When I experience physical attraction towards someone it feels like i got punched in the sternum and had the breath knocked out of me, like I can't breathe correctly. Some people (especially straight people imo) do only base their desire of being with a person on how closely they fit conventional beauty standards and don't actually pay attention to their body's physical reaction to them. I think a lot of people are actually on the aroace spectrum without realizing it because of amatonormativity and a lack of discussion of what physical attraction even is/feels like. I think I might be aromantic tho so I have no idea on the romantic side of things

this is insaneeeeeeeeeeeee WHAT do you MEAN it feels like being punched and u can't breathe properly- is that not an incredibly uncomfortable sensation. more confirmation ive never been attracted to someone. at most i think people are very cool/interesting looking and want to get to know them more. being attracted to someone based on their physical appearance is like, not real. that's wild to me.

anyway i DONT think most people are on the aroace spectrum cause idk. what does that even mean at that point. im more inclined to believe everything is kinda fluid but that also means SOME people are solidly NOT fluid. yeah but im sure a lotta people are aro/ace and just don't think about it cause it's not really presented as an option.
