you had gone on a small trip with your friends for a few days, and the absence of your presence was taking a bigger toll on jungwon than he had expected. but he did his best to convince himself that he only had two more days to survive without you, which would pass in no time, and before he would know it, you’d be back in his arms.

literally, before he would know it, because little did he know, you were planning on coming back a day early to surprise him.

so with a final goodbye for the night and a quick exchange of ‘i love you’s, you hung up the phone, and got into bed excitedly anticipating the next day when you’d get to see him again, because even though you didn’t show it as much as he did, you missed him more than you could possibly imagine.

as you laid in bed, you pictured how he would react when he’d see you for the first time in a week, the smile that would light up his face at the sight of you, the pure joy that would radiate from him… you couldn’t wait.

eventually, you opened your eyes, and it was already the next morning. you were surprised you were even able to fall asleep last night, considering all of the overwhelming exhilarating feelings inside of you. but you got up quickly, ready to start the day and to see your boyfriend again as soon as possible.

and many hours and pit stops later, there you were, standing in front of jungwon’s door.

you took a deep breath in, and let it out with a smile on your face. you knocked.

you could imagine the confused look washing over jungwon’s features, likely wondering who would be here at this hour, but before you could think about what would come next, the sound of the door unlocking snapped you back to reality.

the door swung open, and there stood your boyfriend, rubbing his eyes awake from what you assumed was a nap.

you stood there waiting for him to actually glance at the person outside his door, and when he finally looked up, his eyes widened to the size of golf balls.

“what!” he exclaimed as he brought you in for the tightest, warmest hug, it literally took your breath away. “what are you doing here?! wait what time is it—what day is it? did i miss picking you up from the airport?!”

with panic filling his voice, you pulled away, “first of all, hi, it��s nice to see you too. and second of all, don’t worry, it’s 6 pm and still friday. i came back early!”

katsuki glances down to eri as he ushers her downstairs in the u.a. dorm, from his room all the way to the kitchen. he's tired - of course he is, his sleep was poor and he didn't have enough of it - but she came by his room and asked for him specifically. so, like any decent person does at an odd hour of the morning with an aching arm, he's brought her down to make her something to eat.

she worries, though. she expresses it when she asks her question, and katsuki only hesitates briefly while he digs out ingredients for a pancake batter. kids liked sweet shit, right ? [ and nobody was around to tell her no. ] his brows furrow as he paces back over, slower. ❛ 'course it's fine, unicorn. ❜

it's odd, the list of exceptions he'll make for her but not for others / he'll make breakfast for her but leave his friends to make their own, lest they grow dependent on his skill. he'll let her wake him up at whatever hour of the day but blow up his friends for trying the same thing. he'll begrudgingly accept whatever task from aizawa he gets that involves her, mostly because that sad kicked puppy stare pisses him off and he doesn't like having to deal with the aftermath.

he's come to accept it. it doesn't bother him so much as it did at first, evident in the way katsuki puts together the pancake batter, rations out exact amounts.

So many people write to you about IMY and tell you how they imagine things would be like ,telling you different scenarios, how characters interact with each other . Do you draw inspiration from that, for future one shots after you finish with the story?

I love when people enjoy my characters enough to send asks like that, it's really sweet, but tbh I don't tend to look to them for inspiration when it comes to writing the main fic. I have a very good idea of where I'm going with everything already, so a lot of those interactions are more of an 'imagine if this happened' type of thing. It's really fun though, and this is absolutely not to discourage anyone from sending those asks, I just tend to keep them separate from my writing process.

That being said, once the main fic is finished, I'd be happy to return to those ideas if I'm ever writing one-shots or prompts for them in future!

Of Lúthien Tinúviel and Beren Erchamion, and of Túrin Turambur, in the Indis/Míriel roleswap world.

I. - Of Beren and Lúthien

Beren, a man of the House of Bëor, now the only of his people, saw Lúthien princess of Doriath in the forest. Tinúviel, he called her, and Lúthien and Beren soon found themselves in a love deep. Thingol was however displeased by this, as Lúthien was his dear daughter and Beren he deemed unworthy of her. Thingol told Beren that to win Lúthien's hand he must take Nerdanel Anatullë's Þilmaril from Moringotto, as Thingol both wished Beren death and wanted a Þilmaril for himself, after seeing the Þilmaril of Míriel Ingtári.

Beren departed to Nargoflecarta and received Findaráto's assistance for the debt he owed. Although Fëanáro perceived the seeming foolishness of such a quest, he did not speak against it, only warning Findaráto of the dangers of Angamando. This warning resulted in many unwilling to join Findaráto, but instead of a company of ten as it may have been in another world, Findaráto was followed by fifty. But that did not stop Gorthaur from killing all, and stripping them of their disguises in a battle of Song with Findaráto. Gorthaur sent werewolves to devour their companions, but Beren was saved by Findaráto breaking his chains and killing the last one in single combat, and so Beren was held alone.

Lúthien learned of this, and although Thingol attempted to stop, she left Doriath to save Beren, upon which she encountered Huan, the hound of Tyelkormo. Huan brought her to Fëanáro and Curumíro, who agreed with her that Nerdanel's Þilmaril could not remain in the hands of Moringotto. Fëanáro, still heartbroken from her death, pervaded to assist Lúthien, but she only asked for the assistance of Huan.

Daeron her brother followed after her yet did not find her, and is said to have been lost in the woods.

Lúthien and Huan travelled to where Gorthaur had made his fortress, and defeated him, rescuing Beren and giving Findaráto a proper burial, in which of Findaráto's family only Fëanáro and Curumíro attended. Curumíro then gave Beren Angrist, a knife made by his friend Telchar, to cut his mother's Þilmaril from the crown of Moringotto, at Fëanáro's prompting. Lúthien told Fëanáro of the specific requirements, and Fëanáro told Lúthien that his wife's Þilmaril could stay in Thingol's hands, although he loathed to say it. Curumíro, sensing his father's grief, allowed them to pass, and Huan to stay in Lúthien's company.

Later then did Lúthien, Huan, and Beren reach the fortress of Angband, in which Lúthien using her mother's Maiarin power managed to fell all of Moringotto's court and defenses by Singing them to sleep. Beren then used Angrist given to him by Curumíro to cut Nerdanel Anatullë's Þilmaril, breaking it to pieces, which woke Moringotto.

Lúthien and Beren then fled from Angamando and were yet assailed upon by the werewolf Carcharoth, who bit off the hand of Beren which was holding Nerdanel's Þilmaril. Carcharoth then flew into Doriath with his pain from the Þilmaril, and Beren and Lúthien returned to Doriath. Upon seeing Beren without a Þilmaril, Thingol was angry, but Beren held up his lost hand and told him that a Þilmaril was indeed in his hand, and Lúthien and Beren were married.

However, Carcharoth was later found, and Thingol, Beren, Beleg Cúthalion, and Huan set out to retrieve the Þilmaril. Huan then perished, and Beren recieved a mortal wound. After Beren's death, Lúthien faded from grief, and in Mandos the halls of Námo she sang before him, and Námo allowed her to see Beren, giving her the choice to go to Valinórë and be parted from Beren or be given the Gift of Men and die with Beren. Lúthien chose the Gift, and Beren and her were returned to life. They had one son Dior Eluchíl, and lived the rest of their lives in happiness.

II. - Of Túrin Turambur

Túrin son of Húrin grew up in Dor-Lómin until the age of nine, in which his mother Morwen sent him to Doriath just before his sister Nienor was born. There he was adopted by King Thingol, and he learned many things in Doriath. He soon became a renowned fighter also, and many of the uruk feared him.

But when he returned from a long time away with Beleg Cúthalion to hunt the uruk, he killed Saeros by accident and fled Doriath. He adopted the name Neithan and led the Gaurwaith, turning them from bandits to uruk-hunters. Beleg the sought him out, and they met, but Beleg could not convince Túrin to return to Doriath. Instead, Beleg obtained permission to stay with Túrin, and Túrin's band captured the dwarf Mîm. Beleg was also granted Anglachel, of Ëol son of Thingol's making. Túrin and his band then kept a land Beleg had brought them to called Dor-Cúarthol for many years, until Mîm betrayed their location. In the chaos, Túrin slew Beleg with meaning to, and Túrin took Anglachel with him.

Túrin and his band then arrived at Nargofelcarta, meeting Artareþto, Findetuillaþþë, Fëanáro, and Curumíro. Although Artareþto though Túrin in positive light, Fëanáro thought he was foolish, and Curumíro was inclined to agree. Túrin had brought Gwindor, Findetuillaþþë's betrothed, to Nargofelcarta, but it had been many years and Findetuillaþþë no longer loved Gwindor. Instead, she found herself loving Túrin. But soon did Artareþto and Findetuillaþþë learn of Túrin's true identity, for he hid it from both. And so Artareþto raised Túrin to a chief councillor.

Túrin, in a moment of foolishness, encouraged the building of a great bridge out of Nargofelcarta and to abandon the city's secrecy. This brought the dragon Glaurung to Nargofelcarta, and in the subsequent battle, Artareþto, Findetuillaþþë, and Gwindor all died, Túrin standing beside as Findetuillaþþë died for he was bespelled by Glaurung lying that Nienor his sister and Morwen his mother were mistreated in Dor-Lómin, when they were in Doriath.

And so Nargofelcarta fell, and Túrin went to Dor-Lómin. He found the Easterling lord Brodda ruling in the place of his father, and killed Brodda in fury. But he doomed his kinswoman Aelin and many of the House of Hador with Brodda's death.

Túrin then went to Brethil, where he named himself Turambur, believing his doom to be over. Brethil was where Findetuillaþþë's grave Haura-In-Eldallë was, and Túrin protected it. But one day he found a woman without memories on the mound, and Túrin greeted her and gave her the name Níniel. Eventually, the two fell in love and married.

But one day Glaurung came upon Túrin and Túrin slew him, but not before Glaurung revealed that Níniel was in actuality Túrin's sister Nienor to Níniel, causing her to kill herself.

Túrin woke after slaying Glaurung to Brandir of the House of Haleth, and Brandir told him that Níniel was Nienor. But Túrin refused to believe him, and killed Brandir. But Mablung marchwarden of Doriath soon confirmed the same truth, and Túrin then slew himself.

And then Túrin was buried near Findetuillaþþë, and Nienor recieved a headstone nearby, but her body was never found.

And so ends the tale of Túrin Turambur.

Do you reply to threads you have the most inspiration for first or do you work on them in the order in which you received them?

the former, but the 'inspiration' comes from synergy: if i can tell a rp partner is excited and invested in a thread/ship/etc, it fuels my focus and i'll prioritise accordingly! though i used to go chronologically and would only very rarely reply to something out of order.

When it comes to replies do you trim your posts? Does it bother you when others don’t trim their own replies? Is trimming not a problem at all?

YES trimming as a is such a pet peeve :c i dont mind it at all as an occasional thing when without computer access etc, but if its all the time i really dont like how messy and confusing it can be. i dont always have pc access either, but in those cases i usually write my replies via mobile and then trim+post them all at once when i do get a chance to be on pc? so i feel like with a bit of effort it's something that can be done but thats just my pref.

⇢ Sanzu would likely insist that you don’t need to go to the doctor because he has just the right pill for it somewhere. So you have to tell him that no, you need to go to a doctor and the pharmacy. No matter how much he insists that “he is the pharmacy”.

“I probably should go to the doc-” achoo-achoo You groaned as you took your temperature, man was that high.

Your boyfriend crossed his arms, “Don’t even think about it.”

You stared at the pink-haired man, “Huh?”

“I got everything here.” He pointed to a toolbox that you knew contained several different types of illicit drugs and medications.

You snickered before bursting out into a laughing fit, causing you to cough violently. Sanzu quickly rushed over to your side, “Take it easy…Are you out of your mind laughing like that?”

“Are you for saying I shouldn’t go to a doctor and to take whatever is in the Druggie Treasure Chest?” You wheezed. Feeling a bit dizzy, you leaned some of your weight onto your boyfriend.

Sanzu grumbled, “I have the same shit they have.”

You shook your head, “Haru, honey…” You wrapped your arms around his neck, “No, you don’t.”

⇢ Sanzu would likely bring you medication, drinks, ice cream, snacks, coloring books, movies to watch, and even fuzzy socks. You’re genuinely overwhelmed with the number of things he brings when you get sick sometimes that you hesitate to tell him that you are sometimes.

“There’s even a face mask set here…” You say quietly, looking up from the bags that Sanzu had brought you, “Why did you buy all of this, though?”

“I didn’t buy all of it,” Sanzu pointed out with a smirk, causing your brow to raise.

“...Haru…” You warned, slowly, putting what you’d taken out of the bag back in, “You didn’t.”

“Come on, you gotta live sometime. Where’s the thrill?” He whispered, leaning in and opening a pack of Twizzlers.

You blinked a bit before sniffing, “Twizzlers are shit. If you’re gonna make that kinda statement, at least eat the Nerds Rope.” You snatched the candy out of the bag and ripped it open with your teeth.

“There’s my Y/N!” He touted with a signature grin.

⇢ He would hold your hair for you when you’re sick to your stomach, making sure to rub gentle circles into your back. He always makes sure to clean you up after this with a cold washcloth because he knows how terrible it feels.

“It’s okay…” Sanzu sighed, gently rubbing circles into your back, “That all of it?”

You look up at him with teary eyes, which cause his stomach to drop a bit, though his poker face holds for you, “Mhm.”

“Okay, let’s get you some water.” He then realizes he’ll have to let go of you and that he doesn’t want to do that.

“Haru…” You cough, reaching for some tissue weakly, “I’m okay, you can go.” Reassuring him with a smile.

The pink-haired man sucks his teeth before finally letting go. “I’ll be back.”

“I trust you.”

A wild grin paints itself across his face as he kisses the top of your head before strutting towards the kitchen. Those words obviously weighing on him.

⇢ When other people ask how you’re doing, he almost always says they you’re fine. However, he doesn’t like it when people fish for information through him able you.

⇢ Sanzu does not care if he gets sick as well. He will still climb into bed with you, hold you close to his chest, and kiss up the back of your neck, much to your protest.

“Haru, stop, you’re going to get sick too…” You cough, trying to push him away.

“Mmmm...I don’t care.” He chuckles, pulling you to his chest, “I miss hold’in ya.”

You grumble a bit before giving in, cuddling into him and easily falling asleep.

⇢ When you’re feeling better, Sanzu would ask what you’d want to do. And truth be told, you just wanted to get out of the house, so you both ended up just going on a walk one night after he got home, even if it was late. Both of you walked around then block, talking about meaningless things while looking up at the stars.

“The laundry today was kinda funny because you left some change in the pocket of your pants, so I heard this rattling, and I thought the dryer broke.”

“Oh, sorry, babe.” He chuckled, planting a kiss on your cheek, “But I bet you’re rich now.”

You smirked, “Yes, a whole 17 cents richer, get Kokonoi on the phone.”

Sanzu blew a raspberry, “I’m sure he’d love that.”

You squeezed your hand in his a bit, causing him to look over at you, “Everything okay?”
