What would you do for your child? How far would you go to feed them, to protect them? Would not any parent go out to pick berries or loose a rabbit from the snare to full their little one’s belly? If their child has become...other, yet still themselves, would you not go to any length to see they don’t starve? Become what goes bump in the night, the beast that prowls the woods- be the monster so that they can remain a child.

That wraps up the last pages of my inktober project! Super proud that I was able to see it through, this AU just does things to my brain, so this will probably not be the last time I play around in it lol

Its gunna feel real weird not having pages to complete each week, but it will be nice to work on some other projects!

Like I said in my previous post, here is my inktober ... began in october 2019 and finished far more latter in 2023.

All drawings are construct in the same universe : The Whoniverse and follow the Master. When he is not directly in the drawing, I considered the picture as is his point of view.

I love this quote when Missy speak to The Doctor : 'I've had adventures too. My whole life doesn't revolve around you, you know.'

I am currently working on the inktober list of 2020 still following this course of action. … so maybe, in the future some drawings will be add to these "jungle" themed adventures. One day I will probably try to write a lil' fanfic about these drawings. It might not be "this one"... I mean this adventure in the jungle … cos I have many other idea, and many sketch that I love.

All told, I have curently 40 pictures (.. and many other idea).

Anyway I hope you will enjoyed the journey.

Here's a series of sketches I've done several Octobers back.

The sketches are dedicated to my favorite Russian urban fantasy series "Labyrinths of Echo". I was using Inktober prompts at the time, with a twist where each prompt has something to do with "Labyrinths"'s world and/or characters. Here's the list in order:

Mindless. The main character of the book series, sir Max, had an uncanny ability to bend the wills of other people using his "Deathly Orbs", which in normal mage's hands are meant to kill, but sir Max's non-violent nature distorted the effect to subjugate, rather than kill. Those hit by the Orbs are absolutely obedient, which is demonstrated when sir Max begged an affected person to be okay after what amounts to a car crash, and the person immediately recovered to full health.

Ring. The golden target-like ring pattern on sir Max's draped dress (called loohi [loh-OH-hee] in universe) is actually a mark bestowed upon him by the king, and means that he is a "Death in the Royal Service", which is supposed to intimidate the citizens of Echo more than anything else.

Freeze. One of sir Max's colleagues and closest friend, sir Shurf Lonli-Lokli, is using in his day to day work two enchanted gloves. The right one inflicts paralysis, while the left one disintegrates. Both are so powerful that Shurf is forced to wear magical containment mitts when not in combat.

Frail. Sir Nuflin Moni-Mah, the Arch-magister of the Order of Seven-Leaf Clover, was a pretty old and powerful mage, but his physique left much to be desired.

Enchated. As at the time of the events of early "Labyrinths" novellas the high-level magic was strictly prohibited in Echo, the fabled old-school cuisine was all but forgotten. However, through sir Max's participation, a new legislation was released that allowed the chefs and cooks to use a slightly higher than allowed level of kitchen magic. The Okholla Earrings were introduced to make sure their conjuring does not affect the gentle magical equilibrium.

Husky. Echo's venerable General of the Police, sir Booboota Boh, is just that, with booming voice and a potty mouth to match.

Swing. Booboota is a veteran soldier and knows little of more delicate police work. However, he's always the first to unsheathe his saber.

I am creating content for Inktober, and will be taking some KD/Plo Koon requests this month!

One shots/short content thingies... I am in the middle of a super busy new school year now and am saddled with a subject I have never taught before (creating content till midnight then up at 6AM most days,) so short is all I can manage - but I love requests. Happy to do them.

Just keep 'em clean, please. I have students who read my stuff, so no explicit stuff. You know what I mean.

This thing right here... this thing took me a couple weeks to finally get done. I’ve just been so exhausted and burned out, it’s nearly impossible to focus. Plus I had to quit my job due to an abusive boss, so that was fun. And then halfway through this I found out that my secondary monitor was a bit off in color balance, and that would have been okay except that my main laptop monitor is WAYYYY off and totally undersaturated. And, it can’t be fixed, because my laptop has no adjustment buttons, calibration via Windows needs those buttons, and NVIDIA is not adaptable to laptop adjustment. So. I just had to adjust my secondary monitor and do the art on that. My first few drafts of this character have been off in color, off in shape, off in pattern, but I think I’m finally happy with it.

If you can’t tell, this is an alternate version of Sari Sumdac from Transformers Animated--this is a Transformers Prime version of her, with a different backstory and aged up to an adult. I’ll put more about her under the cut. Along with the reason Breakdown’s spark is there.

I’ve posted a few drafts of this character on here before, mainly for my other Drawtober/Inktober designs over the years. This version is very different. Originally, Vizard was a Decepticon Seeker who was given an experimental T-Cog that let her shapeshift, and she ran to Earth to hide before losing her memory and living as a human.

This time, she started off as Sari. In the Prime universe, she was Dr. Sumdac’s biological daughter and was never made from a protoform. She also never met the Autobots, and grew up as a very curious, sometimes recklessly enthusiastic young woman. Her father always encouraged her curiosity, and so when he passed in a tornado, her impulse control was taken away and she became an urban explorer for the scariest of places.

She finds online that the abandoned MECH base in Russia has people wondering about it, and gets curious herself due to the weird activity going on around Earth at the moment--late in the Prime series, after Breakdown’s body is destroyed the second time by Airachnid and Cylas. Sari buys a plane ticket and sneaks in to explore, and ends up finding a bunch of old experiments left behind in a rush or knocked over in a fight. One section had a storage unit of old Cybertronian parts. Half of it was inaccessible, but near the front was the more recent parts, including Breakdown’s spark chamber, intact.

There’s also experiments with protoforms, Project Chimera prototypes, a different variety of Synthetic Energon, and some Dark Energon. One section has been sealed away in haste, and Sari, endlessly curious, unlocks it and finds a few abominations of Terrorcons--the Dark Energon has mixed with the protoforms and Synth-En, and they’re strong, hungry, and mindless. As Sari runs, she activates a few more experiments, namely the body prototypes. As the broken Synth-En containers mix with them, they connect to the missing piece the scientists hadn’t thought to use: Breakdown’s Spark. This wakes Breakdown up, but unfortunately, while his spark activates the body, it doesn’t see him as a potential framework and doesn’t give him a new body.

Instead, it latches onto Sari and gives her the Vizard transformation. Vizard is pumping with Synth-En (the green fluid in the limbs) and has a variety of different pieces from different Cybertronian forms. Her base parts are that of a Seeker, though, which Breakdown and Vizard only find out much later. Sari fights her way out as Vizard with Breakdown’s advice and they get in contact with Knockout. Megatron doesn’t care about Knockout’s personal trauma and orders him to stay, but Knockout is not about to be separated from Breakdown again, so he deserts to find Sari.

This leads to a bunch of different things I have yet to outline properly, but which I think have better potential than my previous version of Vizard. I know Knockout and Breakdown bond a lot with Sari whilst also being exasperated with her whims, and out of concern for her safety (partially because if she dies, so does Breakdown) they end up asking the Autobots for help. It takes time before they consider themselves part of that team, but they are at least neutral allies for a while.

At one point, while looking through the old MECH base for clues that they can use to help Sari and rebuild Breakdown, they unlock the sealed parts room and find the Seeker pieces used for Vizard. Turns out they were Skywarp and Thundercracker, and their spark chambers are also stored away, if more old and delicate due to time. Knockout contacts Starscream, who has a similar experience: Megatron says no and gives threats, Starscream has to essentially fight his way out, maybe I’ll have Bumblebee or someone help him get out. And then he’s very gung-ho about the research so he can have his Trine back.

Sari’s Vizard form being made from his Trine kind of makes her his sister, and Starscream slowly bonds with her rather than sees her with disgust. He is insistent on teaching her to act more dignified to go with his original, aristocratic status. Sari is insistent on him apologizing to Arcee, now that he more immediately knows the pain of wanting your partners to be okay. It’s rough and there’s a few fights, but eventually they at least tolerate each other. The kids love Sari and Miko is absolutely determined to befriend the former Cons and show she can.

Throughout all this the Synth-Terrorcons are on the rise, and the Autobots mainly agree to work with Sari and the defects in order to fight off the hoarde. They need the MECH research in order to stop the infection from spreading, since the Synth-En mixing with the Dark Energon is making extra cyber-matter grow and form new zombies everywhere. So, between the heartwarming bonding and silly moments, there’s a lot of trauma and horror and fighting with unexpected allies. Skywarp and Thundercracker welcome Vizard as their sibling (Skywarp is nearly in tears with his hammy enthusiasm) and Knockout and Breakdown sort of act as her adoptive parents. There will probably still be further drafts and changes to this design and story, but I like where it’s going so far.

INKtober Day 1-DR. IVO ROBOTNIK!

Video game’s most famous (or infamous) mad scientist! As if using his genius and inventions to try to take over the world isn’t bad enough, turning innocent animal characters into mindless robots is! Fortunately, his schemes have a habit of being thwarted by a certain super powered, speedy blue hedgehog named: SONIC!!

•–< [ Retrospective #5 ] >–• The Inktober 2019 Pile!

Folks, I am pleased to introduce to y'all my proudest relic from my drawing days past... a celebration of my passions and the gateway to all my art going forward. This is my piece for Day 31 of Inktober 2019.

Before Inktober 2019, my first drawings were simply a way to express my growing love for indie games, and a means to make overly ambitious crossovers happen. OneShot, Freedom Planet, Meat Boy, and Hollow Knight, were all some of my biggest crazes at the time, and so was Super Smash Bros, the largest gaming crossover in history. Look at all of these great characters! Who's going to sing their songs overlooked and unite them for the fan service??

Then came Inktober, circling around on Instagram. Seeing the daily prompts, I suddenly thought of putting on a theme by featuring those same indie game characters, no ink required! What would happen? Sash Lilac would pose with a V-sign for her resemblance to a "Ring"-hoarding hedgehog, "Little Ghost" and its shade would "Mindless"ly toy around with a Rubik's Cube, Snatcher would "bait" Hat Kid into the classic bag tied to a tree branch, and Tim (Braid) would pull a matrix and "Freeze" bullets in place!

The doodles started small, but soon evolved to include up to eight characters at once as my creativity skyrocketed. Those doodles will be coming soon with their own Retrospectives :)

For now, I will channel my past giddy self, and test you all on your familiarity with the world of hidden gems.

I still have my big sheet of data from 2019, and the highest score is 40/65! Additionally, 13/65 characters were never identified within the pile! Let me know how it goes, and I'll let you know if you've broken the longstanding records. Now... GO!

Inktober 2019 Collection (Horses of the Wild) Part 1

If you don't know what is Horses of the Wild, it's a zoomorphic BotW AU.

Day 1 - Ring

At the moment of the Great Calamity happened, the bell ringer of Hyrule town stayed and tried to remind the residents. However, a guardian already found him…

这是大灾厄发生时的一个瞬间。海拉鲁城邑的敲钟马毅然留守钟楼，敲响警报以疏散全城的居民，然而在远处，守卫者早已悄然接近。这口警钟在开始准备应对盖侬时按国王旨意开始修建，放置在钟楼的一个区域内，有着特殊的音色。为了做好最坏的打算，全城紧急撤离计划被制定，仅在没有其他退路时执行。挨家挨户敲门通知，疏散标志和值班员被安排妥当，钟被挂上试听声音。通知居民们的内容是，一旦听到钟声，就停止一切活动，丢下所有物品，按预定路线撤离城镇，不要回头。

这个计划给居民们造成了一些恐慌，大家表面上打趣说“直接弃城，永不回头太扯了”，但是内心却都希望钟永远都不要响。国王看到了这些情况，便重申这只是好几个后备计划中最后的退路，几乎用不到，又放出些稳定民心的当前计划进展。随着好消息的增加，大家又回到了日常生活的节奏，值班员每天的紧张神经也开始松弛下来，钟也开始落灰。

没错，这只是个为最坏的情况准备的后备计划，虽然现在情况不明朗，但我们只能成功不能失败，不是吗？我们那么想成功，付出了那么多努力也有进展，结果应该不会绝到那个地步，不是吗？每个人都不停循环着这个想法，设法说服了自己，这事就这么过去了。

然后钟就响了。

不知为何个人很喜欢补写这种大世界下小角色在历史转折点的故事。主角的事迹已经被传播很多了，增加这种小角色故事很有趣，也通过普通人���角凸显整个世界的真实感。

Day 2 & Day 3 - Mindless & Bait

Mindless，这里取本意“没头脑的、（做事）不考虑的、盲目的”。Bait，这里取本意“引诱、放诱饵”。这只波克布林没考虑太多，好奇靠近了遥控炸弹，等待它的大家都懂的（滑稽）

在旷马世界波克布林被四足动物化（打回原形233），为一种外貌像猪的小型怪物。头大身小、尾巴为猪尾、蹄为猪蹄（偶蹄目？）。

Day 4 - Freeze

Inktober day4主题Freeze，提到冰冻当然就是希卡石的功能了。画的是前一块冰碎裂，后一块冰升起的瞬间。虽然在游戏中做不到这么连续的��冻跑路但是脑补一下还是很酷炫的！

Day 5 -Build

Several years later after the Great Calamity, horses build the first stable and trying to back home, although the land is covered with monsters and ruins.

Inktober day5主题Build，取原意“建造”。就像BotW原声带里一首歌的曲名一样，Life in ruins。时间流逝，大地和大地之上的人们在废墟中重整旗鼓，开始了新的生活。

在百年前，海拉鲁也是有驿站的，但它们彼此独立，并不像现在一样。大灾厄改变了一切。

从灾厄之下幸存的马儿与其他动物一起，被盖侬的污染驱逐出了家乡。幸存者们集结成小群体，开始向地图边缘的区域迁徙。污染的土地再也无法产出食物，游荡的怪物与守护者虎视眈眈，每一天，他们都在做着取舍，担心着能否活到明天。在无数个日夜的逃亡之后，一小队幸存者终于来到了非常遥远的土地，得以安定下来并建立一个小小的营地。

一年又一年过去，营地在他们的努力之下开始逐渐壮大，但他们却一直遥望着家乡土地的方向。污染开始退去，植物开始回归，幸存者们急切又迟疑着。家乡现在怎么样了？如果我们回去，会不会遇到危险？

终于有一天，他们下定了决心。一位天马使者被派出打探情况，几天之后，使者安全归来并带回了来自哈特诺村的书信。返乡之旅便在大家的期盼中正式开始。然而一切并不是那么顺利。昔日的城镇仅剩残垣断壁，污染区虽有所消退，但还是无从下蹄，他们发现自己虽然回到土地之上，但依然无处可去。

回家比一切重要，他们不会离开。他们开始商议，在废墟之上，一座新的建筑将被建起。这座建筑将为他们提供最初的住所和生活所需，以此为营，他们将逐渐开拓四周。材料稀缺，帐篷的形式便被定下。各家各户都拿出自己的一份材料支持，虽然成果看起来像拼凑而成，但它却给了大家无比强烈的信心。

这座建筑就是第一所驿站。自此以后，污染区被逐渐打通，桥梁、道路与一座座新的驿站也被建起。各处的幸存者开始能够互通消息，海拉鲁再也不是死气沉沉的禁区。

大地总会治愈自己的创伤，断壁残垣终将被绿色覆盖。而这片大地上的居民也终将回归，在废墟之上开始新的生活。
