes Mario's role as main character and Daisy as a secondary hero. I do mix the story up a bit, since here Peach and Daisy are matched with Mario and Luigi respectively, they just don't typically rescue their partner X] Wario swaps with Shokora, specifically True-Form Shokora cause she's the best /lh, and is cursed into a cat form+shadowy blob for a couple thousand years. Since Shokora technically dies, or at least goes to heaven, at the end of her game, I'm still deciding on whether Wario's kingdom is completely forgotten by the time he regains his true form or if he revives it due to still being alive and well.

And Waluigi swaps with Rosalina! Depending on where I take Wario [tbh he probably IS already the most different seeing as I keep Wario around hehee], Waluigi def gets the most changes as a Princess. I change the story of Galaxy a bit for him because i'll admit I'm biased. [still hammering it, but to summarize Peach fights him as like. a midboss with two stages before fighting a main boss on the Observatory, and 'post-game' she requests for a Warp Pipe to be connected from the castle to the Observatory so Waluigi can visit whenever, instead of just every 1000 years.]

To directly answer the question, the Bros. do wear dresses as everyday outfits, but not just for fun or anything X]

This is one of the earlier [and unfinished oops] designs for Mario, specifically his coronation dress. I decided against the long gloves since 1. he swaps with Daisy 2. he's in Sarasaland and 3. I just think short gloves fit his character better X]

This is Luigi's coronation dress! Designed after a 1-Up Mushroom cause he's green and rules the Mushroom Kingdom lol. I drew it on a draft of a timeline I made for my AU, since I did map out some events. Mostly cause I dumped angst on Waluigi sorry pal :[ BUT!! Anyway Luigi is the last one to officially be a princess chronologically, maybe a bit ironic seeing as he's the fella who started my whole AU!

I have a couple different ideas for how Mario and Peach meet, and how Daisy and Luigi meet, etc etc, and this is one of them! Finding out your bestie in distress has a cute brother that you have to beat in a tennis match wasn't what Peach was expecting for that day probably X]

4. …why you should choose to check out the world of this story and choose three gifs that should underline my point.

NOTE: i will be forgoing the GIF part and using pictures instead because every single GIF search result has been clogged up with mouth-breathers on the internet who have been arguing over whether SPM is good or bad and have been doing it in GIF form for years. don't believe me? search "super paper mario" on discord's gif search. you'll see it. you always see it.

oh jesus. see the thing about liking super paper mario is that there's a lot of SPM fans out there who really like the game but can't really connect a very important dot as to Why they like the game. (HINT: THEY PLAYED IT WHEN THEY WERE YOUNG AND ARE NOSTALGIC FOR IT SO THE FLAWS IT HAS IS WAY LESS FOR THEM, AND BY PROXY, ME.) IM self aware. i will never be able to hate the game, but i am incredibly aware that the gameplay can be fairly lacking sometimes. if the story doesnt already grip you, it probably wont ever be worth it to go through the gameplay. thats my bit. thats my piece.

(but then youll have people who see how SPM defenders dont like to critique it when it deserves to be critiqued and start going after stuff like "oh the story isnt even that good"? MAN WHY DID YOU BRING THE STORY INTO THIS.)

but i digress. the life of a paper mario fan is a long and hard one.

POINT THE FIRST. MARIO'S "EXPERIMENTAL" ERA.

you can argue that ttyd also fits this bill, and i think it does, but this is about SPM so im focusing on that. if the mario series has never really Gripped you or you havent really been a lifelong fan, i always think the gamecube-wii era of mario has been one of its more interesting moments. the switch renaissance has allowed a breath of creativity to come back into mario, and mario's allowed to be Weird again, but gamecube-wii mario is weird in a really SCUFFED way and i love it. the gamecube's flagship mario game was a LUIGI game where he cant even jump. super paper mario came out before mario galaxy or NSMBwii. that was our mario rep on the wii for a while. mario games get a little crazy, a little weird here. and so what you get is a more melancholic story about the end of all worlds, and exploring what it really means to be a hero, and the closest many games will get to acknowledging that the mario characters can have emotions that arent Perfect. its just such a fascinating era for such a perfectly-marketable franchise and i adore it. it's a testament to what mario can Be, for me. Mario Is Weird. say it with me now!

POINT THE SECOND. GOODBYE TO A WORLD.

i just really like the theme of All Worlds Coming To An End. usually in these sort of things, it's "save the world so the world doesnt end!" but in this game, it really feels like "the world is ending and you have to fight even to have a chance to succeed". it colours the tone of the game in such a fantastic way. many songs in the OST have a ticking clock in them. the inescapable void is even in the hub world. it's like the majora's mask of paper mario. many people talk this up but the fact that in chapter 6, you're beholden to the traditions of a silly king who REFUSES to believe the world is ending even when HIS ENTIRE SKY IS PURPLE, and youre trying so hard to beat this 100-man duel faster and faster, only for the world to end and then youre forced to go back into the chapter and see this GRAVEYARD. it makes it so much more tangible. THIS is what will happen if you fail. and this overhanging melancholy paints the themes of love so much stronger. it's not just a love story, it's a love story in adversity. love conquers all, but what is the "all" in question? well, this. bleakness. sometimes the bleakness is part of the love. sometimes you make a sacrifice in the name of love, and nobody likes it, but you know it must be. the whole game is actually a love story between bleck and tippi and it just grips me so. it's such a multi-faceted depiction of love and loss that it feels so much more real to me, that love isn't always the Magical Solution. love is a sword, a shield, a prayer, a wish, a curse, a blessing, an order, an act of cowardice, an act of bravery, a sacrifice.

(you see what i mean? i can literally only be talking like this because i grew up with this stupid ass game)

POINT THE THIRD. FUCK ALL THAT THOUGH LET'S TALK ABOUT THE BLECK MINIONS.

so, the whole kind of crux of this game is that it's a love story between bleck, the main antagonist, and tippi, your companion, right. if you can't flesh both of them out you're in a bad way. obviously for tippi, she's hanging around you all the time, and you get to hear her journey play out throughout the entire game. BUT WHAT OF BLECK? HE'S HIDING IN HIS CASTLE! how are we supposed to know more about him and learn his story if he is IN HIS CASTLE? well that's why after every chapter, there's this interlude where we CHECK UP ON THE BAD GUYS.

i blame this game entirely for my love of villains. this gang of baddies has so much quirks and personality that i find it hard NOT to love them. they're not just gormless minions of the count- each shows their own personality in their relationship with him. mimi has a puppy-love crush on him, o'chunks has a sort of warrior's bond with him, nastasia pledges herself to him and almost uses the minions she controls as a conduit for her dedication to him, dimentio is like a cat in a bird store, and mr l clearly isnt supposed to be here but i dont think he knows that. the minions bicker amongst themselves but clearly have a bond of cameraderie because it all feels like teasing of people who've known each other for a long time.

you fight each minion at least twice, and even though the lackluster gameplay kinda comes in full force again, you get to see so much PERSONALITY in these guys. mimi is super-bratty but seems to know most people would see her as a monster so leans into it, dimentio is playful and jovial while also having his own motives, o'chunks is bold and brash but asks you to finish him off the second time he fails, mr. l is cocky to a fault and reeks of insecurity. i just love having these guys we can always check up on. it's like lord crump but MOOOOORE.

and through a combo of you inferring things about these people and some of the Deeper Lore (flopside bar stories), you kinda come to learn that these minions were kinda manipulated by bleck when they were at their lowest. mimi is a failed creation of SOMETHING. o'chunks' men all died because there was a traitor in his midst. nastasia was saved from a cage by bleck. and the more you learn about bleck the more you see that he is a man grieving the woman he loved, apathetically trying to end all worlds so the pain would end. he lies to the minion, he says he aims to make perfect new worlds, and they believe him, and they love him, because he saved them.

this sort of birth of a relationship through bleck's pain and manipulation comes through by the end, as the love the minions have for bleck is a KEY part of the final act. and idk it's a bunch of deeply-hurting misfits binding together and accidentally finding love in a world they found loveless. i think thats really cool. i think THEYRE really cool. such an awesome cast of villains.

but yknow. again. this is my childhood game. the special feeling i have for it can't really just be put into words. it's my diamond in the rough and nothing can really change that. it's Home.

idk how people feel about luvbi but i was very moved at the end of 7-4 i can't exactly remember what i thought of her but i liked her sass and her slightly obnoxious personality

she's also supposed to be a young child im assuming around the age of 12 and young children are very bratty

i can see why that would be annoying but ... she's also a young child who had no real fun or choice in her life and she now has to give up her entire existence with - as far as they know - no chance of her coming back (more on that in just a second) to save the universe and she didn't really get to live her own life and now she never will how cruel is that ? while i also do think you feel some for the parents too its kinda conflicting that they knowingly assigned this fate to their only daughter who they love and have to let her give herself up but idk i think i feel more for luvbi herself on this matter

i appreciate luvbi but i'd understand why some people might not like her

anyways more on the whole luvbi dying thing ... apparently in the post game of spm if you go back to the overthere luvbi will be there , completely fine . like . come on . they're even like 'how am i back no clue don't worry about it' i think this really cheapens her sacrifice even if she didn't really get much of a choice in the matter ... like ok technically the only character that actually stays dead is dimentio , the villain . while you could argue that blumiere and timpani died too in their sacrifice , the game still offers the possibility they may be still alive somewhere happily living the rest of their days together , as blumiere says he 'wasn't long for this world anyway' but he regrets he must ask timpani to cut her game short , he also did say there was a chance they may go away for good , as well as the end credits and nastasia in the endgame saying she can feel the count still alive somewhere and while i do actually like that interpretation , something just bothers me about the fact the only character to stay dead is the villain . ok well i think king croacus might actually still be dead too but um . that's actually so funny by the way but that's not important rn-

sammer's kingdom also comes back too , and this is fine since like . all the worlds were being erased at the end and they all come back im fine with that . but i don't feel as though there's much of a good reason for luvbi to have somehow survived other than the fact it's just too sad and dark to keep her dead

2. Which of your fics is your pride and joy?

it hasn’t been written out/made yet, but definitely metamorphose, my spm au!! its been with me for many years now and it’s very special to me ;_; im excited to hopefully write it out someday <3

as for a fic that’s actually published, currently my pride and joy are those spm short story prompt one-shots i’ve been doing bit by bit!! its a fun way to explore the characters of metamorphose and get to know them better i think!

26. Do you ever "prep" your fics with outlines or warmups before you start writing, or do you just dive right in?

it depends on the fic for me i think; most of the time i just dive right into writing it! but if its a fic that i want to get juuuust right i try for the outline approach, sometimes i even use little mini outlines to help me remember things in fics i want to include when i come back to write them later on!

33. A character you want to protect.

the first one that came to mind was nastasia, but it’s not in a way that’s like “she can do no wrong”. i guess it’s because she’s very dear to me and something about her makes me want to protect her; i love her through her good traits and her flaws and it’s like.. her circumstances that i write for her backstory just makes me want to protect her and see her grow

why does almost every hp item cure poison in spm, shouldn't only a certain number of them do that

Consider the following:

being poisoned is annoying.

Number 1 because youre loosing precious health overtime where you can either ignore or seek the antidote for. Looking for an antidote is daunting because you become focused on finding a mushroom instead of progressing the level with consideration. It becomes a speedrun to get from one question block to another and it's then easy to miss stuff or just simply stop caring at the story. You also don't want to die because if you haven't saved in a while you'll loose a lot of progress, unless you were healthy enough when you got poisoned or have a healing item on you. If you do have one then congrats you're freed.

Since the inventory is rather limited it could become tedious to buy separate items for healing then other for status effects. This isn't pokemon you don't have a large bag.

Number 2 since I'm writing every single post from memory I can get stuff wrong but if Im not mistaken being damaged also flings you back. The last thing you would want is to fall from a platform just because an enemy a few rooms back accidentally hit you and you're still suffering those consequences.

Lore wise its debatable but it's not too much of a stretch logically. Like this is supposed to heal you, fix your leg remove a bruise or even internal bleeding. Poison, one you get hit with not one you drink, would probably damage your skin other than anything which is in the range of the healing items definition.

Personally I'm glad they did it like this, you don't have to worry about having a specific situational item on you at all times.

Im glad we have all collectively agreed Mario + Rabbids is part of this little Mario RPG umbrella, and that we didn't immediately drop it the second the TTYD remake rolled around. It's now just as big of a pillar to this subset of Mario as Paper Mario and M&L, and now we're getting to a point where they're all about to thrive together

Absolutely! My TTYD obsession returning isn't going to move me an inch from also still caring about M+R. This series has brought me as much joy as any of the Paper Mario or M&L games (except for maybe SPM... that game practically saved my life) and deserves to stand up there with the best. Maybe not everyone agrees that it belongs with the others, and I know there are still some people who love Mario RPGs but are hesitant because they're sus of the rabbids, so I'm going to keep doing my part to convince people to play them. Just like Rayman, they'll learn that sometimes rabbids can be loveable heroes :) (And also AMAZING VILLAINS)

Within the last few months we got the SMRPG and TTYD remakes announced, and Phantom back.... I'm living large TBH, I just honestly couldn't be happier. Yes there are still some games out there I'd love to see (like a new DK game) but I'm just, going crazy with how lucky I feel right now.

TO BE HONEST!!!! seriously i always see people comparing ingo to mario and luigi to emmet because like?? ingo and mario are older i guess?? i just think the memory loss plot specifically with ingo and mr. L is so good just because like (even though they go about it in very different ways) they miss their siblings SOOOOO much... mr. L built a giant robot in the shape of his face and calls it his brother and feels like he can't possibly lose while fighting with it and ingo unknowingly quotes emmet and says that the words he's borrowing fill him with strength even though he doesn't know who he's taking them from I'M GOING TO BE ILL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and obviously emmet has never actually been shown at all chronologically in universe after ingo's presumed disappearance but he and mario both have to deal with the fallout of that... like losing someone and then having no idea where they are or even if you can get them back (especially thinking about certain fanmade scenarios for both spm and pokemon but that's besides the point)

ANYWAYS. yeah i definitely think mario and emmet and luigi and ingo are the parallels my mind always draws LOL. what if we were two guys who were amnesiacs and relatively minor characters (for mr. L specifically more than luigi + mr. L through the story as a whole but still) in a game where a huge hole in the sky was a prominent issue and we got super popular within the fanbase. mario and emmet though they both have a lot of personality do not give much to go off of vis a vis their reaction to these specific scenarios since the whole gag with mr. L is "hmmmm i wonder who that guy is" and emmet isn't a part of pla or any subsequent games BUT STILL. it's enough to see similarities

the whole point of me gradually posting my other chapters was to give me more time to write chapter 5 without a giant noticeable gap between chapters ......... but i haven't touched my docs in over a month now i haven't the entire month of april what the fuck </3

i guess i've just gotten kinda distracted ..... i've had to change my schedule and get used to it and i've been giving more attention to my other interests lately and it makes me feel bad for this one bc it feels like i'm cheating on it or something </3

well it's not just spm this time i've also been putting a lot more attention into team starkid's works lately ..... i've also been playing a lot of mario party and pokémon white as of recent so i've been kinda distracted .... which speaking of realistically after i finish writing this post i'm gong right back to playing white

but i think what annoys me most is i HAVE ideas for wir . i've tried i've tried drawing lately but the one day i actually had the time to spare on a silly doodle idea i had i was having one of my 'weird moods' where i kinda get out of my head and i can't seem to do anything at all so that was incredibly frustrating .... like i wasted 3 hours on a sketch i hate that's annoying ....

i find that writing is a lot like riding a bicycle .... actually getting on the bike and starting the pedalling is annoying but when you get in the rhythm you don't want to stop but when you eventually have to stop you never want to get back on again .....

OKAY . NEW PLAN . thinking out loud here the rest of april im just gonna chill but when may comes around i will be back on my writing game .......... damn thinking about how i started the first chapter back in mid february and how i essentially finished the first four chapters in only a month but i've been doing literally nothing on that front for that same time - actually it's been longer than that now - kinda pisses me off but i guess that's really my fault for not juggling my interests better .... i guess i also just have less time than i used to i pretty much got all four chapters done before my schedule changed so that has a part to play as well .....

General thoughts on Luigi?

MY GENERAL THOUGHTS ON LUIGI.

- he is adorable. as is his brother. he and mario have a cute quality to them and the universe needs to accept this

- i think it’s always been kinda interesting how a lot of people seem to treat luigi as a character as if he’s still “the underdog in his brothers shadow”. i can see where they’re coming from, since it just makes such a compelling story of being a Victim of Circumstance, and his eventual “rise to the call” in luigi’s mansion really giving him legs to stand on, and games like spm exploring luigi’s specific lot in life as “player two”, but the culture and treatment of luigi has definitely shifted since the experimental period of the 2000s. not only is he treated as just as much of a hero as mario but i feel like the public opinion of him has grown so much that he’s likely more popular than even mario himself is (just look at how big of a lead he had in the schafrillas mario ranking).. i frequently find myself pondering the logistics of Underdog Luigi but i feel like more people need to recognize that it definitely isn’t the case anymore in mario canon writlarge

- he needed more screentime in the movie! and i’m NOT just saying that because i love him! genuinely think about it for a moment. luigi gets stuck in the darklands through no fault of his own. neither brother knew what was in the warp pipe, and their separation in the warp zone was almost random. so then, yes, he does spend a lot of the movie cowering in fear, but that’s because he HAPPENED to land in the darklands. hell, he even stands up to bowser (verbally) at one point! and why this is a problem for me is that luigi is supposed to be a shrinking violet and a scaredy cat, and i love how weird and socially awkward he can be in the movie, but because this is MARIO’s movie, mario as a character ends up more flawed (in the fleshed-out character sense) and needing to learn more than luigi does! it’s just WEIRD when mario has to learn all these lessons and be the better man and then luigi is just kinda. coasting? like no! no no! that man should be NEUROTIC!!! (and the icing on this cake is that mario’s dad is all “you’re holding your brother back” I FEEL LIKE IM IN BIZZARO WORLD. WHAT. WHY.)

- my fav version of him is paper luigi <3 he’s the closest thing we’ve had of a luigi who is able to start his respective series as the man in the shadows and then graduate into self-confidence. it’s not a perfect “arc” for him since the modern games don’t exactly follow up on SPM but i’ve always found it more interesting the way he’s positioned in the paper mario series. there’s not any room for him in your party so you see the most distinct divide between mario and luigi we’ve ever had aside from luigi’s mansion itself

- i want to see nintendo continue to try and figure out what they want to do with luigi in 3d marios. in 64 and sunshine he just wasn’t there (boooo), in galaxy he has probably the best compromise? being someone you run into in the overworld as well as being an unlockable character after getting every star, and odyssey has him doing balloon world. which is not really anywhere near the action but he is admittedly very cute with his balloons and bow tie. i feel like neither of these answers are the “true, cohesive 3d luigi experience” though. i hope they don’t give up on it.

Weekly Journal 1 : Highschool

Its is known to public that an SPM is once in a lifetime that everyone should experience. Who likes to be a high-schooler? SPM is an exam that will decided whether your highschool experience will be the best or the worst. SPM means you have to study and push yourself on books, number and calculator. The most subject that people avoided and being realistic with is math. My school is known for its cluster. Just like MRSM, students in my school fight for their life with exam result. If you get good grades, the teacher will praise and started to put high hopes whenever there is an exam. It is different otherwise. When the batch before get higher grades, our principle will push us to make sure we do better. It also appears that my school highs up softball games and 'Bahasa Melayu'. We receive many award because my school participate in lots of activities. In the early year, the SPM batch always participate in many programs. But after fasting month, the SPM batch will started to get busy and will have many extra classes. Usually it will likely happened in May. As a student that never achieve good grades, I find it hard to survive. I will be such a lie if I say I never have the thought to end my high school life early but that is what I miss the most. My most un favourite subject is history. I never find it interesting as I feel like ' why we need to look back at our ancestor stupidity in leading the country?'. I always got failed or maybe the lowest grades and it stressing my teacher out. But you know, people change. I see how my friends struggle and I keep asking advices from the school counselor. Its funny because Im actually a member of the school counselor. Back to the storyline, my friends keep saying that they feel bad for their parents who have struggled and it make me realized that if they can do it, why cant I? As a person who loves to do challenge it triggered me. Around three weeks before the exam I speed up my studies to revise all topics in the history subject. I almost forgot, there is actually another side story of my SPM journey. I took art in school and teachers don't put high expectation in students who take art. Trial start around October and art students were busy finishing our field work. I remember once, our Bahasa Melayu teacher were furious because we keep asking for the class to canceled or to change our timetable. For some reason, teachers don't like students who took art, maybe because they think that its just waste of study time and money. Although with all the chaos that is happening, I still get good grades and manage to maintain my pointer. From this, we can learn that not all students have the same pace and ability in study. It just take a right teacher to teach. Never underestimated those who always in the back beacuse sometimes their superiority will surpass your expectation.

underground room- also cool remix of the underground theme:) (skipping jingles be they're too short but all jingles are good)

an unrivaled battle - loooove the remix of the star power up too im just gonna be repeating myself this whole thing Imao maaaan imagine if during that one level in chapter 3 you really did have an epic showdown between mega you and the mega koopa lol

mount lineland- not as good as lineland road but i do come to think of mount lineland more than lineland road itself tho for some reason? hm it might be be lineland road is kinda short it's pretty much for exploring around and getting the flip ability from bestovius yold town is cool i wish there were more towns and more life in general in the other chapters like .., chapter 4 could've REALILY benefited from a space sociery there ... yeah kinda weird how yold town is really the only town in the game if you don't count flipside and fopside... if you go to the yold ruins watch out for the grit in your grunders

bitlands/ the open plane- it's a little forgettable for me but it is good i like the little mario jingle sprinkled in there yoink there goes tippi ... yknow tippi is never present during the dimentio fights? why i feel like that's an intentional choice but that's definitely suspicious. i think the only time you actually can get a reading on dimentio is when you're in that first mirror room and there's dimentio being an annoyance as you're trying not to fall down the pits but like during the actual fights tippi isn't there to scan him

nostalgic underground - looooove tbis remix of the underground theme definitely got the title name right

bowser battle - good theme and this fight is actually really good in chapter 7 bc it's actually hard even if you luigi it and you've powered up bowser but he isn't on your side at that moment lol but here the fight is ok and i love peach's shocked pikachu face the whole fight Imao

tile pool- love this remis of the original underwater themes... it's SO nice

big blooper appears - really love this one too it feels kinda silly sounding i love the instruments in chis one

outer space- SQUINGLES !! god this chapter reaaaaalllyyy needed a space society or soemtjing GOD chapter 4-2 and 4-3 are BAAAAD there's NORHING THERE like i had the idea of like .. squirps is the prince of squirptopia and so like what if he's a target what if there were some like raiders or soemtning trying to hunt him down or soemting and we have .. idk .. ANYTHING ugh this chapter is so lacking it's really sad

whoa zone is really cool tho it does indeed make you go 'whoa' when you get there ... this level in particular reeaaaallly goes with that digital theme i was talking about earlier ... man i was like blind with this level probably be of how it looked so i coudint figure it out for a while but i was SO00O EXCOTES RO SEE.

MR L GREEN THUNDER BAYBEEEEE !!!!! i love how slimy this theme feels .. putting aside the fun joke of not knowing who mr I is why did they use this theme when reuinting with luigi you coudlve used that one unused track for luigi's theme. ... like i get the identity is obvious but come on yknow what else is green thunder . fopside- flopside is ok i like that the fainter parts you codujrb hear as well on flipside's part are more prominent here it'd be funny if the residents were mean to you as an opposite to how the flipside residents are but tbh i don't actually know i didn't talk to the residents much ... i think nolrem and his lack of giving a shit is funny also really interesting how he and bleck are the last of the tribe of darkness ...

CHAPTER 5 -

gap of crag - 5-1 is so annoying uuugggghh as vinny vinesauce once said - 'criggly craggily croo- i hate these people' jasperoid only tell you if you say please 5 times 'fuck you' . it was a joyous day seeing the cragnons get erased in the ending too bad their stupid world came back this is definitely the part that starts bogging you down and makes the game not feel as fun anymore the gameplay is kind of tedious and this chapter does not do it any favours and you're just sort of wishing to hurry up and get the game over with be of the poor level design

foro sapien caverns is a cool theme ... still don't like the level much but it is better than 5-1 and 5-2

flint cragley cragtrotter this guy is kind of annoying but it's sort of funny but i feel he should've had more of a presence in this chapter he doesn't show up much and i feel like if he was in it jsit a little more it might not have been quite as tedious

truck GO - epic donkey kong country moment .. the thing in the background slapping the ground makes me think of ghetsis' theme in bw2 and im like 'combine this theme with ghetsis theme' and now ever since i thought that i can't hear this theme without imagining ghetsis smacking his staff against the ground angrily while busting an epic move lol

king croacus iv battle sounds so ????? woa ... had trouble with this fight be nothing seemed to work but i figured it out eventually EVEN AS I WILTI AM I AM BEAUTIFUL !!!

CHAPTER 6-

sammers kingdom - depression when you already know what happens ... it sounds so sad but it's such a bop i love how it's basically just a song consisting of silly sound effects and it sounds so good ? i love the level design even if other people don't .. i always imagined how sammers kingdom looked when i first heard of it but i hadn't seen it ... man...

battle time! - kind of sad when you go through each sammer guy and their intros get shorter and shorter as their world gets closer and closer to destruction from here's my whole life story to 'go to king sammer ! now!

im not nice- THIS THEME IS SO GOOD AUAUAUGGI TI TITTI i love the random boops in the bg ?!??? and champion of destruction shoukd realistically be here but for some reason it isn't in this place on the track lists ... bc THIS is where destruction begins .. and we see a confrontation between tippi and bleck and they begin to rmemeber eachother ...

castle bleck - i love this one so much ... i feel like the graphics weren't finished tho lol but there's some kind of charm to it .. it sounds so sad ... the theme and castle really reflect bleck's depression ... and the ticking clock leting you know you're running out of time ... and tippi upon seeing the castle itself being destroyed realising her lover intends to let himself die along with everything else and ... that moment when luigi fucking dies and tippi is like OH MY GOD NO LUIGI !!! OH MY GOD LUIGI !!!! LUIGIIIIII!!! and marios just like 'we must move on.'GOD AHHAGAAHVSAG

the evil count bleck 2- why does this theme have a nice little ✨sparkle✨ in the beginning ... depression hours getting chrough the castle was SO ANNOYING but getting to this part and everything else is endlessly worth it ... 'answer me , blumiere!' "you know the answer dear timpani ..."

closing batcle - depression </3 wait. oh my fucking god wait, IS THAT INSTRUMENT IJST NOTICED IN THE BAKGRIYHD.FUCKING.TIMPANI ?!??!???! brilliant i also like the uhh window wiper sounds ? or whatever that makes it feel like the castle is breaking

unused 1- come on this SOOOO sounds like it could've been luigi's theme in the underhwere ... hm i wonder what it was intended for? it definitely sounds like the mario bro's house theme so perhaps you were supposed to be able to walk around the mushroom kingdom a little more ? maybe you were supposed to go on a walk to bowsers castle? but yes gameplay wise that wouldn't work so i can understand if that was the case and that's why it was cut but it could've been reused as luigi's theme

unused 2- this sounds like it woudkve been the ending theme but scrapping it for having bounding through time again was definitely the correct decision
