The thing I love the most about this picture is that I was a passenger in my car and traffic was scooting along and I was bummed that this shot was going to be streaky. Suddenly, traffic slowed to a crawl right between the girders on the bridge and I only needed to stretch high enough to get above the lower rails. My daughter and I were riding in my sons car to BC Canada where he attended University so we could drive back his old car. It was pretty snowy for much of the drive and then foggy or cloudy, but cleared before the bridge. It was a quick trip, but a great Christmas blessing to be with both of my oldest kids on a road trip. All I want this Christmas is for you and 1 million of your friends to buy my photos on my @smugmug site (useful link below), or I guess coffee and chocolate is ok . . . Always on the run 🏃‍♀️ . The season of long drives and road trips, endless conversations, getaways turned holidays (who got that reference?) and moments for cultivating those loving + genuine friendships and relationships. These are the things that (at least for me) inspire and propel our best selves forward! It’s been a long month (congrats to surviving #cancerseason lol) and I’ve been absorbing, learning and loving a whole lot more. As I strongly believe in chasing growth, clarity and a greater sense of self (because it all starts WITHIN, as your outer reality reflects your inner reality!!) having the freedom and flexibility to leave the bubble of LA, gain a little more, invest in yourself a little more, and return a more productive and inspired version of yourself is SO important. We need to be right in the head and the heart and bring that love to ourselves, too! Dec ‘19. Who would expect actual heavy snows right outside of Los Angeles ?
