Tips You Need to Know to Post on Instagram 2023 | Liveblack
Instagram is the one thing everyone scrolls after waking up. It’s become routine to check Instagram to stay updated with everything happening worldwide. It is considered the platform that earns you a lot of engagement and is a proven fact. We can call it a standard platform for creators and businesses to engage with their audience through innovative content. However, there’s a thing everyone should know about posting on Instagram: posting at whatever time you like doesn’t get you more reach and engagement.
You put a lot of effort into preparing an entire post, and it needs to reach the audience the way you want; your hard work runs into a loss. Growing an audience base is never easy, as you have to compete with other creators, businesses, brands, etc., to stand out in the herd. So how can you get more reach and engagement through Instagram? Well, a simple answer is to know the best time to post on Instagram. What is the best time to post on Instagram? So here we are, ready with a detailed answer and some tips and tricks of engagement techniques that land you a helping hand to make your hard work worthwhile through high engagement.
Multiple factors affect engagement — time to post, location, type of audience, content, etc. Many platforms have researched the best time to post and get multiple common data on days and specific times for posting.
However, only some mentioned times or days can lead you to the highest engagement because every business and creator has its niche, and it also depends on the quality of content you post and the location. It’s hard to say about any particular average time to post on Instagram but take a look at the information we will share here.
Every time Instagram changes its algorithm, and tricks everyone with something new. But what remains the same is checking on which time you get the most engagement.
Things that help you achieve your Instagram goals include — interest, recent posts, and how frequently you get through some particular accounts. These three things will help you understand the behavior of your audience.
Anyone interested in any particular Instagram account or posts will most likely appear on top of their feed. When people have free time, they use Instagram, and most of the time, the recent posts they see get the most reach and engagement. See, time helps you with everything. And now, the most critical point is how frequently the audience searches for any particular post and account on Instagram.
All it means is that you have to post frequently, not in quantity posts but in quality content, and get a higher chance to connect with your audience. Each day of the week has its time. You can post or schedule your post accordingly. Workdays are the most recommended to post as on weekends, people are busy with their personal lives and do not spend much time on social media. But you still have a chance to get an engagement on weekends for a specific time slot.
The location also plays a vital role in getting more from Instagram. Audiences differ from countries and states or cities that like different content as per their interest. The wider your audience, you don’t have to worry about time, but if you are a local business or just started playing on Instagram, you must be careful with each step you take. Consider posting at the best time to get the most reach, likes, comments, and shares.
Every audience is unique, and you see a different level of engagement with your primary audience. Sometimes you see some accounts get more likes, comments, shares, and everything despite posting whichever content, but don’t be demotivated as good things take time, and the best time comes for you and your engagement.
Understand your primary audience and what they are interested in, and, according to that, take action for what you want from them. Like, comment, share, or save your post, click the link that leads them to your website, etc., and give priority to your primary audience by posting quality content at the best time. Social media statistics show the actual numbers and data so that you can get an idea about when you get the most engagement, how your posts perform on a particular weekday, which time is suitable for your business to post, and what type of content people like from your account, age and gender of the audience who engages with you, etc. your Instagram app will help you every way possible to collect the necessary data.
On the other hand, reels are making heads turn every day with their unique approach and creative side; you can also check out the best time to post Instagram reels.
There are tools to help you schedule your posts and analyze the data of all your posts. Even an Instagram app will help you with the data, including date, time, day, gender, age, etc., to make it easier to record your audience’s behavior and the performance of your posts.
Throughout your Instagram account, post consistently with the quality content you prepared to engage your audience, customers, or new users. Never sacrifice quality over quantity, as you should deliver the best you have in your box for your audience. If you are running out of creative ideas, check out other businesses’ and creators’ accounts to get new ideas on reels and posts.

Seed of Romanoff
Dark!Natasha Romanoff x Innocent!FReader
Request | A redhead spotted you in a cafe, and nothing was gonna stand in her way of getting to you | WC: 3,376
Warnings: Non-Con (Trafficking — By parent) | Abusive Mom | Drugs | Toxic Natasha |
Smut: Non-Con | Daddy (N) | Little Dove (R) | Restraints | Unprotected Sex (P in V - Natasha has a penis) | Degrading | Forced Breeding | Belly-Bulge |

You were hesitant, hands sweating, and teeth grinding levels of nerves raced throughout your entire body as you finally entered your house with Wanda, your new classmate turned friend. The girl had made it clear that she liked you, and the truth was you thought you might like her too, but you needed others approval first.
Your mom was really easygoing, most would say neglectful, but you figured that would probably work in your favor. It was Natasha, her youthful wife's approval that you craved, and for some reason, you never got.
——
"Hey mom," you greeted her with a hopeful smile, "I have someone I want you to meet." This caught Natasha's attention immediately, she sprung up from the couch and met the lot of you in the kitchen. You were so engrossed in letting Wanda introduce herself to them to notice the way your mom winced at your step mothers touch, her grip vice-like on her hips.
"It's lovely to meet you Wendy," Natasha replied, a cordial hand extended her way. The brunette chuckled awkwardly, shaking her hand out of respect, but you could see the way her demeanor had changed. It made you sad to see Nat likely didn't approve, because you were honestly running out of options at this point.
"Wanda," you politely corrected your stepmom, then went on in the same breath, "and I will be going up to my room now. We have an exam to study for this Friday." The way you rushed off, with her hand in yours, in a fit of giggles made the redheads blood boil.
"It's time," was all she offered your mother, the spineless woman nodded then set off to her bedroom while Natasha watched you walk into your own with the live footage now pulled up on her phone.
You were just too cute for words honestly, the way you plopped onto your bed with a silly smile made her swoon. Then she felt her mood fall when Wanda sat next to you, the strawberry brunette's hand brazenly laid on your bare thigh, and the jealousy was back as if it'd never truly left. Because it didn't, anytime someone so much as looked at what was hers she fumed.
You didn't know, but you were hers, she ensured that ages ago when she met your mom in a nightclub and tricked her into believing she was interested in her.
Natasha was well off, and your mother poor. It was easy for her to convince your mom to give her you. Your father left her when you were just a tike, and she resented you for taking her youth. As if you'd asked to be born, but regardless of the circumstances you were dealt, you were just so good. The kindest creature Natasha had ever seen, an obvious innocence that stemmed from neglect radiated from you, it was what attracted the redhead to you in the first place. When she saw you smile for the first time she was hooked.
Natasha, who was much closer to your age than your mother's, caught sight of you on campus one day. You smiled warmly at the barista, and she felt a darkness envelope her heart since it wasn't directed at her. She took a photo of you, but remained out of your eye line as she ran your face through an algorithm. Confirming to her that you were a bit younger, and so damn cute, the naivety radiated off of your instagram account.
All she knew after you left the coffee shop with a hum was that she had to have you. It was her final year of her doctorate while it appeared to only be the third of your bachelors. She knew better than to just approach you alone, you were far too delicate for her gruff, relentless demeanor. So she set out to learn all about you, and the life that led you to where you were now.
Then one day, when your mom was desperate for a fix, Natasha struck a hell of a deal. It was illegal in every single sense, but your mom took it without even a second thought to your safety or happiness. An endless supply of drugs and a home in Miami in exchange for you, her only child. The concept was sinister, and sadly fit her well. It wasn't even her first time considering it.
Fortunately, you got Natasha instead of the sleaze that propositioned her months prior. In this case, you were at least going to experience love, even in a twisted way.
Everything was finally falling into place for Natasha, your mom didn't seem to want to call it off, not that she really cared if she had. Now she could only work out if she handled Wanda first. No way was she about to let that slut have her way with you, your virginity was the redheads. She quite literally paid for that and your child bearing abilities, your genetic predisposition to fertility a cherry on top of the perverse sundae.
Your mother had vacated her womb enough times to confirm to Natasha that was the case. Surprisingly though, the redhead would've been fine if you were only able to carry one. As much as she wanted to breed you endlessly, until your body forgot how to be barren, she also was fine with one heir and the trophy wife.
First though, before she could embark on her fantasy, came the removal of the obstacle. Wanda, the younger redhead, who shared characteristics with the elder that made her want to laugh. Even in your conquest for love elsewhere did you find someone who resembled her. Whether it be her green eyes or red hair, there hadn't been a time where you brought someone unlike her home. It was a perfect reminder of your looming fate.
"Hey! Open this door right now!" Natasha shouted as the side of her fist pummeled into your locked door, "No closed doors in my house!" The action shook the walls surrounding you and startled you out of the horny girls grasp. Wanda glared at the shaking door and you just sat there with a delicate frown. Natasha had never so much as shouted at you before, so the sound actually left you feeling like a wounded puppy.
Your precious Natty, the light in the darkness that was your previous life with your mom was someone you didn't recognize at all today. It hurt your heart, because she'd never had an issue with you closing the door when Peter was over before. Though deep down you knew Wanda was harmless, your body began to regard her as a threat since your stepmom, who you adored, had clearly despised her. The cycle continued on.
"You should probably go," you sadly spoke up, "I-I really do need to focus on my study guide."
Wanda frowned, but with one look into your eyes she realized your daunting predicament. It was clear you were the mouse that'd collect the cheese, and Natasha was setting her trap. If she thought she could help she would, but deep in your gaze she could see you contently fell prey. The woman reluctantly nodded, standing to collect her bag just as she heard an ominous sound of metal scraping just outside the door. You stood up, and opened the door first, walking out to meet the fuming woman. Your soft hand settled onto her arm, and she lowered the hopefully empty gun.
"Are you okay detka?" You kindly smiled up at her over the concern, appreciating it and failing to see the way that her lips were fighting to keep from amusedly lifting. "Did she take advantage of you my little dove?"
"No," you sighed, smile falling ever so slightly, "We were just talking, she is leaving though." Wanda put truth to your words as she passed by in a rush.
"I'm sorry," Natasha solemnly said after a moment of awkward silence (she wasn't), "I just need you to be more careful sweetheart." Her lips gently pressed to your temple, and you melted into her, no discomfort present even as her pistol pressed into your back. "You are too pure, you'll never know who has ill intentions."
Oh how right she was... You'd never know.
With your front flush to hers she felt her cock twitch with anticipation for the upcoming day that she finally got to claim you, in totality. Tomorrow couldn't come fast enough. "I love you so much, my precious girl."
——
The following day you woke up to a knock, it was a simple two beats, so you lazily got up and once presentable headed downstairs to eat. However, instead of a table of delicious food you found your mom stood by the door with a suit case by her side.
"Mom?" The middle aged woman smiled, but it was weak as she opened her arms for a hug (a goodbye). It held an apology you didn't see; it was better that way.
"Hey kiddo, I'm headed off for a bit," she pinched your side and smiled, but her eyes looked sad as you met them. "Why? For how long?" She sighed, "A month."
"Natty too?" You cringed, you didn't mean for it to sound so obvious that you cared more about her, but it was always obvious. Charlotte never had the time of day for you, but Nat always did. Natasha found it hard not to laugh at your mom, whose face looked sad.
Natasha found the moment perfect, the way you were about to be all hers was beyond exhilarating. It was also a shameless way to check you out and disgust your vile mother. How dare she sell you... Like you were filthy trash... Fortunately you were left to Natasha, she'd never let you go, you were safest in her arms.
"Nope detka," Natasha sang from behind you, the sound of jingling keys followed her. "We're gonna take your mom to the airport, and then we'll get breakfast."
No one offered you more, not where your mom was going, nor the unsavory reasoning, and truthfully you didn't care to ask. Alone time with Nat was your favorite, every other time your mom left you alone with her you had the time of your life. This time would prove different though, you felt it when she kissed your lips as she entered the car after eating at the diner.
"Na-Natasha," you stuttered out her name, she found it amusing the way you were about to resist her advances even though your eyes had yet to flutter back open. "Don't worry detka, your mom is gone for good now, so we can finally be together. No more other people..."
"No, s-she said a month," you whimpered, both from the proposed betrayal and her hand on your thigh. "Your mother is a liar Y/N, you'll see that I'm not..."
The car ride home was quiet, except for the pounding of your heartbeat in your ears as her hand settled on your thigh, her grip possessive, and confusing. It was just as quiet when she guided you back inside the house, but it didn't remain as such. Natasha pushed you up against the door, with a gentle force to show you she meant what she said before, and you believed it when her lips and hands began to roughly roam.
"You're married," you tried to deter her, but she only shrugged and continued to kiss down your jawline. "That wasn't real, I only married her to have you."
"What?" Natasha pulled back, lips upturned as she saw the fear in your eyes and hot spurts of white coated the tip of her cock and spread all over her boxers. It was apparent to her that you were going to resist some, so she threw you over her shoulder and tossed you onto the bed that she shared with your mother. "Don't worry dove, we never slept together, daddy's all yours."
You cringed outwardly, but much to your shock, you felt as your heart fluttered at the twisted truth, and your virgin cunt dampened with her chosen title.
"I'm doing this for your own good," she informed you as she tied your hands to the posts of her bed. "It would be a shame if you tried to fight destiny."
"Natty," you whimpered, feelings disgusted as your core pulsed in need. “I-I.” For a brief moment she softened. "This is wrong, y-you're my step mom."
"I'm your daddy actually," she chuckled darkly, "I'm here to turn you into a mommy, so get comfortable."
No words left you as you tried to understand your fate. It wasn't until you felt the chilled tip of a blade on your bare skin that you realized you were now naked. "My mom won't be happy, you are not supposed to do this."
Natasha ran her blade down the side of your neck, a whimper left you as you felt the blood trickle down your skin and into the sheets. "Oh, you are just as naive as your mom is a filthy deviant; she gave you to me."
"N-no," you cried, you didn't want to believe her, but it wasn't like you didn't know your mom was a disaster.
"Your mother wasn't worth a sack of shit," she gritted against the skin of your neck as her hands roughly caressed your concealed womb. "But you, I just know that you'll be everything our kids will ever need."
"Kids?" You gulped, her words were clear moments ago, but yet you seemed confused until now, and the redhead chuckled, "Mhm, gonna fill you up until you are begging for more Y/N, my personal cum dump.”
Natasha smirked as your walls clenched around nothing in direct contradiction with your pleading words and persistent attempts to shove her away as your lower body pitifully tried to thrust her off. You were torn between the pleasure you'd craved for years, and the strangely alluring promise of becoming her pretty little housewife to push hard enough. "I'm not sure I want to be a mom Natty," you finally whimpered loud enough and she just laughed in your face as she pushed her cock inside of you without preparation.
The sight of your eyes crossing and mouth opening had her prematurely ejaculating, truly sealing your fate.
"Don't worry my little dove," she coo'd while stilling her hips, reluctantly allowing your untouched body a chance to get used to her twitching intrusion. "You'll be nothing like her, I promise, you'll be the perfect mom."
"I don't want to be," you cried, hands pulling at the restraints, but your words of protest were negated as you moaned like a filthy whore with a simple jolt of her hips. “Daddy isn’t in the business of caring detka.” You whimpered, heart shattering at the coldness you were not expecting from the woman you’d adored, but in the same breath you were incredibly turned on by it all.
This idea of being her filthy whore; just a hole to fuck and a womb to fill, was exciting you greatly. “That’s right detka, let daddy do all the thinking for you.” Her speed picked up in response. Your faux display of disinterest only spurring her on to show you just how much you wanted this too. It was a dual need.
With every thrust you could feel her tip twitch, and a spurt of her essence would follow. It alarmed you the more real it became that she was genuine about breeding you. Desire as you might to be hers, you were still in the process of your final year in undergrad, and had every intention to start your masters child free.
“Natasha please,” you cried, legs trying to squeeze shut, and your cunt was slick enough that it nearly pushed her back out but she thrusted against you. Her hips forced yours back onto the bed, and the way in which her tip slammed into your cervix made your mind go blank, and pussy flutter uncontrollably.
"Nice try slut!" Her fingers caressed the bump protruding from your abdomen in awe, the outline of the tip of her cock clear as day. "Your walls are working overtime to suck me dry, don't you feel it detka?" She grinned wickedly as her hand pressed firmly into your abdomen. "The urge to be full of me? My perfect little whore to breed. You'll never be hollow again."
You sobbed, it was gut wrenching, but not to Natasha. This was just par for the course, you needed a minute to see that this was always how life was meant to be. Natasha was your soulmate, you didn’t need anyone else, and she knew with time you’d be okay with that.
“Shh, stress isn’t good for baby making detka,” she scolded you as she pulled her cock out and kissed your lips with a tenderness, giving you emotional whiplash. Natasha slid a plug inside of you, it was efficient in keeping her cum inside, but purposefully short enough that you couldn’t derive pleasure by humping it. Your fate was indeed sealed; Natasha was a lot of (terrible) things, but she was never a liar. Her seed painted your fertile insides white, and every day since she's done the same. Sex with you had become a fast addiction, it took you only a minute to accept the reality. You sorta loved it, your stretched hole ached for her cock the entire time she would be away, you'd become insatiable too.
She wondered if it was the pre-natals she'd been slipping you every morning in your special smoothies that increased your need, but she liked to believe it was just your natural, insatiable attraction to her. Either way, she indulged the both of your carnal desires.
Before work she'd wake you up with her cock between your tits, you no longer wore clothes to bed because you never woke up in them anyways. After giving her head just like she wanted, with your once virgin mouth, she'd allow you to get her to the edge, but she'd always make sure to save her release for your womb.
Never one to waste an opportunity to fill you.
On the weekends she'd bend you over the coffee table, fucking you raw from the back while she caught up on her favorite shows. It was a mindless means to ensure you were carrying her kin, but at night she'd give it to you with more passion than before. There was a new toy at her disposal every single time, you wondered if the tellers at Kiss-N-Tell knew her by name now.
Natasha was a multi-millionaire, no cost was too much if it meant she could see you writhing with a pleasure only she could offer you. The redhead succeeded in ruining you for anyone else, and there was never much hope for another anyway. Not only were you stupidly in love with the woman, but you knew your only hope at freedom was her wife—your mom, who was gone.
That doomed hope of yours fizzled out fast. The month had come and gone, but in the end the only mother present within the four walls of your house was you as you held the test between your shaky hands. Two red lines, prominent in nature, flashed right up at you.
Natasha, the cause, was at work while you were crying in the bathroom. Then you heard the alarm on your phone. The oven was ready... You set two prepped buns on the pan, and zoned out as the sliders warmed. How hilarious and ironic as the two lines weren't the only pair at play here... Soon enough you'd understand.
Your heart soon cracked as Natasha held your son, Xavier, while your daughter, Inez, laid on your bare chest after a successful feeding. It was almost domestic, especially when Natasha kissed your lips with an unfamiliar tenderness.
"I can't wait for our family to keep growing," she grinned against your lips, feeling the way they shook as you gulped down your fear.
What a silly girl you were to hope for love...

"We are, the employees of Allah, after all."
What is the parameter of success in our work? Of your writings, your artworks, your social media posts?
As someone who's into art and writing, I was in my quest to answer that question. In medical school, I am so accustomed to diagnostic criteria with which we are able to diagnose diseases for our (future) patients. When these boxes are tick, they summed a certain score sometimes indicating severity.
Yes, a quantifiable parameter would be an easier answer to the question. But is it the same for this case?
Until one day, Allah led me to an instagram post by Farah Qoonita, whose words haunted me until now.
Is it determined by the number of copies your books sold?
Or the amount of views and likes in your posts?
Or the cheers and chants of your name that you received?
Or the rows of awards on your shelf?
These lines sting.
No. Alas, they are not the indicator of success.
I then see myself on the stage during talkshows. I remember the compliments I received, admiration look I saw. Shaytaan it is. Playing tricks on my heart, to deviate my intentions. That for a brief moment, I was indeed: feeling proud of myself. Astaghfirullah.
This similar case occurs for social media posts. Likes, comments, saves, shares, reaches, new followers and so on! (Do you know, how much youtube videos discuss hacks to gain more of these by breaking Instagram algorithms? Are these what our generation is only after?)
It is when.. the praises are addressed, not to you, but rather to The One whose all praises belong to.
It is when.. admirers admire, not you, but The Creator of sky, earth and all in between.
It is when.. enthusiasts wish to be in vicinity, not with you, but with The Almighty.
As the story of Prophet Sulaiman (PBUH) and the Queen. By the Prophet Sulaiman's crafted castle, impressed she became. No, not to his figure. The Queen prostrated and believed. To Him.
This is, the highest rank of work.
Today, Ustadzah Faiza disclosed her story of her journey in understanding this concept. The wisdom she attained was,
"Create, share and tell. However remember! We are nothing but employees of Allah. We work not to introduce ourselves, but introduce Him.
Shift the center of focus, to The Almighty. Let ourselves play the only role to be intermediary of His messages.
This is the pledge, from the very beginning.
And wait for His Wonders of Guidance."
Today.
We are filled with digressed intentions.
We seek only popularities within earth.
Had we not dream of being acknowledged throughout the Skies?
Astaghfirullah.
-h.a.

What are each of the turtles' (and mayhaps some other characters like April and Casey if you're cool with that 👀) favorite social medias?
Favorite social media
Hello friend, thanks for the request! I feel like social media is a big part of the turtles lives, mostly because it's so hard for them to meet new people organically.
Leo
1. Tumblr. This guy is spending most of his time looking for Space Heroes headcanons and you can't convince me otherwise. He definitely has a Space Heroes blog himself
2. Instagram. He loves to see what people are up to.
3. Tiktok. He actually liked it so much, he decided to delete it to boost his productivity, because he ended up doomscrolling.
Raph
1. Twitter. He secretly enjoys celebrity drama, even if he will never admit it
2.Snapchat. Has some of Caseys friends on here too, the main way he communicates with people. He forced all of his brothers to get Snapchat too, reacts faster on their snaps then texts.
3. Instagram. Mostly looks at memes on here.
Donnie
1. Youtube. He loves putting it on while he's working on an invention, or watches tutorials on how to build or code things.
2. Reddit. He's a very curious guy.
3. Tiktok. The algorithm is really good, so he gets a lot of science related videos
Mikey
1. Tiktok. Dopamine addict.
2. Twitch. Loves watching people play horror games, because he could never play them himself.
3. Instagram. Mostly because everyone else uses it, and this is the only way he can send Leo and Raph memes, because Raph rarely and Leo never uses tiktok anymore.
April
1. Instagram. That's the main platform everyone she knows uses anyway, and she loves to stalk people she knew from highschool.
2. Pinterest. Outfit inspo, study motivation, all the good stuff
3. Facebook. That's how she keeps in touch with friends from elementary and her family.
Casey
1. Tiktok. He has a hockey/rollerskating account where he does cool tricks and jumps
2. Snapchat. Snaps his friends and his hockey team has a snapgroup.
3. Instagram. Everyone from highschool had it, so he sort of got stuck on it.
Splinter
1. Youtube. Very rarely watches something on here. Mostly he believes that social media is full of unnecessary distractions.
2. Facebook. He knows Facebook exists, that's about as good as it's going to get.
3. Yea, that's literally it. He barely knows how to use a smartphone. Back in the day, he just had a flipphone, so that he could call and be called, but that's about all he does with his new phone too.

🧡 Tuesday Tips #4: 🧡 50 Reasons to Build a Personal Website Instead of Relying on Social Media
So you’ve been thinking about making a personal website, huh? Maybe you're feeling a little burned out from ad bombardments, or just social media in general lately. Good news: you’re not alone. There’s a growing group of people carving out cozy corners of the internet that are completely their own. We call it the Small Web (also known as the Indie Web), and it’s honestly kind of magical.
Still not sure if you're ready to dive in? Here are 50 reasons why building a personal website beats relying on social media. (Warning: may cause spontaneous domain name purchases.)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
1. It’s yours. Like, actually yours.
When you post on social media, you're essentially renting space. Your content can be removed, shadowbanned, or buried at any time without warning. With your own site, you're the landlord, the designer, and the content creator all rolled into one. It’s digital ownership in its purest form.
2. No weird algorithm whispering.
Social media is a game of guessing what the algorithm wants. One day, it loves video. The next, it punishes you for posting too much. With a personal website, what you post is what people see—no weird magic tricks required.
3. No ads.
Unless you choose to put them there. Your website doesn’t need to shout at visitors to buy toothpaste or download the latest app. It can just be a calm, ad-free oasis of you.
4. Zero doomscrolling.
You know the drill. You go on to post something and 45 minutes later you’re deep into a thread of rage. Your personal site? No feed, no drama. (You can create a blog feed though via RSS if you want to!)
5. You can make it look exactly how you want.
Want a sparkly cursor? A cozy vintage theme? Maybe a floating cat gif? Go for it. Your site is your canvas, and there are no design police.
6. You get to be weird.
Weird is welcome. In fact, it's encouraged. Build a shrine to your favorite childhood cartoon or create a digital bookshelf of every novel you’ve ever loved. There are no rules here.
7. You’ll learn cool stuff.
Even if you’re starting with zero knowledge, making a website teaches you things—HTML, CSS, design, structure, creative writing. It’s the kind of learning that feels like playing.
8. You can make it feel like a digital home.
Social profiles are rented apartments. Your website? A house you get to decorate, organize, and live in. It becomes a familiar, comfortable space that reflects you.
9. No one’s watching your every move.
Unlike social media platforms, which track everything you do to serve you ads, your website can be a surveillance-free zone. Visitors can hang out without being followed around the internet afterward.
10. You’re not competing for likes.
There’s no like button on your site (unless you want one). So you’re free to post what you love, not what will perform best in a popularity contest.
11. You set the vibe.
Want lo-fi music autoplaying in the background? Go for it. Want every page to start with a motivational quote or your cat's daily wisdom? It’s all up to you. Your site, your mood.
12. It can evolve with you.
Unlike a locked-down profile, your personal site can grow, change, and shift over time. Turn your blog into a portfolio. Make your old art gallery a recipe archive. It’s a living space.
13. No random feature changes.
Remember when Instagram tried to become TikTok overnight? Yeah. Your website isn’t going to suddenly switch up on you because a CEO changed their mind. Stability, baby. You make the rules.
14. You decide what stays up.
Posts don’t disappear unless you want them to. No mysterious removals. No content warnings slapped on your grandma's casserole recipe.
15. You won’t get locked out.
Unless you forget your password (write it down!), you can’t get banned from your own website. No more waking up to “your account has been suspended” emails.
16. You control the narrative.
Algorithms love to de-contextualize things. Your website gives you the full story. A place to explain, explore, and express on your own terms.
17. People visit because they want to.
They didn’t stumble in while scrolling. They came to see you. That kind of intentionality makes every visit feel a little more meaningful.
18. You can make timeless content.
Instead of disappearing into a sea of tweets, your thoughts can live forever on a well-organized blog post or static page. Evergreen content has a real home on the web.
19. It helps you build your digital legacy.
Someday, people will want to know who you were. Your website is a time capsule. A treasure map. A story of who you are in your own words.
20. You can connect without the chaos.
Guestbooks, comment sections, or even email forms let people reach out without the noise of DMs, trolls, or spam bots.
21. No character limits.
Got a lot to say? Say it. You're not confined to 280 characters or forced to cut down your thoughts to fit a format. Write a sentence or an essay—your site doesn’t care.
22. You can build your own community.
With a little creativity, you can add forums, guestbooks, chat boxes, or webrings. Create a cozy club of like-minded folks without relying on corporate platforms.
23. It’s immune to social media shutdowns.
When a platform dies or gets bought out and ruined (*cough* Twitter), your site doesn’t flinch. It’s still there, waiting for visitors.
24. You can express yourself fully.
From color schemes to quirky fonts and animated gifs, you’re not boxed into a single identity photo and bio. Let your personality spill into every page.
25. There are no trolls unless you invite them.
You can moderate comments or remove them entirely. Unlike public platforms, you don’t have to tolerate abuse, spam, or bad vibes.
26. You get to experiment freely.
Try a new blog format, embed a mini-game, host a digital pet. You can play and break things and rebuild—all without anyone watching.
27. It gives you creative freedom.
Poetry, zines, recipes, fiction, rants, longform essays, audio diaries—whatever you make, there’s space for it.
28. Your content won’t be buried.
On social media, your posts vanish/become irrelevant within hours. On your site, people can discover things you wrote years ago just as easily as something from yesterday.
29. You can showcase your work beautifully.
Whether you're a photographer, writer, or crocheter, your site can act as a curated gallery. Show off what you’re proud of without it being surrounded by chaos.
30. It’s a great place to archive.
Old blog posts, artwork, digital journals—your site becomes a place to store your memories, milestones, and the things that matter most to you.
31. You can link out to cool stuff.
Unlike platforms that try to trap you inside their walls, your website can point people to other places you love, including friends’ sites, resources, or secret gems.
32. You’re not a product.
Social media thrives on turning users into data. Your website doesn’t track or manipulate you. It’s just… yours. That's it! There's no catch.
33. It doesn’t interrupt you.
No notifications. No infinite scroll. Just a peaceful little world that sits quietly until you decide to update it.
34. You’ll meet kindred spirits.
People who find personal websites often do so intentionally. They’re curious, thoughtful, and usually pretty lovely. Great ingredients for real connection.
35. You can revisit and reflect.
Years later, reading your old posts can feel like a time machine. Your site becomes a living archive of your thoughts, dreams, and progress.
36. It makes you more mindful.
Without the instant gratification loop of likes and retweets, you might find yourself thinking more deeply about what you post and why.
37. It’s free of FOMO.
You’re not constantly seeing other people’s highlight reels and comparing your behind-the-scenes. Your site focuses on you, not everyone else.
38. You can go slow.
No need to keep up with trends or daily posts. Update when you feel like it. Take a break. Come back refreshed. Your site will still be there.
39. You can use your own domain.
Having yourname.com just feels cool, right? It’s like planting a flag in your own corner of the internet.
40. You don’t have to chase followers.
Instead of playing the growth game, you can focus on making cool stuff. The people who find you will be the ones who genuinely care.
41. It encourages intentionality.
Because updates aren’t instant, you’ll likely spend more time crafting your content. That care shows, and it makes your site feel special.
42. You can build your own tools.
Want a mood tracker? A mini wiki? A spell-crafting generator? You can code or embed whatever tools you dream up.
43. It’s surprisingly fun.
There’s joy in creating just for the sake of it. Tinkering with layout, colors, and content can feel like digital gardening.
44. You’re contributing to a better web.
Every personal website weakens the monopoly of Big Tech. You’re helping build a diverse, vibrant, human-centered internet.
45. It’s nostalgic in the best way.
Remember the early internet when people made fansites and blogs and shared links just because? That energy is still alive on the small web.
46. You can go offline anytime.
Want a break? Just stop updating. No pressure. No guilt. The web will wait.
47. You’ll have a creative outlet.
Even if you don’t consider yourself an “artist,” a website gives you a space to express and explore yourself.
48. It’s easier than ever.
You don’t need to be a tech wizard. Tools like WordPress, mmm.page, Straw.page or Carrd make it super beginner-friendly.
49. You can inspire others.
Your little corner of the internet might be exactly what someone else needed to see. You never know who you’ll touch.
50. Because you deserve a space that’s 100% you.
No ads. No algorithms. No noise. Just a place where you get to be yourself, unapologetically and fully. The internet needs more of that—and more of you.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So, Why Wait?
The internet doesn’t have to be a loud, crowded mall where everyone’s shouting for attention. It can be a quiet cabin in the woods, a secret garden, a tiny café glowing with string lights where you share your thoughts, dreams, art, and self with whoever wanders in.
Building your own personal website isn’t just about escaping the chaos of social media—it’s about coming home to a space that reflects you. Your humor, your quirks, your passions, your pace. It’s a chance to slow down and make something meaningful. Something that doesn’t ask you to perform, compete, or conform.
And here’s the beautiful part: you don’t need to be a tech wizard. You don’t need to have a niche or a “brand.” You just need to be curious, a little bit brave, and willing to make something for yourself. The rest? That comes with time—and it’s honestly kind of magical to watch it all unfold.
So go ahead. Plant your flag. Build your nest. Start small, dream big, and know that every pixel you place is a step toward reclaiming your presence online.
We’ll be here cheering you on, one cozy corner of the web at a time. 💻
When you're ready to get started, head over to the Resources page! There are tons of helpful links to help you start building your personal space on the web. ✨🌿 See you there!

Hello sleepy!!
Just wanted to pop in and say again I love your art- gosh it inspires me so much and I also wanted to ask something!
With your artworks, how big do you make your canvas, and what settings might you use (Dpi and stuff?) I personally use procreate, but I can't figure out what's the best size to allow me to have detail without it looking pixelated, and be able to upload to insta without it chopping it up :( I only just made my insta acc so I'm still learning there lol- Any tips and tricks?!
All my brushes end up looking so bad bc of it lol- Anyway, thank you!! Have a lovely day!! <3
Hello!! Thank you so much for the kind words! You flatter me fr 🥰
With canvas sizes, I usually go like this : I start with a small canvas first, like <1000 x <2000 with 144 dpi resolution. This small canvas is where I do sketching. Small canvas allows me to not worry about details too much (which will hinder the main purpose of sketching = general shapes, overall compositioning, and very loose lining)
After I'm satisfied, I'd convert that canvas into a bigger one, like >3000 x >4000 with 300 dpi resolution. I love linearting and detailing, so big canvas and big resolution like 300, 350, or 600 dpi is recommended. I don't know much about procreate, but if your drawing is pixelated, try using bigger resolution, not increasing the canvas size pixel.
For Instagram account, if you want to grow an audience, try inserting yourself inside a fandom space, where the audience already loves the material. Draw fanarts, characters doing things, characters in what settings, etc. After that, if you have an original work, you'd already have your own audience!
Instagram algorithm is an artist' worst enemy, so post as often as you can. A WIP on your IG story is fine. Make highlights. Make your IG feed your own gallery. A plain gallery won't invite a visitor, but a rich, full of color, and full of stories will interest the audience for the follow button. It won't be instant. So keep going!
---
Again, thank you so much, happy drawing, and have a lovely day/evening to you as well!

you know what I really believe that one of the reasons that people's opinions on the Israel palestine conflict is more pro palestine than ever is thanks to the low barriers of entry to information on the subject.
we all shit talk the internet for being rife with misinformation. the way the internet keeps us trapped in our own echo chambers and how algorithms just lead to confirmation bias(where we see on our fyps or our timelines or our google search resulta things that the algorithms think we want to see and so we keep seeing only that telling the algorithm to continue boosting that stuff).
and all that is true! but before you'd hear about Israel and palestine conflict and it would be a week on the news and that's it and you'd hear it's complicated by experts and that both parties feel strongly. and the psychological trick of that is that you end up feeling
this is complicated and requires expertise and nuance to discuss otherwise you'll offend someone. better trust what the experts on the news or what our government says
I'm not either of these parties and so if I open my uninformed mouth I could do more harm than good. and I don't want that better trust the story on the news
if I'm critical of israel I'm antisemitic and I'm a good nice person I don't want to be antisemitic
which israel is banking on people doing! and it's worked for so long it nearly worked now but several things happend here that made things different.
social media gives lowers the barrier of entry for dissemination of information. everyone has a phone and can show you wants happening
if you want to read up on the conflict you just need to look it up on your phone. no library card no nothing. and you can look at both sides of the story and judge for yourself. you aren't reliant on the president or mainstream news to pick and choose the sides of the story
now these things on their own aren't enough. in 2018 to 2019 where you had social media you had the internet people weren't looking up palestine israel conflict. why not? what changed? what's different?
in 2018 you had the great March of independence where every Friday people in Gaza would peacefully March to the walls and protest. and they would get shot at! civilians! and they come back next Friday every Friday for a year.
you probably hadn't heard of this. or of you had you heard about it recently while learning about the conflict after Oct. 7
and that's the thing that's different and that leads me to the most important point.
on October 7 hamas attacked and killed an unprecedented number of Israelis. and the usual tactic of the Israel/American media machine of telling you this is too complex and hoping you check out and don't bother researching didn't work.
why? well usually when israel airstikes gaza the media covers it for a day or two. one week max. and then you forget and we move on to the next breaking news and israel gets to continue bombing invading occupying unobserved and unobstructed. this time the media stayed on the story and at first most people where leaning pro israel. that's what the president and the celebrities and the reporters on the ground are saying. but because it stayed in the news long enough. because you'd open Instagram or tiktok and see the horrifying images coming out of gaza it planted a seed of doubt. and that lead people to look up the history and learn
israel is the agressor
the issue is not complicated its actually quite simple. you are not bad for taking a side and you can follow your gut instinct of genocide=bad
Israel lies all the time and they got caught in several lies in record time (their shireen abu akleh lie took months to be disproved)
Israel brags about the atrocities it commits and then fucking tweets it. they say in interviews Palestinians are animals.
like I've seen pro palestine protests and they've never had this many people. this much solidarity this much strength. they've never gone on for this long there's never been this much diversity.
colonial powers never last. they inevitably die off and we're going to witness the end of this one

Facebook Allegedly Detected When Teen Girls Deleted Selfies So It Could Serve Them Beauty Ads
"This is what puts money in all our pockets."
from the article:
You might have heard the famous maxim that "if something is free, you're the product." The freemium world of apps and social media have made it nearly indisputable, heralding a previously unimaginable tech panopticon known as "surveillance capitalism."
Surveillance capitalism came about when some crafty software engineers realized that advertisers were willing to pay bigtime for our personal data, which builds up as we surf the web. That data helps advertising corporations "understand their audience" and "deliver highly relevant content," and has expanded into a global data trade as more and more people spend more time online.
The data trade is how social media platforms like Google, YouTube, and TikTok make their bones. In 2022, the data industry raked in just north of $274 billion worth of revenue. By 2030, it's expected to explode to just under $700 billion.
And as the data trade expands, so too does the tech behind it. What were once chintzy if endearing tabloid-style popups — "Doctors hate him! See how he reversed his age with one weird trick" — have now become hyper-personalized ads crafted and delivered for very specific groups of users, a system called "social media targeting."
[...]
A recent tell-all book by former Facebook insider Sarah Wynn-Williams, titled "Careless People," is blowing the lid on the sheer depravity of the social media giant's targeting machine. Wynn-Williams worked at Facebook — which subsequently changed its name to Meta a few years back — from 2011 to 2017, eventually rising to the role of public policy director.
As early as 2017, Wynn-Williams writes, Facebook was exploring ways to expand its ad targeting abilities to thirteen-to-seventeen-year-olds across Facebook and Instagram — a decidedly vulnerable group, often in the throes of adolescent image and social crises.
Though Facebook's ad algorithms are notoriously opaque, in 2017 The Australian alleged that the company had crafted a pitch deck for advertisers bragging that it could exploit "moments of psychological vulnerability" in its users by targeting terms like "worthless," "insecure," "stressed," "defeated," "anxious," "stupid," "useless," and "like a failure."
The social media company likewise tracked when adolescent girls deleted selfies, "so it can serve a beauty ad to them at that moment," according to Wynn-Williams. Other examples of Facebook's ad lechery are said to include the targeting of young mothers based on their emotional state, as well as emotional indexes mapped to racial groups, like a "Hispanic and African American Feeling Fantastic Over-index."
"To me, this type of surveillance and monetization of young teens’ sense of worthlessness feels like a concrete step toward the dystopian future Facebook’s critics had long warned of," Wynn-Williams reflects.

The CFA Charter in the Age of Algorithms: Can Certification Outlast Clout?

Evidently, in the last few years, there has been a visible change in the entire financial landscape. The former traditional heroes of the investment banking industry, CFA charterholders, and certified analysts are now being challenged by a new group- the “finfluencers,” who have emerged rather more as a digital class than as an institution or a regulatory body. These are the social media-savvy financial influencers reshaping how young investors and aspiring finance professionals consume their financial educations via platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. The big question is can rigorous, structured qualifications like the CFA Charter withstand this wave of simplified, fast-paced content?
Finfluencers: Fast Fame, Greater Reach
Finfluencers are financial influencers, not necessarily with credentials and degrees. Most of them self-taught traders, people interested in personal finances, or early investors who share some tips, tricks, and general opinions on the market with others online. They cover things from stock market explainers to cryptocurrency predictions, budgeting hacks, and passive income strategies.
The allure is straightforward. Finfluencers cover complex finance concepts in widely understandable, digestible parcels that speak to the digitally born Gen Z and millennials. They do not use academic language but tap into everyday analogies and personal accounts to bring understanding. In this case, when such a message goes viral with high speed through social media algorithms, it provides them with unparalleled reach.
Is There A Trust-Gap?
Finfluencers, like with most other professions, could reach a wide audience lacking all the credentials and depth. In fact, misinformation among financial content creators is a major concern. In March 2024, swings of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) against unregistered investment advisers who misled their followers with false or exaggerated claims surged. A few finfluencers were fined or banned from offering investment advice without proper registration.
That is a glaring example of the growing trust deficit. The determinants include severe fines that barely catch the eye of talents on the online stock market. Finfluencers whose motivations tilt virality over responsibly, thus leaving virulent investment strategies or incomplete financial insights for public consumption; thus, unlike CFA Institute, which stands for a strong Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct, these influencers remain unaccountable.
CFA: The Gold Standard of Finance
The CFA Charter, therefore, stands tall in this very setting as a mark of trustworthiness, depth, and professionalism. The three levels of the CFA examination process test candidates on a wide range of subjects including equities, derivatives, ethics, portfolio management, and alternative investments. The process is not geared toward anything viral; it is designed to develop expertise over the long term.
CFA charterholders are not simply financial analysts; they are also often the decision-makers in asset management firms, hedge funds, and investment banking. Their pronouncements are data-supported, model-supported, and framework-supported.
How The CFA Charter is Adapting
Surprisingly, the CFA Institute is not ignorant to digital evolution. They have just launched new micro-credential programs an updated curriculum concentrating on the real world and fintech as a result of the increasing interest among young candidates. The latest modules include blockchain, decentralized finance (DeFi), and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) investing.
This is to say that values are updated to adapt and remain relevant without compromise to traditional ethics and analytical rigor. These movements are important to remain vibrant in a world loaded with information but as rare as real insight.
Location and Global Awareness
The overall growth of the financial influencer will find its acme in the rapidly developing financial markets. In India, where the digital tentacles are outspreading so fast, platforms such as YouTube and Instagram are becoming the most important conduits for financial literacy. Cities like Mumbai, India's financial capital, are experiencing a dual surge: a rise in fintech content creators alongside a rise in CFA aspirants.
The appetite for structured learning continues unabated. Increases in enrollments for courses like CFA course mumbai have been noted as finance students scramble for credibility in an age of omnipresent but often misleading online content.

Are Influencers and Analysts Able to Work Together?
Finfluencers and CFA professionals have the ability and potential to work together. Some charterholders have started to build their personal brands via LinkedIn and YouTube, a blend of credibility yet relatability. They use digital tools to help facilitate an understanding of finance while maintaining professionalism. This voice is desperately needed!
With enough regulations, cooperation, and transparency in disclosures, these finfluencers can move towards becoming aware educators. Charterholders with a CFA can escape the insular space of the boardrooms and reach the general population. Merging entertainment and expertise is the golden intersection.
Effect of Regulation and AI
The roles of both finfluencers and analysts are poised for change as AI tools like ChatGPT, portfolio optimization bots, and sentiment analysis engines become entrenched. While content creation is becoming easier, verifying the quality has become harder. Across the world, regulatory scrutiny is increasing on financial content posted on social media, which has led platforms to introduce disclaimers and to flag or, in some cases, discontinue specific hashtags regarding investment tips.
This new way signals more demand for verified professional advice. Everybody will keep searching on social media for financial education, but for those decisions that truly matter, CFA qualifications do provide some level of protection.
Conclusion: Coexistence Through Evolution
The arrival of finfluencers has brought a certain democratization to finance. Labels such as investing, saving, and creating wealth are on more lips than ever. However, with that democratization comes responsibility: with volatile markets and complex products, something like the CFA Charter provides a safety net-an anchor in the sea of fast-moving and oftentimes, untested advice.
What is ironically true for cities like Mumbai, where the wave of financial content promotes the 'fast', holds just as much for the 'slow'. The well-trodden paths remain a strong second option. CFA Training Program in Mumbai continues to attract serious-minded candidates who value substantive knowledge, ethical standards, and career credibility.
A balance between virality and tangible value will, in the long run, favor whoever can harness both sets of skills. Whoever merges insight and clout will thrive in the next ten years—finfluencers, CFA candidates, or whichever other designation may come by. That's a journey already worthy of pursuit!

On the Mundane and the Sacred (long)
Why all these circles, candles, and other ritualistic bling? Mostly, so we don’t fly off the mental rails in their absence. Why are some objects so deeply defining?
Well, the phenomenon of sacralization—investing an object with special, sacred meaning—has been with us since the days of King Pea Soup. Sure, candles are obvious enough, but then there are things like bread, snack food, matches, lighters, lipstick—none of which scream “divine relic,” right?
But here’s the thing: we do a little “two-step and clap” and suddenly something’s sacred. So what? If you use it once a year, that’s just a ritual fetish. But if it’s part of daily praxis? Then it’s no joke. And still—it’s all about those ritual moves. To squeeze even a drop of sacredness out of yourself, you better have a divine visa, or at least a counterfeit holy license.
A Sprinkle of Methods
Some folks call on dubious but potent consonants from Hebrew names of God. There are endless debates—how to pronounce them, how many fingers to use when drawing them, and which shades to color in your mystical Photoshop. The trick is not to spiral into psychonaut cosplay. Just keep chewing through the books until your brain goes click.
Others—your garden-variety Wiccans—opt for a pantheon buffet. As my unforgettable Pisces friend used to say, “Diana, Astarte, Hecate, Ishtar, Selene, Kali, Bitch!” That’s the whole Sharikov principle of “collect everything and split it evenly.” Does it work? Sure. The overload of imagery turns your mental altar into a divine flash mob at your witchy birthday party.
The circle, no matter how you draw it, maps the mechanical forces of existence. Without it, your myth collapses before it even lifts off. You can juggle these operands like a clown with balloons, but one dominant thread will emerge—the thing that itches your brain like a spiritual rash. That’s sacred space. Don’t ignore it.
There are also simpler and more universal algorithms: purification and consecration. Surprise! These look eerily similar across traditions. But don’t forget the zeroth step—meditation, or tuning in. Because in this age, most people can’t even sit still without visualizing fifteen TikToks and a mental breakdown. I’ve been there.
And any object, once consecrated for a specific purpose, becomes sacred—even by modern standards. Take Witch Masha. She read in 26 books that patchouli oil and a green candle equal cash. So that’s her go-to combo for money magic. No need to summon gnomes, call Lu Hai, or recite Psalm 4. It just is. She’ll pay her bills, then Google “patchouli Saturn,” and her neurons might fire—maybe. Depends on her mindset. Maybe she’ll realize that for her, Saturn money means paying the gas bill. Or maybe it means Grandpa, who pays it for her. Especially if she read in Book 17 that “Saturn = old people.” Nevermind.
So, consecration is like adding an item to your personal sacred folder. And how you use that item? That deepens it. Where, under what conditions, with what mental associations? If the practitioner’s spiritually blind, deaf, and dumb, it might take years to make that link—maybe longer.
The Holiness of a Cocktail
Sanctity is the antithesis of mundanity in a healthy practice. Why do you think it’s not in your smoothie or your cocktail? Of course it is—especially if it’s photographed, Instagrammed, and subtitled with some cryptic caption for the impressionable “congregation.” Boom—you’ve just performed sacramental mixology. That’s how instawitches work. You’ve heard “my posts get no likes, I must be trash”? That’s basically Hierophant energy with a flyswatter.
There are other tools too. But the main thing is: declare something sacred in your space. Disagreement doesn’t matter—agreement does. Master-level? Consecrate it so subtly no one notices—but everyone uses it. “Diana, Astarte, Bitch.” That last figure? Critical in the fine art of feminine magic. She loved, and she gave. A good priest does the same—offers everything, except his need to keep making love to reality.
Magic = Understanding
Magic differs from mere raw conjure in one thing—understanding. That’s all that remains at the end of the road. Everything else dissolves into bubbling cocktails, dancing, cauldrons, fill in the blank. And if your ritual makes sense to you, and you’ve defeated the boredom monster—go forth and make magical love until you reach the clarity you crave.
Sacred objects, postures, and symbols exist to make your intercourse with reality... protected. Or just take the pill. 'Cause let’s be real: it’s all horsecrap unless it’s lived and felt and planted deep in the soil of your personal myth.
The Daily Ritual
Eventually, you’ll get tired of the Lesser Ritual of the Pentagram. The angels will stop visiting in your dreams. One night, even the full moon will seem dull. And then, the real altar is in the kitchen. Or in the boudoir. Or maybe it’s your lover’s bed (which has always been sacred, but we often forget).
In that moment, ask yourself: what do I do every day? What makes a day feel like a day, a night feel like a night? Maybe it’s your bedtime tea. Maybe a Friday night shot. Maybe it’s shaving your legs on Tuesdays. Or that mysterious solo ritual on the 13th of every month.
The point is—why did this ritualistic little monster sneak into your Eden in the first place? If it has a purpose, dig down to the root of it. At the bottom of that well lies your pearl. Your truth. Your secret dominion over the world you build, step by step—through work, through love, through whatever lifestyle you choose to preach.
That world you build? It has a shadow. And that shadow is the ritual. And if you grasp that connection, you’re already one step closer to your sacred self—your personal halo, your private pantheon. That one chipped tea bowl, that coffee blend, that sheet color—can be the key to your magical armory.
Because sacredness lives in relationship. And like post-industrial children, we have to strip it from the crust of spiritual landfill. Yes, you can drown in books, grimoire hoarding, surround yourself with shiny crap—and never see your pearl.
Or you can take the pill. Or three. They won’t hurt.
As for me? I’m off to sip some tea. I wish you depth—in the simplest things.

📱5 Social Media Tricks That Still Work in 2025 (And 3 That Don't)
Social media trends come and go, but some tactics keep delivering—even as platforms shift. Here's a quick breakdown of what still works in 2025 (and what's played out).
✅ Still Works
1️⃣ Native Content is King
Each platform favors content posted directly—not links or screenshots from elsewhere. Native video, text posts, and in-app engagement = reach.
🔗 Pro tip: Post natively, then boost via stories or DMs if needed.
2️⃣ Short-Form Video = Massive Reach
Reels, Shorts, TikToks—short video is still crushing. The key in 2025? Make the first 2 seconds count.
🎥 Use quick cuts, motion text, and hook-based captions.
3️⃣ Micro-Engagement > Mass Broadcasting
Replying to comments, resharing UGC, and reacting to DMs builds community—and the algorithm loves it.
🤝 Be present, not just scheduled.
4️⃣ Personality-Driven Pages
Whether you're a brand or freelancer, people want people. Founders, creators, marketers—be visible, be relatable.
📌 Use storytelling > hard selling.
5️⃣ Cross-Posting Smartly
Repurpose content across platforms but adapt the format. What works on LinkedIn might flop on Instagram unless it's reshaped.
🎯 Efficiency + platform fluency = win.
❌ No Longer Working (or Hurting You)
🚫 Hashtag Spam
Using 30 hashtags in the caption? It doesn't help in 2025—and may lower your reach. Keep it niche and relevant.
🚫 Buying Followers or Engagement
Algorithms are more intelligent—fake metrics = ghost town posts. Platforms are now de-prioritizing accounts with shady engagement patterns.
🚫 Overdesigning Every Post
Overly polished graphics scream ad. Raw, accurate content performs better—especially for Gen Z and young audiences.
💬 Final Thought:
In 2025, social media is still about value, vibe, and visibility. Be consistent, be human, and continually optimize for platform-native behaviour.
