c!Emerald duo propaganda:
Let me tell you. We've got two guys. They live together. They live miles away from everyone else but they live in a little cabin in the snow together. They would die for each other. One HAS died for the other. One is in a monogamous relationship with the personification of death and the other is one of the most widely headcanoned aroace characters and it in no way ever devalues what is considered as one of the most unshakable relationships in the story
"For you the world" — Technoblade to Philza. They are so loyal to each other, legit the healthiest and strongest relationship in the fandom
"For you, the world, Phil." -Technoblade "Sometimes one friend is all you need." -Technoblade “I’m following Techno to the gates of hell... and if he wants to take over the world, god dammit I’m gonna help this man.” - Philza “I followed him to the ends of the earth, through fire and flames.“ - Philza (about Technoblade)
They live together. They kill together. They're raising a polar bear and a very anxious enderman hybrid. They committed so many war crimes and looked good doing it<3 "For you, the world" quote my beloved. Anarchism swag😎
Silly guys of all time! They took over the entire world together once <3 (pre-dsmp but still canon to dsmp) they blew up a country together <3 gotta love 2 guys who commit Literal Actual warcrimes. Also the way they trust eachother just unconditionally is just soo ouuuugggghghhhh i love them. iirc I remember a part where techno was basically just talking about how he'll basically never trust anyone again. TO Phil. Who was very obviously an unspoken exception to the "never trusting anyone" thing. It's been a while so idk if I remember it right but aaaouuuugggg their relationship was so good. Also "for you the world phil" AAAAAUUUUUUU (although the context of that line is much sillier than people usually remember but they are silly guys <3). Ooouugghhh I have so much I could talk about but it's late so I can't think of it right now but they are sooooooo important they are everything to me. This is kinda bad propaganda bc I don't know if I'm even remembering things right and am vaguely incorrect but AUGH. EMERALDDUO
Consider: the fanon immortals being very old friends thing which is a trope i will never not love, and also taking over the world with your qpp is so pogchamp of them
Two anarchist immortals who have been besties for an indeterminable amount of time, but at least for hundreds of years. Took over the Earth once just to show that they can. Back-To-Back Badasses. Each other's consciences and also enablers. Lived together in the middle of nowhere tundra biome, in connected little cottages with their bazillion pets.
THOSE BITCHES WERE LIVING IN THE ARCTIC TOGETHER IN THEIR GAY LITTLE COTTAGE WITH LIKE 100 ANIMALS!!!! They’d both often talk about how they’d kill and die for one another, they’ve been together for centuries despite Techno being all but confirmed Aroace and Philza being married to someone else!! I think they definitely had a QPR going on because like. The person you’re closest to and have lived alongside for god knows how long u gotta at least have SOMETHING going on there imo.
They are both imortal livelong best friends who have been there for each other through war and and other personal hardships They are partners in crime, both arnarchists who took down a nation together and both live in retirement together They only trust each other wholeheartedly (aka they both belive the other wont betray them) and Phil is the only person Techno feels he can be himself around (aka be soft around).
Apparently their qpr had drama in the past bc of this one fic but tbh i dont really get why These two are literally just. The best. There's absolutely no romance between them, but they're the closest of friends, and they care about each other so so much. And they deserve all the things. They live together in a house in the arctic in a commune for anarchists. Basically everyone in the Syndicate are their adopted children. 'For you, the world, Phil' -Technoblade (Just like to say this too, Techno is not Phil's son in the DSMP universe. It's been canonically confirmed.)
They’re two dudes who spend all their time together, built their houses next to each other (and connected it w a bridge), started a commune together, took over the world together, have FRIENDSHIP EMERALDS, and are genuinely such good friends (these are the characters but the irl guys were really good friends until techno died too)
Just a bird and his pig chilling as kings
"for you phil, the world" is treated like this big dramatic line as they take over smpearth but in context its bc they were arguing over something silly and techno laughed and conceded to him and like... just look at then they're ride or die besties emerald duo ftw (on a sadder note i constantly see philza wearing techno's merch on streams and videos and just... man i miss seeing them together)
immortal warriors who have promised to follow each other to the ends of the earth, through fire and flames. they are each others most trusted person without a doubt. when trying to retire from the wars that plagued the server, they both retired in an arctic tundra where they lived together.
These guys cant be seperate from each other anymore than like three days. Like, on top of also doing the antarctic empire together in earthSMP, they just moved to the arctic together to just enjoy life and retirement together. They understand each other like no other bc they've known each other forever. Also bc if we take the titles of bloodgod and angel of death literally you get something something being willing to spend eternity with the other because you care abt them. These two are fine being isolated from everybody else and chilling on their own bc thats all they need
Their relationship is defined by a connection that has lasted for centuries. Despite everything, they always go back to each other. They live together in a cabin in the arctic. They also like murdering together a little too much.
old men committed terrorism and then they settled down :)
For you Phil, the world Immortal best friends spend thousands of years together, conquer the world, found a empire. Phil has a kid with his goddess wife, Techno wind up joining the kids rebellion against the country he founded. When that goes wrong they start a commune called the Syndicate. They are so ride or die. I love them
please they live together theyre best friends theyre immortal together they love each other and phil is married to a god PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE

Dream SMP, But Make It Hardcore
Aka. What if you only have one canon live
This is written before 30 Days SMP, I know there’s no connection with DSMP but just in case XD
Before we start, we need to lay down several rule.
There should be at least one player death for each war/arc, with possible some exception.
In this au, there are majority two ways to cheat death: using the totem of undying and the resurrection book. Totem of undying can only be used if the victim is holding it when they on the brink of death. The resurrection book can only be used with equivalent exchange: a life for a life. Any methods outside of this won't be acknowledged temporarily. Except one that we’ll discuss later.
Thirdly, the existence of ghost. As far as I knew, the only ghost characters are Ghostbur, Glatt, and Mexican Dream. All of them are formerly death people. But so far, at least from what I know, there is no actual reasoning of how the three of them came to be. So, temporarily, we will pretend ghost doesn't exist.
Fourthly, if the characters have crucial role in the Arc, the role will be passed on to someone else. This is still in the juggling process, so there will be possible contradictions.
Lastly, I'm not versatile in Dream SMP lore. I only join after Tommy resurrection, but I have a vague knowledge of the previous season. Even so, I haven't watch all the POV, so I might mot know which canon death is important and which is not. I'll try my best and follow the wiki, you any of you can argue with me. I'm open for discussion.
Now with that out of the way, let's begin the body count.
Acknowledged Death
Fundy
Cause of Death: The Final Control Room
There is no denying that Eret’s Final Control Room is one of the most iconic scene in all of Dream SMP, thus any death that happens here would have bigger meaning: they died because of a betrayal, they died fighting for the independence of their beloved country. If they die here, they die as a revolutionary hero.
However, if we look in the L’Manburg gang, everyone has importance in future role: Wilbur with the Season 1 finale, Tommy with the Season 2 finale, Tubbo with the Manberg Festivavl, Eret with the Final Control Room, Fundy with the Schlatt Administration. But, if we hae to choose one, unfortunately, we have to choose Fundy. Wilbur and Tubbo has bigger role in the narrative of Season 1 and Tommy is the central character throught Season 1 and 2. However, knowing the future and Quackity lore, we don't know how far Fundy would go in depth. So we'll put a pin on this.
Tubbo
Cause of Death: Manberg Festival Execution
Canonically speaking, so far, Tubbo has lost two canon life: in the Final Control Room to Sapnap and the Manberg Festival Execution to Technoblade. Both events are crucial in the DSMP lore however I chose the execution because it kick-started the Manberg vs Pogtopia War even further. Tubbo’s death leads Nikki and many others to join Pogtopia and Tommy vs Techno Duel at Pogtopia. Unlike Techno, Tubbo doesn’t have the Totem of Undying, thus his execution is inevitable.
However, as we know, Tubbo’s role at the end of Season 1 and beyond is important. He’s the president of L’Manberg, he exiles Tommy, the Butcher Army, and the Disc Confrontation. If he dies very early in the story, many plot will be lost. So, temporarily, unless by divine intervention his execution is stopped, his lore will be given to Lani or Ranboo.
JSchlatt
Cause of Death: Heart attack at the the end of Manberg vs Pogtopia War
This is probably the first ever canon permanent death, so we had to put in here. Schlatt other two death are during the Manberg Festival, having caught in Technoblade fireworks, and Quackity assassination at The White House. Since we already have Tubbo’s death during the Manberg Festival, that only leave with Quackity assasination and his heart attack. But, considering his heart attack death ends the Manberg vs Pogtopia War, I choose this. I’m sure anyone would agree in this.
My only worry is the potential of Schlatt’s resurrection by Quackity. In rule two, you need one soul to resurrect another. Who would Quackity kill to resurrect Schlatt?
Mexican Dream
Cause of Death: Killed by Dream during Exile Arc
Poor Mexican Dream. The best character always die too early. But, according to this wonderful analysis video, Mexican Dream is very crucial to Tommy descend to depression during the Exile Arc. With Mexican Dream being the few people who visit Tommy during exile, his presence becomes quite importance to Tommy. Which is why when Mexican Dream dies, Tommy is left with no one else (but Dream) which leads him down a harsher path to depression and suicide.
Tommy
Cause of Death: Killed by Dream in the prison
We know that Tommy is the main character throughout Season 1 and 2, so why is he chosen for death? One reason: Wilbur’s resurrection.
All of Tommy’s death are actually important in the history of Dream SMP, but as we know, his role in Season 1 and 2 are too important that I can’t think of anyone else who can replace him. His death in the prison is a shocking moment and I’m pretty sure everyone remembers that. The main character is killed by the antagonist. Tragic isn’t it? And going back to Point 2, with Tommy’s death, Dream can resurrect Wilbur for whatever he’s planning for the future.  A soul for a soul; Tommy death’s for Wilbur’s resurrection.
Antfrost
Cause of Death: Killed by Puffy during the Red Banquet
The Red Banquet is once again a staple event on the server. Even if it’s count as a side-arc, we can’t ignore any awesome moments surrounding this event (plus, nearly all characters that Quackity recruit in Las Nevadas Arc were invited to the Red Banquet). Thus, any death happening here will effected the Eggpire gang and the guest invited there. Back then, Antfront was the one suggesting that Foolish should be sacrifice first, which made him being a bigger target for Puffy and for her to gain revenge for the death of her son. Plus, Bad mentioned that the egg required energy gained from death to hatch, thus Antfrost (and Foolish) death will fed the egg more...
Survived
Quackity
Currently, we have Las Nevadas Arc with Quackity as the central characters, this there is no doubt that Quakcity is an important character. Heck, even before this, his role is very crucial in history. He challenged Wilbur in the election, becoming the vice president of Manberg and New L’Manberg, conducting the Butcher Army, and in Dream’s imprisonment.
Quackity has one canon death: his duel with Technoblade (the one death on the Manberg Festival by Technoblade has been retconned). So, knowing the imortance of his role in future Las Nevadas Arc, he didn’t die after the battle with Technoblade.
Jack Manifold
Jack Manifold probably had the most unfortunate deaths of all. He was killed by Wilbur because the dude just felt like it. He was killed by Tommy because he was too surprise. And he was killed by Techno during Doomsday. He’s like the SBI kids personal victim.
Now, out of all the death he suffered, I can only count his death to Techno to be the most crucial. However, Jack and Techno doesn’t have that strong relationship except Jack thinking Techno was an enemy because of Doomsday. Heck, even Jack isn’t written in Techno’s relationship list. Thus, I can’t make Jack to have a battle to the death with Techno. Compare this to Quackity vs Techno which already lit up during the Butcher Army incident, thus making Quackity vs Techno much stronger than Jack vs Techno.
Dream
Skeppy-BadBoyHalo
Originally I was going to count this as a canon death. However, their death happened before the Red Banquet, which was a bigger event. But I won’t deny that Skeppy and Bad’s fight is heart-wrenching in a way. Both of them are very close and it’s just sad to see them had a big fight like this. You can blame the Egg for messing with their head, but it lead to Skeppy’s death and Bad soon followed. You can’t deny how Bad and Skeppy’s lives are connected is quite cute.
Because both of them are the main players of the Eggpire Arc, we need to keep them alive until the end of the arc.
Cheated Death
Karl Jacobs
Origin Cause of Death: Manberg vs Pogtopia War
Method of Cheating Death: Time travel power awakening
Karl is an interesting character regarding the lore in Tales of the SMP. It had been confirm that Karl is a time traveler, however I don’t think we actually know when he got that power. Thus, if we want to incorporate this in lore we can take his death in canon and make it he could time travel for the first time, only returning when the war is over or before he was killed to avoid it. So, this is the only resurrections outside the usual methods I’m willing to acknowledge.
Technoblade
Origin Cause of Death: Butcher Army excecution
Method of Cheating Death: Holding the Totem of Undying
Canon, this is the first canon cheated death in the series so I’m keeping this, there’s no really a further connection. The execution, along with the whole Butcher Army is the start of Quackity Villain Arc, Tubbo descend into mirroring Schlatt, Bedrocks Duo, thus marking this moment as an important staple. Also, SAD-ist Hog Hunt, my beloved. But also, Technoblade is possibly the strongest member on the DSMP, seeing that even the strongest need to cheat to avoid death is interesting.
Foolish Gamers
Origin Cause of Death: The Red Banquet Sacrifice
Method of Cheating Death: The embodiment of Totem of Undying
Foolish is a god, the embodiment of the Totem of Undying, thus he has a personal connection with cheating death and resurrection. Same case with Technoblade but with more sinister condition. Even a god like Foolish can’t escape death and need to cheat to survive. But also, his death only fueled the Egg into hatching, which wouldn’t be good in the long run.
Wilbur Soot
Origin Cause of Death: Season 1 Finale
Method of Cheating Death: Resurrected by Dream with Tommy’s soul in exchange
Wilbur’s death is definitely an iconic moment considering this is the peak of his madness. The only problem is the existence of Ghostbur. Going back to Point 3 of ghost doesn’t exist, this would means Ghostbur doesn’t exist in this au. Which leads to Point 2 where you need a soul to resurrect another soul. If Ghostbur doesn’t exist, then who should Dream kills to resurrect Wilbur? Dream had only ever kill one person, and that’s Tommy. A soul for a soul; Tommy death’s for Wilbur’s resurrection.

@ether-solrac here, here's another AU idea I felt like sharing, I'm just calling it "The Time Traveler and the Imortal."
* This idea is a Chloix AU where Chloé is Noble without a kingdom that was cursed/blessed with immortality while Alix is an inexperienced time traveler that ended up in a forced jump that brought her far into the past and directly to Chloé. They plot revolves around Alix trying to get back to her own time samurai jack style as each jump she manages brings her slightly forward but for some reason always in the path of Chloé. Together they have to help in whatever crazy magical incident is taking place doctor who style before Alix can jump again and continue the cycle.
* Chloé was the princess of a long forgotten kingdom. There she was basically nothing more than a political pawn for her parent's advancement of the kingdom. Suffering from isolation and lonelyness her greatest desire was to truly connect to someone. One day she encounters an old mage by the name of Fu who offers her the "gift" of immortality, perfectly preserved as she is, until she finds the companion she seeks.
Over time, she takes this as a curse as the world she knew withers through the ages and she becomes this jaded angry wandering girl as the passage of time makes her more and more disconnected from everyone around her.
*Alix is much as she is in canon. She's the Valedictorian, athletic, friendly, but in seemingly being part of every friend group in her class, she's ironicly the most distant of them all, often having trouble forming any connection she considers meaningful. Often times she'll prefer studying history and helping her father and brother around the museum, the ancient artifacts attracting her in ways she can't really put into words.
One day when helping her father with a new exhibit on ancient kingdoms, the family pocket watch flares to life and lodges itself into a stone carving. It opens a vortex and sucks Alix in with no one else being the wiser. This lands her almost a thousand years into the past with nothing but her now unstable pocket watch, right in the sights of Chloé.
*The pocket watch itself acts as their quest as it magically leads the duo where they need to go, usually to some kind of incident or problem that needs to be fixed (think of the Tardis from doctor who and how it always brings the doctor to places that need his/her help) before it allows Alix to make another jump.
*Theres a bit of angst in that Alix is the only one who makes jumps while Chloé is forced to take the "long way," but the watch will always drop Alix off next to Chloé no matter how many years she's jumped. As they get closer Chloé has to admit to herself that many years she has to wait for Alix to return is worth it have the moments they live side by side.
*it can actually take anywhere from a month to a year together before Alix earns some of her jumps, which gives the two lots of time together. It takes them awhile but as the total amount of time they spend together reaches years and they become closer and closer, they begin to notice that Chloé is actually aging at the same rate as Alix is.
*their adventures "end" when Alix returns to the present, a few years older than she left it, but with Chloé waiting for her, both of them physically the same age and the curse broken/blessing fuffiled.
I can probably expand on this further if people like this idea enough. Becuase of how life has been going lately, I've been having trouble finding the time and energy to actually write, although I still get ideas like this from time to time. I figured they'd be worth sharing.

HOLY FUCKING SHIT FUCKIN DAMN
FUCK YEAH
I feel like this would be the coolest like, idk anime movie. Like girl who leapt through time vibes.
Everyone go send Ether y’all’s positivity they’re amazing.

SEMIGOSPEL #005: Lady Gaga, Elton John, você e eu no escuro
Tumblr media
(Image belongs to Lady Gaga/Interscope Records/Streamline Records)
E tá errada a bichinha? Jamais errou.
Minha mãe disse que ele chegaria e me encontraria
Eu vivi meus dias apenas pelas noites
Eu me perdi sob as luzes
HAHAHAHA
Quantas vezes eu marquei encontros com Deus e Ele simplesmente furou. Me subia uma raiva...
É o êxtase do agora.

FILM REVIEW #2: A New Hope (1977)
Tumblr media
To write a review for a movie which is now about 47 years old and has such great cultural status may seem a little pointless, but after seeing and reviewed Star Wars - Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker (2019), I felt motivated to to take another look at the rest of the series in the order that each part were released. And I figured, while I am going through them, I might as well share my thoughts on them, for fun.
Star Wars - Episode IV: A New Hope (or just Star Wars as it was originally known) is the very first installment of the entire franchise, which you can kind of tell. Written and directed by George Lucas himself, this is the first available chapter to one of the most iconic stories ever told, as well a the beginning of one of the most lucrative movie franchises of today. Though take things with a pinch of Crait-salt, as the version I am reviewing is the current Special Edition with all those infamous changes.
Most of you probably know the plot: "There is a war between the heroic rebels and the the tyrannical space-empire, and in the middle of it one of the rebel-leaders, princess Leia, gets captured by the merciless imperial lord, Darth Vader. Though before she is caught she manages to send away two androids holding imortant, military plas that could change the direction of the war. The two droids flee and crash-land on a nearby desertplanet and come across Luke Skywalker, a young farmboy of apparently simple beginnings, and Obi-wan Kenobi, a mysterious old warrior who has past connections with Vader. It is up to them to bring the droids to the rebel forces, and in order to do so they take help from the scallywag smuggler and pilot Han Solo and his lojal wookie-friend Chewbacca."
What can one say about a movie which has been reviewed and analysed thousands of times, and which I probably have seen at least a dozen times myself? Well, I am going to try and focus on what I thought about this time, which is this: It's not that great. For it's time it is certainly ambitious and impressive, but considering all the following installments, the very first one is not that strong. The main reasons for this? Simple: Its long and boring.
For diehard-Star Wars fans this might be a controversial thing to say, but that is how I feel. For a movie featuring ray guns, robots, aliens and laserswords, this movie goes at a surprisinlgy slow pace and has an overall dry tone that can be a little tiring. In a sense it is understandable, as the storytelling is very reminiscent of an old-time warfilm. An earlier critique I've had of the Star Wars-films in general is that they hardly ever feel like actual warfilms despite despite the title, but seeing this one again, I can't help but to notice a similarity to Kelly's Heroes (1970), a warfilm that I sadly am not much of a fan of either.
Though, also like Kelly's Heroes, this movies strenght lies in the memorable and entertaining characters.
Few bad guys i cinema has a stronger presence than Darth Vader, but it's also worth noting that the sidevillain Tarkin, as brilliantly play by Hammer Horror-veteran Peter Cushing, manages to be just as threathening, if not more so. The guy blew up an entire planet without batting an eye.... Talk about icecold! When it comes to the heroes it's more of a mixed bag.
Luke is not an especially interesting here in the beginning; he is goodhearted but young and naive, longs for adventure but has no clue of the dangers and is also a bit of a brat. If you count the whole trilogy it works pretty well since it illustrates the big character development, but by itself, his role in here is not really much to mention. Han Solo has a couple of cool moments but is otherwise very prone to nagging, and people will either love or hate the ineloquent Chewbacca. The two droids C-3PO and R2-D2 are a fun and heart-warming duo, but the hero I liked the most was definitely Leia, who if you look back is a pretty non-typical damsel in distress from a time when most fictional princesses followed the old Disney-standard. She has an ironic bite, but is not unneccesarily mean. She is tough, but also compassionate. And greatest of all, she is not afraid of taking charge in a chaotic situation.
Tumblr media
While the story is pretty traditional for a fantasy, with the elements of oppressive evil, a young hero, an old and mysterious wizard, a princess that need saving and an odd assortment of allies, its spin on these traditional stuff is still distinctly its own. While a trained and nerdy eye can tell where inspiration from works such as Flash Gordon and Akira Kurosawa's samurai-films come in, it is done subtly and re-mixed enough so that one can't really call it stealing or even a noticeable tribute. What we see here is the first part of a then entirely new, fictional world with its own rules, its own history and its own environments. My favorite example of this is when Luke and Obi-wan go into a seedy bar in Mos Eisley: We bear witness to all kinds of weird creatures, assumably from every corner of the galaxy. While they don't have any bigger impact on the story later in the film, they do manage through visual storytelling paint up a picture of a wide and colorful universe, full of wonder and danger. At the same time we learn that androids are not welcome in the bar. It is not explained why, that's just how it works. This is just the right level of worldbuilding, establishing things without getting overly explanatory.
This scene, and plenty of others, display plenty of practical effects which are impressive considering the time they were made in. Though, while we are talking about the effects, I can't exactly ignore those controversal Special Edition-changes. This movie is probably biggest sufferer of them, especially in the addition of unneccesary scenes or edits that does match the rest of the movie. Although, while several of these stick out more han giraffes in a petstore, there are a couple of nice polishes that do the film som good, including improved key-ing, digitally added extras and touched up green-sceen effects.
This movie was a surprise hit when it came out. Though if it hadn't had some great follow-ups, I wonder if the franchise had managed to become as big as it is now. Plenty would argue that Return of the Jedi (1983) is the weak link in the original trilogy, but from my perspective, I think this is the one. Purists probably feel inclined to start with A New Hope when introducing Star Wars to those unfamiliar with it, which is understandable. But keep in mind that it might not be that succesful to show it for chilren, as the slow pace and the lenght might be a bad combination for kids who are into action-action-action.
In the end, I give this movie a rating of 6 out of 10. ---

E uma outra inspirada nela, “Assum Branco” do José Miguel Wisnik, me deixa marejado. "Coisa nº 4" do Moacir Santos (https://youtu.be/0Wg9G0_19Sc). A canção começa no minuto 6:28. Pós-escrito: 1. 3.

Braids & War Paint (Part 1)
Notes on:
Part 2:
Part 3:
Part 4:
Aelin Ashryver Galathynius had experienced a lot during her not-yet-imortal life. At eighteen, her name day being only a few days ago, the Crown Princess of Terrasen had done an awful lot. She’d fought battles against two witch clans, learned a handful of languages, caused an ancient race of water people to guard her coast and of course more girly things like collecting expensive dresses, growing her hair out so long that it wraps around her hips and having three secret relationships; Her flings with the Crown Prince of Adarlan and his father’s captain of the guard were nothing more than a little fun.
Sam Cortland, her first love, he was very different. He meant something special to Aelin, he was an assassin she met when she killed a trafficker of young Terrasen girls, Arobynn Hammel. Sam had been forced into Adarlan’s underworld with no other option, Aelin did what she thought she should do. Got him out of that life, got him his own house, however, small and dark, in the streets of Rifthold’s slums. And before Aelin could kill her target, Arobynn killed Sam.
That was two years ago, today. Though Aedion, the only person that knows everything Alein had to hide, has tried his hardest to help her ‘get over it’ Aelin’s grief and responsibility haunts her. As a reminder she braided one strand of leather into her hair, a promise she made herself, to never forget Sam Cortland but to grow and rise like a phoenix out of his ashes. He wanted her to be happy.
And that is exactly what she was going to do.
Aelin could taste the Terrasen pine and snow scented winds as she rode through her lands, Kasida her Asterion mare gracefully jumped over fallen trees and tore up the moss and dirt behind her. Asterion horses were bread by the Fae, but Aelin’s horse was a diplomatic present from Lord Berrick of Xandira. To Aelin Kasida was a petty gift, but she loved the horse nonetheless. Everyone wanted to be allied with (or on the good side) of Terrasen. Aelin’s uncle, Orlon was very diplomatic, a politician with an army. But her parents were Rhoe Galathynius and Evalin Ashryver. Evalin Ashryver of Wendlyn was a force of nature herself. With such strong heritage, most kingdoms in Erilea were quite afraid of Aelin’s kin across the sea…and the other Queen that Aelin has never met but will forever dislike. It was enough for gifts and balls and invitations.
“Aelin!” Aedion shouted atop his stallion, Aelin had just breached the hill. Aedion had waited for his cousin, her golden hound at his horse’s legs. The Wendlyn visitors had just rolled into Orynth.
From here Aelin looked down, the green grass rolled down to the alabaster castle. Rose gardens and hedges framed the sandstone path. The birds of the Oakwald were nearly as loud as the laughs ringing from the castle courtyard.
“Hurry up, Princess Pain-In-My-Ass!” Aedion called her over again.
“Don’t get your knickers in a knot.” Aelin huffed, Kasida snorted in response.
Aedion leaned against the rough wooden pillar in the stables as his cousin rode in. Her hair was windblown and had become curly in her hair-tail, her furs were lightly coated in snow, as if she was a pastry.
“We’re late to meet The Other Cousin.” Aedion spat in dismay. ’The Other Cousin’ was a name the duo quipped for their cousin across the sea: Prince Galen Ashryver of Wendlyn. Apparently he was pompous and nothing more than a typical castle brat.
“He can wait, he’s in our court now.” Aelin smirked as she handed the reins to the stable boy.
The cousins walked shoulder to shoulder through the rose garden, the sun was still high in the sky and to be fair, she was impressed Galan and merry band of guards had made it so quickly, they only docked in Suria yesterday.
Aelin hadn’t been expecting much when she entered the courtyard, but what she saw was certainly more than Aedion’s expectations. Galan, Aelin’s parents and uncle all sat at the wicker lounge, tables of fruits and finger sandwiches lay between them and the chairs filled with guards and the one Fae dressed in the Doranelle colours of purple, black and grey. The owl crest sat heavily on his broad chest. Aelin met his green eyes the same time he met her’s. His silver hair was pulled back from his tan face, black markings ran from his temple down to his pointer finger.
“Aedion, Aelin. We have company.” Her oblivious uncle announced, ruining her staring game with the handsome stranger.
Galan Ashryver turned around to face his cousins of legend. Gods, they were both heart shatteringly beautiful. When Aelin smiled her canines reflected the light. Her Ashryver eyes, the same as his own scanned the room with ferocity, Aedion on the other hand just looked hostile, Galan realised how it must look to have one of Maeves personal favourite warriors sitting with them. Gods, Galen didn’t even know Whitethorn was coming until he was on the ship.
A golden hand flicked in front of his face, Aelin extended her hand to him in greeting. He took her petite, scarred hand in his barely worked olive one. “It’s been a long time coming, you’re highness.” Aelin grinned, her voice held promise, of what Galan didn’t know but he felt the sweat on the back of his neck form as Aelin, Princess of the Wildfire, let heat seep through their joined hands as they shook.
And so, the Ashryver’s, the Galathynius’ and the lone Whitethorn sat and ate luncheon.
A/N: I’m so sorry, for the few of you who supported me until not long ago,
anywho, my name is El. This is my first ToG fanfiction ever and I’m excited to hear what everyone has to say about this, please don’t be afraid to tell me your thoughts because I need your thought to continue.
Much love and many apologies,
-El.

1st PAT-RN AW17 - Pitti Uomo 91 Preview
There’s no denying I have a thing for brands with very particular concepts, those whose passion creates an unstoppable momentum able to withstand any hardships or criticism. Not that the latter applies to 1st PAT-RN in any way, but the former does: its philosophy of “Indumenti di Fatica” is as unique as the duo behind it. Cristiano and Silvia are life partners in more ways than one, with their love for vintage garments, workwear and the preppy universe setting the mood for a range of very special garments.
Materialising extensive research of historical archives dating back to 1930s, 1st PAT-RN creates exclusive collections focused on timeless essentials with a twist. From military and navy inspired jackets and vests, to hard-wearing indigo denim reminiscent of authentic workwear, or preppy corduroy sports jackets, the result is a series of collections that imortalize some of menswear most iconic historical pieces.
Besides the unique look, design and fit, one of 1st PAT-RN’s most relevant trademarks is the effort put into fabric development. Be it on the knitted versions of twill, tweed or herringbone, or high-grade indigo cotton, ripstop cotton, wide-wale corduroy or moleskin, the amount of R&D behind it is perceived right from the start and even more so after you’ve put it on. In fact, as Cris always says: “you have to wear it to understand it”.

Is imortality bulletproof?
Immortals AU! By mod Dav uwu -A
TW: Gun mention, death mention, suicide mention
---
Sam sat in holding, waiting to be bailed out. They were more than a little shaken, just recently having a gun shoved in their face and having to deal with the question of is immortality bullet proof? and thankfully it was, but a gunshot was a gunshot and still hurt even if you would live through it. Sam realized they had a lot more to live for than they once thought when the gun was shoved in their face. So, that lead to Sam being dead for a few minutes and the gunman to be dead once Sam woke up. How did the gunman die? Simply put, it was a murder (though it was more like an attempted murder) suicide. Guess some people were just like that. Kitlyn was there too at the start anyways, only saw Sam get shot as some others dragged her away from the scene. When she broke away from them and ran back the police were already there.
“Samaël Hamane, your bail has been paid.” A gruff police officer spoke, opening the small cell they stuck them in and leading them out by the arm.
Ace stood there looking worried, hands in his pockets as his sight landed on Sam. He didn’t know what happened, no one would tell him. Ace gently held Sam’s hand, leading them outside of the station where Kitlyn was waiting. As soon as she saw Sam she started to tear up and instantly hugged them tightly. Sam froze where they stood, and a few seconds passed before Kitlyn mumbled a quiet ‘I thought you were gone’ and looked up at them, tears running down her cheeks.
“Guys…” Ace mumbled, not really wanting to ruin the moment but standing outside the police station crying was not a good way to avoid attention. Kitlyn pulled away from Sam at that and nodded with a sniff.
“Sorry.” Kitlyn mumbled, shaking her head and wiping away her tears with sweater paws.
There was a pause of silence.
“My car is parked a little ways away from here.” Ace spoke up, motioning to the duo to follow him.
With that the trio started walking towards Ace’s car in silence. They also got into the car in silence as well, both Sam and Kitlyn choosing to sit in the back seats. The ride was silent and it was still when Ace parked in his apartment’s underground parking. Once the car stopped Kitlyn started to tear up again as Sam’s eyes remained on the window. The silence followed them as the trio got into the elevator and went through the hallway.
“You two are staying at least for the night,” Ace declares having already decided for them, “I’ll get you both dinner, alright?”
“Thanks Acey…” Kitlyn mumbled, walking into his flat once the door was open. Sam nodded absently, following her as Ace held the door open.
Once the two were inside Ace closed the door and beelined for the kitchen. He quickly took out a container of leftover soup and shoved it into the microwave for a couple minutes. While the microwave was going Ace walked out of the kitchen and grabbed the two gently by their upper arms considering they were just kind of standing there awkwardly. He sat them both down on the couch, wrapping each of them in a blanket. He got back to the kitchen just as the microwave started to beep.
With a quick action, he poured the soup into two bowls and put spoons in the bowl. He picked them both up silently praying that he wouldn’t burn his hands as he walked back to the blanketed duo.
“Eat.” Ace gave them the bowls and thankfully neither of them kicked up much of a fuss at the order and quietly ate the warm soup.
He ended up sitting in the middle between the two, both of them leaning a bit on him once they were done their soup and the bowls sat on the table in front of the trio. It was late, the sky was 100% dark at this point in time, and it was most definitely after 12am. Around 1am Ace could hear Sam snoring as they cuddled against his side, resting their head on his shoulder. Kitlyn was curled up on the other side of him, nestled against Ace’s side. He tried his best to stay still, to not wake either of them up- Lord knew they needed the rest after what had transpired a few hours ago.
Sam woke up in the morning and part of them was convinced that last night was just a bad dream, at least that was what they were going with before they opened their eyes and saw that they were leaning an Kitlyn’s very cute friend. They only had to shift around a bit of his attention to land on them.
“Oh, you’re awake?” Ace hummed, “how do you feel?”
“…I don’t know you?” Sam muttered, putting distance between them and him.
“Right, sorry. My name’s Ace, I’ve been the one bailing you out for the past five centuries-“ that shut Sam up as their face tinted pink- “should I make breakfast or do you want a while to wake up?”
“How’s Kitlyn?” They asked, avoiding the question. Ace glanced beside him.
“Still fast asleep.” He replied, looking back at Sam. “Look, I’ll go make breakfast but you don’t need to force yourself to eat anything, okay?”
Sam nodded automatically as Ace stood up, grabbing the soup bowls that were still on the table and left. They quickly wrapped themselves tighter in the blanket around them, glancing at Kitlyn who was curled up in a ball under her blanket. They frowned, remembering her panicked look when being pushed away and how quick she was to tears once she saw them again. Almost as if sensing their thoughts her eyes opened and she stretched under the blanket.
“Morning…” Sam muttered, watching as she blinked groggily and struggled to sit up properly thanks to the blanket wrapped around her.
“Hi?” Kitlyn yawned, leaning against Sam, “how are you?”
“Okay.” Sam replied quietly, paying more attention to the shuffling around in the kitchen.
“’M glad you’re okay.” Kitlyn mumbled, looking up at them.
Sam just hummed, “so, your friend?”
“What about Acey?”
“He’s been doing this for… 500 years?”
“Yeah.” She nodded, “I trust him.”
“…”
“I also trust…” Kitlyn went to poke their nose but Sam swatted her hand away, “you. Nerd.”
