My fave thing about aew sweaty backstage promos is how im p sure the talent is in a competition to find theeee most unique and fucked up location to get "ambushed" by cameras. And I just love the implications for kayfabe that main event level talent is allowed to wander the halls all alone post being "injured" by their opponents, even guys who definitely have stablemates to hang out with. Also the implication that the promo cameramen and light guys are fucking patrolling the halls like video game enemies looking to hunt wrestlers down and force them to talk about how losing feels

Suddenly the ever growing insanity of the two men in the Mouse Trap movie as they try to rid the house of one mouse makes sense to me
