Greetings yet again folks! Before today's news i should ask this: what would you think when wearable tech is mentioned? AR/VR glasses? A smart watch? a pair of fancy glasses? nfc based products or was it something else for you?
what if i tell you there is a battery that is so stretchable and bendable that can be tailored between linings of your clothes now what would you think?
Meet the age of stretchable batteries people!
in that case i should mention when people of today was so busy with nonsense politics and rightist or leftist ideas there were quite a race between the biggest tech schools and companies for manufacturing this tech such as apple, samsung, stanford, Yokohama National University, zotach (japan based wearable tech company), sydney's UNCW, Australian research comity and more.. you get the idea..
so what is this tech in its core?

basically building more softer and more long term reliable materials to replace our common daily use batteries

in term of materials it nearly uses our common li-on batteries but these are mainly works like electrodes and often use polymers, hydrogels, and other flexible materials for electrodes and electrolytes. we can see in recent inovations include the use of stretchable conductors like gold nanowires or carbon nanotubes.
BUT what these mambo, jambo, wombo, combo means for public eye?
much longer active use time, higher adaptability, flexible form factor yet lower energy and power density.
for now this tech has been used in certain medical implant cases, wearable techs, tv's, and watches for now but there is some attempts to imply this in to textile industry recently..
and japan is seems like ahead of the race for now with Zotac’s VR GO 4.0 backpack

this is a backpack pc and its power source is tailored between in entire foam/ fiber pad. this "pc" is specifically made for VR/AR and streaming which includes
11th Gen Intel Core Mobile i7-11800H processor, an NVIDIA RTX A4500 graphics card with 20GB of GDDR6 memory and 7,168 CUDA cores, 16GB (32GB maximum) of DDR4 RAM, an M.2 slot for storage, a 2.5′ SATA 3 hard drive/SSD bay for storage, three USB 3.1 Type-A ports, a single USB 3.1 type-C port, DisplayPort, and a 12V DC outlet, all powered by dual 86.4 watt-hour hot-swappable batteries.
like i said this tech is still under developement stage and people still trying to make this tech better than other compettitives...
time will show us what will it gonna be turn out at the end..
lastly.. see you guys tomorrow...

I lied when I said my last post was going to be my last post but I will say if you want to have free stuff you should definitely sign up for a project where you bill the purchase of some equipment through an expense claim and then you just keep it. I’ve got a podcast mic from this and now I bought two SD cards + one sd card to usb-c adapter. And I’ll give them back if anyone remembers they’re with me though I don’t think it’ll be the case 😌 the only perks of being embroiled in the current bane of my existence aka organising an exhibition with zero curatorial experience

TOOLS FOR PERSONS WORKING ONLINE
Many persons with online jobs often have this desire to work outside. Working in nature can be reviving and a pleasant change from your work space. Sometimes the weather is nice and sunny and our backyard patio becomes that perfect place to work. However, working outside does have its fair share of challenges and this article will provide you with tips to make the process easier.
Wi-Fi Extender and Hotspot
A poor Internet connection will end your outdoor work session quickly. If you’re at home, a Wi-Fi extender may help you out if your router and modem are further away in the house. The extender will create a stronger signal and can even increase your speeds.
Should you choose to work outdoors at a coffee shop or public area, it’s smart to have a hotspot available. Actually, you may never know when the Internet might go down at your location, or you could even be surprised and find there’s no Wi-Fi connection available for use. Having access to a hotspot will ensure you’re able to be connected no matter what situation may arise.
Having a smartphone or a tablet, either of these can be tethered to your computer to provide an Internet connection. Please be aware, as these options will typically slice into your phone’s data plan plus reducing the battery life of your phone. It is important to remember that you also find mobile hotspots that are separate devices and often prepaid.
Anti-Glare Screen and Cooling Devices
Workers often find that the first problem they might have when working outside is a nasty glare on the computer screen. It often makes it difficult to see what you’re doing and cause you to squint. A shaded area is not enough to rectify this problem. Turning the screen brightness up as far as it will go will reduce the problem. It is important that you work from a cool shaded area. If shade isn’t plentiful where you’ll be working, consider wearing lighter clothing, bringing a portable mini fan, or using a cooling towel.
Extra Power Supply
A computer battery going dead is trouble. Should you head outside with a full battery, take along a power cord just in case. A portable charger is also an option, in case there are no outlets close by that can be used. Portable chargers must be charged beforehand and they can then be used to charge your computer when needed. Computer batteries don’t last all day, but depending on its condition, it may last up to two hours.
External Devices
Online jobs are challenging and persons working remotely often face issues during the scope of work. Some items are a must if you plan to work productively outdoors. Purchase a wireless keyboard and mouse, and consider a laptop stand to raise it up to eye level. These items can work wonder if you have to work outside. Please note that having a pair of headphones or earbuds will assist if you have to have to take a call or listen to music while engaging in your online work activities.
Working from a remote office can have its own set of challenges but working through the areas mentioned above will make the process easier. Carefully review these tips to take your work outside and stay industrious and driven no matter the challenges that may come up.

So. I have
Unicron, a large and spacious desktop with an ancient motherboard and aging i/o that works
Primus, a tight server-adjacent beast of an air purifier the computer shop gave me for free cause it doesn't work
My sata power adapter finally came in the mail. It's not doing anything. I believe it's possible to get Primus working, i really do. But probably not by me.
Now here's the other part of the problem:
Unicron is currently hosting all my files and i want it to also drive the 4k tv. It's running Linux of course. The graphics card is from before AMD bought ATI, the only way I can get video from it is a DVI-to-VGA adapter plugged DIRECTLY into a VGA cable going DIRECTLY into a 1080p monitor. Adapting to hdmi doesn't work, even tho the active adapter itself definitely does. The only graphics cards in town that go in old school PCI slots are worse than mine, and the pci-to-pcie adapters I'm seeing online look sketchy af. (are they? If you've used them please tell me if they work). I spent $200 on an rx6600 and at this point I'm almost ready to build a whole pc around it, just to have something with room to grow. Also transcoding maybe.
Now, I have several usb-C to hdmi adapters which require windows drivers. Unicron does not have usb-C ports. Unicron barely has USB 3 ports. I have exactly one (1) USB A to C high speed data adapter of the proper sexuality - which came with and is currently in use for the nvme enclosure I'm using for my cache drive. Because, to loop back around, Unicron doesn't have anywhere else to put an nvme ssd and i got sooo tired of using my sata ssds for this stuff also they might be too slow idk it doesn't matter.
Point is, I have these options:
do nothing and return nil
Put the extra ram + storage in Unicron and install Windows on it to make the USB display drivers work, then slap a linux vm on top and do everything in that. This is a lot of overhead especially for an older system, and introduceth lots of annoyances thruout the stack ex. networking
Unicron overhaul! Keep the case but upgrade everything else. Mostly straightforward but expensive but money is not a concern. We could even also do the windows thing too on top of it, wouldn't that be horrible.
Pick all the good bits off of Unicron and Primus and give them both to the repair shop, then just buy a new computer. Same as previous option but could be simpler depending on case compatibility.
Either way they're closed on sundays so i gotta wait to do stuff.
Hmm, maybe part of this post should have been a poll...

I wrote up a User Guide for my Prototype Pokédex. I think I made it a little long, but hopefully nothing is confusing.
//This is pretty long, so read at your peril.
Hello! And welcome to your new Pokédex!
This manual is for the Rotom version of Prototype Pokédex engineered by Alice.
1. Getting Started
Included in the Rotom version is:
1x USB A to USB C cable
1x AC charger
1x International Outlet Adapter
1x Rotom Adaptable mini-Camera Drone
1x Prototype Pokédex
1× Hard plastic cover case
1x Faux Leather Carry bag
2. Know Your Pokédex
This Prototype is modeled after the original Kanto Pokédex, the same model that legendary trainer Red used during their peak! As such, it is a notebook-style Personal Digital Assistant, but with an added slide out keyboard and stylus. However, instead of red, it's a stylish black.
It features a 8 inch touchscreen OLED screen with included glass screen protector.
The Prototype has two outward switches and one volume wheel.
The power switch is located at the right edge, with power on marked with ○ and power off marked with — . The second is at the top edge. This sliding switch has three modes, marked as (T), (R), and (E). These stand for Trainer, Researcher, and Emergency. The volume wheel controls the volume for the included speakers, but not for the emergency speakers.
At the bottom edge is a USB C port at the center. The left of that port is the stylus holder and the right is the AC charging port.
3. First Start Up
When being powered on for the first time, you will be greeted with a selection of themes ranging from Nostalgic 8-bit to Caterpie Green to Cherrum Pink or even Koffing Purple. The theme, along with other personalizations, can be changed later in the Personalization tab within the Settings.
After selecting a theme, you will be prompted to select a system language. After selecting a language, you will be asked to enter a first name, any chosen pronouns or titles and an emergency contact. The Prototype Pokédex can contact the inputed number along with emergency services in the case of an emergency with a pre-written or personalized message from the user. (Note: The entering of an emergency contact is not necessary for the function of the Pokédex but emergency calls will instead only be directed to emergency services. The given name and pronouns will be used when attributing data gathered by you in published research.)
After inputting a name and contact, you will be asked if you would like to list any Pokémon companions manually or have them added automatically when syncing at Pokémon Center PC. This is only for your current companions. This would conclude the start up and the Prototype will enter the default Trainer mode.
4. Operating Modes
The sliding switch at the top of the Prototype switches the Pokédex from 3 separate modes. The default setting upon first start up is Trainer mode. After entering personalizations, you will be at the home screen. The home screen defaults to the list of indexed Pokémon. This can be changed within the Settings.
A. Trainer Mode
Within Trainer mode, you can access virtually the same type of information as you could on a standard Pokédex. This includes:
- List and number of Pokémon caught
- List and number of Pokémon seen
- Summary information of current battle party
- Quick Access to PC boxes
- Fun facts about Indexed Pokémon
- EV/ IV projections
- Pokémon Habitats
- And much more!
An added bonus to our pool of information from multiple regions allows you to compare data on a particular Pokémon from the perspective of different regions. You, too, can add to this research by contributing your own findings!
When viewing a Pokémon's information page, you will see a ➕️ at the bottom of the screen. Selecting this will allow you to add an entry yourself. First, you will be asked if the provided information will be about an observed wild Pokémon, a befriended wild Pokémon, a Pokémon in someone else's care, or a Pokémon in your own care. You may want to use the stylus or the slide out keyboard to write your findings. You may also use the onscreen keyboard.
Do not be afraid to note down anything of interest. Even something as simple as favorite foods can make a big impact on our research.
Once you have written your entry, you will be asked if you would like to provide any audio, video, or images as supplemental evidence. You may use the USB C port to add files from external devices or use any files recorded using the onboard microphone or the Rotom Adaptable mini-Drone's camera and microphone. When an entry is submitted, you can tag it to a specific name. This is useful should you be observing the same Pokémon for a long period of time or if writing about your or a friend's Pokémon.
B. Researcher Mode
When switching to Researcher mode from within the home screen, you will be taken to a list of Researcher functions. These are:
- Up to date, full research notes for each Indexed Pokémon
- Pokémon Cry Recognition and Imitation
- List of Common Egg patterns per species
- Curated Care instructions per species
- Up to date Pokémon Habitat breakdowns
An additional feature of Researcher Mode is found in Trainer mode. When viewing a Pokémon's fun fact, you can switch to Researcher mode and read an expanded version. For example:
Trainer mode:
Hatterene, the Silent Pokémon
If you're too loud around it, you risk being torn apart by the claw on its tentacle. This Pokémon is also known as the Forest Witch.
Researcher mode:
Hatterene, the Silent Pokémon
If you're too loud around it, you risk being torn apart by the claw on its tentacle. This is a common hunting behavior of wild Hatterene within the Lake of Outrage. While omnivorous, they tend to avoid prey they hunted themselves and instead focus on the stores of food of their prey. It is currently theorized that this hunting pattern developed as a result of wild Hatterenes searching for fights between other Pokémon and stalking the losing Pokémon back to a store of food, wherein the Hatterene pounces and makes off with its prey's food.
This Pokémon is also known as the Forest Witch. This epithet is attributed to an old folk tale that is lost to time. One hypothesis suggests that Hatterene also inhabited the Glimwood Tangle and other parts of the Wild Area before human settlements became large enough to clear out its home forests. The epithet is still widely used as even to this day, newly evolved Hatterene can sometimes be seen migrating out of forests that are home Hatennas and Hattrems on foggy nights.
- Dr. Sonia Magnolia
University of Hammerlocke
2020
Researcher mode is also the mode necessary for proper syncing at a PC.
C. Emergency Mode
Emergency Mode is a mode that restricts the functions of the Prototype to only the following:
- Calling Emergency contact and Services
- Pokémon Cry Recognition and Imitation
- Trainer Survival Guide
Activating Emergency Mode also activates the Prototype's Battery Saver, which can sustain minimal use for about 5 days from a full charge.
Using Emergency mode to call for help also sends a message to the emergency contact if one was provided.
During emergency use of the Pokémon Cry Recognition and Imitation software, the emergency speakers are used instead. These speakers are louder and are capable of producing sounds only Pokémon can hear to scare away potential threats. If during normal operation, the software detects a hostile or angry cry from a Pokémon who's hostility could prove dangerous to you, the Prototype may prompt you to switch to Emergency mode. Emergency mode also allows you to imitate the cries of known predators or competitor Pokémon of any Pokémon recognized as a threat.
The included survival guide has basic first aid information, a list of edible berries and herbs, explanations of common hazards, camping instructions for various terrains and climates, and navigation techniques.
The Emergency uses of the Prototype are not a replacement for proper preparedness and research. Please be sure to pack any and all necessary items for any hikes or outdoor travel, and to notify others where you're headed and how long you expect to it to take.
Please stay safe while traveling.
5. Syncing to Alice's PC
In order to receive up to date research and to upload any new data, you can use any Pokémon Center PC to sync. Simply set the Prototype to Researcher mode and plug in the USB A to USB C from the PC to the Prototype. You will be prompted to enter Sync mode. Depending on update sizes, this may take a few seconds to a few minutes.
On most PCs, the USB ports will be on a side panel either on the right side of the monitor box or on the right edge of the keyboard.
Once the sync is complete, the Prototype will prompt you to remove the cable when it is safe to do so.
6. Enjoy your new Pokédex Experience!
Thank you for participating in this cutting-edge research initiative. We value your input and can't wait to see what you can find.
Please be aware that the software is still in active development and can recieve new features through Sync mode.
Enjoy your Pokédex!

your everyday bag is so simple but so cute!! also can you tell us what you keep in your travel bag? i can't zoom in on the image
The bag is a "first copy" (read: fake) of the Celine Box Bag. I loved the shape but spending $4200 on something that's going to go through everyday wear and and tear makes me so anxious 😭
My travel bag has:
My laptop
A mini ring light
My house key with a Moominmamma keychain
A book of logic puzzles and a mechanical pencil
My cable holder, which has a lightening cable, a USB-C cable, an Airfly bluetooth headphone adapter, some wired headphones, a micro-USB cable, and a HDMI to USB-C converter
Red Quay sunglasses and sunglass case
A little figurine of a Shiba Inu doing a salute that my friend gave me when I was in LA
MusiCozy bluetooth workout/nap headphones
TOZO noise cancelling bluetooth headphones (I really wasn't joking when I said I'm having a headphone problem the other day)
A doorstop alarm
Sephora Quenching & Plumping face mask with watermelon extract
A package of Spot Medic hydrocolloid patches
A red pouch with jewelry inside it
Olly Women's Daily Multivitamin with Omega-3
Alka Seltzer
Blister Cushions
ZZZquil Ultra tablets
Phazyme capsules
Mint Breath spray (I think? I'm not sure I've ever actually used it)
And then not in that picture, but I also usually have my computer charger, my phone, my wallet, and a perfume. Right now I've been carrying Phlur Apricot Privee around with me.

Your Complete Guide To Choosing The Right Wall Charger Adapter From MVR Store
Let’s face it—charging your devices shouldn’t be a daily headache. But with so many gadgets in our lives, from phones and tablets to smartwatches and earbuds, figuring out which wall charger adapter to use can get confusing.

At MVR Store, we know how important it is to have a charger that does the job quickly, safely, and without fuss.
This guide will cover everything you need to know about choosing the right wall charger adapter, from basic features to smart upgrades worth considering.
Whether you want a basic charger or one with many ports, we have the right one.
1. Understand Your Device’s Charging Needs
Not all gadgets charge the same way.
Before you grab any charger off the shelf, quickly examine what your device needs. Some phones can charge quickly, but others can't, and some gadgets require a higher wattage to charge properly.
Sub-Pointers:
Check your device specs: Your phone, tablet or smartwatch manual usually mentions the ideal power output (measured in watts).
Don’t mix up cables and adapters: Even if a cable fits, it won’t work efficiently without a matching adapter.
Older chargers might slow you down: If you’re using an outdated wall charger, it might take forever to charge your newer device.
For example, a bright wall wireless charger adapter for iPhones will know exactly how much power your device needs and adjust accordingly. That means quicker, safer charging—every time.

2. Know The Types Of Wall Chargers
Choosing the right style for your routine
Chargers aren’t one-size-fits-all. You'll want a different setup depending on your lifestyle and the number of devices you use each day.
Sub-Pointers:
Single-port chargers: Simple, compact, and perfect for charging one device at a time.
Multi-port USB wall charger: This is a lifesaver if you have a desk full of devices or need to simultaneously charge the family’s gadgets.
Type-C wall charger: Offers fast charging for modern phones and tablets, especially Android models and newer iPads.
A universal wall charger adapter is excellent if you frequently switch between devices or brands. It works with a variety of plugs and voltages.
Choosing the right style means you can charge more efficiently—at home, at the office, or on the go.
3. Fast Charging: What You Should Know
Speed isn’t everything—safety matters too.
We all want our phones charged in 15 minutes flat. But before you go for the highest wattage possible, it’s essential to understand what fast charging means.
Sub-Pointers:
It’s about voltage and current: Fast charging increases power output, but your device must also support it.
More isn’t always better: Using a fast charger on a device that doesn’t support it might not harm it, but it won’t be any faster either.
Look for safety features: A good fast-charging wall adapter will have built-in safety protections, such as temperature control and overcharge prevention.
So if you’re chasing speed, ensure the adapter matches what your phone or tablet can handle.
4. Smart Features That Make Life Easier
Chargers can be clever, too.
We’ve moved on from basic chargers. Many modern options include innovative features that help protect your devices and improve charging performance.
Sub-Pointers:
Auto device recognition: Some chargers can detect what kind of device is plugged in and adjust power output automatically.
Smart current regulation: Prevents your device from getting too much or too little power.
LED indicators: Handy lights to let you know when your device is charging or full.
These extras aren’t just bells and whistles—they make daily use more convenient and give you peace of mind.
5. Don’t Forget The Build Quality
Good chargers feel solid, last longer, and charge better.
A charger may look fine outside, but its internal components make all the difference. At MVR Store, we only sell strong, reliable chargers built to last.
Sub-Pointers:
Strong casing: A sturdy plastic or heat-resistant material keeps your charger from getting damaged quickly.
Tightly secured ports: Loose connections can lead to slower charging or device damage.
Certified safety standards: Look for products with proper safety certifications to avoid short circuits or overheating.
If a charger feels too light or flimsy, it probably won’t last, so it's better to invest in quality from the start.
6. Travel-Friendly Options
Take charging convenience wherever you go.
Whether it’s a weekend road trip or a more extended holiday, having the correct charger on hand can save you a lot of frustration.
Sub-Pointers:
Foldable plugs make slipping the charger into your bag easier without damaging the pins.
Compact size: A small and lightweight charger is easy to carry and won’t take up much space in your bag.
Universal wall charger adapter: Useful for international trips where plug types and voltages vary.
A good travel charger can be the difference between a stress-free trip and one during which you constantly hunt for a working outlet.
