also the little detail of jesse (a boy who was shown in the previous episode to be harmed by toxic masculinity) having fun with it, in contrast to lake (who can be read as a masculine girl or as nonbinary/transmasc/etc.) being unenthusiastic

You have this huge crush on the Miya Chinen, it have only increased when he start to talk and hang out with you. You don't know if he noticed that you have feelings for him. If that happens you can just go back to hiding again. When he asked you if you want to meet his friends, you almost passed out. He took it as that you're not ready yet, but he did introduced you to Sakurayashiki and Nanjo.

But recently, you haven't been seeing Miya around. The times you do see him is when he's leaving the school. You guys don't be getting lunch like you used to too. He doesn't walk you home anymore. It was like the whole thing was really a dream.

When you're laying in bed, you kept thinking if he have found out about your feelings for him, or were you just too much for him. One day when you try to talk about the thoughts you been having, he just made up a quick excuse and skated away. You just stood there watching him roll away. You felt an emotion that you thought you will never feel towards your crush. It was anger. You were angry at Miya.

"What was the point of hanging out with me!?" You kicked the rock in rage. "Why did he talked to me that day if he's just going to do this!?" You stopped walking and try to calm yourself down. "I'll just keep trying to talk to him."

The next day Miya didn't came to school along with the day after that. You started to think something happened to him. So one day after school you walked towards his house to see if he's home and healthy, but his parents said his friends and him are out and about. You bowed your head.

"Ok, thank you!" You smiled and walked away. Your smile fell and your feet went to the direction where Miya and you had lunch at. You walked in the restaurant and only saw Sakurayashiki and Nanjo. Sakurayashiki saw you and smiled.

"Hello y/n how's your day?"

"It's doing good. I have a question."

Nanjo leaned on the counter "I can answer anything, shoot." He smiled.

"Do you guys know where Miya is?"

They stared at you for a second then they stared at eachother then stared at an object towards a table. You know what they're looking at, you're not stupid. They looked back at you. "I think I remembered that him and his friends are skating around." Nanjo put a finger on his chin. Sakurayashiki nodded his head in agreement.

"Oh..." You showed them fake sadness and sighed. "I'll just keep looking then. Thank you." You smiled at them again and walked towards the table they were looking at. You saw a dark purple tail and some green under the table. It's kinda dark under there but you can see it. When you got close to the table. Miya hurriedly came out and ran out of the restaurant.

You let out a loud groan "Miya!" You yelled and chased after him. You can hear him giggling which made you even more angry. The two of you ran to the park, you were so close to him, so close to catching him. You jumped and tackled him down to the ground. "Why are you avoiding me!?" You yelled at him. Miya giggled some more and smiled at you. You blushed.

"To see what you were going to do about it." He smirked and fixed your hair.

"Why..? I thought you got tired of me." You got off of him and sat on the grass. Miya sat up and looked at you worrying. He hugged you.

"Sorry, I thought it would be fun and maybe a little funny. I'll never get tired of you so don't worry." He grinned. Your face turned even more red. It'll be now or never.

"Miya... I like you, I like you alot, ok? Ok." You quickly and got up to run away from your problems. But as soon you were about to run, a hand had pulled you back down onto the grass. Your head landed on Miya's lap. It feels like you're going to faint any moment.

"Isn't funny that I feel the same way?" He tilted his head. You tried to answer his question but your mouth won't move. He chuckled and kissed you on the forehead.

It feels like a even better dream had been made but it also made you feel a bit light headed.
