I’m on chapter 136 and haven’t stopped crying since chapter 7, guys. This is like one of the few wholesome manga I enjoy and it’s so far out of my usual interests but it’s about dogs, man.

Inubaka Community/Japanese Translators please help! As an American (and unfortunetly new) fan of the manga, I don’t have access to english version of the last volumes. As I would like to read them my self(and not just be told the ending), this is where you come in. If you have access to volumes 18-22 and would be willing to scan and translate them to english, I would really appreciate it. Please reply to this post if you can help in any way. Thank you!

2007 Manga Reviews

So I’ve been trying to dig up old information on what year the first con I attended was and while I haven’t been able to solve that query, I did instead find a list of baby reviews I did back in 2007. I’d like to archive them here for prosperity. Word of warning, I was very young back then and I had no idea what I was saying. For example, I insinuated that being gay was a Japanese fangirl thing which is ludicrous. Also, inserting random Japanese into everything I say. Either way, I don’t condone what I said or even some of the manga I mentioned by any means; I’ve grown as a person. 

To the 2007 Reviews: 

ShinKuro: Or Gentlemen's Alliance Cross for those that aren't familar with it...Ok so I love this series and its awesome bottom line~ 1-3 are out currently, its one of those stories you gotta read over at least 4 times before you understand the plot, or maybe i have a focus problems who knows, all i know is you need to go out and read this, its got everything yo! Straight, yuri, yaoi...idk I'm not much of a gay fangirl, but hey ya gotta cover japanese basics~ Inubaka: Alrighty this one has 1-4 out, It's so cute the manga-ka really made use of her skills of drawing dogs~ You read it and your kinda like hmm Inuknowledge....and as you get one you begin to notice....OMA its got a hentai feel, yes folks the characters go hentai stylz~ School Rumble: Can I say it....THIS SERIES IS AWESOME...maybe its my love for crazy high school mangas (key= Ouran) but its so funny...first time I read it I had a bit trouble cause there is a TON of characters but after reading it a couple times you understand~ OH btw not really part of the manga description but I love Harima+Eri-chan such a cute couple, the heroine Tenma is ok, but shes so stuck on kurasuma that she just cant interpret anything else... (volumes 1-6) Mugen Spiral: All i have to say is this, WHY OH WHY DID YOU END!!!!!!! NOOOOOO THERE NEEDS TO BE MORE, TO GOOD A SERIES TO JUST DIE!!! YOU WERE LIKE AN AWESOME BASTARD CHILD OF INUYASHA AND BLEACH NOOOOOO!!!!!! (volumes 1 and 2) Shakugan No Shana: OMA CAN I EXPRESS ANYMORE LOVE FOR THIS!!! The adorable style the manga-ka uses is like my favorite ever!!! It's the first time I've ever seen an entire manga in that style squeee...the plot is so confusing though, i've read it like 5 times over and i still dont get everything~ but its to good so no matter the 2nd should be out soon Metamo Kiss: Ah its ok...not being in the favs of my manga repitoire(spelled wrong) but still...I read it....it's on 1 and 2 currently....the plots alittle choppy...and it gives the feel that the manga-ka doesn't have their head completely wrapped around whats gonna happen....but I love Body Switching so it makes up for it in my eyes... Absolute Boyfriend: Let's see my first shoujo I picked up~ I won't let it die...I really like it...humaniod robots yeah~ heehee so cute! It's a really good manga overall! Kedamono Damono: I still have trouble typing that title >< It just doesn't stick in my head well....I usually refer to it as kedamo so yeah....1 and 2 are currently out (like a lot ive noticed) not sure when the 3rd is due....plots a bit choppy...but its begining to get alot better....what can i say....I LOVE GENBEND! I have alot of odd manga fetishes....oh warning too...its got insane yuri and straight content~ He Is My Master: One word to cover everything that needs to be said about this-- LOVE -- insane amounts of love!!!!!! Just got reminded of the ending to yakitate Japan! man that series really went of the rails after the delicious bread induced time travel that reunited the announcer with his birth parents the king and queen of the nation the competition was being held in. Also the king had a lion head for reasons left unexplained

God damn it, Yakitate Japan...

It's so weird being reminded of that series since, one, it was one of those good manga that no one in my anime circles talked about (same thing with Inubaka: Crazy for Dogs), and two just how insane the choices they made for a series about bread.

I know you all are super busy and I just want to thank you for all the effort you’re putting in. Especially during this pandemic (with work, online/in person school, etc) - My question is, if it’s possible, am I able to request a translation of the series “InuBaka: crazy for dogs?” by Yukiya Sakuragi? The series translation was canceled at volume 17, but there are 22 volumes in total. I just desire to know how it ends 😭

I added it to the request list I have. It depends on a few things whether we will work on it or not. I will take a look at it though. But no promises for now.

Tag 10 People You Want to Get to Know Better I was tagged by the lovely @jayspants on my other blog but I though this blog was a better place to answer it! Favourite anime/manga: Naruto Whooo boy. If it can hold my attention for longer than the first few episodes then I like it. I mean I've seen all the ones everyone watches when they're 13, but I'm kinda hard to please when it comes to what I'm watching. I guess I liked MÄR a lot but that was never too popular besides the first season on adult swim but man, do I LOVE NARUTO. I've loved naruto since I was 11. I'm going to be 21 here, so that's about half my life. I love that scrappy blonde doof and I love his terrible trash son. I love them. Curse Kishimoto and his plot holes and terrible writing, but I'm still a die hard fan. Favourite Manga: I really, REALLY liked Inubaka. I like animals, so it's really not a surprise? Inubaka is about a girl who moves to the city with her mutt Lupin, and ends up working at a pet store after her dog breeds the owners dog by accident. After that they do all kinds of crazy dog things and encourage good pet ownership. Ive kinda lost touch with the series in the last couple years. I also liked Loveless a lot before I kinda... understood. I'm not in to lolicon. I also own almost all of fruits basket. Favourite Anime: Sooo I almost can't watch anything popular. The fandoms make me sick before I even get a chance to get in to them, in fact I'd start and not be able to finish. I didn't finish Welcome to the NHK, Soul Eater, and I never even got to start Yuri On Ice. I did finish Tokyo Ghoul though, and I liked Beyond the Boundary and Kill La Kill, but I haven't finished those yet. I'm not too good at binge watching things because I have a hard time paying attention. Because I already talked about Naruto, I'll say my favorite anime is Free! Iwatobi Swim Club. Though, for years I was absolutely crazy about Ginga. I love the anime dogs and their murderous ways. I also... really liked Ocha Ken. Which is a really, really cute little Japanese children's show about dogs made out of tea leaves. Favourite video games: MAN DO I LOVE ME SOME ANIMAL CROSSING. I've got all the titles and everything. I've got my fc listed on my header here and I'd love to play with you guys!! I also really like Harvest moon, though since the companies split I suppose it's called Story of seasons now. I have a sickening amount of money sunk in to the series. I liked Ocarina of time too and I still love Pokemon! Favourite TV shows: I really like cheesy paranormal shows. That's my go to. But I also used to watch Scream Queens religiously before it was canceled. I've also LOVE LetterKenny. If you are looking to laugh so hard you snort that's letterkenny. Those are my extent of real adult tv shows tho. I love cartoons!! My top faves are Steven Universe, Adventure Time, Star Vs The Forces Of Evil, My Little Pony, and retro 90s stuff. Last song I listened to: Oh boy I was at a 4 day horse shows and jfc did I listen to me some hillbilly music. I'm super sick and I actually can't remember what was on the radio last.
