"And, that's right, gang, we have a very special new friend here for this adventure - please welcome Steve Rogers to the Dimension20 table!" Brennan introduces, indicating Steve, who sits directly across from him.

Steve chuckles and waves bashfully to the camera.

Emily smirks and stage whispers to the woman to her right, Marisha. "You and Matt must be SO mad you didn't get Captain America on your show, right?"

Marisha bursts into laughter and looks apologetically at Matt. "I mean, you gotta admit-"

"No, no, I'm absolutely gonna hold it over Brennan that I got to be in his party first."

"Hey, there's plenty of me to go around. I've been obsessed with this game since my boyfriend introduced it to me." Steve chuckles casually.

Aabria grins. "Yeah, watch him wipe the floor with us."

"Absolutely wreck us with his mad skills." Emily snickers.

They're playing a Dungeons and Dragons style campaign, in a classic fantasy setting - a classic campaign in a homebrewed setting infused with Brennan's humor and style.

Most people have been betting on what Steve's character would be when his guest star status was announced - most people assuming he'd take a paladin or fighter.

No one was expecting Steve to play a wizard! A creative caster with a ton of utility spells, whose robes Steve slyly describes as spangled.

"With stars?" Marisha chuckles.

"Wouldn't you like to know?" he teases back.

There are some lighthearted jokes, and Steve playfully admits he's never played a wizard before and is excited to try something new, and he gets to talk a little about playing with you.

The first time Steve derails an encounter, it's with the Jump spell, and everyone freezes when people realize that Steve's second highest ability score is Strength, and his wizard leaps easily out of reach to rain spells from above, and then leaps down to grapple the last archer until the others can reach him.

Steve's enhanced mental capacity lends itself well to studying his spell list and using them creatively.

It's also an instant meme to see Brennan's face upon realizing Steve is a wizard effectively both jumping and grappling.

Steve ends up playing really well with the group - he's naturally good at reading the room and supporting others, and Matt and Aabria are really good at drawing him into story beats.

Steve and Aabria's characters end up forming the romantic core of the season - playing out a heartfelt story where their characters are involved, and his changeling wizard keeps trying to alter his appearance to look better for her and she gets to tell him that she loves him for who he is.

Brennan playfully says now he has two archnemeses at his table - Emily's creativity and Steve's tactics.

It turns out to be a very good short season of Dimension20, and Steve's creative use of spells makes him an incredible support player, and people are clamoring for him to play again.

He probably won't join the cast or anything, but he is happy to be a reoccurring guest, and to show up for some one shots with some of the Critical Role gang.

He's genuinely a joy to play with, if you can handle him dismantling encounters with superior tactics and wild uses of spells.

And now when he goes to conventions and such, he gets more people coming up to him about his tabletop gaming than about being Captain America, and that just makes him smile.

And anything that makes him smile has just got to be a good thing.

how did you change yr gender and name illegally if you don't mind answering??

Sure, I'll gladly explain!

For context I live in Germany, where the currently only way to change your name and gender as a trans person is through an extremely expensive process (up to 2000€) that involves two often very dehumanising psychological assessments and it needs to be approved by the Amtsgericht (district court or whatever). It’s not even sure if name and gender changes will be approved and then you’ve spent all that money for nothing.

And I didn’t want to do that.

This is where the loophole in the current law comes in. In Germany, intersex people can change their name and gender rather easily. They can go to the registry office (Standesamt) and get the changes done there for a much smaller cost.

All that’s needed for that is a medical certificate (ärztliche Bescheinigung) that says that they’re a person with a “variation of gender/sex development”. In German, that would be “Variante der Geschlechtsentwicklung” (note that there’s no difference between sex and gender in the German language).

If you’re thinking “hey that diagnosis also applies to trans people”, you’d be correct!

I’m trans and got that diagnosis from a doctor I trust (meine Hausärztin <3) and took it to the Standesamt. It’s illegal to change your name that way as a trans person and it doesn’t always work, you might get caught or whatever idk, but when they specifically and very suspiciously asked me if I was intersex I lied and said yes. And voilà, I got my name and gender changed.

That cost me 39€ plus a new ID for 23€ (I had previously sent some documents to the Amtsgericht and that already cost me more than that)

Flying down the stairs, your fist collided with the Tagger’s face, bouncing it off the wall and causing him to drop his gun. Catching yourself on said wall, you have enough time to kick his gun away before he delivers a blow to your liver.

Bent over, you are kicked in the face, knocking you down. As he advanced on you, someone hits him from behind. As he stumbles forwards, you roll out of the way, seeing your buzz-cut savior who continues his assault with a fire extinguisher. Landing another hit, he is kicked back as the Tagger recovers.

With Buzz-Cut off him, he looks at you as you get up. He is stopped yet again, this time by a blonde guy also hitting him with a fire extinguisher. The Blonde freezes as the Tagger quickly recovers, and kicks him into the wall. You go to rush him but stop, hearing a yell. Glancing, you see Buzz-Cut tackling the Tagger and failing as he catches himself on the wall and begins to push him back.

Buzz-Cut deflects a punch and goes to block an elbow, but you kick his attacker into the wall. Adapting, he punches the Tagger twice, stopping him… for a moment.

Lashing out, he swings at Buzz-Cut, missing. You kick him again, and again, Buzz-Cut’s fist slams his head against the wall.

The Tagger reaches down and you hear …a sheath? Light reflects off his blade as it knicks Buzz-Cut, forcing him back. You feel your heart racing as your lips twitch.

Kicking him once more, you are rewarded by the blade biting into your leg. He follows up with a swing, which you dodge, falling onto the ground.

The Blonde rushes him and stabs at him with a knife, only managing to get his shoulder before being thrown back, leaving his weapon in the Tagger’s body. Dodging a flurry of attacks, he’s forced against the wall, holding onto the Tagger’s arm as his blade digs into his side. With the Tagger held in place, you move behind him and wrap your arm around his throat, trying to choke him while pulling him off the Blonde.

Tightening your hold, you feel him elbowing you, but hold on. You then feel his blade arm move and are quickly able to guess what he was doing, and you let go. His blade pierces his jacket, right where you were.

Retracting his blade, he turns towards you, and the Blonde takes his blade back, causing the Tagger to swing at him, luckily missing.

By now you are grinning in excitement, it’s been a while since you had such a fun fight, unfortunately, it doesn’t last much longer.

Before the Tagger can make another move, he is riddled with bullets.

Shocked, you turn and see Buzz-Cut holding the gun you kicked away earlier.

Conflicted between being mad that it was over so soon, or glad that it was finally over. You don’t think for long, as a dinging distracts you.

Pulling your phone out, it says, “Game Clear. Congratulations.”

“Wel-” You’re cut off as the Tagger’s neck? Collar, explodes, leaving the wall and floor covered in blood.

Staring at his body, you hear the Blonde speak, “This person… Were they also made to participate in the game?”

Looking down, you see a phone by the body.

“Likely,” You say.

Saying nothing, Buzz-Cut goes to the body and begins looting it, causing you to grimace.

A buzzing sound is heard from a corpse to your left, shocking you that you missed it.

The Blonde goes to check it out and finds a walkie-talkie, from where you are you’re only able to hear, “...in our hands now.”

“”Answer”?” The Blonde mutters. “Hey, can you hear me? Hey, what’s this “answer” you’re talking about?”

It comes back on, “Return. The answer is in our hands now. Return to the beach.”

“The Beach?” He questions, being as confused as you.

My Crazy Roommates (Smut!)

The day starts as it does most days, you wake up, do your morning routine, eat breakfast, and go to work.

Later on, you return home, throwing your shoes off, not caring enough to pick them up, and making yourself comfortable, eating snacks, and watching whatever you want.

Fortunately, they are still blinded by the light.

Unfortunately, you trip and fall. A glance back shows your discarded shoes. Refocusing on the situation, you try to scramble to your feet, but are kicked, landing on your back. You grunt as a foot lands on your chest. Following it up, you see its, admittedly attractive, owner, Suguru Niragi.

“Where do you think you’re going?”

You stumble over your words, unable to get any coherent words out, pissing him off.

“Answer me!” He stomps on your chest.

Fight or flight kicks in and you grasp his leg, but he is kicked off of you, stumbling into the wall.

Xue Yang purses him, not letting a moment pass as Niragi does his best to defend himself.

You miss the snarky comments Xue Yang fires off as your heartbeat fills your ears.

Using this moment to escape, you soon find yourself at your friend’s house, who calls the police for you. But, not even a minute after, your neighbor calls you, telling you that they called the police because of what sounded like “fighting,” and that the two occupants were already in their custody.

For whatever reason, after hanging up, you feel compelled to go to the police station and check on them, much to your and your friend’s bewilderment. But you go and talk to the police, giving them some completely bull story, which later on, you can’t recall how it went, only that you somehow knew what to say.

By the end of it, you say, “They’re my roommates.”

And they let you bail them out.

‘WHY THE FUCK DID I SAY THAT!’ You think, feeling like some higher being must be forcing you, for whatever reason.

By day’s end, Suguru Niragi and Xue Yang, are your “roommates.” Your very dangerous, and attractive, roommates.

Months passed and... you lived.

Though your life wasn’t great at first. You were the only one doing most of the work: cleaning; cooking: shopping: and having a job. What with your “roommates” threatening you, even if they did lose the weapons, you weren’t having a great time. You had expected worse though, you’ve seen their shows after all, which was another thing.

When they found out that they are, were, fictional characters, you expected them to likely lash out.

He leans his head back and opens his mouth with a soft exhale, showing fangs. Shook, your gaze about his body, glowing in the moonlight, before landing on his eyes.

Yesterday, your friends had the bright idea to go to the witches’ house. Now, as previously stated, you wouldn’t have gone, but your friends were willing to pay you just enough to go.

So here you are, having walked across town, through an old gate, up creaking steps, and into a house full of cobwebs, dust, and old knick-knacks.

“So.” You cough as dust gets in your lungs. “What are we here for?”

Silence.

“...Guys.”

Considering you all moved here recently, it occurs to you that they would likely not have any idea, only that this place housed witches. You at least knew about the Sanderson sisters.

“I’m leaving.”

You turn to go out the door, but one of your friends stops you. You couldn’t tell which though, it was too dark.

“Let’s just… look around.”

‘Tanner.’ You think.

“Besides, we had to pay you to come along.”

‘Steve.’

Sighing, “Someone at least find the lights, please.”

Fumbling is heard for a moment, before.

A metallic flick and a small flame, followed by another.

Wind appears.

Green lights appear beneath the floorboards and they begin to shake.

Harry, Cedric and reader are in a poly relationship. What do the boys do when they’re practicing for dueling club and Y/N breaks out wandless magic?

Cedric and Harry and their boyfriend Y/n were all part of dueling club. This up coming weekend was going to be a fun tournament where the winner would win a trophy and a trip to one of the wizarding world’s biggest amusement parks. All three boys wanted that, not the trophy but the vacation together.

Wanting to make sure they all were on their game, they all decided to take part in some training. That’s how the three of them ended up in the room of requirement. 

“Alright so...let’s get started shall we? How about starting off with the basics like flipendo?” Y/n asked taking off his shirt.

Harry and Cedric were too distracted staring at him to answer. Y/n chuckled. “Perhaps I need to put my shirt back on so you two can-”

“NO!” They both shouted in unison. Both of them blushing and smirking. “We’ll pay attention.” Cedric said.

“I’d be more distracted if you put it back on.” Harry said looking sideways.

“Or perhaps I should put it on to distract you as an obsti-” “NO!” Again they shouted and Y/n laughed. He loved messing with them.

“Alright then. who wants to go first?”

Both Harry and Cedric pushed each other a bit to go first but in the end Harry seemed to be the lucky one who got to go first. “Are you ready Y/n? Don’t worry I’ll go easy on y-”

Before Harry could even finish his sentence, Y/n have flicked his hand and Harry went flying. Cedric laughed at the sight before his eyes widened and he turned to his boyfriend. “Y/N! You didn’t even have your wand out. how did you do that?”

“Hard work and dedication. What I’m going to teach you both today.” He said with a smile before turning to Harry. “Honey are you alright?”

Harry stood up with a huge grin. “I’m fine! Y/n that was brilliant!”

Y/n could feel himself blush and rubbed the back of his neck. “It’s nothing really. I just learned how to do it because I thought it would look cool. Now come on let’s get you two to do the same.”

The rest of the day Y/n taught Cedric and Harry how to cast without using a wand. However they also practiced with a wand since until they were better at wandless, they’d be more powerful with wands.

After the training session Y/n went to take a shower with his boyfriends joining him. At dinner the throuple sat together eating and having a good time. When the weekend finally arrived Y/n was the one to win the tournament making his boyfriends proud. They all enjoyed their trip to the amusement park and took so many photos together.

Get to the train station way too early

Your train gets cancelled :(

You can just take the earlier train that's delayed by 50 minutes and comes just at the right time for you :)

What’s Four/Tobias like as a boyfriend? (Both sfw and nsfw)

Tobias is that boyfriend who will act all cold in public but everyone knows he loves you with all his heart. The moment you two are alone he’s just a big teddy bear.

The moment any of the other dauntless try and get with you he get’s very defensive and just a bit possessive. “Keep your eyes off my boyfriend.”

He will ALWAYS pick you for capture the flag and if someone even tries to pick you before him they get hit by one of the nerve darts right as they say your name. “oops.”

Of course with his fear of heights he doesn’t want to go on the zipline, so often you’ll take the train back with him. He often will try and tell you to go. “Go. You shouldn’t have to miss the fun because of me.” You’d simply shake your head. “I can go another time.”

If you’re divergent he’ll do everything he can to make sure you’re okay and taught all the ways not to be discovered, that includes taking you into HIS fear simulation.

He totally would give you a tattoo, probably getting help from Tori though.

Both of you would sit together during meal times, most people would sit a bit further away from you two so not to gain Tobias’ glare.

Tobias of course would move you into his living quarters. “Well you’re my family, I’d like you here with me.”
