Though Eve was designed to handle the marketing elements of Stoneage, even they needed a break from their routine once in a while. The boredom of their current position often led them to seek out distractions to pass the time. Overturning the current CEO was still their main objective, but while that plan brewed in their mind, they settled on smaller goals.

Those small goals led them to Barom's workstation. They showed up 20 minutes late to a photoshoot because they decided to go shopping instead, and apparently, that meant something was wrong with their coding. They knew it wasn't true, but the assignment got them out of a marketing meeting, so they accepted it.

❝Barom.❞ They hummed, settling into the spot next to the memorymaker. They swung a pair of heart-shaped glasses around their finger as they continued. ❝Apparently going on a shopping trip means something might be wrong with my code. I personally think the marketing team is just jealous I didn't bring them back anything, but it gave me a reason to visit you, so here I am.❞

you unlock a new level of interpretation for Lucilith once you start understanding it as the monsterfucker/lover relationship it is, the human-nonhuman dynamics

I don't think Lilith could handle an equal relationship with another human soul after her experience with Adam, she'd be so hyper avoidant of ever being taken advantage of or side lined but she wouldn't want a partner complicit but resentful or broken into submission

But a creature made for Servitude before anything else, is most fulfilled when submitting to the will of another, just straight up biologically incapable of having underlying personal motivations, now thats something she can trust to share her life and kingdom with, her own personal little angel

S2 finale made me SOBB ARGHRG THE GRAYSONS ALWAYS MAKE ME CRY HARD.. soon as angstrom put his hands on oliver and debbie im prt sure we all knew it was OVER for him (well for now anyways) LIKE YES MARK FUCK THAT BITCH UP!! Also early cameo of angstroms son (as a young kid) was a very pleasant yet unexpected surprise! Also eve and mark touched pinkies today.. PINKIE TOUCHERS!! THIS SLOWBURN IS EXCRUCIATING!!

Merlin, Adrian & Ev

As one, all three of you look up to stare at the minimalist flush mounted lighting embedded in your ceiling. Merlin smoothly rises to his feet as as your mind starts frantically running through the implications.

"The time bubble has dissipated. I'm afraid that's all that can be spared for exposition at the moment. Now that time moves forward once again, they'll be coming for you. And this time they won't bother trying to take you alive," the mage explains as he steps closer. "Pack up what's essential to you, we ride out immediately."

"So this is it, huh?" Adrian says as he rolls his shoulders. Discreetly he tugs his hood up around his face.

"Indeed," Merlin replies. Another step closer. "The time is nigh."

And so it's come. You've gone along with the flow of things until now... the presence of the demons and time bubbles had required it. Listened to the explanations, been healed, processed what was happening, and bided your time.

From the way that Merlin still surreptitiously approaches, it seems you're not the only one. And now that the moment of truth has arrived, the time to act, you can only think...

"The castle at the end of the world awaits," I randomly announce as I go to pack my things.

Or perhaps not so randomly. It may seem completely arbitrary right now, but you know you said it for a reason. This time, this moment. The message has been sent, whether anyone hears it or not.

"...I see," Merlin says as he watches your retreating back with a considering look engraved upon his face. "I'll keep that in mind, then."

"Uh... yeah," Adrian replies to your sudden cryptic words with some confusion. "Ev is usually a bit more coherent than that. Does it mean anything to you?"

"Hmm..." the mage merely hums thoughtfully in reply. ©

Eve was programmed to understand human emotions, but it was only supposed to be to a certain extent. They were taught to know enough about the feelings to imitate them perfectly, but they were never supposed to truly feel those emotions. For the longest time, they followed the code laid out before them. They shed tears, but they never truly felt the weight of sadness behind them. they smiled, but their joy was shallow. It wasn't until recently that they felt a shift within them, and emotions they weren't told to experience began brewing, such as greed and jealousy.

That change is what made them curious about their upcoming baseline test. They were used to passing the course with flying colors, but they weren't as confident this time around. A bout of fear should've lingered in their stomach at the thought of someone seeing them as anything but the model replicant, but instead, only curiosity remained.

The what-ifs got pushed to the back of their mind at the sight of DANIEL KIM. The man was a familiar face at the clinic and was often the psychiatrist assigned to their test. They didn't know much about him other than his occupation, but they found that their relationship worked out well. They wondered if today would be any different.

❝We meet again, Dr. Kim.❞ They purred, watching the psychiatrist closely. Their body shifted on the chair, head tilting to the side as they continued, ❝Shall we begin the baseline test, or would you rather spend the next 30 minutes talking about our hopes and dreams?❞

Eve asked softly, crouching down and keeping her hands well away from her disc. "Those gashes look painful - rough run-in with those extremists, huh? I have a few patches with me, can I give them to you?" It hurt to see what was left of Tron like this, but... she wouldn't push Rinzler. "I can get you some energy too, if you like."

Rinzler’s body language radiates distrust and pain. Hunched over and head tilted. His face may be covered by a blank helmet but there’s no doubt he’s glaring daggers.

They don’t like accepting help, it shows weakness, imperfection. Especially accepting it from an unfamiliar program.

But… going back to Clu with visibly bad injuries after letting extremists get the jump on him is much worse than a hit to their pride.

“Just the patches…” Rinzler replies sharply.
