I still struggle to gather all the divine warriors info together but I think shad was simply the force of nature - the matron, the light, he was the destroyer, the dark. she heals, he hurts. irene herself carefully chose shad to be the relic holder. i think it was enki/kulzak/esmund who betrayed shad and ultimately who drove irene to losing her emotions. shad in s3 regrets accepting immortality i think his wrath was justified

5. Do you think the Divine Warriors are gods or just humans with godlike powers? Are they humans who become gods?

☝️🤓the divine warriors were humans, but not normal humans. shad described himself and Irene as having been gifted with power from the gods. basically they are just magick-users (I would say high-class magicks, but there is no ranking system in the series)

7. Is Zane capable of redemption in some way in your eyes? What do you think his fate would have been?

this is litearlly where i thought season 3 was going and i was all for it!!! but then after his little "Urgh.. maybe i Shouldnt be torturing emmalyn after all the torture ive experienced myself" human moment he takes 30 steps back and burns down another stupid village. rip character development

10. Why do you think Zenix betrayed Phoenix Drop, was it the Calling? What would Zenix’s fate have been, and what would you have liked it to be? What do you think Garroth and his reunion would have been like?

urghhh im so SICK. So. here is my zenixbrain:

-zenix mirrors laurance a Lot. he just wasnt able to hold out as long as laurance was - he two ended up going down the same path in the end, as fate works.

-the calling was too strong for zenix. he tried killing the people he protected, garroth - that failed. aphmau - that also failed. i think his heart's goals and his shadow knight corrupted goals were interfering in his head. he wanted to kill/sacrifice garroth and aphmau for immortality, but he also wanted to kill garroth for (either his own protection assuming anyone can become a SK, or for.. idk dude lost his mind <3) and aphmau for being a lord -- lords and guardship is something he holds contempt for, since guards are meant to die for lords, and lords are widely perceived as lazy and greedy.

-Zenix at some point connects that the Shadow Lord... is a Lord. And he hates lords. and what he stood for and was against was hypocritical. So he goes fuck it im ballin' (GETS EXILED)

-garroth and zenix reunion would be like. time feels like it froze, theyre staring at each other, barely able to recognize them. it would be more like deer in headlights, theyre startled then they go back down their separate paths. all they gain is the relief and comfort they're alive, yet a little devastated that one day their paths will cross again and they will be on opposite sides. they wished the other had died, so the thought of piercing them with their own sword wouldn't be on their list of things to worry about.

-...............realistically it would be more like zenix doesnt give a fuck and garroth does the anime gasp like "Z-zenix?!" then jesson dedicates the rest of the runtime to aphmau talking over them. aphmau and her "ermm lets talk about that later" writing with zenix

12. What do you think would happen to the Shadow Knights after Shad is defeated? Would there be a difference between those that are immortal and those that aren’t?

i made a post about this but the shadow knights all have a brief period of clarity before all dying. heartless SKs like gene lose their personality and are confused and lost in their last few hours. corrupted SKs like sasha and zenix feel love and full clarity of their mind again. wiser shadow knights with control, vincent and vylad, can feel the weight off their chest and can find a quiet place to finish reading a book or write their last letter. however, laurance, the half-sk with no immortality, he gets very ill. he lives for just a few more years. :,(

For example, she would most likely focus more on the relationship between Aaron and Aphmau in her rewrite. Would this still be something worth seeing or have you grown content with the unfinished series?

however, he also has the worst luck when it comes to artifacts and almost never gets good artifacts at all but he kinda deserves it for all the 50/50s he won >:[

would definitely start rage killing hilichurls, abyss mages, samachurls or literally any enemy that decides to come his way after wasting all his resins on artifacts that he does NOT!! WANT!!

never allows the rest of the boys enter his world (ESPECIALLY JEONGHAN) because they always steal ascension materials that he is in need of.

but, he also has the AUDACITY to whine and sulk if the other members don't let him in their world.

all the children in the game (qiqi and maybe even nahida included) are his own children now idc (i may or may not be projecting here).

Day 1, 2, 23, idk of Gamer Zhongli

So @nyangorogoro030303 suggested: Ok another part to the Zhongli gamer AU because im SUCH A HUGE SIMP AHH. Ok sorry about that. How would Zhongli react when YN gets like a cut scene of her sacrificing smtg that she treasures A LOT for the sake of the city/his sake? Smtg like how Ninguang sacrificed the Jade Chamber, but far more valuble to YN. Smtg sentimental?

Ok so I see this being something that Y/N had gotten from a dead family member, let’s go with her grandfather, it’s a necklace that’s been in the family lineage for decades, so valuable because the pendant holds elemental energy enough to kill the entire Fatui army. Y/N’s grandfather was the one that trained her since she was so young to be a strong fighter, in this day and age with so many dangerous opponents and monsters, he had always prepared her mentally, physically, and spiritually to be a warrior.

Of course, she loves her grandpappy with her entire life, to which Zhongli found endearing, he loved seeing soft Y/N. But he died in an attack on their village, leaving her with the gift he had given. She kept it so dear to her and knew to never let it get into the wrong hands, god forbid she’d have to use it :(, she just wanted to make her grandfather proud, telling the story to anyone puts her in tears.

Well, spoke too soon. The Abyss Order now took sight of the ancient heirloom, deciding already that it would be theirs to keep once they can sense where the little jewelry is located. You felt uneasy, like you were being watched, so you gave Zhongli’s character the necklace, told him to keep it safe as best as he possibly could. Of course while keeping it safe, Zhongli found himself having to fight pesky abyss mages, that damned hydro abyss mage. He completed the challenge, and went back to your location to see you gone!

Paimon was suspicious and angry again, you had a knack for putting them in danger like this with something so precious. The pendant began glowing, they knew they had to run, the Abyss was locating it. This was their final recipe to rid of the human race, not a trace left back of them. It took a while, asking around to citizens of Liyue, but someone mentioned you left for Dragonspine, hoping your presence here in Liyue wouldn’t harm anyone. Zhongli was confused with you for a bit, why’d you leave him in danger?

You didn’t even know they were looking for the necklace, you thought it was you.

It took some puzzles and searching in Dragonspine to find you at the peak, staring out into space. “You worried Paimon, don’t run off like that again!” Paimon crossed her arms in complaint. “O-oh, I don’t think you’re quite safe around me, please go where... I won’t get you hurt Traveler.” No. Zhongli frowned, what about the friendship? Your eyes widened at what you saw at the base of the mountain, Abyss Mages? Great, you were just an enemy spawn.

“Y/N, it’s the pendant!” Paimon cried. “Oh! Of course!” But there was so many Abyss Mages, not what you both could handle together! They were trashing on Fatui left and right as you watched with eyes blown wide open and a slack jaw. “I have to stop this! Traveler.” Your eyes filled with tears, Zhongli hoped you weren’t about to do what he thought you would, skipping through some of the dialogue with an expression of disbelief. “I have to sacrifice it, it’s what they want, but there’s too many of them.” “Be a fighter! You can do this, your grandfather wouldn’t like you giving into this so soon!” He chose the dialogue choice to agree with Paimon, you can do this.

“I want to protect you, you mean too much to me- and everyone else. I’m going to give it up.”

Zhongli’s legs were kicking under his desk unknowingly, you cared about him that much?

Screenshots the moment you look into his eyes with a smile. Lovely but devastating.

He watches as you hold onto M/C’s hand, reaching for your pendant from his neck.

You held it to your chest, it lit up again as the energy released itself, the shockwave so bright and powerful.

Paimon almost got thrown all the way across Teyvat.

The camp at the base of the mountain was full of confused onlookers, just what in the world?

Chances are that what you said was slightly a love confession, at least he hoped?

The last surviving Abyss Mage breathed in and out harshly, before teleporting to the top.

It wasn’t to attack you, but a declaration of peace.

Zhongli was proud, be scared of Y/N, yes. But the pendant was way too overhyped, you agreed.

It wasn’t that powerful. God your grandfather could overexaggerate.

BNHA fic idea!! (tw: talk of suicide, depression, and bullying)

My brother recently got me into My Hero Academia, and while I was watching, I got an idea for an AU that I’m probably never going to have time to sit down and try writing. So if anyone sees this and thinks they’d like to give it a shot, go ahead! And feel free to let me know, because I would definitely read it :))

Shigaraki finds Midoriya when they’re both young, Shigaraki is maybe 10 years old, while Deku is about 5 or 6?

Deku is upset about being quirkless, maybe he had a particularly bad day at school with his bullies, idk

point is, Deku kind of reminds shiggy about himself, or maybe he just thinks All For One could use this small child and give it a quirk so that it will fight for them

Somehow Deku and All For One come into contact, (maybe shiggy tells him AFO has a quirk that grants wishes or smth and so deku doesn’t know they’re villains, idk) and AFO offers to give him a quirk. He asks Deku what kind of Quirk he would like, and Deku, being the adorable and oblivious kid that he is, goes, “I want a quirk like Kacchan’s!”

so AFO steals Bakugou’s newly developed quirk and gives it to Izuku.

this is the part I haven’t fully figured out, but somehow Bakugou and Deku grow up without coming into contact again. Deku doesn’t know he literally has KACCHAN’S quirk, he thinks he just has a replica. Maybe deku’s mom dies and he’s pretty much abducted by the LOV, maybe his mom just ends up moving him to a different school, idk

I’m going to go with the dead mom plot tho because why not.

So Deku grows up with the LOV. This is where you can vary depending on what makes sense to you, but I thought maybe AFO killed his mom and made it look like an accident that involved heroes, collateral damage, all that stuff. And it either taints Deku’s view of heroes or it just makes him want to work harder and be the kind of hero that his mom had needed.

im not sure which one would work better, but growing up with the league he either knows they’re villains, or doesn’t. (my brother suggested Deku thinks LOV stands for League of Vigilantes lol)

This entire time, Bakugou has been growing up quirkless. He had one, and then he lost it.

Because of this, his little gang of bullies turned on him. He learned to control his anger and not make threats he couldn’t go through with. All of that fury that he’s always targeted outward in canon is now bottled up, and its like he’s a whole other person.

Have fun with it. He’s your character to traumatize now :))

Possible plot point: Deku still wants to go to UA and become a hero. He takes the entrance exam and passes with flying colors. Shiggy doesn’t like it at first, but who’s going to turn down the chance to have your adopted little brother basically spy on your worst enemy for you?

maybe while he’s waiting for his UA acceptance letter, or after he got it, (he could be going out to celebrate with the LOV gang?) he runs into Bakugou in public.

I thought it would be interesting (and angsty) if Deku saved Bakugou either from a villain, or, my personal preference, trying to commit suicide. (maybe he tried to get into UA and didn’t make it? Maybe he had the run in with All Might instead of Deku and just got told he couldn’t be a hero? who knows.)

Deku doesn’t recognize Bakugou at first, but when he does, he’s devastated. Bakugou doesn’t call him Deku anymore, because why call someone useless if you’re on the same level as them, right?

Everything about how Bakugou acts feels wrong to Izuku. He and Bakugou end up catching up, mostly its just small talk and Deku explaining about his mom’s death or whatever, comforting Bakugou, (Bakugou hating it) and the works.

Eventually Deku finds out that Bakugou is quirkless, and he puts together the puzzle pieces, realizing that the quirk he worked so hard to make his own was never really his at all, and he basically got into his dream school using Bakugou’s quirk.

I never really thought of where the story might go from there, but I figured Deku would probably either swear off using the quirk, or demand AFO take it away and give it back to the right person. Stuff happens, tho idk what. Do with the story as you will.

anyway, this was just a little fic idea that I’m never going to write but needed to get out of my head. Of course, if a fic like this already exists, then I’d love to go check it out, so don’t be afraid to recommend stuff to me! I apologize for the poorly thought out plot and simply nonexistent resolution T - T Little note to anyone who might decide to try writing this: I honestly don’t care what ships you would prefer to use, or even if you chose to use any at all. My main interest is how Deku and Bakugou’s dynamic shifts in this AU, and which parts of their character remain the same, versus the parts heavily influenced by their environment :))

1. Hi Bye Mama

Genre: Fantasy, Drama

Plot:

Cha Yu-Ri (Kim Tae Hee) has been a ghost since she died 5 years ago. She left behind her husband Jo Kang-Hwa and their child. To become a human again, Cha Yu-Ri carries out a reincarnation project for 49 days.

Meanwhile, Jo Kang-Hwa (Lee Kyu-Hyung) works as a chest surgeon. He was loving, but, after his wife died, his personality changed. After 5 years, his wife Cha Yu-Ri reappears in front of him.

2. It’s Okay to Not be Okay

Plot:

A story about a man employed in a psychiatric ward and a woman, with an antisocial personality disorder, who is a popular writer of children’s books.

Moon Kang-Tae (Kim Soo-Hyun) works in a psychiatric ward. His job is to write down the patients’ conditions and deal with unexpected situations, like if patients fight or they run away. He only earns about 1.8 million won ($1,600 USD) a month. The woman (Seo Yea-Ji) is a popular writer of children’s literature, but she is extremely selfish, arrogant and rude.

3. Angel’s last Mission

Plot:

Kim Dan (Kim Myung-Soo) is an angel. He is also a troublemaker and also optimist. Lee Yeon-Seo (Shin Hye-Sun) is a ballerina who does not believe in lve.

Dan then receives a mission. If he succeeds, he can return to Heaven. His mission is to find true love for Yeon-Seo, but soon falls in love with her.

Later, Je-Hyeok receives a 1 year prison sentence for using excessive force. Devastated, Je-Hyeok must adapt to life in prison.

Meanwhile, Joon-Ho (Jung Kyoung-Ho) is a friend of Je-Hyeok and works in the prisonas an officer. He waits for Je-Hyeok’s arrival.

Jun Seol (Im Soo Jung) was a sniper. Now she has extremely variety expertise. She is a former Olympian hopeful, a veterinarian and a book lover who runs her own delivery service. She oscillates between extreme fandom and an anti-fan of Se Joo.

The intricately woven story of these three characters unfolds to reveal strange mirroring connections between the time periods as well as possibilities for past lives to be redeemed or improves in the modern world.

In the present day, Ji Eun-Tak is a high school student. She still sees ghosts and hears their whisper of “Dokkaebi’s bride.” She now lives with her aunt’s family, but she is mistreated by them. On her birthday, Ji Eun-Tak sits by the sea with a lighted birthday cake. At that time, Kim Shin suddenly appears in front of her. Kim Shin does not know why, but he can hear her voice and appears in front of her against his will. Coincidentally, Kim Shin lives with the Grim Reaper at the same house.

Now, Kim Shin appears in front of her against his will, whenever she turns off the lights. One day, Ji Eun-Tak tells him that he is Dokkaebi and she is his bride.

Oh boy. Here goes... Shingeki no Kyojin Final chapter (139) thoughts and analysis ✰

Well, where do I even begin to accumulate my thoughts on the final chapter of Shingeki no Kyojin? Even after some time to reflect and read the chapter many times, over and over - I’m still going to struggle to form this analysis. But, alas I shall try my best despite this.

I appreciate anyone who takes the time to read this and understand my own views of the final chapter. Proceed with caution - ⚠️ spoilers ahead ⚠️

This chapter and ending overall has left me with a love/hate relationship with the overall tale in full. I’d even go as far as saying it has tainted my view slightly of the entire series in one way or another and I will never look at it the same way I did - as much as I wish I could. My reasoning for the love/hate relationship I have will come, but, I want to start off by saying that despite it’s ending I will always appreciate this story and Isayama for his work, even if I myself don’t approve of his steering towards the ending.

It is just like I said in my theory, the thing we all need to recognise with this story is that the characters we love and have cherished, were never going to get exactly what they desired and if anything this chapter is a clear indication of that fact. It has been a story that was paved for a bitter, somewhat ‘bittersweet’ ending (yes, I hoped it wouldn’t be in the form of ‘that’, but it was). It is just as Mikasa said - “The world is cruel and merciless, but it is also beautiful”. This tale became the typical embodiment of humanity and how ruthless it can be.

Again, like I said in my theory, it was heavily foreshadowed that Eren was playing devil’s advocate and might have to sacrifice his freedom in this life to save the ones who meant the most to him. We heard hints in OST’s such as My War, Red Swan, Vogel Im Kafig, among others…

“Angel playing disguise with Devil’s face”

“I’ll cry for you in a dream”

“All of my kingdom, for your return, I’d let it burn!”

“Spread your wings, which are dreaded in blood”

“And eternity as you, fly to heaven”

“Like a fallen angel”

“Looking down from above I feel awful”

“Every living being dies someday, whether we are ready to die or not”

“Is that the angel who flew down from the twilight sky?”

“Is that the devil who crawled out from the crevice?”

“Tears, anger, compassion, cruelty, peace, chaos, faith, betrayal.”

It was foreshadowed, all of those things in the last example is humanity in a nutshell. The use of birds to symbolise the dead was shown on multiple occasions. Hell, even in the Levi ova, his friends are shown as 2 birds above him as he continues forward. It didn’t shock me that Eren’s soul was represented or “reincarnated” in the form of a bird - simply because birds are the most free creatures on our planet, they can fly over land, sea and maintain the air around them. Realistically, we should’ve analysed the birds presence more (it was even implied in the opening trailer for season 4. Falco awoke to a bird flying above him, we saw the bird present many times in even past seasons and don’t get me started on how many times it was present in the manga). Our Angel was Eren. He was a fallen angel - a slave to the story and what it means to be human, to feel deeply and make sacrifices. He was never a monster, just a pawn in a wicked game.

For a split moment of initial shock, I let the “judging a book by its cover” ideal kick in. After calming down and having access to proper translations, again I can’t say I love this ending or hate it - it has the bittersweet notion that was intended, but it was also lukewarm. It is not perfect by any means, there are some plot holes and loose ends that could have been tied up by extension. However, Isayama maybe intended for it to remain open for interpretation. Something of which, I’ll reveal what I personally took from the ending.

One thing I am surely certain of, is that I can hold my hands above my head and say this chapter 100% embodied my love for my favourite character - Eren Jaeger. He had such a tragic outcome, he did it all for his friends and loved ones. He was never free, not in life and partially not in death. He was a broken child, in a broken world with a broken fate of shouldering mass amounts of responsibility with no idea of how to change or control the past, present and future. To witness your best friend talking of all the things he was going to see, yet knowing you wouldn’t be there to see it yourself. To know the girl who was there for him forever and always, could never be his to cherish. He had no freedom to do so. To live the life he wanted to, he would have died anyway. If he had ran off with Mikasa, he would have damned his friends. The life he wanted was not feasible, therefore he chose to sacrifice his desires so his friends could live long lives, unlike the one he was damned to. He was a character who was torn along all sides of the coin. Torn between his desires, his duty and his self - all while experiencing memories from all angles. He was not a monster or a psychopath and I won’t let others spit on his name due to their lack of analysis and empathy. He is human. He is allowed to feel. He isn’t pathetic for wanting to live, for wanting to be with his friends or the girl he loves. He is 19. Can you really say you wouldn’t feel the same? It is natural to be frustrated at your life being ripped from under your feet at such a young age. He was damned if he did, damned if he didn’t. Look at his face in paths when he talks with Armin, he is devastated and he had no solution.

However, I do believe he will be reunited with his friends once more. After all, the scouts were reunited in death, so why shouldn’t he? His friends will not live in vain, his sacrifice will mean something. They will live their life to the fullest and find peace in life and then in death - they have Eren to thank for that. Another misconception I want to pick out of the fandom is that they did not condone genocide, they did not thank Eren for ridding the population of 80%. Armin states it as an “error”. What they did do, was acknowledge Eren’s sacrifice for them to live and that they understood it’s not what he wanted himself, but that due to unseen forces. - did he really have a choice? It is not by any means perfect, but it gives them freedom to live out with the walls - was this not Eren’s dream? To be free, not confined within the walls by Titans. He did exterminate all titans, that is one goal Eren Jaeger accomplished. We don’t know the full extent of the power of the attack titan or the founding titan, this is one of the open plot holes. Eren himself explains this, he himself has no clue and his head is a mess - is it any shock that his head is a mess? People would go crazy over less. He was a pawn in a story with no happy ending. At least not for him.

Even in the bird reincarnation theory, I hope he is happy and free. Free to roam the skies, perch upon the tallest mountains, titter along the grass banks of the world and watch over his comrades, his friends, the ones he loves deeply… The tragic protagonist I will always remember. (Especially as one who was done so dirty by his author)

There was so many routes this manga could have taken, fan theories proved this and I do think the ending could have been executed better. We were not getting a happy ending, it is not happy by all means. Those characters left have to live in the aftermath, aware of their friends sacrifice and all he had to put himself through for them to live the lives they themselves desired. My favourite quote will always be:

“Don’t pity the dead. Pity the living”

Mikasa lost her family in more ways than one, she has to live a life where she didn’t get the one person she desired more than anything, but I believe she will move on and Eren will be by her side the entire time until they are reunited in death. Levi is the same, he lost everyone and whoever his love may have been - Erwin, Hanji, Petra (who knows). Either way, he didn’t have those loved ones around in the end. But, he no longer has to fight for survival and can spend the remainder of his time resting until the day in the future he can be reunited with his comrades, friends and even kick Eren a big one, ruffle his hair, tell him its okay and tell him all the things he wanted to tell him like he said. Armin lost his best friend, he held the burden above his head that he himself killed Eren and not Mikasa. However, he has an abundance of friends, he has Annie and he can travel the world like he desired - like Mikasa, he will have Eren by his side for the remainder of his time.

Jean can meet the woman of his dreams and have the children like he desired, knowing that even in their silly quarrels - Eren was loyal to him always. Connie can have his mother back, his family and move on. Reiner can live, not die like he once desired and live on knowing of Eren’s sacrifice, that he wasn’t a monster himself. He is free from the curse, as is Annie, Pieck and Falco. The warriors have their families back. Gabi and Falco can be together unlike their comparisons, sad, but fitting. They are in Paradis, a place we never expected them to be in the end, advocating for change alongside Onyakapon looking after their elder, Levi, alongside them. On Eren’s death anniversary, it is implied they all return to his grave to be together, none of them are alone like we initially thought. Mikasa is not alone in Paradis since it is implied that Levi, Onyankapon, Gabi, Falco, Historia even… still live amidst the walls - I think it would be wasteful to assume such a strong character secludes herself after the love of her life’s death. She does not have to love another man, she can choose to live her life for herself, a long one alongside her friends. This manga has never necessarily needed to have love stories, they are implied, but not needed. For life itself is the embodiment of their freedom.

This above is the rosy way of looking at it and it’s what I personally will take from it. I overall think it is terrible writing and use of dialogue - there’s no denying it. I myself as a writer and artist would have done it differently. Isayama has created a manga with a tragic story that reveals the raw, tainted feeling of what it’s like to be human. We all want things, we all have desires…but we don’t always get them, no matter how hard we try, some will slip from our grasps. That is life, no matter the universe. Yes. But, I do think in ways Isayama did taint and obliterate Eren as a character. This I am disappointed in. It is a typical author ideal of damning his protagonist and the sad thing about being a stories protagonist - you risk being ruined due to being written so complex initially that the author loses sight of how to conclude your arc respectfully. I believe from what we have been shown, he would not have accepted his death that easily and would fight for another way. Although, I cannot blame him as I myself would have felt defeated, suicidal and depressed at learning everything he did after his contact with Historia at such a young age. Remember, how you are brought up in an already cruel world is key - he didn’t stand a chance. But alas, I still feel he would’ve fought. This Eren is not the Eren we saw the majority of the manga, but then again he did change and I feel so sorry that the Titan power had that effect on him.

This is the character development true Eren stans are enraged with. TATAKAE! Fight the attack titan, fight the founding titan, fight against your cruel fate - don’t succumb to defeat. There is always another way. I don’t accept this version of Eren, due to the development we saw built by Isayama of his character, I can’t. It leaves so many gaps among other plot reveals. I don’t see what was accomplished. Eren’s being, his life, was a ploy to keep the other characters we care about alive, but at what cost ? If I was Eren’s friend, I would go forward like he wanted me to, but I could never forget the burden he bared and what he had to go through and what he did to achieve that outcome for me. I would forever be sad. I would be living in a world much like this one, lacking in peace and serenity and above all is that not what we all desire in one way or another? He did not necessarily know the Dina titan would go for his mother, but he had to direct it away from Bertholdt since in the timeline it was not his time to die. Always remember the theory of time, one thing changed, drastically changes the outcome. He did not want civilians or people within Paradis to die, it became collateral damage and no one would be able to fight for some time because of the 80% notion. He gave them time to live, time to change things to the best of their abilities and experience all they possibly could. They became the ‘heroes’, but again, at what cost?

Now, to the plot holes and answers I feel needed to be present for the story to knit together in a better way. This will be less “paragraph” based and more pointed, since…well these things were not explained. Majority of potential foreshadowing was swept under the rug like it meant nothing to bring about the lukewarm feeling I was talking about.

The alien like hallucigenia, what exactly was its purpose? It’s reason for being? It disappeared and ceased to exist. No mention of how it came to be. Even Ymir just vanished. Everything ceased to exist and Eren himself couldn’t understand Ymir’s reasoning other than being able to witness love. This seemed to be cop out on Isayama’s part.

Historia’s pregnancy was heavily implied and emphasised on within the manga, making readers think it meant something (when a creator zones in on these things, its usually for further plot reveal) Her character development was destroyed and she deserved better. She sidelined herself and stayed away till the final moment where it is implied she and Armin will become the negotiators of a new world, all while housing tyrants (Jaegerists). Again a further implication of Shonen manga and its poor interpretation of women.

The conclusion to Ymir and Eren’s particular character arcs was shocking and this can’t be dismissed. We needed both their sides of things to explain more. It lacked real conclusion and didn’t match up to past events or character development. This chapter should have purely been an Eren POV with the ending moments of how the scouts moved on. Of course this couldn’t have been done in 1 chapter, hence the recognition that this manga needed ‘more’ and it wasn’t enough to tie it all together. Another flaw in Isayama’s writing and continuity.

The Ackermans? Don’t get me started. My theory again will entail my rage about this one. Did the Ackerman power cease to exist like the titan curse? What is their origin story? To imply the Ackerman blood concept in all its parallels and foreshadowing to not even have the 2 remaining characters from said bloodline talk about their shared experience in thorough detail is such an abysmal hole in plot. Especially with it being heavily emphasised throughout the entire manga.

I barely saw any signs of Eren being in love with Mikasa? If this was the case, then it should have been shown in the manga and emphasised like isayama did with many other things that eventually had no meaning. I always viewed their relationship as very toxic to both sides and needed amending. So for Eren to suddenly turn round and say he doesn’t want her to be with another man....I find this a very bad continuation and completely disregards how Eren has been the past 138 chapters. Why was it so hard for him to say these things even before he made contact with historia and unravelled it all? Was it the power of the attack titan preventing him?.... (below)

The attack titan and founding titan, explain how it works. Why does Eren himself not fully understand yet he embodies them? Why could he not have flipped the switch? Why could he not ask for help? Explanation is needed.

All the time loop links diminished to nothing other than Eren’s past, present and future…yet its implied in many characters even in their childhoods mentions of things they could not be aware of. How can it merely be coincidence?

I wholeheartedly believe that this was not the initial ending of Shingeki no Kyojin, specifically because I and a few others I’ve seen noticed the shift in the story around 10 or so chapters ago. It seemed to be going in the route of a few particular fan theories and then suddenly (quite drastically I’ll add) shifted into this ending. I can only theorise that Isayama changed his original ending along the way to please editors and readers in different ways. In interviews past, he has completely contradicted things he has said about the manga and its ending with what he has produced in the final chapter. When you look at it from a marketing point of view as a selling point, if Isayama had killed certain characters like “Levi” for example or left the ending dark as it possibly could have been (something I wouldn’t have put past yams to do) it would be bad from a marketing point given the likes of Levi is the targeted favourite of the series (even with being a side character) and editors would heavily warn him of this.

People are saying that it’s Isayama’s story and editors won’t have influence - you’d be heavily surprised how much the editing team can have influence, especially when a story of this magnitude becomes so popular. I do think in ways, Isayama gave up. As an artist even myself, its very abundantly clear when a fellow creative loses drive and how the concept of something becoming popular can influence you to become bored and look for a way out. Hence, the clear signs of the story coming out as rushed, its all there, the loss of continuity, the holes in plot and even though Isayama’s art can be inconsistently coherent - some parts of the past few chapters weren’t at the full potential we saw previously. We watched him get better to suddenly somehow revert? That to me seems like a creator who had just had enough and maybe in the end chose to veer off his original plan.

Alas! As I said, I will always love Shingeki no Kyojin despite its ending and loose ties, it holds a place in my heart and has been a favourite of mine since my school days. Being an adult now In her 20’s and experiencing the many troubles of what its like to be human and a creative can sympathise with the struggles and stress Isayama would have been under all these years as his manga gradually became the phenomenon it is now. As it is our favourite characters time to rest and move on, it is his also. Although the story is not where I and many others hoped it would go, I still thank him massively for giving me characters like Eren Jaeger, Levi Ackerman, Mikasa Ackerman, Armin Arlert… the list goes on. Thank you for embodying why Eren was my first and last favourite character. Goodbye Shingeki no Kyojin.

an: jesus lmao im so sorry this is up late today, i almost had it done last night but wasn’t feeling too hot so i went to bed. but this.. oo man i love this part. we get to meet a new sith character, anakin comes clean about something, and things get..well..haha you’ll see :)

Anakin looked at his Master with a worried look, and Obi-Wan didn’t quite know what to say to him at that moment. His arm was still raised as your voice cut out, and something twisted in his stomach. He looked to the Ivey cave entrance you had disappeared into and tried calling your name through the comm. But there was no answer.

“I’m going in,” he told Obi-Wan. He lowered his arm and Obi-Wan took a step towards him.

“Anakin you know we can’t interfere in this matter—“

“If there’s a Sith in there she could be hurt, or worse killed,” he said back quickly. He looked at him on his side and Obi-Wan pursed his lips.

“I’ll have Rex call for backup,” he stated, and Anakin looked back to the cave, “but the Chancellor will have to be notified of this. And of her.”

Anakin looked down to his feet for a moment, and then back to his Master, and offered a shrug, “The Council couldn’t hide her forever.”

The comm on your wrist glowed green, but you chose to ignore it as you stared at the man across from you. He watched your fingers wiggle at your side, and looked back up to meet your gaze.

“What’s your name?” He asked you simply. You looked him up and down, the breaths you both released letting out noticeable vapor. You could indulge him a bit, and maybe try to get some answers of your own.

“My name is (Y/N),” you paused when he nodded, “and you are?”

“I go by Dash,” he answered smuggly, his overconfidence oozed off him and made your skin crawl more than the cold did, “my Master gifted me this name.”

“Gifted,” you chuckled a bit to yourself, “that’s some gift then.”

His smirk fell and eyebrows narrowed a bit at you. What he gave off now was irritance, but that was good for you. You could easily push his buttons.

“Are you a Jedi?” he asked. He spoke perfectly, a slight accent you couldn’t place, and you nodded at him.

“Are you a Sith?” you questioned back.

He smiled wickedly at you, glancing at the lightsaber on your hip, “Beautiful craftsmanship.”

“Thanks,” you replied, “works as good as it looks.”

“I have no doubt of that,” he said, and began to walk back and forth slowly, “I know that the only Jedi who come here are simply Padawans,” he looked at you, “but you’re too old to be a Padawan and too. . . simple to be a Jedi Master.”

You shrugged, “And you feel too weak to actually think you’re Count Dooku’s, padawan,” you paused, “but I guess the apple doesn’t fall from the tree.”

“Count Dooku is more powerful than your Jedi will ever be,” he spat at you, “the real weak ones are those who don’t see the truth. The Dark Side is the only answer.”

“I’m not here to argue with you whether you think you’re right or not,” you replied. He stopped in his tracks, and moved his long robe behind him.

“Then what are you here for?”

You nodded behind him, “I can’t let you leave with those kyber crystals.”

He chuckled, “Let me? I wasn’t asking for permission.”

“See, that’s the problem with some of you Sith,” your fingers grazed the hilt of your lightsaber, “you take things that don’t belong to you just because you think you can.”

You could see anger rise in his chest as he took a power stance against you, and he grinned, “You have no idea what we are capable of,” his hand gripped his lightsaber and pulled it from his hip, “the weapon we are creating will devastate your Order. And the Republic with it.”

“So that’s why you’re here,” you straightened, “you’re building a weapon with the kyber crystals.”

“What--”

You smiled, “Thank you for that.”

Before he could reply you extended your arms, force shoving him backwards. He landed several feet from where he stood and slid against the ice. You turned your back to him and bolted to the gap you crossed, and jumped across it. His yell echoed around the ice, vibrating under your feet as you ran back the way you came. As you lifted your wrist back up, the comm started to play from the other end.

“(Y/N), come in! Now!” Anakin’s voice rang.

“I’m here,” you breathed and rounded a corner.

“I’m closing in on your location, just hold on,” his voice said again.

Suddenly, the ice beneath you caved in and you yelped. The new hole under your feet had opened up to an icey tube, which you fell down in a rush. You turned a corner one way and then another before the tube flattened out into an open cave. You spun and slid across the surface for a moment until your back collided into a solid icey rock, which knocked the wind out of you. You sat there for a moment to collect yourself, but the impact made your head feel fuzzy. The image of someone sliding down the same iced tube was all you could focus on.

Just as you were going to call out Anakin’s name, your lightsaber flew from your hip. You blinked, trying to clear your vision and saw Dash instead, holding your lightsaber in his hand. He chuckled and you pushed yourself off the ground, one foot in front of the other as you blinked him into focus.

“Pathetic,” he smiled, looking over your hilt, “but this will be a trophy of my first Jedi kill.”

You flexed your hand out, palm open and your lightsaber flew from his grip and back into yours. He glared at you and ignited his weapon, a red beam igniting the area. Before you could ignite yours, a figure dropped in front of you, which made Dash freeze. You faced Anakin’s back, but the surprise from Dash’s body made you grin.

“Anakin Skywalker,” he voiced, turning his lightsaber behind him, “I should’ve known this scum was with you.”

You moved to Anakin’s side, and he glanced at you for a moment. There were no noticeable wounds on you and he looked back to the Sith in front of him, and waved his hand.

“Why don’t we make this easy for the both of us? Surrender now, and you won’t get hurt,” Anakin offered. You looked at him and his eyes darted to you for a moment, and you smiled and shook your head.

“You’re not as funny as you think, Skywalker,” Dash replied. Anakin shrugged and pulled his lightsaber from his hip.

“Don’t say I didn’t warn you,” he said and ignited his own blue lightsaber. Just as you were about to do the same, he extended his free arm before you, and moved you behind him. Before you could protest, Dash charged forward towards you both, and Anakin rushed to meet him halfway.

Dash attacked first, swinging his red saber towards Anakin, who dodged and blocked each of his swings. Their lightsabers clashed together, Dash pressed into Anakin, and Anakin pushed him backwards a step, before their lightsabers disconnected. Suddenly, Dash leapt into the air, behind you both, his lightsaber coming down to lunge into Anakin, but it got caught by something else. Anakin spun around and was faced opposite you now, your lightsaber clashed against the red.

The white saber made him hesitate, but your focused eyes were trained on Dash. You took a couple steps forward, and forced him to back towards the open cave. Anakin looked past the fight and saw droids coming from where he guessed they were extracting the crystals. Dash was forced to back up a few steps, closer to where the droids were lining up, and he shoved his lightsaber harder into yours, which sent you back towards Anakin.

Dash grinned at you two, and turned to run towards the ships. You ended up beside Anakin again, and he looked from the incoming number of droids to you.

“Are you alright?” He asked.

“I’m fine,” you nodded to the droids, “what do we do about these guys?”

“We fight,” he answered, twirling his lightsaber and gripping it in his hand while his other lifted his comm link to his face, “are you planning on joining us anytime soon, Master?”

“I’m working on it,” his voice said back. You gripped your lightsaber in your hand as the droids moved in closer, and they began to fire their blasters. Both of your stances changes as you deflected blast after blast that came your way. Some of the ones you reflected back managed to knock a few droids down, but by your estimate there were still 3 dozen left.

“This wasn’t how I imagined this mission going,” you called out over the blaster fire. The line of droids neared Anakin and you, and he glanced your way.

“How did you imagine this going?” He asked.

“Well,” you paused as one blaster fire ricocheted off your lightsaber and into the droid nearest you, “you know. Casual walk through this ice cave, maybe face some kind of obstacle like my fears or something. I guess what they say about you two is right.”

“What’s that supposed to mean?” Anakin called out.

Before you could answer, the droids had closed in enough that Anakin moved to start attacking them. You mirrored his movements and began to slash through the hunks of metal easily. One dozen down, then two. Only a few were left standing as you both worked your way through the crows of droids, until the roar of the Separatists freighters shook the ground. You swayed a bit and lost your balance for a moment. You didn’t hear the droid come up behind you, and when you turned too late to look at Anakin the droid disintegrated in front of your eyes. Behind it was Master Kenobi, and Anakin rushed over to you two.

“Nice of you to finally join us, Master,” Anakin joked, the group of three turning their lightsabers off.

“I figured you could handle a squadron of droids on your own,” Obi-Wan replied, then averted his attention to the large freighters pulling off from the ground. This cave had opened up to the sky, and the two freighters looked to be slowed by the weight they carried.

“What do we do?” You asked, and looked to Obi-Wan. Anakin did the same, and his Master sighed.

“Unfortunately, there isn’t nothing we can do,” he looked back to the freighters, “we must report back to the Council.”

Obi-Wan began to walk away, and Anakin looked at you. Your eyes followed Obi-Wan before you looked back to Anakin, who offered you a sad smile, and placed a hand on your shoulder briefly. He began to walk away too, but you didn’t move. You squeezed your fist a bit as you debated your next action.

“I’m sorry Master Kenobi,” you suddenly said. Obi-Wan and Anakin both turned to look at you, but your back still faced them.

“Sorry for what, exactly?” Obi-Wan asked. You shifted your feet to look at them, and shrugged your shoulders lightly.

“For the fact I’m about to disobey your orders,” you replied, and turned back to the freighters. Before Obi-Wan could question you further you ran off. Right towards the freighters. Anakin grinned as his Master tried to find his words. Your feet pushed against the snow covered ice until you were closer to the other side where the freighters once were. You squinted into the sky and slowed your breaths before extending your hand forward and closing your eyes.

The sound of metal filled the air, and the two Jedi looked into the sky. One of the freighters looked to be pulled back, and Anakin could see the engines struggled to pull forward. He smiled to himself.

“What is she doing?!” Obi-Wan asked feverishly. Anakin looked at his Master and jogged backwards.

“The right thing!” He called. Anakin turned and sped off behind you. He occasionally glanced up at the freighter that hadn’t really moved since he heard that metal sound. He slowed his steps as he got closer and extended his arm forward and focused on the large freighter. His power with yours started to pull the freighter back towards the ground, and Anakin ended up right by your side, and your eyes fluttered open to glance at him. He offered a smile at you, and you chuckled a bit before looking back to the freighter.

The Force between the two of you felt like it twirled together and worked to pull the freighter back. The more you concentrated the more you felt Anakin’s pull. It was like your two connections danced together, but his felt more controlling. The freighter wasn’t moving much more back to the ground then before, not until someone else stood by your side. Anakin and you glanced to your left side at Obi-Wan, who was also focused on the freighter.

“Don’t lose your focus,” he said. Anakin held back a laugh while you smiled. Now, with the three of you, the Force you used was stronger. The freighter let out a cry from the pressure, coming backward towards them. The three staggered backwards and continued that struggle until the engines had had enough. Smoke began to come from it, and it began to fall on its own. As it crashed against the ground, the three of you held your arms up to block the shock wave of wind it sent towards you.

When the smoke cleared, and a Republic ship arrived at Illum, they were able to recover a large amount of kyber crystals. Unfortunate for the three of you, you had the Council to answer to back on Coruscant. As you stood in the Council chambers, Anakin by your side and Obi-Wan on his other, you listened to several Masters argue back and forth.

“What do they need kyber crystals for?”

“Now that the Chancellor is aware of her-“

“What are the Separatists planning?”

While they were talking over one another, you shifted your weight from one foot to the next, and glanced sideways at Anakin. He did the same, and lightly shrugged his shoulders. He just wanted you to relax.

“Calm, we must be,” Master Yoda finally said. The Jedi in the room were silenced almost immediately, and relaxed into their chairs. He looked at Anakin and you and motioned his hand around.

“If true this news is, we must inform the Chancellor,” he said, and stood from his seat. The cane he used he placed in front of him, and nodded, “speak with him I will. For now, rest you must get.”

The three of you nodded, but he wasn’t done speaking.

“Master Kenobi, if you can join me, hm?” He asked. Anakin and you glanced at Obi-Wan but he nodded in agreement. With one final bow, the two of you left the chambers, and you released the tension you held in your shoulders. Anakin watched on, and placed a hand on your arm.

“Are you alright?” He asked.

You nodded, though that fuzzy feeling entered your head once more, “I’m fine, think I hit my head after the ice caved it, but nothing to worry about.”

“I don’t know,” he said, glancing over your frame, “maybe we should get you checked out. Y’know, just in case.”

“Ani, I’m fine,” you tried to reassure him.

A mild concussion. When Anakin was able to drag you down to medical, and the droid said that out loud you fared at the object. Anakin though, was thrilled he was right, and had a smug look on his face, while you just sat there and glared.

“So what does that mean?” He asked, laughter evident in his voice and it took all of the strength in you not to smack his arm.

“The patient just needs to rest for now, any exertion or stressful interactions should be avoided for the next 24 hours at most,” it said, and you grumbled a bit.

“We can make sure she avoids exertion,” Anakin said and nodded his thanks. He helped you off the table and you mumbled a thank you as well. But as soon as you both exited the medical bay he laughed.

“Anakin, you are the definition of stressful interactions,” you said, which only made him chuckle more.

“You just hate to be proven wrong,” he smiled.

“That’s not what we’re talking about here.”

Anakin’s smile made your heart ache. The way his eye twinkled when he laughed, that happiness that radiated off of him made you smile too. He was also the walking definition of attraction, and being in his presence just made you happy.

Of course, that happy grin of his seemed to disappear as he looked behind you. As you noticed, you turned around to see the same Senator from before. You looked back at Anakin who had gone almost completely stone faced, and raised a brow at him.

“Anakin?” You asked. His eyes averted from the incoming woman and looked down at you.

“What?” He asked. His voice was deeper and sharper. You frowned at him.

“What’s going on?” You asked.

“Nothing,” he cut you off, before the woman was near, “Senator Amidala.”

“Padawan Skywalker,” she greeted with a soft smile on her face. You looked back at Anakin, who tried to show no emotion. But you saw through it. He was nervous.

“I just heard about what happened on Illum,” she said sweetly, and glanced at you for a moment, “the Chancellor has asked me to check in on you and Master Kenobi and,” she paused when her eyes landed on you, “I’m sorry I don’t know your name. Padawan..?”

“(Y/N),” you answered, “just (Y/N).”

“Pleasure to meet you,” she smiled. You nodded.

“Pleasure’s mine, Senator.”

She looked back at Anakin, “Do you have a moment?”

Before he could answer, you cleared your throat, “Yes he does. I was just returning to my quarters,” you glanced at Anakin who looked to clench his jaw but you nodded again at the Senator, “it was nice to meet you.”

You couldn’t get out of there fast enough. That tension you felt from the both of them made you uncomfortable. You just had an inkling that something was going on. The way she looked at him reminded you of, well, that way you looked at him. As you returned to your apartment, or quarters, you felt light in your head. What it meant you weren’t sure but the tears that stung your eyes were of something you couldn’t admit to yourself.

As you stripped from your clothing and went to the refresher, you stayed in it as long as you could. The hot steam washed away that days icey touch and the goosebumps on your body. You don’t know how long you were in there but when the temperature started to drop you turned it off and stepped out. The steam in the room covered the mirror, but the towel you grabbed you easily wiped it off before wrapping yourself up in the fabric.

The things that had filled your mind were that of jealousy, sadness, and resentment. As much as you tried to clear your mind it wasn’t working. Instead, through the steam that was rebuilding on the mirror you looked at yourself. You pondered the thought of what Anakin thought when he looked at you. Sometimes you could’ve sworn he looked at you like when he saw you for the first time on that Republic carrier. It made your cheeks hot to think of when he had seen you just awhile ago in this very situation.

But you cleared those thoughts from your mind. Just thinking of it made you feel uncertain. You carefully stepped into the bedroom and glanced into the open living area. Part of you hoped Anakin was there, but then seeing he wasn’t made the other part relax. You grabbed a soft silky sleeping gown and removed the towel from your body, and let that silky texture cover you. It didn’t take you long before you hung your towel back in the bathroom, and your arm began to shake. Maybe today really had taken its toll.

You pulled the blankets on the bed back and slid under them, resting on your back as you tried to relax. Your heart beat hard in your chest, enough to where you could feel it in your ears. You closed your eyes and tried to welcome the darkness of sleep. It wasn’t long before you heard the light beeping at the door.

Your eyes opened slowly as you forced yourself back up to your feet. Carefully you walked to the front door and paused before it. You didn’t need to open it to know who stood behind it. Your hand hovered over the control panel for a moment before it fell on top of it and the door whisked open. Your arms stayed on the wall, and you looked up at the face on the other side.

Anakin stood there and looked at you with kind eyes. You couldn’t help but smile softly at him, even in the darkness. You took a step aside and he came in.

“You didn’t have to rush off,” he said carefully.

You removed your hand from the panel and the door closed and locked behind him. You looked at him and shrugged.

“Honestly, Anakin. . . When she’s around something shifts in your behavior.”

He sighed, “I know.”

You crossed your arms, the space between you two was a comfortable amount, by the pressure in the room wasn’t, “So. . . What is it?”

“We uh,” he rubbed his face, “we used to be together, Padme and I. The Senator, I mean. But, not. . . Anymore.”

You nodded, that heavy feeling lifted off your shoulders, “I see.”

He shook his head, “I’m sorry I shouldn’t have said that, I know it isn’t the Jedi way.”

“Well,” you looked at him and smiled a bit, “I’m not a Jedi, remember.”

He chuckled a bit but it felt forced, you took a few steps over to him and grabbed his hands in yours, “Ani, I understand. If you’re worried I’ll tell anyone, I won’t.”

He looked down at you, and in the darkness his blue eyes looked deeper. His fingers threaded with your just a little bit before he pulled them away gently.

“Thank you, I-I’m sorry if I woke you,” he said quickly, moving to the side like he was going to leave.

“You didn’t,” you said rather fast, which made him stop in his tracks, “can you. . . Stay actually? I’m not feeling that great.”

He slowly nodded and you extended your hand out to him. He looked from your face to your hand before taking it in his. You led him towards the bedroom, before releasing his hand and moved to the side of the bed you originally laid on. He hesitated, but only because you glanced back at him. He had removed his robe and held it when your eyes met his, and you giggled softly.

“Sorry,” you mumbled and turned your back to him to face the window over the bed.

Anakin smiled to himself and folded his robe neatly to place on the chair in the room. While he undressed, his eyes didn’t leave you. He looked over your back, from your shoulders down past your soft folds and over your arms. You were breathtaking in the moonlight. He removed his boots and placed them gently on the floor in a soft thud, his belt was next and he placed it next to his robe, and then finally came his shirt. He pulled it over his head and folded it neatly on top of his robe. But, he glanced down at his gloves, and then back at your back.

“Ani, can I turn around now?” You asked him.

He kept them on, and cleared his throat, placing his hands behind him. You took that as a yes and turned around. You glanced at him for a moment before you got into the bed and under the covers, but sat up and stared at him.

He was broad and toned, even you could see that in the darkness. But the way he stood made you raise a brow at him, “Are you okay?”

“I’m fine,” he said and walked to the opposite side of the bed. He hid his arms from you, but when he pulled back the covers you noticed the gloves still covering him. One went up his forearm, and the other stopped at his wrist. He carefully placed him a fair distance from you and put his arms in his lap. You looked from his hands to his face.

“Anakin,” you carefully said, and he just said a light mhm, “why are you still wearing your gloves?”

He was silent for a moment, and his head fell slightly. You frowned, inching a bit closer to him.

“I’m. . . Ashamed.” He answered. You shook your head.

“Why?”

“Because I don’t want you to see me like this,” he said. You watched him speak and the hesitation that lingered in his voice. You looked at his hands once more, and carefully pushed yourself up on your knees to face him. His head whipped to you as you moved, but he froze when you grabbed his hand, the one barely covered. Your fingers worked on removing the black cloth, and his hand was exposed to you, but that wasn’t the one that worried him. When you slowly grabbed his other arm, his free hand suddenly grabbed your wrist. You froze and met his gaze. But his grip was loose and welcoming, and you carefully began to peel the glove from this arm.

The metal that met your sight made you slowly near his automatic fingers, but you placed the gloves to the side either way. Your fingers ghosted over the metal palm, and you shook your head.

“How did it happen?” You asked quietly. Anakin was taken back by the way you graciously and softly handled his metal arm. You hovered over him in a way that made his mind feel cloudy.

“I thought I was stronger than I was,” he paused as you nodded, “I was foolish.”

You looked up and met his eyes after he finished, and smiled sadly at him. You carefully grabbed both hands in your and held them close to your lap.

“Can I show you something?” You asked him.

“Of course,” he whispered. The distance between you two had closed significantly, but you released his hands and turned from him, still resting on your legs. He whatcha as your back faced him and your arm snaked out of your dress. He sat up straighter, seeing the fabric fall to your hips as your hands went to cover your breasts with the blanket on the other side.

You looked over your shoulder at him, and Anakin edged closer to you. Your back was illuminated by the moonlight, and the image before him made his stomach drop. Cuts and lashes covered your back, leaving scars scattered across your perfect skin. He didn’t realize it as he used his hands to trace over the little and bigger marks over your back, but the way your skin tingled under his touch made something in his core harden. He was close enough to where his breath hit the nape of your neck, and shot goosebumps down your arms.

“These scars tell a story about us,” you whispered, turning your head slightly, Anakin’s face was near yours, hovering just above your shoulder, “it’s nothing to be ashamed about.”

His lips were close enough to kiss. The way his hands trailed over your back made your thighs press together under the dress. The look in his eyes made you want to just drop the blanket and turn to him right there. Right now. But you looked down for a moment, and Anakin let his eyes wander over you in secret. Your dress laid at your hips and he could see your chest lift and fall with your breathing. All that stood between him was your hands, and he could quickly pin those above you.

You moved first and shifted yourself slightly to alleviate the throb between your legs, and Anakin moved back a bit to grasp the sleeves of your dress in his hands. You let him pull the dress up, his fingers gilded over the sides of your body and made you shiver. Anakin grinned a bit to himself as you carefully pushed your arms through the dress. Now fully covered you moved so that you faced him. Anakin was inches from you, his hand still ghosted over your arm closest to him. Your eyes locked for a moment, and it was enough for him to retract himself from you.

“We should rest,” he said quietly, and you watched as he laid down on his back, just flat against the bed. Silently, you laid down as well, and curled onto your side away from him.

“Goodnight, Anakin,” you whispered.

It didn’t take you long to fall asleep, but Anakin stayed wide awake. He laid there with one arm under his head and one by his side. Beside him you slept and he listened to you breathe evenly. His mind raced at the thought of what happened just earlier, the feeling he wanted to act on. He didn’t know what it meant, and he knew he couldn’t act on it--

You shifted next to him and his thoughts froze. He watched as you rolled over to him, past his arm, and into his side. He had to lift his arm before you impacted and he held it there for a moment as he tried to gauge what to do. But it was instinct. He wrapped his arm around you and pulled you closer, and that’s when he finally fell asleep. He was at peace.

Another reason people probably didnt like Symphonia their first time but later loved it is because of the themes and undertones. Here is another essay that's going to be a very quick Symphonia walkthrough as a young child playing.

Here's a warning: I mention some stuff that happens in Symphonia. It will be mostly vague but there will be mention of death. There also might be some spoilers in here but nothing too serious, just some of the beginning story more than likely.

Let me begin by saying the box art looks pretty cool for the Gamecube but the front and back does look like a very, very young child's RPG. It seems like an RPG that was creates for super young children that havent hit there teens or are in the very first years of being a teen.

I'm about to give a quick walkthrough as if I am a very young kid playing Symphonia for the first time. This is to show why a lot of people had this as their first game in the series but didnt like it. Why a lot of people weren't the biggest fans until their second playthrough or when they gave it another chance and realized it is absolutely stunning. A top 10 game of all time across every platform created.

First off, there was a lot of adult themes and tones in Symphonia. Obviously, I dont mean nudity or sexually explicit material. I'm talking about the Desian Camps. The idea that millions of people are being captured, put to work, then put to death or letting them die. These type of adult themes.

The first time we played, we were young. We didnt get choked up or super sentimental about what was going on in video games. We didn't care so much about the parallels between real life and our video games. Usually, we just wanted something fun to play. I mentioned it earlier but the start of Symphonia looks super childish and like it's going to be a lighthearted adventure. You have a cast of kids (2 very young adults that added comedy and badassness). A majority of the beginning fights are snakes, birds, bunnies, and bears. The battle system is fun but also easy enough to get the hang of. You can honestly button mash with the occasional arte and not worry about combos . You didnt have to worry about combos at all, really, and just use artes when you wanted. Some of the artes were pretty cool looking and strong too which added more of a "wow, the combat system is cool. There's attacks and a bunch of power attacks you can use. You can also move around and dont have to wait like a turn base game." It's also possible to just button mash or use all your MP on Artes and really kick their ass.

Combining all of those elements together makes it seem more kid friendly than it really is. Playing through the start makes you feel like a 10 year old playing his first RPG with an age appropriate game since you control a bunch of kids. The fights are easy and usually bees or some weak animal. Nothing serious, really. The artes are cool and the more artes you learn, the cooler and more fun Lloyd gets. It's cool to play as Lloyd when you learn a new arte or two.

So far everything has been pretty lighthearted. This RPG is fun, the characters are pretty cool and can be funny. The dungeons aren't super confusing. It's just a fun game overall but nothing spectacular or crazy. Really the worst thing that has happened is "Desians bad. They destroy hometown over something stupid."

Marble's scene is the only real adult sad part in the game so far. They kill Marble in a way that you kind of don't get crushed by emotions. They let you down pretty easy and you get Marble's ring for Genis so now she is always with you. Her death isn't too bad because she was old and it was just one old woman in the game. It's sad but not devastating. Also the Ranch. They use them as slaves. But tbh it doesn't really hit you that they resemble real world stuff and you dont see the parallels like you should. You just kind of write it off as shitty and Desians are evil and the bad guys. Surely you save everyone from the ranches and that's the point of the game. Kill Desians and save everyone.

You get to the dessert oasis where Colette crashed through the wall. Cute and funny. Oh, Lloyd and Genis get captured by bad Desians but the wanted posters were bad so it made it funny. Eventually, You escaped the bad, bad Desians and are back with your friends, yay!!! You go to the fire shrine, finally see more menacing enemies but they still arent that bad, and start your first puzzle dungeon! It's short but a lot of fun with a boss fight. It was a little tough but fun!! You beat the shrine, yay!!!

The serious Angel (Remiel) comes down again and talks to Colette and the gang. He gives her wings! She is becoming an angel. At this point you are thinking, "How cool. Colette is becoming an angel!!! She has wings now and can probably fly wherever she wanted to go! This game is really fun. It's not bad at all. The weapons and equipment aren't difficult and it's fun buying or finding stuff better than what you have and equipping the new stuff. The skits can be funny too and I get to know the characters better with the skits. This game is really cool, actually." It's time to speed this post up, though. I'll be going faster and doing more short versions/storytelling.

We sail across seas and bow we are at Palmacosta!!! Here's where things get a little weird and stuff too. So Palmacosta is cool. We look through town, only to find imposters. That's right. These fools are pretending to be me and my gang. Im the one with a cool group and shit. People wanna be me so bad!!! Lol.

By the way. General Dorr is also the Mayor of Palmacosta.

Imposters are rude and we meet mayor who seems cool till he tells us he thought the imposters were us and gave them a book we need. So....little me is like

"YOU DID WHAT!?" .... so we leave. Lol

We go to mountain gate, cant pass yet, learn Palmacosta is under attack by ... you guessed it... Desians. ,

*little me has eyes stretch wide open* But I was just there!!!! Sucks, I know.

So we head back and make it to Palmacosta. Remember the girl we saved from extreme questioning and customers that were badgering the girl since she was the store clerk/owner. Of course not. I never mentioned it. I saved her back then at the start of Palmacosta. Naturally they chose Chocolate, in some weird, sick revenge way for me making them look weak when they verbally attacked her. So Chocolate is about to hang and be killed. Some stuff happens and Lloyd ends up using his sword to save Chocolate. Boom. He is a hero. He saved someone from hanging....

Wait.... hanging? In kids game? Damn that's a little intense for a kids game but I guess you do save her. Carry on.....

So let's speak to the Mayor. He was conveniently gone while that was happening but meh. Coincidence right? Yeah. Yeah.

Talking to the General/Mayor we decide to go rescue everyone who has been kidnapped from Palmacosta. By the way there's a ranch for most cities that Desian's manage. So there is a Palmacosta Ranch and a bunch of people from Palmacosta are now held prisoners in the Ranch. Boo! But I digress.

Off to Palmacosta ranch!!! We finally reach it and... oh look... General Dorr"s personal Aide/Assistant. What's this? He is a traitor!? You've got to be kidding me! I trusted that dude!!! Maybe that will teach little me to be careful about who I hang out with. A pretty good life lesson for little me and nothing too serious. I'll handle that later though, and rescue the prisoners in the Palmacosta Ranch.

We save Chocolate but she would almost rather die than be saved by you. So you save her but not without a fight and learning some shocking stuff that little me is like "WHAAAA!!!???!??? NO WAY NO WAY NO WAY!!!!!!!! she still lives cause of you and you fight the leader of the Ranch and win that battle!!!

So yay!!! You won the battle and beat Palmacosta Ranch! Good job little you! You did awesome!!! The game has been really great, with a pretty light tone for the most part. Everything is bright, the enemies arent that bad at all, nothing truly fucked up has ha---"we're going to blow up the Ranch with people still in it" -Raine.

That's right.... "YOU'RE GONNA WHAT!?!?"

So yeah, we blow up Palmacosta Ranch. Desians were probably still inside along with a janitor named Chet that everyone forgot about lol. So bye bye Ranch!!!

"That got dark really fast and Raine is pretty ruthless but most people escaped. I guess I can kind of forgive that. This game is definitely darker than I thought but it could be worse. Most people escaped anyways I am sure. So it's not that bad." -me.

Back to Palmacosta to confront the traitor General Dorr!! Here we are! General Dorr and his daughter are standing suspiciously in the basement of the government building in Palmacosta. I'm sure he knows that he has been found out. I know he tried to sabotage the Chosen's journey. He has no exc--- OH NO! They got his wife with the Demon Seed, too!! Now she is a monster! No wonder he is a traitor. He is trying to get a potion which is the cure to save his wife. I kind of get it but that's pretty messed up. He is basically being held hostage. This game just got a little darker.... but it could be worse, I suppo----WHAT!? HIS DAUGHTER IS A DEMON! DID SHE JUST SAY SHE KILLED HIS DAUGHTER A LONG TIM AGO AND HE WAS TOO STUPID TO NOTICE!?"

She really just called him stupid and is acting like he is the biggest idiot for not knowing she killed his daughter!!! This whole time she has pretended to be his daughter. That means she probably went to her school, played with her friends, talked to her dad and played with him. She probably told him she loved him which is so messed up. She also knew there was no potion but continued to watch him and be ready to kill him if he tried to snitch about his wife. This got dark really fucking fast wtf!!! She is a complete demon stranger in a girls body pretending she loves her daddy, plays with friends, and does child things but is a demon the whole time. "I love you daddy says the demon pretending to be your daughter. That's really sick and twisted. Sad thing is little me is like "well that's weird. How did no one notice at all she was acting odd?

Maybe she didn't have any friends and her dad is to distracted about the medicine for his wife, he doesn't notice.

That's absolutely crazy and completely dark. Woah. This game is way way darker than it lead me to believe when I was young. That was pretty much my first reaction/playthrough when I was little. Symphonia is dark as fuck.

I played a little bit further to the next ranch my first playthrough but quit when I found out they were killing people like it was nothing. I was really little then, too, btw. I quit because it got really dark and kind of weird and complicated to fully grasp everything going on and the parallels to the real world. I always played RPGs relating it to real life and such. I have done that since my first RPG so with Symphonia I had to quit. It was too dark and weird when I first played it.

Once I came back and beat Symphonia I thought it was Brilliant. It was absolutely amazing and worth so much more praise. I loved it and still do. Even the dark side of things.

Turns out I am not the only one who did this. Play through, reach a dark part or part where you realize how dark it is, and then quit. I'm glad I picked it back up, though. It's almost a perfect game!!!

So yeah... here's a playthrough of little me and Symphonia. I was too little to be playing games with dark themes even if they were short or small. I say this because I was stupid small and really let my imagination run wild when I played games and read. I often make things 20 times worse so I really shouldn't have played Symphonia till later.

Anyways it's amazing. Nearly perfect.

Hii. Im hoping you can give me some advice.I adore Jaime and Brienne and am devastated how things have been written in the last couple of eps. I took incredible joy by watching fan videos and binge watching the whole series. I havent been able to continue past few weeks due to Jaime leaving Brienne and the devastation that brought and when i try to watch JB,I think what's the point as he will just leave her & his character arc in S8.What mindset can I take to continue being a JB fan?Plse help :(

I really only have two steps:

1. The first step is to realize this is NOT canon. This is very expensive fanfic, created by dudebros who are incapable of seeing any meaning below the surface. (They even said that themes were for 8th graders LMAO. They also recently admitted that they don’t know how GRRM will end it. Chicky has a good post on how the books will be different.)

Other than the illusion Jaime and Cersei cling to for comfort BEFORE they become estranged, there is literally nothing in canon to support this endgame. Everything that comes out of their mouths pre-estrangement is an illusion intentionally put there for GRRM to laugh at and totally annihilate. He’s basically writing a spoof on classic, passionate, toxic love. He even makes it crystal clear that Cersei is delusional when it comes to her relationship with Jaime and who Jaime is, by having the scene where she’s saying there’s no fucking way Jaime would leave her to her fate, all alone. She is SURE that he’ll come to her, even if it means getting the chance to die with her. What does he do? He burns the letter and leaves her to her fate. He not only refuses to try to save her, but he chooses to not die with her. (And the argument that he only didn’t go because he’s one-handed is really fucking stupid lol. He still chose to not die with her and he’s even like “Eh, she might be dead by now” while traveling). Another moment to highlight her delusion when it comes to their partnership is when she says “Jaime would never abandon me for such a creature.” Like, she actually panics when Qyburn tells her that he ran off with another woman and she’s like WHO WHAT WHERE?! She then says he obviously didn’t get the letter then, but the audience knows exactly what happened to that letter and that Cersei is, as usual, very mistaken.

As for GRRM, when asked about his intent with Jaime, and Jaime and Cersei, NOT ONCE did he ever use the word “addiction” or imply that Jaime can’t move on. He doesn’t even bring up Cersei when he’s asked about intent with Jaime, and when he does it’s because he’s been specifically asked about her and he uses her as a CONTRAST to Jaime, and then he goes off on Jaime lmao.

He even said this while speaking about Jaime

I want there to be a possibility of redemption for us, because we all do terrible things. We should be able to be forgiven. Because if there is no possibility of redemption, what’s the answer then? [x]

That doesn’t sound like a nihilistic ending to me.

I also HIGHLY doubt Cersei is the big bad in this. I’m convinced she absorbed (f)Aegon’s plot and she was kept around in the show much longer past her expiration date because HBO and the D’s love Lena because she’s an amazing actress, she helps the ratings, and she hasn’t read the books so she plays their woobifed version of Cersei. Once they gave her that pointless Jaime’s Baby pregnancy plot, it became very obvious she shouldn’t have even been around the last couple of seasons.

Another very obvious reason as to why this is not endgame, is Cersei has valonqar in the books. Either Jaime kills Cersei or Cersei is killed by someone else. And no, he’s not killing her out of a jealous rage. If that was the case I don’t see why they wouldn’t have adapted that on the show to give all twincest fans their fantasy of Great Tragic murder/suicide? Especially since they were already playing up the twincest and Jaime had that encounter with Euron? And in the books, he’s upset and angry, DUH, but he’s heading in the direction of apathy. Did he go after Cersei when he found out, which would have been at peak pain levels? Did he kill Lancel when they spoke about it? Did he kill Cersei after his conversation with Lancel? lol no. So, my point is, without going into the 857408677694376037 other reasons it’ll never happen, the valonqar alone makes Jaime and Cersei dying together in a loving embrace almost impossible. There’s also a million other things wrong with this ending, for literally every other character, so it’s fucking ridiculous to think that all of that is wrong but somehow Jaime and Cersei is pure truth lmfao.

2. Okay step 1 was long, but it’s very important to detach yourself from that garbage spite fic. Next, THE BANG IS WHERE IT ENDS. That is the conclusion to their story.

Just wanna clarify a few things after my long review/rant at the end for KH3 Re:Mind

My comments about the Sokai stuff I stand by, but I wanna be clear because I see Sokai shippers claiming antis complained about the lack of Sokai for it to be a believable relationship and now that Sokai has more moments we’re complaining about them shoving Sokai down our throats.

I cant speak for all antis on this, so I’ll be strictly speaking for myself on this issue and anyone else who feels similar to me. Warning it gets long again so be ready.

Yes Im one of those antis who complained about the lack of Sokai which made it underdeveloped and unbelievable, and yes I am also complaining about them now shoving Sokai down our throats.

Why? because Kingdom hearts is not a romance, and throughout every single game so far romance has taken a severe back seat and handled very subtely. For example Sora’s drawing in the cave of him giving Kairi the Paopu fruit, Riku teasing him about wanting to give one to Kairi, Sora saying hes always with her and promising to come back for her, Roxas calling Kairi ‘the girl he likes’ etc

All these moments were very short, subtle, and to the point. It was not a primary focus nor was it blatantly shoved in your face like

I mean in almost EVERY shot they were together Sora was holding her hand, which isnt something he usually does? keep in mind Sora and Kairi’s feelings have been known to eachother since KH2 and Sora still didnt behave the way he is now. He was always very awkward and uncomfortable/shy when it came to romance.

In KH2 Sora didnt hug Kairi, nor did he hold her hand, it was KAIRI who initiated the hug out of relief and happiness to see Sora again and that hes ok. Sora did not show the same sentiment and treated her like he always has, just casually walking up to her and just nonchalantly saying ‘You are different Kairi, but Im just glad your here’ as if she wasnt kidnapped and being held hostage this entire time. He should have showed the same concern for her as he did for Riku and Kairi for him but he did not, he just said that and then turned away and apologized.

But in KH3 Sora/Nomura pull a complete 180, Sora hugs Kairi to shield her from Terranort with his body instead of pulling out his keyblade and blocking his attack. Him hugging Kairi there was not only stupid, but it doesnt even defend her, Terranort will just kill Kairi AND him now. That was just a forced out of place Sokai moment for the sake of shoving a Sokai moment that was completely unnessecary and could of easily had the same impact by having Sora do the common sense thing and BLOCK with his keyblade like he did for Riku when they were in THE EXACT SAME SITUATION.

See the difference? good, then I need say no more.

This is only one of many situations where they would shoehorn in a Sokai moment that was completely out of place, didnt make any sense, or just forced in trying way too hard to convince you how much Sora cares for Kairi and how much they love and want to be together forever etc etc

Another example being when everybody ‘dies’ in the keyblade graveyard being swept away by heartless. Sora only loses his mind and breaks down emotionally after Kairi is the last one swept away, he then says the most inconsiderate line he could have ever said.

He says this while RIKU IS RIGHT THERE BESIDE HIM, even if you were arguing he was just speaking figuratively thats still no excuse, he was NOT alone but at that moment he just completely disregarded Riku as if his presence there was the same as being alone.

Not only that but seconds later he does one of the most out of character things for him.

Sora just WATCHES Riku risk his life holding back the heartless to protect him and Sora just WATCHES him fighting off this huge horde of heartless BY HIMSELF and not ONCE does Sora make ANY attempt to get up and help Riku despite knowing his life is at risk trying to hold them back alone.

Even if you wanna argue Sora was in shock, when has that ever stopped him before!? when have you EVER known Sora to just sit back and watch his friends put their lives in danger and NOT help them?

What makes this worse is thats not even the first time he does it, he sits back and watches AGAIN as Axel gets bodied right infront of him just to have him exhausted next to Kairi because you know, Sora’s never fought strong opponents and gotten right back up to protect his friends before.

Remember Terranort? Sora was overpowered by him and still made the effort to run over and hug Kairi to shield her from his attack, but Axel and Riku? nah just gonna chill and watch. This is BEYOND out of character for Sora.

When Axel told Sora to hurry and save Kairi, who was being held hostage by the organization and was in danger, Sora refused to leave him and stayed behind to help him fight. Sora chose helping Axel over Kairi, he put saving his enemy before his own friend/love interest.

When Neku betrayed him, Sora still helped and protected him when he was in danger

When Riku stole his keyblade and Donald and Goofy followed him and left Sora behind, yes Sora was discouraged but when he saw Beasts determination to save Belle no matter what, it encouraged Sora to do the same for the people he cared about

I could go on but you get my point, Sora saw Riku risking his life, literally dying and he did NOTHING, try to justify that all you want but that was incredibly out of character and was obviously put there to show how losing Kairi broke him.

I know your probably gonna argue it wasnt just Kairi it was everybody, and to that I say this, if it wasnt just about Kairi why didnt Sora snap when Ven and Axel got bodied? he froze for a few seconds but then snapped out of it thanks to Riku. After that everybody gets swept away, but the game made sure to put EXTRA emphasis, slow motion and all, to Kairi and Sora reaching out to eachother and then Kairi being swept away by the tide.

THATS when he snaps, if it truly werent just about Kairi they wouldnt have made sure to put emphasis on her being swept away, EVERYONE would have gotten the same treatment if it were truly their deaths also that made Sora fall apart. Im not saying he wasnt upset or heartbroken over them, Im pointing out how they made sure to single out Kairi as the most DEVASTATING loss out of all of them.

Yet again, he has Riku one of his closest bonds if not the closest right beside him yet he doesnt even acknowledge him? he says hes alone even though Rikus right there? you cannot justify that as anything other than downplaying Riku to boost Kairi up.

You do not see the other trios treated this way, every trio has equal focus for ALL of them and even the romantic hints for some of them [Roxas/Xion, Terra/Aqua, technically Namine/Repliku] have all been treated equally and did not feel forced or out of place but very natural and they still made sure to focus on the friendship bond between them overall.

Axel doesnt get played down in importance to Roxas just to boost Xion up, their friendship and bond with eachother are equally important to one another despite whatever ‘romance’ there might be. Same applies to Terra and Aqua, Ven is not played down in importance to them. As for Namine and Repliku they arent a trio but their romance was still handled well and it didnt overshadow their platonic bond or attempt to play down the real Riku or vice versa to boost the other, Namine was equally important to both of them.

So balancing romance and friendship CAN be done in their trio, but for some reason Nomura insists on pitting one against the other and playing down one over the other, in Sokai’s case thats Riku, which is an insult to his and Sora’s bond. The same way Sokai shippers felt the over-focus on Sorikus bond was a disservice to Sora and Kairi’s bond, its the same issue.

But lets get back to Re:mind because besides a few bad moments, overall KH3 was atleast passable with the Sokai nonsense. Then comes Re:Mind and oh boy...the damage control was strong in this one.

Again as I said earlier the Sokai moments in this game were very forced and out of place and in many ways out of character for Sora.

For starters the excessive hand holding, why? to convince us their a thing? but Sora suggests otherwise

Even after all the excessive hand holding, the hugs, the forced moments etc, in the end Sora still calls Kairi a friend. After aaaaall the forced Sokai bs they shoved down our throats Sora still friendzones her, which is it Nomura? you either want them together or you dont, stop playing games and pick a side already.

Dont get me wrong Im glad he hasnt made it official yet but after all this its like enough is enough, either follow through or cut this shit out and go back to being subtle like before.

Another huge insult was Sora constantly saying how his journey started with Kairi, since when? I remember Sora losing Kairi AND Riku that day not just her. I recall Sora not going back to Destiny Islands with Kairi BECAUSE he wanted to continue his journey to find Riku, but apparently in Re:mind it was just all about Kairi, nothing about his journey involved Riku no it was only Kairi that was his main motivation, gtf outta here man.

You can say something over and over but that doesnt make it true, Sora’s journey started with BOTH of them, lets stop playing down Riku’s importance to once again boost Kairi up.

That hug when Sora finally reunited with Kairi after restoring her was so obviously trying to make up for all the years of people complaining about Sora’s lack of reaction to Kairi in KH2 in comparison to Riku, so having him hold her for several seconds floating in the sky should rectify that right? you believe he cares about her now right? fuck off man. If your gonna do damage control than atleast dont make it so obvious that thats what your doing because then it comes off disingenuous, forced, and fake.

But my biggest issue is the ending where they really shoehorned Sokai where it didnt belong, literally stalking everyone else with the exception of returning Namines heart and Sora helping to reunite Chirithy with Ventus. But in Twilight town, why were Sora and Kairi there? they werent with Roxas but just sitting above them

Why were they at Mickeys castle? again their just in the background sight seeing.

These scenes were completely unnessecary and completely out of place and made the ending WORSE rather than better. Why? because these are Sora’s final hours ALIVE whether you argue only for a day or a couple days, in all of these ending scenes only one thing matters to Sora and thats Kairi.

Before we assumed everything that was shown all happened the same exact day and we didnt see Sora with any of them. But now we have confirmation Sora WAS there yet he only spent his last remaining time with Kairi in the background while quietly stalking everyone else? even if he didnt spend time with anyone else, he should have spent his last remaining time with Kairi AND Riku, after all hes his best friend and would like to spend what little time he may have with Sora too but we dont see any of that. Hell this contradicts Soras own danm words to Chirithy prior to this.

Instead of just shoehorning a bunch of Sokai in the background why not show the three of them FINALLY all together again like the old days? this is wtf Im talking about. We saw ALL the other trios together but the Destiny trio? hell naw fuck Riku lets have Sora spend all his remaining time with Kairi, thats the only one who REALLY matters here. After being separated from eachother constantly, now they finally have the chance to be together again and spend time together as friends and they DONT.

Instead Sora decides to take Kairi around the worlds hes visited, something he said he wanted to do with Riku as well, and just spend all his remaining time with her, even though in the base game before the final battle Sora was concerned why Riku was all alone and not spending time with them together. But here? nah fuck Riku. I remembered how important it is to share moments with friends only applied to Kairi.

So personally idc that theres more Sokai moments, my problem is the execution. It doesnt feel genuine, it feels forced and awkward and just doing damage control to pander to the rabid fanbase thats been screaming for this type of content for years, well congrats, you got it.

My problem is Kingdom Hearts was never about romance, it was always subtle and not shoved in your face, it felt natural and not forced and like there was atleast SOME heart behind it, but this? just felt hollow and forced.

Just stop, Im glad in the end Kairi just sleeps for a whole year and probably still will be sleeping when the next game comes out and the focus will shift to Riku and his search for Sora along with the other keyblade wielders doing their part as well.

So Im thankful it seems like we’re done with this crap and getting back to what ACTUALLY matters and what people really wanna see from this series.

Notice how nothing in either of my posts had to do with Soriku as a couple but about their bond as friends, enough said.

So dont try to twist this into just being about pairings because its not, its about what this series has always been about being forgotten for the sake of a fucking trash ship that nobody cares about besides rabid shippers and Sora’s bonds with his other friends being completely thrown out the fucking window to shorehorn in a bunch of unnessecary Sokai moments as a desperate attempt to convince people that these two love eachother which at this point if you have to try so hard to CONVINCE people of your pairing its obvious your doing a very shitty job at it.

Im done, this is my last long post about this for a while but I really needed to get that all out there since nobody else seems to be calling it out for what it is. My anger and frustration is still very fresh and it shows so I really need to stop talking about it because at this point? Re:Mind just ReMinded me why the Destiny trio is the worst out of them all, it is the most unbalanced and quite frankly feels more like Riku is a third wheel at this point and not even a part of the trio anymore. Before Kairi, it was always Sora and RIku yet hes the one whos being pushed aside and forgotten about in all this. That pisses me off.

So Im done with this topic, I need to cool off for the next couple of years till the next game comes out where hopefully Kairi stays asleep the entire time and NOT ruin another game.

Not liking characters doesn't automatically make you a racist.

So I just unfollowed someone because in their post they said that they dont like it when James Olsen is written as the villain of a fan fic story. She assumes it's simply because the writer didn't like Guardian Corp and the writer has to be a racist. (Note check the bloody tags! Most state if it's Anti James).

So, I've got a story up on AO3 at the moment where I've done a role reversal for Kara and Lena. I needed a antagonist and I chose James. Why didn't I go with Lex? Because in my story Lex is a good guy and Superman is the bad guy. Same storyline as the original only it's Reporter Lex that took down villain Superman. I have James as Lex's best friend but I chose to have him as a bad guy.

Now is that because I didn't like Guardian corp? Well my story does have Guardian corp in a negative light I'll own up to that.

But for the record I didn't hate Guardian Corp because James is a black man or because I'm a Super Corp shipper. I hated it because there was no build up and they made no sense and I'm not a fan of the way I saw James treating Lena. They didn't have enough time to build anything, they were thrown together. If James was a nicer character id have been OK with it. But it had bugger all to do with his race.

I was absolutely on board with Lena and Jack! I was devastated they killed him off! I'm not naive, Supercorp is extremely unlikely to happen but that's why fan fic exists. I don't dislike James because of Supercorp. I haven't liked James since the first episode. No it's not because he's black! I actually defended the casting choice to some of my very old skool DC fan friends (40+.) Please dont bore with the 'i defended him so i cant be racist' nonsense. I simply don't like the way he is written. Plus the writers don't seem to care to much either. (Note I'm glad they haven't ignored his PTSD).

Back to the point. Not liking a character doesn't make you a racist. I didn't like Mon El either. Oh no?! Im a white woman who didn't like a black character but I'm also a white women who DID like a black character and im a white woman who didn't like a white character (Mon El) .

Soooo.... Am I racist for not liking both a black and a white character? While simultaneously really liking Jack, Jonn , Megan, Col Haley and now Kelly? Guess I must be.

Comic book writers change up their characters a lot. Sometimes they have alternate versions of them. I guess I must be a white woman racist against her own race for making Superman my bad guy.

Do the Supergirl writers hate Kara because they wrote her on Red K? Or because they wrote a Nazi version of her? Or now a copy that is causing issues? No!

So to take a leaf out of the protesters book if you think I'm a racist please just unfollow me and take your imagined slights elsewhere.

Being a black character doesn't give James a free pass to be an ass anymore than being a white character gave Mon El a free pass to be an ass. Or even when Superman or Batman or Green Arrow are being asses!

It is possible for a character of a different race to your own to be a bad character.

Plus if you're going to read fan fic check the bloody tags.

What are your favorite and least favorite parts about the arcs of Yu Yu Hakusho?

I’ll break down the “Spirit Detective Saga” down into the smaller bits.

Surprised to be Dead:

Favorite part is by far and large, meeting Botan. I have no clue if I would have been as involved with this series without a fun character like her to draw me in. The premise of the series was solid and completely new to me, but Yusuke was not at all an exciting looking character.

Least favorite part of this arc is without a doubt the lack luster art/animation. Being a new series that wasn’t promised a long run and could be canceled at any time, there wasn’t going to be a lot of money put into it at first, and Togashi still had room to grow with his art.

First Case:

Favorite part of this arc would be the introductions of the villains, and future protagonists of the series, Hiei and Kurama. Yusuke, all of a day into getting his powers or something like that, is sent off to get the Artifacts of Darkness back from Hiei, Kurama, and Gouki, all of which could kill Yusuke without trying very hard. And jumping into that, Yusuke needed all the help he could get in order to get the artifacts back, and “solve” this case. If not for Botan and Kurama, Yusuke would have died again. It’s not often that you see the main character need help or have to use some strategy to win a fight, especially since before dying, all Yusuke had was brute force.

Least favorite part was Hiei’s demon form. It’s obvious that he was meant to be a one time villain because this is the only time we see it in the series, and I’m not including the Poltergeist Report movie. It’s ugly as hell, fills Hiei’s body with the anti-climatic Legend of Zelda weakness, and was never brought up again.

Genkai Training:

Favorite part of this arc was Yusuke’s pure and simple, dumb luck. Once again, and it’s a reoccurring theme in this series for Yusuke, but the guy only survives any of his matches in this arc, by getting lucky. He should have been disqualified for not making it on time, but Genkai let him pass because he beat Baldok. He would have lost to Kibano, if Genkai hadn’t gotten pissed off at him and thrown her lit cigarette into the dark room for Yusuke to use. He would have lost to Kazemaru, had Yusuke not slipped into the swamp, which caused Kazemaru’s homing shuriken to explode in his own face. And Rando would have shrunken Yusuke and squashed him like a bug, had Yusuke’s ears not been full of algae from the swamp he slipped into, causing Rando’s chant to backfire on him. Yusuke is a lucky idiot.

Least favorite part of this arc…hmm….Yusuke never got to go to the Tokyo Dome. Botan bribed him with tickets if he went to Genkai’s, and because he won the damn thing, he was forced into 6 months of training, and didn’t get to go. As a wrestling fan myself, that hurts.

Saint Beasts:

Favorite parts would be Botan in that smoking hot red tights/leather jacket combo, and the beginnings of “Team Urameshi” being formed. We’d only known Kurama and Hiei as villains, and here they were being…coerced, into joining Yusuke’s mission to stop their fellow demons from trying to destroy Sarayashiki and killing Keiko. We got to see Yusuke show off the results of his training with Genkai, the lengths of Kuwabara’s toughness and loyalty, and better yet, seeing Hiei’s strange honor code and absolutely devastation of Seiryuu after seeing the ice user’s cruelty toward his companion.

I can’t think of anything about this arc I disliked, but I guess Keiko being the damsel? Even then, she and Botan kicked ass in trying to escape a horde of demon insect controlled humans, so it’s not like either woman was defenseless in anyway, just outnumbered and outgunned, so to speak.

Rescue Yukina:

Favorite parts of this mini-arc would be meeting Yukina, Shizuru, Botan in those tight jeans and brown jacket, and on a more serious note, Yusuke and Kuwabara strolling into this mafia-esque compound full of demons and killer humans, beating the shit out of anyone who gets in their way, until they come across the Toguro Brothers. The seriousness of this situation is kind of lost on us until we find out just how strong the Toguro Brothers are in a later arc, and how easily they could have torn the boys to shreds and stopped the rescue mission. The only reason the YYH group walked away from this fight, is because the Toguro’s allowed them to.

Least favorite part is just how hideous Tarukane is as a person, inside and out. The anime skims over it, but in the manga, it’s hinted that Yukina has been a prisoner here for a long time, upward of five years. I can only imagine the tortures she’s faced in that time.

Dark Tournament:

Loved everything about this arc. I’m cheating a bit, but all the fights, Puu being born, the emotional growth Yusuke and the rest of the team were forced to endure, was just spectacular. We got to see the dark history between Genkai and her former lover Toguro, what drove a wedge between them, met new friend that would be showing up later in the series, got to see more of the lovely human and demon world ladies. It was just fucking fun.

Least favorite thing is that Atsuko got left out of the tournament arc for the anime completely. In the manga, she was there through it all.

Chapter Black:

This arc was fantastic. Favorite part of this arc is Sensui and the rest of the villains in general are amazing. His plan to open a breech into Demon World is so well thought out, that it’s almost total bullshit at times, but still works. He sacrifices his pawns, kills Yusuke, beats the living hell out of our heroes, and gets exactly what he wants the entire time. Sensui won. He may have died in the end, but his plan worked. Not only that, but Togashi wrote him in such a way that we legitimately feel bad for the guy at points, for having his life and ideology destroyed by humans and Spirit World. He’s still an asshole though. Outside of this, I also loved that one butt shot we get of Botan, Botan saving Mitarai, and then Hiei and Yusuke fighting in the forest after Hiei stabbed Sniper.

Least favorite thing of this arc would be Spirit World in general. They basically caused this whole situation, and when Yusuke was killed, then reborn as a demon, they tried to have him killed as well. Douche bags.

Three Kings:

I think this arc is generally bad. I don’t particularly care for any part of it besides getting to learn a little about Hiei and Kurama’s histories. Besides a terrible finish, basically removing Kuwabara, Botan, Koenma, Shizuru, Yukina, and Keiko from the show until the final episodes was a very sour note at the end of an amazing series.

If I had to chose something to like about it, I’d say seeing that everyone got a fairly happy ending. Yukina comes to live with the Kuwabaras, Yusuke and Keiko are sure to be married, Kurama’s working with his father in law, and Hiei’s….in a tree.

VI. The Lovers - have your character’s heart and mind ever been at odds with one another?

X-men verse: Yes, a few times. When he first started getting his mutation and really struggling to come to terms with it, he was really confused as to what he should do. It took him a month or two to decide, and ultimately his head chose to leave to spare his family from any problems his mutations would cause even though his heart told him to stay and have their support.

Also with Rhys, there was a lot of his heart telling him something his mind hadnt quite realized yet. It was a very subconscious thing because he knew he loved him, but never thought about in what way. It was obvious to everyone else, he absolutely adored him, loved his smile, his voice, everything about him and spent time always thinking of him. The problem was, it didnt click in his mind right away that all of those feelings were much more than friendship. All he knew, was that being with Rhys made his soul happy. When he did finally realize, everything just seemed to make sense but due to the whole drunken night incident a whole new struggle arose. He didnt think Rhys would feel the same way so that made his head clash with his heart a lot. All of it was a misunderstanding of course <3 They both love each other.

In Mainverse: Phew, Im only going to list one time and make it brief or else we’ll be on this one question forever. When crossing the Helcaraxe, it was nothing but a mind and heart battle. He was constantly aching for comfort but hating everyone for hurting him so badly, but somewhere in his mind he knew he didnt hate them, he loved them and thats why it hurt so bad. It took the whole elven 30 years in the Helcaraxe to finally cope and his mind and heart match as much as it could.

VIII. Strength - is there a moment your character has ever had to fight for something or someone?

X-Men Au: In his usual X-men verse he hasnt had to do anything extremely drastic, but he does defend the people he cares about from judgemental people on several occasions. It sounds awfully tame but I think eventually when on his own and living with Rhys, both of them having jobs, having a happy life. He feels like they did a lot of work to get there too. Finrod helped Rhys through a lot of hard times, and they overcame past demons to live happy and together. Sometimes those demons do resurface but they fight back against that.

He does have a verse where he and a friend were captured, and he protected them from Hydra, and for the sake of not writing a lot of gore, in short theres a lot of biting and fighting. He gets muzzled, his hair cut, tested on, but eventually he gets his friend and they get out but the friend doesnt make it far, the friend supposedly drowns in the river. Key word being supposedly. XD

MainVerse: Yes. There is a lot of war throughout his lifetime that he fights in and a lot of emotional turmoil. He had to fight to be with Maglor the moment they first fell in love. Feanor forbid them to be see each other, Maglor had to marry someone else, etc. That was the least of his problems though, when they all were fleeing Valinor he had to fight to try and keep his cousins/friends from killing each other ( which they did) at the first kinslaying. He also had to fight and struggle to keep his family alive in the Helcaraxe. Then there was just so much fighting in Middle Earth. The only time there wasnt, was in the time of great peace when Morgoth was quiet, and Finrod was free to run his kingdom happily and be with his family and lover, still in secret, but he’d take it. After all that crap, keeping their romance secret wasnt as big of a deal anymore. Thats not to say it didnt bother him sometimes, but there were worse problems.

XVIII. The Moon - what is the most significant secret your character has discovered?

X-men AU: Aside from finding out what happened to Rhys, there isnt much else significant. His life in this au is relatively calm compared to all other aus. Unless you count teenage talk, and secrets swapped between friends. Theres tons of those but none of those are massive secrets.

MainVerse: Probably when Ulmo came to him and gave him a hint of what was to come and what he needed to do to prepare. Any secret from a Vala is hella significant. Similarly, the most significant secret he ever kept himself, is that he was shagging his half-cousin for centuries and they in fact were kinda secretly married twice XD Also, any events of his foresight telling him something can also count.

★ Seven of Pentacles - what tests your character’s patience more than anything?

Prejudice.The only smidge of patience he has for it, is giving them a chance to educate themselves on the matter and be a better person. He’ll even offer to educate them. If they keep squandering that chance then he has no patience for them. You can lead a horse to water but cant make them drink, if hes gatta just forget them and protect innocent people from them then oh well. He tried. Hes not gonna tolerate someone whos ignorant biased hateful views hurt people.

ー☆* Two of Wands - has your character ever had to make a tough decision between two choices?

X-men AU: This goes along with the first question. Most of his tough decisions were due to his mind and heart saying two different things. When his mutation started surfacing, not only did he feel like he had to choose between leaving and staying, he felt the need to either keep in touch or break up with his boyfriend. Those were two very very hard decisions. Of course he had only just turned 16, he was such a young boy and in his mind at the time those were his only choices. He got so afraid that his family would suffer if someone judged him, he wanted them happy. The same with his boyfriend, they had both planned to go to go through highschool together then attend a college of the arts to study music. They had such big dreams that he suddenly didnt think he could do anymore. The thought of trying and failing, then hindering his boyfriend from achieving his dreams was too much, he couldnt find it in himself to risk everyones happiness, and/or safety. Heaven forbid him being a mutant were to effect his parents jobs! Or people pick on his little siblings at their schools. He thought of everything bad that could happen, and in that already stressed/very frightened state he decided to leave. Of course Charles Xavier found him and told him about the institute, and this whole thing was mended but it was devastating at the time.

MainVerse: Whether or not to leave Valinor was a choice that changed his entire life, and set his entire future in motion down the path of doom. It sounds really dramatic and it was. ;-;. When all the Noldor decided to leave when the trees were killed his mother wouldn’t go with them, and he couldnt bear to leave her but he felt the need to go and protect his father and siblings too. So he told her he would take care of them for her. At that time there was no doom of Mandos, and there could have been a way back to see her at some point and time. It wasnt too unreasonable to think seeing as the Valar said they could go, and they hadnt committed any crimes yet.

After the kinslaying he had a choice to turn back with his father and his people, to be forgiven and have the curse of doom lifted off him but he couldnt leave his siblings, cousins, and lover. He had to choose to stay with them, and thus making the decision to never see his parents again until he died. In a way he had no choice, he couldnt let his siblings, cousins, and lover go to middle earth, where the dark lords were, alone. Theres no way he could so in that aspect it was an easy choice, but hard and heartwrenching all the same. Another tough choice was to travel through the Helcaraxe but that wasnt his sole decision, its more complicated so I wont mention that one.

◥█̆̈◤ Four of Cups - how indecisive is your character?

Finrod is pretty decisive, the only decisions that are difficult for him are the ones where his heart and mind clash like the other questions asked about. He has such a big heart, he always tries to consider everyone and do whats best but sometimes the situation calls for a lot of thinking rather than acting on emotion. Something that important takes a lot of thought.

━━╋⊂ Three of Swords - what was the worst betrayal of trust your character has ever experienced?

X-men au: I think going back to the tough decision question about his mutation beginning to surface. At the time when that happened, he felt very betrayed by his own body. Everything just started tumbling to pieces in front of him. His body kept changing and his teeth were growing so his mouth was incredibly sore around his canines not to mention accidentally biting himself a lot. His ears, and sense of smell, and taste were malfunctioning from the change so noises that didnt normally bother him hurt sometimes to the point of bleeding ears, things that normally tasted good suddenly tasted bad, he kept smelling things he didnt want to smell. Not to mention his voice started doing really weird things and he suddenly got abnormally strong. Not only was all this suddenly happening to him, his fear of what would happen to everyone else just made him feel betrayed by the world for not accepting him and forcing him between a rock and a hard place. Of course later, things did work out and he realized there were a lot of people who supported mutants too, and that he just had to see it. The longer he had his mutation he felt like it was who he was meant to be, now he wouldnt know what to do without it. Just being so young and everything happening so suddenly did make him feel betrayed for several months.

Mainverse: Hm, well theres several betrayals that he went through although things like the kinslaying wasnt directly to solely him so I wont elaborate on those. I would say its a pretty good tie between his uncle Feanor refusing to let Makalaure/Maglor be with him and basically forcing Mags to marry someone else specifically to keep them from ever being married was a pretty bad betrayal at the time. Feanor had always been rough around the edges, but Finrod had never expected that extent of a betrayal.

The biggest betrayal of his entire lifetime I would say is what Curufin and Celegorm did in Nargothrond. Finrod had been one of the best kings in history, he was sweet, compassionate, loyal, trust worthy, he cared about everyone not just his own subjects. His kingdom thrived and was so happy, he kept it hidden from evil all that time. There was such an immense level of respect between him and his subjects, and Curufin and Celegorm specifically visited Nargothrond to try and undermine that respect and trust. They widdled away at it and planted all kinds of seeds of doubt to the point when Finrod decided to go with Beren to retrieve a silmaril, it was absolute mutiny. Everyone in the entire kingdom turned on him because of what Curufin and Celegorm had done and said to them, only a single handful of people remained loyal to him. A single handful, thats it, out of that entire massive kingdom. Finrod simply took off his crown and tossed it on the floor bc thats all he could do, it was such a betrayal there was nothing else he could have done. Finrod went into Angband with only part of that handful of people because no one else would follow him. They all died except for Beren who Finrod died protecting. Luckily his nephew Orodreth got the crown and not Curufin and Celegorm, but much good that did..Not long after Nargothrond fell and Orodreth and his daughter was killed, and most of Nargothronds people were either killed or enslaved. So.. yea. Massive Betrayal. Hugee. Lead to the entire kingdom and its people being dead.
