Hi! I cannot find an answer in the rules- if we draw a fandom-based oc for an attack, can we draw them with a character from canon, and if yes, how does it count for rating?

A lot of people give their OCs relationship with characters from canon and i can’t figure out if i can actually do stuff with that

Yes, you can include canon characters in attacks as long as they are visually modified in some way, shape, or form. Small edits, like only changing the eye color, is not acceptable. However, changing the hair style or entire palette for example, would be!

If the canon character does not have a character profile on Art Fight, you may include the original character twice in the attack submission form and rate their sizes accordingly.

this is sooo silly and i wrote it like immediately after listening to cat's podcast with them for the first time but, the entire premise is literally: will's about to hook up with a girl, like LITERALLY about to, and then pony by ginuwine suddenly starts playing because it's the ringtone will set for mack lol. the girl's like seriously?

will regrets his life choices but is like... i should probably get that right??? what if mack's hurt/not okay? i told him what i was doing... surely it's an emergency? the girl's like ugh, ok whatever.

basically mack's calling to be like 'uhhh, why don't you come here and fuck me instead?' will's brain short-circuits and then he's rushing out of there SO fast and saying 'yeah, yeah. okay' and driving over to mack because what! the! hell!

this is a fic i've written most of haha but just held off posting because i didn't really feel it was ao3-worthy. maybe i'll post what i have here in full if people would like to see?! it's literally just silliness and crack shennanigans lol.

Hi Flames! So glad of you to ask this question! :D

And for sure they interact a lot (thanks to Oswald hehe), in fact, those two are really great friends! Mickey was easily warmed up to Ortensia (because she saved him one time, which also led to them meeting for the first time...👀) and saw her as like an older sister hehe, enjoying her presence and always looking forward to spending time with her. Ortensia, on the other hand, loves Mickey; she finds him very energetic, yet a kind soul. Although she does see him a bit of a troublemaker in him at times (but they're not to crazy so she doesn't mind at all, Oswald on the other hand is a whole different story-) But I guess that’s all I could say about them, they overall enjoy each other’s company and often get advices about life, plants and magic.

And about them getting together? They haven’t actually became official with each other yet, however…

Let’s say he’s trying his best in being Oswald’s wingman. 😏✨

Let me know if this is an inappropriate addition, because I'm not trying to derail from the point that a lot of white trans men project past "white woman fears" onto trans men who aren't white without considering that Black trans men and other trans moc literally never experienced that. That projection attitude just reminded me of how I wasn't really treated like a "fragile girl" to protect when I was a kid, because I was disabled. I was treated as super violent and aggressive, and if I did express any sort of upset, adults got pissed.
