I figured I'll post a quick tutorial for y'all since I keep seeing posts with screenshots that could be very easily described.

This can be done both from mobile and from your computer, in like half a minute.

Basically all you need to do is open the images in Google Lens:

Then just press on the post's text and copy it. Simple as that.

Then to add the image id, you have two options: alt text or text under the image.

For alt text, while you're making a post, just press the three dots on the image. Then just describe in a few words a screenshot of what it is, and paste the content of it.

If you're adding it in a reblog or just don't wanna use alt text for some reason, I usually add clear indicators of where the image description starts and where it ends. This format is pinned in my clipboard:

That's it. That's all you have to do. If you do this for waterboarded screenshot do it before the waterboarding because it makes it harder for Google lens to recognise the text. Also make sure to read what you copied because it can still make mistakes.

Make jumblr more accessible! Especially when you add images to posts that already have described images in them.

i think its kinda funny that ibis paint is regarded as the Broke Artist App or whatever (as opposed to more mainstream programs like csp or procreate) because its free and because of how popular it is with phone + finger artists while im jusg sitting here having used ibis for a cool eight years on purpose.

like i have an ipad and an apple pencil and all theyre very nice and i absolutely could move to a more powerful program i have the resources to do so but my change averse brain has decided they like it here a lot and im not leaving
