Sam Kerr XL VS Erling Haaland XL

A massive day in English football that was arriving. The Women's Super League and The Premier League were in a agreement to have a All Star match. Both teams made up from Stars of the WSL and the PL and the week would draw a lot of inspiration from the NBA all star week, Contests, Celebrity match, etc

Even though their was some concerns about the players playing too much, the game would be in off season and players had a choice to play if they wanted too. The idea of playing with some of the best in the country and friends was a exciting idea so when where contacted to be apart of Pep's side you jumped at the chance

Much Excitement was gathering for the event, especially since you was contacted to be apart of the Haaland XL and would take on the Kerr XL. The days following up to the event was press, media and training with the teammates for the match. The likes of Haaland, Mead, Foden, Son, TAA, Leah Williamson, Walker and more. Whilst the other team would have Sam Kerr, KDB, Russo, Millie Bright, Daly, Ederson and more.

During training camp you met with friends like Mead, Leah and Heung Min Son and new like Haaland, Lauren Hemp, Thiago Silva just to name a few.

Training camp was filled with banter, fun and energy. You loved being around the league's top stars that sometimes it you had to pinch yourself to see if this was real.

"Ok team, this will be the line up for the game. everyone will have time on the pitch. Even though this is a game of fun, I'm sure we all don't like to lose" Pep said in a light hearted tone which was responded with smiles and head nods. The slide would show the line up and you study it.

GK - Mary Earps

DEF- Walker, McCabe, Le Tissier, Sliva

MID - Williamson, Son, Foden

ATT - Y/N, Haaland, Hemp

You smiled at the line up, This team looked good and the bench was good too. You felt a nudge behind you to see Haaland and received a high five turned into a fist pump. Hemp who was sitting next to you also did the same. Leah, Son and Foden would just be magic. the back 4 screamed hard work and aggression and Mary had that passion to motivate the entire team. You, Hemp and Haaland is a dangerous trio. Hemp with her pace and quick thinking, Haaland is well Erling Haaland and you were the Top Goal scorer in the F.A cup and Champions league last season. This Team was powerful.

The meeting went on as Pep gave game plans and who would most likely deal with who. Like the defence and Mary having to hold off Sam Kerr and Salah. Midfield up against Rice, KDB, Cuthbert and Toone.

"Y/N, Hemp,Haaland. You will most likely be up against Trippier" You rubbed your chin, he can be a challenge "Steph Houghton" You lean forward excitement filled you as you go up against a lioness legend "Harry Maguire" You smirked at the easy challenge "And Millie Bright" Your smirked turned into a full blown evil smile, Not only would you a Arsenal Striker go up against a Chelsea captain but you LOVED challenges and Millie fitted that category. You looked at your attacking teammates who also looked intrigued and ready untill "I got a tenner on F/N making one of them break" you hear McCabe say from the back who made the room laugh, you turned to her with you smile on show. What did McCabe mean by her bet? Well you had a reputation..............for being one of the biggest shit talkers there is.

Whenever you were marked by a defender you just talked...and talked.... and talked until you were in their head or made them so irritated that they would try and two foot you and not be able to focus most of the time you catching them off guard and finding yourself through on goal

One thing that everyone knew about you when playing

"I SAY TWENTY!" Hemp shouts taking the bet on you gave an eye roll

"THIRTY AND A ROUND OF DRINKS ON ME IF IM WRONG!" You had to double take as Son jumped in on it which threw you off "SONNY!" you said flabbergasted as the rest of the team were taking that bet

"HUNDRED!" You turned to Pep and gave him a really look

"I HAVE ONE FOR YOU F/N!" you turned back to Leah " Millie is a tough one and won't be easily broken" You tilted your head a little bit, interest building "If you can get Bright to break, I will be your assistant for a 24 hours" The room filled with oohs as you crossed your arms leaning back, biting your tongue, feeling a nudge from Hemp as Son put his hands on your shoulders and shock you "Go on!" Son said "Yeah you can make her suffer" Hemp said You smiled at your friends

"And if I don't?"

"You would my assistant for a full day" You smirked and leaned forward "And then McCabe's for another 24 hours" Your smirk dropped god knows what Katie would make you do. The Team were enjoying every moment of this after the brief thought, You knew you were the best at it when it came to cracking people. You turned to Katie who had the most terrifying smile you have ever seen in your life and past lifes. Leah walked over to you with a smug and extended her hand "do we have an accord" she said in a posh accent

"I Accept" You stood up and shock to the team clapping and voicing excitement. As Leah back to her seat you gently pulled her towards you with a evil smirk "Sonny!" You said gaining the Korean's attention "Yes?" "You don't happen to have a spare Tottenham shirt i can borrow right?" You asked in a innocent voice to which Leah's grin dropped and the blood drained from her face as the room started to giggle. "Yes i do, Why would you need one" He said smiling innocently "Just thinking Leah suits white and black clothing" Leah gave you a glare before returning to her seat.

The bet was on!!!!!

After many training sessions, interviews, social media posts, recordings for tv and youtube

The day was here, The team arrived at a sold out Wembley Stadium. Fans were on a high to watch football, see interactions they thought they would never see. The whole team was excited and determined to have a great match.

The team would go out for the last training session on the field before the game, it was there you would see the other team on the other side of the pitch and there she was. Your challenge Millie Bright, you looked at the Lioness she was quite the looker and you shamelessly checked her out. But then had an idea that hopefully would work, It was simple. She just needed to look at you. and thankfully she did.

She caught you looking at her and she nodded at you but frowned at little when you didn't nod back. She waved but all you did was smirk and went back to warm up. You were all ready trying to get inside the Chelsea captain's head.

The match was about to start, you walked out to the field with your team and waiting to shake the enemy teams hand and say good games and such. As you looked around you had to admit. Being in Wembley, on the pitch in front of that crowd was something.

You felt like a immortal everytime you played there, the cheers, the atmosphere. To you Wembley was the stage where legends made. And you know that after you scored the last minute goal for arsenal in the F.A Cup final against West Ham last season. You loved it here.

You were shaken out of your thoughts as you saw Sam Kerr approach you, clasping your hand and both winking at each other before saying "Have a good game" and this would continue down the line until you held Millies hand and gave a smirk which made frown a little bit.

As the match kicked off, you went to your position and found yourself marked by Millie. You glanced at Hemp who gave you a smile and raised her eyebrows at you

"This gonna be a great match" you said to Mille "Yeah it's crazy it's happening" She said in a happy voice

"Too bad i didnt get the male chelsea captain to deal with"

"Ooh is that How's it gonna be?" Millie replied in a amused voice as she glanced at you as you just gave a smirked.

A couple minutes later, you would find yourself running through on goal and was heading towards goal as you feel Millie trying to push you off the ball as Eddison was ready to challenge you. As Millie tried to kick the ball away she ended up dragging you down but you got a kick out of it but Eddison's fingers tip skimmed the ball enough to divert it to the post.

Next thing you knew you hit the ground hard as you felt someone fall on you. You looked at who was on top of you and was Millie "Sorry if that was a bit rough, you ok?" She said with her own smirk trying to get back at you. You couldn't help but get hot under the collar feeling her hot breath fall on you as she was on top of you but you remained composed

"Nah I'm good. I like it Rough, especially in the postion" you said in a flirty voice as you looked Millie up and down who responded with a flabbergasted face before she quickly got up and brushed herself off. You evilly cackle to yourself loud enough to hear.

Later as your team received a corner you would take your postion and felt a strong presence behind you. You glance to see Millie. She stood next to you as she got ready to fight in the air. You felt her hand on your waist.

"Oh Millie" You said in a fake shock but flirty voice. To which Millie give you a seconed look and glared at you. But heard McCabe cackle and you saw Kerr in front of you starting to chuckle. And a friendly bump on the arm by walker. But at that moment you heard the whistle and the ball was kicked in by Hemp and you locked on to the ball and was about to jumped but saw Haaland jump into the air for the header. You would jocky agaisnt Millie and you managed to throw off balanced so she couldn't challenge Haaland who buried it into the net.

Thr crowd cheered as the team chased Haaland but before you ran, you looked to Millie who was in the ground.

"That wasn't the brightest idea, Brighty!" You said before running off. Not noticing Rachel Daly heard the pun and couldn't help but feel proud at the pun. "It'd beginning to look like you gonna be wearing that spurs shirt Leah" Daly said as he walked past a worried Leah. Millie was being broken down slowly.

The game was 1-1 and you weren't slowing down with the jabs either, you tell Millie irratation was rising. "You seem to not be enjoying the match Millie. What could be wrong?" Nothing. You were standing behind her and couldn't see her face as you started to walk in front of her getting ready to make a run for the ball as the counter attack was coming "It's a nice view by the way Millie"

"What?"

"You backside"

"E-excuse me!" You heard her say in a shock voice as she stuttered the sentence out. In that moment before she could register you sprinted off towards the goal as Son lobbed the ball towards the goal as the chased it. "LITTLE SHIT!" You heard Millie shout trying to chase you down. The sentence threw her off long enough for you acceleration to get distance on her. You saw Maguire coming in for a tackle to which you did a Ronaldo chop to the left sending Maguire sliding in embarrassment. The crowd rained oohh and cheers, as you continued but the slight delay of the move let Millie catch up and you then would pull off a Cruyff turn which resulted in something the world rarely saw with Millie Bright. You sent Millie falling face first onto the ground, you didn't looked back as you ran towards the goal you were one on one with Eddison. Calm and collected to curled the ball past the Brazilian into the goal which led to cheers and claps as you ran off to find Son to thank him for the assist. "LETS GO SONNY BOY!" As you embraced each other and felt others join the bundle. Not knowing Bright was at her limit

Half time would come along and you would walk back to the locker room not before noticing a glare from Millie

You sat down waiting for Pep to talk about the game plan and you felt hands on your shoulders "I can't see much from my postion but I think you winning this bet L/N" you hear Mary Earps say. You turn to her "yeah I feel bad though, hopefullyshe doesn't kill me" you grimaced "Oh she is gunning for you. I saw her face and know what that face means. Whatever happens Just apologise after the game. Hopefully you haven't pushed her too far that we never see you again" She said patting you in the back. Rest of the team walked in over the next couple minutes.

After the talk about the game plan and getting ready to go back out, you see Leah "You seem quiet Leah" Leah sighed

"Cause she bit off more then she could chew" Foden cheekly said as he grabbed a drink "Are you really gonna make her wear a Tottenham shirt? Couldn't be me" Declan Rice said giving you a friendly punch on the arm Leah groaned in annoyance "I'm getting annoyed here" She voiced in the room "So is Bright, You gonna be a good assistant" hear McCabe say as you and her step put of the locker room "ATLEAST I DIDN'T GET BOOKED A YELLOW!" You hear Leah shout at Katie before the door shut behind you, leaving you and Katie laugh as you walk back to the field

You were running into the box as a counter attack was on and Rice lobbed the ball into the box and you went to for the ball but felt a pain in your back sending flying as you jumped and just narrowly missing the goal post and falling to the ground. You gasped the wind was knocked out of you and winced "Jesus" you said sat up and saw Millie staring at you "Oh are you ok? I didn't break you did i?" She said in a sarcastic tone. You smirked "Yeah I deserve that one" you winched as you sat up "Yeah ya did brat" as she walked towards to you and extended her hand. You accepted her hand "Though I must say, You hit me so hard I started to angels. Then one helped me up" You winked at her "Oh for the love of"

*Whistle blows*

You notice the sub board

You run off to the sideline not before clapping and sending love to the crowd, high fiving the team and the enemy team

You glanced at Leah and wiggled your eyebrows. You won the bet and she looked miserable and fearful for that 24 hours

You approached your replacement Bethany England who became a close friend of yours during the All star team training.

You doubled high fived her "She all weared down for ya Bethy" She smiled and shook her head "GO GET ONE" You shouted to the the Tottenham captain

The match ended 5-3 to your team. You would shake hands and show respects

"Oi Millie!" You saw her coming towards you, You put your hands up as a sign of meaning no harm "You really a tough defend-Oof" She shoulder barged you into a stagger and walked to her team. You looked at her leave and then glanced at Daly who gave you, you are in trouble and I fear for your life look. You were shaken from your thoughts by two Tottenham players calling you. You turned with a smile and jogged to Son and Bethany for the trophy lift.

You be lying if you said you didn't feel bad about Millie. You admit you did a bit much especially in efforts for a bet. You found yourself in a secluded area of the hotel both teams would away for the night. You asked Leah if you could have Millies contact details in efforts to apologise. To which she did even after the endless teasing from the team after losing the bet. The team all agreed that Millie cleary let you in her head. You messaged the lioness

"Hey Millie, it's Y/N. Leah gave me your number. I wanted to apologise for my actions I got carried away and went to far in my shit talking today and I am at the hotel and I wanted to apologise in person. If you want nothing to do with me I understand"

"What door number and I will you at 11 pm"

You responded with the door and was left on read thus leading to you waiting outside your door with it open with anxiety building

"OI L/N!" You eyes snapped to the voice and there she was a furious lion that was Millie Bright marching towards you that you would say was murderous intent. Oh she gonna kill you. You put your arms up in defence

"Ok Millie, I'm sorry I really messed and you are very right to be piss-" You were cut off by Millie shoving into your room sending you stumbling. You hear the door slam and felt Millie grabbed you and put you agaisnt the door. You breath quicken as her face was inches away from yours as her breath was heavy and her eye were starring into your soul.

We only lack of a and DM which we have names in la masia such as Marc Bernal or Pau Prim, another CB, and for GK i would say tenas but idk if he is coming back but we also have Astralaga and Kochen who still havent debuted in laliga. Im looking forward for another la masia XI once again

With the influx of la masía kids making it to the first team lately I wouldn't be surprised if it happens as soon as next season. Bernal will probably start getting called up next season, another CB could be Chadi Riad if we buy him back like some reports said we will, as for the GK there's peña but I'm hoping tenas would come back ☹️

Yeah I agree competition is important amd the regular starters needs to be challenged might get us more formations (Björn is kind of used to playing a back 3, so maybe if we want to me able to sometimes play with that and push up the wings a bit?). Back 4 fits as well though

And for some players, just being at a big club with the best conditions is enough, because they will still develop more in that training environment than playing games in theirs own club but I am sure there is a limit

Not talking specifically about Björn now but let’s say a player is used to play every game of the season. They could probably settle for playing 75 % of the games (also going to England means another cup = more games anyways) but what about down to 60%? Even 50%?

The answer to that is of course very individual, and might vary based on which positions they play. The more attacking players are more used as subs but defenders more rarely gets subbed in/off, GKs almost never

yeah i agree that there’s gonna be a limit and i guess it’s gonna depend also on what was promised when the club went looking for player and how much of that’s been met since they came. i hardly think any player is happy being benched but then one can argue (more so with forwards and creative midfielders) that there are some players that do much better coming from the bench (characteristically wise i guess).

about the % playing time between competitions, i can see how it might affect a player’s confidence and therefore their game. idk. yeah the answer is gonna be individual because it’s gonna be about the player’s choices and if they’re willing to, say, look at chelsea (and now specifically talking about defenders) and think ‘well the backline looks pretty settled, can i go and argue i could provide something more there, knowing what it might cost for me’ and all that. some players might say no thats not what im looking for in this moment in my career and that’s alright, at the end of the day it’s their decision and how much of an attractive offer chelsea can provide i guess.

I told you my opinion and my hopes on my new favorite girls who have had their misedashi this year. It’s not very objective because I don’t speak about some of them. Also this is just a quick opinion nothing too serious I don’t claim to know those girls.

1/Mizuno from Fukushima okiya (GK) and debuted march 4th 2018. I really enjoyed seeing Mizuno blossom this year and with such a good onesan as Fumino I think this girl is well set for a sucessful career! She does have a lovely look which make me wait for her pictures always! (Source)

2/Mameyo of Arai okiya (GK) debuted march 7th 2018. I’m reeeally into her ! Her okiya is know to recruit talented dancer and she surely is one of them! And with Mameroku as onesan (which im glad she have the opportunity to have that role) Mameyo can only progress! (Source)

3/Kanochiyo (l) and Kanohisa (r) from Kanoya okiya (GH) debuted october 4th 2018. Im always hyped for new Gion Higashi’s girls and those two look adorable! I wish them the best of luck and im sure they will shine! (Source)

4/Ichigiku from the Ichi okiya (K) debuted october 24th 2018. I love to see new face at Ichi okiya ! And having such a prestigious onesan as Umegiku could only serve this lovely young lady! And what a lovely face im looking forward to see her progress! (Source)

5/Ichisumi from Yamaguchi okiya (P) debuted january 8th 2018. She is the imouto of Ichisayo who is a geiko that i love! So i can only root for the little sister you know! And she does have a lovely “pontocho like” silhouette and look! (Source)

Do you think Vlatko will keep Long? She’s pretty useless on the NT. Also do you think he will put Dunn up at forward or midfield and seek natural defenders? And yes! 3rd string has to go. Bledsoe and Murphy are 100x better but I see Naeher and AD going to Tokyo unless he wants Murphy and Naeher.

I mean I think long will likely stay in the nt pool overall but not for the olympics. i think he needs to have a conversation with himself about horan too. carli’s last cycle is coming. it’s hard to say with hybrid players like ko and dunn, he’ll probably keep her defensively for now. the nt doesn’t lack forward capability, but a new take on that capability would be nice. dunn herself has even said she’ll feel a sense of relief if she got moved back up and out of left back. idk how much he’ll experiment, as he doesn’t tend to experiment with club rosters too much once he knows his talent, but when you’re in control of such a large nt pool i’m not sure how you couldn’t. but I think he’ll def bring in rookies and nwsl players who have been looked over before. he found a lot of new talent - and useful talent who stuck around and carried the season for the reign - mostly bc of all the injuries we had - but was able to bring in a successful rotating group of almost triple the amount of normal roster players this year. and he found balcer - way under the radar and on no division teams - and look how she’s flourished. interesting who else he will scout and invite - players that would never be found unless they played for top ncaa teams otherwise. it just reminds me of what hope and others have said about the importance of grassroots youth talent and how ussf is notorious for being saturated with only elite top division or wealthy soccer communities. 

im also hoping the overall style of play of the nt shifts a little. it can be so stagnant and boring sometimes. but im not holding my breath. the fed will always want results and wins over style or substance, like thats been pretty clear over the years. on that note, it makes sense for harvs not to be named the next coach (by personal choice or not) bc, while she can obviously produce results, overall her mentality is geared more towards chemistry and the brand of football being played, always over the immediate results. but both vlakto and harvs are guilty of continuing to play certain players who need to be benched once in awhile or shifted on the field (taylor for reign currently and mathias for past tense reign under harvs). we’ve had to watch two seasons now of vlatko continuing to start taylor over others while she’s more often than not held the offense back rather than contributed to it. defense and gk wise I think he will bring in new talent and test them. i mean the nt is pretty solid in all levels right now if you really step back and look at it, but natural defenders to build around your centerback foundation is always nice. I miss the days of a solid centerback pairing in broon and cap. master and apprentice. and while the nt defense has managed to get by the years with jello’s relentless experimenting, its obvious that is the first line you want to solidify. it needs to happen again. im not really sure why the nt gk coaches all these years have been so adamant in keeping mediocre backup talent like ashlyn but hopefully vlatko sharpens that blade. some players just do not translate talent over to the nt from club and thats just the way it is. move on and get better. its been necessary long term for awhile now. over the next few years and after the olympics players are going to retire and be phased out. and another cycle of nt growth begins. I’m just hoping the mentality and culture of the team grows with the departure of jello and some older players too.

bolt - striker. really fast, but somewhat reckless. doesn’t have a good accuracy record but gets a lot of openings by just running away with the ball

flare - offensive midfielder/playmaker. great dribbler and good gamesense (idk if thats the right word but im a gamer and its all i can think of sdklhsd)

terra - defensive midfielder. great passer. can also jump really high.

I’ve been meaning to get into the series and now that the anime has a bad CGI bear I’m interested in the manga! Who are some of your favorite characters to look out for? How much of it actually IS comedy? What would you tell a new reader about the series before diving in?

I really dont think the bad CGI ruins the whole thing?? - I’ve seen people complaining about pace too but honestly the first volume was already fast paced to begin with. I’d still say that manga should be read but anime’s not a bad option either - I can’t ofc know how much it bothers people when watching but yeah. Time restraints on industry are harsh and they are not paid well either. 

Fair amount of comedy, a lot of it even - I think the earlier volumes are slightly lower on it (Noda even said he tried to make them more serious in an interview lol) but yeah, after that there’s A LOT of comedy but it doesn’t ruin the plot’s presence there or anything though granted the pace is slow (though first volumes are actually fairly fast, Abashiri arc is next HUGE push forward but there’s stuff before that)

BUT oh god i love all of the cast honestly Ogata’s easy to mention but otherwise Asirpa being such good multifaceted character, i cant explain her very well honestly but she’s so well-grounded character, she appears pretty solemn at first but she’s can be goofy, tough but also obviously a girl of …about 16-17s years old? Maybe? possibly younger, as well but im guessing those since they talked about her getting her lips tattooed. I get in tears thinking about her given how much she has gone through. The survivalist of the group, knows her way in the nature, modern ainu as she says it (her name means the future). Became a piece of cog in a big machination without her knowing.  

Then there’s Tsurumi who’s like probably one of my all time villain faves, not just gk-wise, he has really strong presence with that eccentric, morbid …way he just is. Intelligence officer who’s very good in validating others to get them to follow him - manipulative, brutal… Occasionally leaks brain juices but his brain injury isn’t really the reason he’s like this (or at least it’s not the sole reason). Not exactly at the peak of his sanity but rational enough to know exactly what he’s doing.

Those are just two but if I start going about all of them this’ll never end but there’s Shiraishi, Koito, Tsukishima, Nikaidou, Kadokura, Inkarmat…. yeah i wont list them my faves actually change up a lot lol.

Uhh I would warn of gore, especially on the manga, it’s not…overpowering presence there imo like it doesn’t feel overdone to me anyway but it is there. You’ll see entrails, guts, loads of animals dying (not for fun or shock value though) and their innards, people’s innards… You’ll see a dude uhhhh getting cozy with a bear to put it in a nice way but uh zoophiliac basically,  granted it’s a criminal but… it’s there, somehow, and it’s worth of warning. Nudity - there’s dick shadows out there even (absolutely no fanservice of Asirpa though so thats one thing you dont need to worry about), I can’t exaggerate this, though more on latter half of the series laughs. A big portion of side charas (and some on maincast) are brutal criminals. I…m tired I might be missing something here??

In HIMYM Season 3, there was an episode when Lily and Marshal talked about their meet cute story like a choreographed dance. Here is my version :

August 22, 2014 the day we first met. It was the day you said I slow motioned as I entered the door. I actually caught you staring but I thought it was because I came in late around 10:30-11:00 and my first greeting to Riz and Orio was “Uy, bat ang aga nyo”. I was actually embarassed when I realized that you and your batchmates are sitting near us. Perhaps you thought I was a walking felony. What an impression to make right? I had no plans of coming in that day. There were no seniors around as they are on an overseas team building. But ofcourse Kuya NotNot reviewed the GK file and left coaching notes and I cant replicate at home so pumasok ako. Also, I planned on joining Angela on checking out a condominium near the area as I am intending to rent na that time. It was a Friday so I was wearing a white tank top, blue cardigan and jeans. I ate with Riz and Orio at Sbarro for lunch. Interesting why I remember so many things this day. This is the first time I managed to talk to you. I think I went for hi and said welcome. I also remembered asking “how old are you”. It was a relief when I heard youre the same age as I am so you have no right to call me ate but you did anyway (eww. Ate 🙈) I remembered asking who was your buddy. You said its Emron and I said shes pretty. I didnt get the chance to talk much to you as I was talking to Alvin who was my “sibling” being in the same coaching family with Ate Katty. You were sitting next to him. I saw you stare. I think you were listening then but I wasnt so sure. The first email I sent you was a link to the directory database. I wanted to be helpful but the link didnt work ofcourse. I tried clicking the link using your laptop but nothing happened. I laughed and I said sorry. You smiled and said it was alright. The first time we went on field for GK, I was standing next to you waiting for the elevator. You had this “serious-stiffed” vibe and I thought that I might be too giddy for you so I remained quiet instead. I was actually surprised that you got picked for GK since we gave Mikee the power to choose and he was aiming for Bianca or Det. Our first long conversation was in Chowking (youve been on field for quite sometime but we didnt have the chance to talk). We asked you about your engagements. You had a terrible client line up and you were plotted in GK. Massive vouching. I honestly felt bad for you and Shei. 😥 We also asked about your top 3. You said “wala pa eh, d ko pa nakikita lahat” (such a liar). That day Det gave you carbonara she cooked. You offered us some but I think it was quite a lot. Still, you said uubusin mo parin kasi sayang naman. I remember saying youll be a good husband. You asked if I cooked. I said carbonara was my specialty. Sabi mo masarap yun siguro dahil specialty ko (what do you think now?) I remember the time I asked for candy and you went out and brought back some candies when you got back. The candies were helpful. I was feeling dizzy due to the travel from office to GK ( back problems you know). Among the candies you bought" I was reaching out for the Yakee. I didnt know na gusto mo rin pala yun. But were fair and square cos when I brought three in one coffees for the team you got MY great taste white. The only coffee I drink. My favorite. I was sad. I ended up with nescafe. But when I learned that it was your first coffee and you said you like it, I felt better. I made you drink coffee! Which is nice. I remember the time you brought puto and offered some to us. I ate 2. Haha. Its the best puto ever. Im glad that now your mom makes some of them especially for me. Remember when we got stranded in GK due to the storm. It was the 2 of us who were checking outside kahit baha to see if the road is passable so we can go home. May kasama pa tayong 2 Japanese nun. You carried my bag (as usual) and I remember the look in your face when we asked you to ride the taxi with Shei and the Japanese interns. I saw you look back. I wish it was us who stayed. When it was your last day in GK because you have an inventory count for Bayer the following day, Ate Aly said that she will miss you. I was thinking about the same thing but I dont know, Im usually expressive but I was shy. I cant even hold your arm when crossing the street. Para akong makukuryente. Your first treat to me was Jollibee and pineapple juice from 711. That day was the first time I was able to hold your hand because there is a piece of wood stuck in your palm and I helped you remove it. It was the day I saw you remove your glasses and saw how brown your eyes were. I remember that Mikee was so pissed that day because he was waiting outside while we were talking. I think we were talking about me going to the gym and you telling me not to lift weights so I wont get muscular. I remember laughing at you when I saw you sleeping and drool. It was a picture perfect memory. I laughed while writing this part btw. Hahahaha. Remember the time we ate at Chowking and we ordered the same thing? Except that my wonton had more noodles and yours had more soup. I was sick then and you offered to give me some of your soup and in turn I gave you some of my noodles. Its so cute when you think about it. I was sad that day and that gesture made me happy. I thought you should know. That morning before going to field you told me to drink my meds when you learned that I was sick. I admit I was kilig. (Kaya sabi ko sayo wag ka ganun sa ibaaaa). I also remember that time when the two of us went on field, yung tayo lang. Tanda mo yung naiihi ako and you tried to distract me para di ako maihi? You carried my bag as we went back to the office para makatakbo ako. Thennnn we got milktea, nilibre kita! It was your first dakasi. Masarap diba? ( speaking of dakasi, madami ka utang ) We have limited interaction at the office. Our normal conversation would comprise of me requesting if you could give me a copy of the walking dead episode for the week. Your first chat in messenger was a link to the online streaming of walking dead season 4 pisode 1. If there is no walking dead, none of this would have happened so we better watch that series altho it sucks now :(( It was christmas party at the buddha bar when I first saw you on a different light. You were wearing red and standing amidst your batchmates who were dancing like crazy. I think I went for aww and said your girlfriend must really be so lucky she has nothing to worry about. Good boy e (good boy ba talaga? Hmmm) I get to know more about you through Faith because she keeps telling me how good you are as a person. She told me na willing sha magpatayo ng rebulto para sayo. I also heard the story about the “buntis sa baha” from Grace and my response was “my heart huhu”. I thought back then that you are such a good person. You have a big heart. And when I get to know you, I realized its an understatement. Your heart is enormous and golden ( Im referring to your heart ❤ hahaha )Our first long chat I think was the time when I ranted about the sucky inventory count I had in Bayer. Our first long exchange of text messages was after the Ilocos trip and we talked about stargazing. Then we started to talk. I was at home watching game of thrones and you going to Palawan with your batchmates. I got worried when you told me there is a riot outside the morning of your flight. Our first phone call was when I gave you instructions on how to change a child’s diaper and when I asked you to sing for me. It was July 6, 2015. Then we talked more and more. You became my bestfriend, my confidant, my human diary, my Sis. At the end of a tiring day I look forward to hearing your voice. Hearing about your day. Talking about everything. Slowly, I fell for you, head over heels inlove with you, and the rest, was history.

So RE: Kane/Bookaku debacle on the pod we decided to go with what was initially dialed in - simple - Kun to Kane. Walsh later chimed in after listening to the pod from Japan to “fuck Lukaku” and bring in Kane and cap him :).. so there we have that. I think Romelu is NOT essential going forward except for this week. Not having big Rom this week is a very very scary risk but Walsh plays dangerously and so here we are.

The second transfer was done when me and Walsh were texting today, like 6pm my time and 7am his time in Japan we got it done. We decided to fuck off Valencia and that whole headache. Hard to imagine him starting more then 1 match in their next three and we decided to triple up Palace who have a great fixture this week and obviously the double next week. Ward the safest/most nailed fuck in their backline so here we are. And Walsh obviously a massive Palace supporter made it all sweeter.

GK: Big Tom Heaton 4 life. But actually not for life he will probably be fucked off by Walsh next week for Valdes.

DEF: Alonso 4 actual life (fuck off Tom). Bellend is away at ‘Boro so maybe Arsenal will keep a clean? Don’t hold ur breath. New great friend Joel Ward comes in against a shitty ass Leicester side who will probably rest 4-5 lads before their UCL second leg vs Atletico (which is now all that matters for them).

MID: Keeping Siggy and Ayew was decided on by Guest Jason, Derek, and me on the pod and so here we are. Siggy is at Watford (PLUM) and brother of Jordan is at Sundy (PLUM) so all of our fingers are crossed that we did good by Walsh. Wilf the legend easily keeps his place and Alexis on thin ice (but not really) is well overdue a tit for the both of us.

FWD: Walsh loooooves Kane. I remember Walsh getting in Kane in 13/14 season when I barely knew who he was and he was priced at like 5.5 mil.. It’s nice for Walsh to have Kane back reunited with Harold or Harrison or who cares. Ibra absolutely nailed into all relevant FPL squads from GW34 onwards with their two upcoming doubles and rounded out by the of nowhere confident Benteke who could haul home vs Leicester. I feel it at least.

OK I’ve been tinkering for literally hours today. I’m worthless. Here’s where I ended up and I’ll dig into it below:

GK: Pickford the god has been in my team a long long time and I surprisingly don’t hate him, I kind of love him. That’s saying a lot tbh..

My second GK is Valdes purely for the ‘Boro double gameweek next week. He probably won’t start again for me all season.

DEF: We were all talking shit on Alonso on our text thread and then he put in a peach of a FK and everything was immediately retracted. I know the clean sheets yada yada yada but we love him for his attacking intent. We’re getting basically an attacking winger for 6.4 (when I bought him) who’s out of position listed as a defender and therefore gets clean-sheet points on a top three defense. He’ll also be essential for GW36 and GW37.. It’s simple as that so back off of me and him. Starting Kelly this week home to Leicester - Palace are in scenic form and as I wrote above Leicester are shit and will be resting a bunch of people. Could be a cheeky clean / baps type of game from old friend Martin who should be nailed for at least the next 3-4 matches with their injuries and Sakho unable to play vs LFC. And lastly Holgate in there as mostly an enabler with his cheapness but also because I want to start him this week home Burnley so that’s all that needs to be said about that. Fuck Burnley...

Rounding out the bench Bailly is in as one of only two nailed United defenders (the other being Rojo). Bailly I like a lot more and is seemingly much better on bonus so I’m there. He’s also just a way better player for me which I’m hoping secures his spot more firmly when other guys eventually return. Stephens another bench dweller and $$$ enabler but he’s seemingly nailed. He will not see the pitch for me until GW35 home to Hull (maybe) and then the two doubles GW36 and GW37.

MID: Alli I’ve been saying for weeks on weeks is the best midfielder in the game in terms of value and tits. Kane back is a small dent as Spurs will still fuck most teams sideways. Alli not goin’ anywhere. Alexis I presented my case for him on the pod and my inability to part with him is a large part of the reason I ended up wildcarding after all. Yes he’s in bad form, yes he’s playing out wide, yes Arsenal are fucked up right now. But I think over the rest of the season and two doubles his class will shine through. You wanna leave in the summer Alexis? Show me. Zaha one of the few who kept their place in my squad through the wildcard grinder and how could he not do? He’s a fucking festival and will probably get sold for 50million this summer. Not to mention he doubles in GW34. And lastly King. It had to be King. It’s the obvious move and the template move but he’s just the best guy for the spot since the Southampton’s first (of two) double gameweeks is further away then we thought it’d be. If, say, Soton were doubling this week or GW35 I’d’ve maybe gone Redmond or JWP instead but I cannot reason that in this moment. Go on Josh.

My bench / 5th mid is Romeu. I was tinkering with this spot maybe most of all spots. I had a cheeky Leadbitter in there (good stats but not nailed) and some other fucks too. I ended up with Romeu and his nailedness and his two doubles approaching. He doesn’t have any attacking prowess whatsoever but he will probably play ~360 minutes over GW36 and GW37 and that at minimum is 4 points per GW. Maybe some clean sheets and maybe some bones that could rise a bit. But I’ll take 4 points a week.

FWD: The holy trinity. Romelu the god home Burnley this week looking to cement the fuck out of his very shiny golden boot. King Kane returns and we have all wasted no time to get there. He’s the best player in FPL and there is really no one else to even consider ahead of him for me. And lastly Ibra. Nothing more to be said for Ibra. We all know he’s not explosive and we all know that he’s essential. I hate saying players are essential but Ibra really is.

CAP: Sticking with my pod guns and keeping it on Rom. Kane is sooooo tempting because of his much lower ownership percentage but I gotta stick with my twats here. Kane might not start or might just play 60-70 minutes and Lukaku at home vs shit teams is as automatic as one can get this season. Let’s ride it.

Even though it is tough for me to imagine kicking two of my favorite bros to the curb, it seems that Alon did a good job of convincing me live on the pod this week to bring on one of my FPL debut strikers, Bookaku, and the mouth breather, Harold "my real fucking name is Harry" Kane. I will take the -4 hit, which I have only done maybe once or twice this whole year, it makes sense to me due to their tasty fixtures and likely high captaincy rates. Additionally, I still do not have any Spurs players so it seems prudent to finally bring one on.  Harry, please treat some dongs for me and make this reunion worthwhile.

GK: For the first time since GW27, I am going to go with General Lee Grant.  Tommy Boy is playing at Everton and I am hoping Bookaku scores a hat trick against while the fusion of the Confederate and Union archenemy Generals is playing Hull at home.

DEF: Fresh off a delightful dinner with my parents and me, Marcos A. will get his spot, per usual.  Chelsea is playing Manure so not necessarily expecting a clean, but Alonso's constant flanking of the wing and involvement in the offense makes him a locked starter on my side.  My other Stoke lad and a stalwart on my squad since GW1, Pieters, will also get the start.  Lastly, I will go with Valencia and hope he plays more than 60' despite Mou's vague comments about his status.  He played all 90' in the Europa match but with all of United's fixture pile up, who really knows what will happen with him.  If Valencia gets rested, I will have Holebas first off my bench.

MID: With Arsenal desperate for a win, Alexis survives one more week on my side and I expect him to return against Shiddlesbrough. Wenger's recent remarks that Alexis prefers to play wide than upfront makes me think he may not be back up top this season which makes me sad, alas.  Another one of my loyal lieutenants, Siggy, will get his spot again.  No assists or goals since GW 28 has been a complete joke, but the tide must turn for him and his desperate shit team.  Leroy Sané gets his second start for my side this weekend.  He hasn't returned in a couple of gameweeks but I really have loved his involvement and the chances he has had in recent memory.  With Kun out for me, he is now my only City representation.  Lastly, but certainly not least, Wilfried gets the final spot for my team this week. Returning in three of his last five fixtures he has looked great and Palace has also been playing very well, beating Chelsea and Arsenal in two of the last three gameweeks.  I am hoping for at least an assist from Mr. Zaha this week against Leicester.

FWD: Divock gets his likely last go around for me ahead of bringing on Zlatan next week for the doubles.  I am kinda nervous that Sturridge will get the nod ahead of Origi but fingers are crossed.  My two new lads, Rom and Kane, will get the last two slots up front.  Nothing else needs to be said here.

CAP: BOOKAKU. This is not a very exciting or unique captain shout but feels like a safe and responsible move.  Kane versus Bournemouth is also on my mind but I am still nervous that he will not play the full game.  Although Bookaku has frustrated me at times this year in certain games when it seems like he is barely involved or even touches the ball, it cannot be overlooked that he has the second most points in all of FPL, only behind Alexis.  Burnley is a nice fixture at home so hoping for an explosion from the Belgian while Everton try to make an unlikely push for a top four finish.
