This originally started out with me just wanting to draw Beanie interacting with the Intertwined Codes Kids but then I added some extra stuff lol.

If you're a reader of Intertwined Codes, this kinda sorta spoils future stuff bc only the twins have been mentioned in the Draft/Teaser fic but oh well. You have been warned.

IC!Uzi wouldn't like actually meet GD!N bc they'd kinda decide that "hey, let's not have the widowed man see an alternate version of his wife that actually got live." simply out of respect kinda?? So she would stick around at home with the kids whilst IC!N goes out to look for Beanies Dad after their kids drag her to them lmao.

So yeah she doesn't necessarily know the extent of the mans depression, the kids just mentioned there only being a dad so she just specifically asks about GD!N in this doodle

IC!N would quickly pick up on GD!N not being completely okay, even without being told any details. So he probably would end up sitting him down to talk on their way back to the IC!Doorman families place, wanting to help if he can in any way. (He runs a Daycare and tries to also be a support to any parent that needs it, so I feel he out of habit would lean into trying to do that with GD!N)

I will go over each of these one by one (can'tdo close ups bc 10 image limit, I'll reblog this in a second with the close ups.)

Zagi:

Not much to say, I'm still working out their personality - they're maybe 2-3 years older than Beanie, so they aren't too far apart in age. :)

Orita:

She's the sibling who started the trend of putting stickers on her siblings, so she DEFINITELY would do the same with Beanie.

She also probably originally was going to show her how to build a weapon, but her parents promptly stopped that lmao .

She would think it's really cool that Beanie has a custom core icon & in general is completely customized from the start! She herself was originally put into a regular worker body (just with the tail and headband being custom made by her mom), she had to build the DD forearms herself. She also has a sticker of the DD icon on her core, covering the WD icon :3

Rexim:

At this point he has enough siblings to be past the "ew a little kid" phase, so luckily Beanie gets spared that. His main camera is damaged, he only really uses his headband optics to look around, so he would kinda just look as if he's staring past her a lot. But bc of the obvious cracks in his visor I feel she would pick up on the fact he's not actually ignoring her.

Also he definitely would just play music to her, because IC!Uzi kinda always has music on whilst working in her workspace he kinda picked up some of her taste in music (Hence he's playing the same song that Uzi is shown to have been listening to in Ep7)

Raven:

First up THANK YOU Zeisty for helping me brainstorm silly stuff for them. They're a little ball of chaos now and I love them.

Anyways.

They would join Orita in bedazzling Beanie, and then they'd start talking about bird facts and also try to get Beanie to talk about her interests.

(Their height difference isnt 100% accurate bc halfway through drawing this I changed the IC timeline, making Raven about the same age as Zagi instead of them being a teen, so I kinda had to manually try and semi-fit their heights lol)

Adopted Kids

Ray:

Nothing to say. He's a baby. Tho whilst I was outlining this one I had to giggle because of how big he is in Beanies hands. She's so tiny 😭💕 /affectionate

Annika:

Oh boy. Ann.

Annika is the eldest kid & was adopted a while before Zagi was coded / whilst the parents were organizing the code copies for Zagi

She does NOT know how to talk to other kids. Never did. It made her stick out at the orphanage wing because she just avoided everyone. And it is very chaotic when Olivia and Ray first show up, because Ann's only idea of talking to other Drones is "well you got to be relatable" so she brings up the siblings dead parents bc like, her code parents are dead too. Both pairs dying to DDs. So yeah she probably would be the first, if not only one, in the whole household to just bring up GD!Uzi. She would do it like it's nothing either.

IC!Uzi would promptly get her to stop and sit her down having a conversation about "what did N and I say about trying to connect on that topic?"

Like IC!Uzi would actually feel really bad about it despite Beanie not knowing her mom. Bc she herself obviously didn't remember IC!Nori growing up but still didn't like the topic.

Olivia:

Olivia, as I said, was greeted with the topic of dead parents by Annika as well. So she probably would kinda interfere when IC!Uzi goes to sit Ann down to talk.

She would feel the need to apologize for the older girls behavior (which Ann would apologize for herself later too ofc) and would try to get Beanie to go play something together whilst IC!Uzi sorts that whole situation out.

She's also the closest to Beanies age probably, just was forced to mature bc of what happened to her parents, despite being taken in by Nuzi shortly after. She still obviously acts like a kid tho when comfortable, so I feel she would kinda ease up around Beanie and actually act more like a 4-5 year old around her.

Bonus? Bonus!

Needless to say Beanie would return home covered in stickers & hairpins (Orita & Raven have more than enough of those, they'd just let Beanie keep some)

RIP GD!N having to get her out of those stickers once they're back home

Also, for the "*humming*" variation of the picture I blame @k1k0oftheworld. Kiko was in vc with me when I was talking about how Beanie would be covered in stickers when she gets home, and saw the doodles as well.

He proposed the following scenario after seeing Rexim show Beanie IC!Uzis playlist:

Beanie humming dead batteries song & GD!N having a breakdown bc it reminds him of GD!Uzi

(I scrapped the idea of him not knowing ab the IC!Doorman family and him getting a mini heart attack when Beanie goes "I met Mom today" in favor of him and IC!N meeting & talking - I WANTED TO SPARE HIS POOR HEART)

HERE'S THE THING THO, kitsune!suguru was never going to be lured in by their singing alone to begin with, since he's a kitsune, basically a siren on land. But he was very much captivated.

Going on land is safe for you (reader is able to shapeshift and have legs, no evil octopus witch needed, you get to keep your voice hooray!!!!!) He doesn't want to hurt you and you're not an easy target either. So yes, you will eventually have to join him in his territory to gain his trust + at some point it turns into a game of who can seduce the other first lmaoo (except you want to eat him and he wants to marry you)

It’s funny to me that the writers of fallout most definitely intended for the audience to attach father daughter vibes to Lucy and Cooper, but have seemingly ended up with most ppl shipping them

I blame the fact that they did not make Lucy an actual child and instead introduced us to her with her shameless and enthusiastic interest in sex

Her first character trait you gave us is that she’s bored and lonely

The dad stuff is new. The “my dad is missing” is not an intrinsic aspect of her history, it’s an entirely new plot point that she’s honestly not approaching with any real sense of terror.

Her first real human thing were shown is that she’s ACHING to be married, to find her person, to connect and build a life.

COOPER has built in family trauma issues. His first scene is LITTERED with family complexes. We’re left wondering if his daughter made it.

Lucy? Lucy watched her dad get kidnapped and then happy go luckied her way on a search and rescue mission. She fully expected for that to be successful, and then resume her mission to find a partner for life. Her first trauma wasn’t even him getting ‘napped. It was her husband betraying her and attempting to kill her.

The other meaningful story she has is another romance. She’s not exactly trudging through her narrative with this bleak “give me my father” outlook. Again, that’s cooper.

Her whole arc is becoming the honourable sheriff that Cooper gave up being. She’s literally WEARING HIS COLOURS.

Like. There was no chance in hell that when that lost to the darkness outlaw encountered a flash from the past do gooder and paused his murder spree to take her in, with humour, not aching loss, that anyone was gonna do anything but ship them.

I love a good father daughter thing - I adore them. This? This is so not that.

misc lore drop day 29/?

I vaguely mentioned in one of my recent posts about how vettonso being annoying to each other is somehow more bearable for everyone rather than them outright hating each other. Which is interesting. Theoretically wouldn’t them avoiding each other be easier than the constant provocation? Wouldn’t it be easier if they treated it as a cut and dried political, arranged marriage? Just a union for political gain. I mean, love isn’t necessary for a marriage, right? Wrong! Well, in this case specifically. Again, they argue for sport, they’re practically bound by fate to eternally annoy each other, it’s basically just antagonistic flirting. A lack of enrichment in this way would be fine if they weren’t married, and were just very distant adversaries and later acquaintances. HOWEVER the point of this AU is literally forced proximity. There’s not much of a point to it if they’re not forced together. I think that being forced together into a union, a palace, etc, feels even more forced if they outright avoid each other. It would mean they’re trapped in this situation but trying to live in a delusional fantasy where they’re not in fact trapped, thus leading to even more resentment building up.Their constant goading of each other serves more than one purpose. Yes, it’s something they bond over, but it also effectively allows them to get their annoyances with each other out without causing a fully fledged fight. It chips away at their hatred and frustration, not allowing it to stagnate or build. So, yes, it is better in the long run for them to not avoid each other.

Those around them have learned that those two avoiding each other just means all their energy is building up to becoming a full on, genuine fight. This is learned after one of them goes on a long trip and doesn’t visit the other for a few days after they get back. They absolutely EXPLODE at each other. “Oh wow you think you’re too uppity to say hello?” “Oh you can’t stand to be without me for a couple days?” “You’re so full of yourself!” “You’re so needy!!” etc etc. Then proceed to avoid each other for more days, leading to worse and worse arguments. It’s a really tough cycle to get out of because they’re never going to, god forbid, express their actual feelings and upset to the other person. Don’t worry, they’ll solve it in the marital bed, and stay locked in their chambers together for a few days to sort everything out. This kind of spat is fun for nobody, even them. Yes, it eventually concludes happily with some level of satisfaction, but even after they resolve their problems, all of the genuine anger built up in the constant arguments doesn’t really go away, it just lurks underneath. They weren’t fun playful spats over nothing, it was genuine anger that had been building up and was allowed to progress. 

After too many occurrences of these terrible rows, even they realize they need to find a way to prevent this from happening in the future. Even if they resolve to stay in close quarters, for the most part, when they’re together, they do still have to be apart. I mean, they literally rule different kingdoms. I said in an earlier post that they send each other letters while they’re apart. This is a decision that comes on the heels of too many absolutely terrible reunions. Their aides encourage them(read: egg them on) to send letters to each other and update them about various things. They do sometimes send fond messages, but a lot of them are little, petty things. Though look, they’re staying in contact AND keeping the resentment at bay. Great success. Though to be clear, they definitely do roleplay being angry with each other like the early days-

Zagi & Raven

They are like a day apart in age. They didn't know about Ravens existence until the day their programming finished developing, meanwhile Zagi was built and programmed using the regular canonverse USB method.

They're both about 5 years old :3

Annika

They technically knew her since she was a young kid but didn't adopt her until her pre teens. I haven't really made a younger design for her bc it wouldn't be much different aside from her joint count lol.

She's like 16-17 here (yes she's older than the twins!)

I might redesign her bc I feel her fit is too basic and doesn't reflect her age properly :" but I absolutely HATE my current attempt at it so we sticking with it

Olivia & Ray

And last but not least, the newest family addition (despite coming up with Raven after them, these two were adopted after Raven and Zagi booted up!)

Olivia is a similar age to Raven & Zagi, maybe a few months younger. But she tries to act more mature than them most of the time (trauma response).

Not much to say about Ray. That's a baby. Idk if I'll ever give him a body design. If I do then probably alongside doing a redesign for Annika!

Timeline of Events

Between Ep 4 & 5; The twins programs develop and are put into their pill baby bodies

Ep 5; Technically when the incident that causes Ravens program to develop happens, but Ravens program does NOT develop yet

Post-Canon;

The twins get their first bodies, after a good while Nuzi discuss adoption & start bonding with a still young child Annika to build trust.

Rexim is established to be unable to balance on worker legs so Uzi builds him legs based on Ns to give him more surface to balance on

Annika is adopted around the same time Zagi is being built (making Ann like 11-13 then). The twins get their teen bodies. Ravens program starts developing

Orita builds herself DD arms, Rexims main camera breaks

Zagi is finished, they find out about Ravens System. They still kept both twins pill shells so they upload Raven to the second one.

Zagi & Raven get their bodies.

Nuzi are on a mission to do some stuff with Outpost 06, only to run into Olivia and Ray who are being attacked by a different DD team. They intervene and whilst the other DDs give N an ear full for "crossing territory" Uzi gets the kids away and to safety. Later N reunites with them and they find out what happened to the kids parents and to outpost 06.

They take them back to outpost 03 to keep them safe, the orphanage wing is basically too full so the siblings kinda get shuffled around between Nuzi, Khan & Thad (Olivia is terrified of N and some of the other Nuzi kids so it's a mess)

Ray gets attached to Nuzi, its unhealthy for a baby to be separated from attached adults & he already lost his code parents. So now the siblings kinda just have to stick with Nuzi. (Accidental adoption lol)

I have so many thoughts about this part of the book but they're hard for me to articulate right now. It made me feel love and grief and loss and it made me sob with my head in my hands.
