I was thinking someone younger than Kazui, a guy who is openly gay since he was raised in more open minded times. How would Kazui deal with his attraction? Would seeing someone so comfortable with their own sexuality make him open up a bit or would he feel even more ashamed? (Feel free to make this as angsty or fluffy as you like)

♪ summary: when a liar like kazui meets an honest man like you, of course he is going to have a lot of things to think about even though he'd rather not think about them at all. he doesn't know how to feel about you. it's like a strange mix of respect, attraction and jealousy and he's not sure if he can handle it.

♪ warnings: themes of internalized homophobia, the ending is ambiguous on purpose, it's mentioned that kazui is interested in the reader, but how the reader character feels about him is up to interpretation.

♪ kazui enjoys your company, that's for sure. your way of thinking is new to him and there's so much he doesn't understand about you yet, but it doesn't mean he finds it annoying. it's actually kind of fun in a way. there's just something about the way your eyes shine, about the way you talk about the things you like, you have this energy that makes people want to talk to you more, kazui wouldn't be surprised if it turned out you were quite a popular guy before you arrived here.

♪ but it's also kind of.. sad. you have such a positive outlook on life, you accept everyone and everything so easily, you're so full of love and you're so understanding, it's.. a bit strange, maybe? kazui also doesn't get how you can be so open about everything. what he finds oversharing, you see as a completely normal thing to say. when he laughs awkwardly and tries to think of a way to change the topic, you laugh with everyone else. and your laugh sounds sincere. you're not faking. you're not pretending. you're free.

♪ this is what kazui doesn't understand about you at all. you never lie. he tried to listen closer to your words, your tone, look into your eyes, watch your expression change, but no, no signs that you were lying. so that means you're either a really good liar, or you just.. don't lie at all. and living a life without any lies sounds like a dream to kazui. or, it sounds like another lie, a lie that no one would ever believe. so when it's time for another "love talk" with mahiru and the topic of what everyone finds attractive in opposite sex comes up, you casually saying "oh, i'm more into men actually" makes this old man almost have a heart attack. (meanwhile yuno just goes "cool" in the background)

♪ like.. how did you.. do that? kazui simply laughs and goes "wow, that is so bold of you" and you just shrug and say that it's not a big deal. kazui nods with a smile and goes "haha, i see", but on the inside? he's going "THAT IS A BIG DEAL Y/N."  so everyone continues the conversation while kazui is having a crisis and rethinking his life choices. oh no, it's his turn. quick, come up with something. say something like "oh, i like a woman that can make me smile", that should work. see, mahiru looks excited, it worked- "that is a lie, isn't it". oh come on, yuno kashiki, do you really have to ruin everything like this.

♪ "no, but it does sound kind of.. you know" y/n, don't tell him that you think he lied too. well, uh, that was a lie, but. but still. you tell him that his answer simply sounds a bit too.. generic, maybe? like there's nothing special about it. like mahiru clearly looked passionate about this topic and it was hard to make her stop talking. you could tell that it's just mahiru being mahiru, but some other prisoners' answers still said something about their personality and their preferences. they sounded unique. they sounded like something they would say. what kazui said just sounded like a lie made up on spot. and well. you are right.

♪ you tell him that he doesn't have to answer, you don't want to make him uncomfortable, of course. but when everyone walks away and there's only you two left, kazui still can't help but ask you just.. how can you be so honest? how can you be so brave? where did you get all this courage to be yourself and not apologize for it? he says that he's just curious. you feel like there has to be more to it, but you don't say anything. you say that you were simply raised this way. the world is changing. people still can be cruel and unaccepting, that's for sure and you know it well. but you would rather live as yourself than live as a liar.

♪ your conversation ends with a minute of silence. maybe two, maybe three. maybe more. in the end, kazui smiles and thanks you for your answer and leaves. you walk back to your cell, not thinking much of it. meanwhile kazui knows that he won't be able to sleep tonight. there's a man in this prison who is like him, but also not like him at all. kazui was taught to hide this part of him, but you've learned to be proud of that same part. he doesn't get it. maybe.. the world really is changing? the fact that other prisoners didn't say anything about it was weird to him too. were they just pretending to be nice about it? were they just being polite? were they just too shocked to say anything? 

♪ kazui doesn't know how to feel about it. he feels like he has to do something. this whole thing feels like the universe is giving him some sort of sign, except he's too tired to care and he has no idea if that sign is telling him to stop or to keep going. he hates that you talking about your sexuality so casually actually made him a feel a bit happier because. well. saying that he isn't interested in you at all would be another lie. but also saying that he isn't jealous of you at all would be a lie as well. it's hard. it's definitely a hard choice.

♪ kazui really spends the entire night thinking about it. his head is still just as empty and just as full of thoughts as it was. when the morning comes, nobody notices that something is wrong as everyone keeps talking about something or just doing their own thing. but you notice. you turn to him, look at him and laugh. that laugh doesn't sound like you're about to make fun of him. it sounds soft. "hey, you look like your sleep schedule is worse than mine". and kazui has no choice but to laugh back.

I’ve outdone myself… I thought I couldn’t beat fwb Azul’s 88 pages, but I’ve learned that anything is possible with TMDG. ^^;;; if I were to hazard an estimate, I’d say it’s possible I might reach the 80-page mark. Perhaps even a little more than that depending on how many pages certain scenes end up being. So far I’m halfway through the story. There are two main smut scenes left, but in between that I’d like to add in a few fluffy moments between Reader and Jade and some moments between Reader and Floyd! There’s also the epilogue, which I’ve decided to leave in because I feel like it’s a good note to end on. >:D

I’m really happy to know you’re hyped!!! (≧∀≦) Jade is cute and sometimes sinister in this fic, and it reads more like a sugary romance at times. But there’s the underlying unease of yandere, so I’m pleased with how it’s shaping up! He has no idea what he’s doing and how to rizz you, so he puts on his best Floyd impression because that’s what works. But he’s yet to realize that he doesn’t need to try so hard to charm you as someone he’s not. He’s already very charming as he is hehe. <3 and his dynamic with Reader!!!! AAAAAAA OTL I can’t hush about it. They’re literally so perfect for each other. T-T

It's snappy, well-placed, and oozes with Zane's character, although I'm so used to fluffy fics about Zane's cooking skills that this one hit me like a brick! But, that would make sense, given that it takes place after NS11 ;w;

Five Times Zane Was a Nurse: And the one time he wasn't! Ninjago is a really good series for 5+1 fics, lemme tell ya. And DietCokeIsLife definitely sits at the top of t hem!

Fractal: Zane reflects upon being a robot Nindroid and it is beautiful ;w;

MAKING ELECTRICITY// YOU CAN FEEL IT IN YOUR MIND: Zane gets struck by lightning and a cacophony of very vivid descriptions and punchy character moments follow after. A little bit bittersweet, but lovely and with a nice ending!

Cut the Act: A movie!verse Zane fic chronicling how this once "just a normal teen" has to explain what he really is to his friends...even if he is pretty sure they already know. ...Maybe. The ending made me grin like an idiot, though.

Backwards Compatibility: Zane and Pixal go on a date for the first time! ...despite being "together" for such a long time beforehand. They're still very sweet, though. Recc'ing this entirely for the snappy title ;P

From Sunrise: Zane, and the view of what the world looks like from his eyes compared to that of his friends (or, Zane likes waking up early and cold environments. Everyone else does not.)

Snow: POST-PILOTS ZANE with his cold snow day logic getting in the way of some realities for Cole and Jay. Extremely fluffy and full of fun and interesting dynamics and just all-around super cute~!!! (and Kai and Nya are there too <3)

doesn't have a title but Zane is curious to a fault: And that's all you need to know! But, I will tell you that the ending has such a glorious bite of bitter irony to it~

Wobble: Zane and Cole discuss some aftermaths of Cole's fault, all while guilt eats Zane alive. The uneasy TENSION in this one??? Delicious??? Also sad ;w;

more title-less goodness: Zane and Cole discuss the former's break up with Pixal, with neither mentioning the underlying implications in between. You know I love me some Zane and Cole interaction, but this one is zested with, like, dread and a really good, if not somewhat devastating, point to be made.

Crushing loneliness is what he leaves this world with: *lies down* How does spinchip always have such a way with words aaaaaaa (prose about Zane's S3 sacrifice that consumes my mind constantly)

Ship of Theseus: AUGH I ALMOST FORGOT THIS ONE, despite the fact I go back to it aaaaaaaaall the time????? Definitely counts as a Zane fic despite the fact he is "Unavailable" for most of it, but in the quest to get Zane back online from an anonymous viral attack, the group reflects on the Nindroid and the impact he's had on all of them, even outside of their own little group ;w; Also shoutout to the antagonist for this one, it's actually quite a fun little twist~

so yeah, I went to the BC signing session at Nokia Arena today, because what else would I, a full-grown adult with a respectable dayjob, do on a wintery Saturday if not stand in a queue freezing my toes off surrounded by sugar-high teenagers for hours, just to exchange a few words with some band dudes? 🤡

The queuing part was every bit as shitty as it always is when queuing to any BC event really, but I was in high spirits and great company who were polite enough to laugh at my shitty amazing jokes 🥰

Niko was so soft and nice and aaaaaaaaaa the way he laughed so heart-warmingly at the silly (practiced) thing I said?? 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺 I want to put him in my pocket <3

So when I was a kid I used to collect stickers (this is relevant, trust me), especially dog stickers because dogs are cute, and I happen to have a full page of dachshund stickers that look exactly like Rilla, so I thought I'd give Aleksi a couple of those, and the other day I jokingly checked my local supermarket's sticker selection to see if they have any more fun stickers I could give him, and lo and behold I actually found some cool Spider-Man ones, and naturally I JUST couldn’t help myself 😂 and awwwwwww the way his entire face brightened up and he went "NO WAY!! 🤩" when he saw the dachshund ones aaaaaaa 😭💞😭💞😭💞😭 he said he'll put them on his laptop where he has also collected other stickers 🥺💞 I gave them in a Minigrip bag so that he hopefully won't lose them before he gets home (see the picture below for the stickers)

The last time I saw Olli at a signing session I was so blown away by his beauty that I could barely speak a word to him, so this time I was determined to actually have some sort of a conversation with him, and I did succeed, even if we only talked about the weather (my go-to conversation topic) 😂 it's difficult to translate the Finnish word tarjeta, but basically I asked him how's the weather been in Oulu, and he said it's been cold ("Mites Oulussa on tarettu?" "Kylmä on."), but apparently he actually likes cold weather, my reply being "well I don't you fucking weirdo &lt;3"

Joonas heard this intellectual exhange of opinions and put in his two cents as he told me how they had recently visited Oulu and that it had been significantly colder than in Helsinki 👍

Also, as you may have seen from pictures by now, he was wearing no shirt under his blazer and yeah, I may have taken a good look at his rug while he was signing my totebag 👁️👄👁️ In my defence, he had it out for everyone to see, so where else was I supposed to look? His eyes? 🙄

At that signing session I went to in Stockholm last year (see the link above) I didn't manage to say a damn thing to Tommi lol (I blame Joel and Olli), so that was my other goal for this time and yaaaay, success! I didn't say much to him though, just "hi" and "ah darn, is that bloody marker not working? and here I thought I had bought a good one" ("Olin ostavinani hyvän tussin")

For context: I had brought my BC totebag (which I bought exactly 2 years ago tomorrow and have used maybe twice during all this time) with me for them to sign, and as I wasn't sure if they'd have fabric markers, I had gone and bought one for the purpose myself, and I had tested it (on paper) at home, but I guess the cold weather had affected the ink, so it was working quite poorly. They all did manage to scribble down their autographs though, and the extra time it took for them to do so offered me some extra time to chat with them, which was nice actually 🤭 (hehe sneaky meeee)

To Joel I said the new song is great ("Helevetin hyvä se uus biisi"), which he was pleased to hear. He gave me back my totebag but not my marker, so I had to ask for it lol, to which he said his brain was not working properly anymore (felt 💀), to which I said that at least he hasn't been standing in the freezing cold for hours, to which he said: "yeah, you're the actual heroes here" and hell yeah we are lol, I wouldn't do this shit for any other band 😌

Then he tried to give me the autograph card of the next person in line dfdggdgdgddd poor Joel, I guess his brain really wasn't working

Afterwards my mouth was SO dry from talking so much in such a short time lol, but I was happy I got to say most of the stuff I had wanted to say to them. I was planning to show Aleksi a picture of our family dachshunds like I had done in Stockholm, but with all the hassle with the marker I kinda forgot about it (I kept grumbling about the shitty marker to literally all of them except Joel), and anyway I didn't want to slow down the queue any more than I already was 🙈

After the signing session we had pizza and went to the local Christmas market that just opened today and I bought some organic coffee beans for my brother for Christmas, so all in all I had a lovely day (ignoring the cold-as-balls weather) 🥰💞

The night is usually quiet within the walls of the Trancy Estate. You and ALOIS sleep soundly in the master bedroom, and the servants take care not to disturb either of you unless it’s important.

It’s never a surprise that your lover is affectionate with you. He loves being able to touch, hug, kiss, just lie there and let his hands wander wherever they feel like wandering. Tonight, though, he goes a step further; as soon as you lie down next to him, his arms are around you. He nestles his face against your neck and breathes in your scent like it’s the last memory he’ll ever have.

“Well, hello, beautiful,” you hum in amusement. You run a gentle hand through his hair, stopping with your fingers curled at the base of his neck. “Are you thinking hard about something?”

He nods with his face still against you, though it feels like he’s relaxed a bit. No longer as desperate as he was when he first grabbed at you. “Yes. I’m thinking about how much I love you. And how happy I am that I found you before someone else did.”

You chuckle, and your other hand comes down to rest on his back. His muscles relax under your touch, his whole self cuddling in at the reminder that he’s safe with you. “I think even if someone else found me first, you’d have found a way to steal me. You’re good like that. And I love you, too.”

“Mmmh. You smell so good.” His breathing is even, delicate. The rest of the world is so quiet, anything too loud or harsh could break this moment into a million pieces. His fingers, balled into half-fists, stroke up and down your spine. “(Name)… this isn’t going to end, is it? It’s not some kind of dream?”

Your head tilts despite knowing he can’t see it. “What’s not? Our life?”

“Mhm. You see, sometimes… sometimes I’m afraid that’s all it is. A dream that my mind’s made up to make myself feel less lonely.”

“Hm. Well, I think I would know if I were a dream, darling. I feel very real.”

He chuckles and it’s a warm puff of air that makes you shiver a little. “Good.”

Another few minutes pass. It’s dark outside, you know, even with the curtains drawn. Alois is usually fast asleep by now, snoring thirty seconds after he drops down into your arms. You have to wonder what’s keeping him awake tonight.

Finally, he murmurs against your skin, “… Do you promise you’ll love me forever? No matter what?”

“Forever? That’s a long time,” you tease, scratching lightly at his scalp. “Do you mean until we die, or even after that?”

He lets out a small noise of thought before deciding. “No, after that. Do you promise that even when we’re dead, you’re still going to love me? When we’re just souls without bodies… will you find me and stay with me? Will you choose me even then?”

The way he speaks, you think he wants to believe the answer you’ll give will be a yes… but that he’s tensing himself up, braced for a no. You know there is something inside him, something that aches heavy in his chest, that thinks you’ll eventually get tired of him. That thinks at some point, you’ll stop seeing him as worthy of your love.

You comb his hair back, and kiss the top of his head. “I suppose so. If we’re just souls after that, it might take me a while to find you, but I’ll do it.”

“You will?” His grip suddenly tightens. “But… but what about… it’s ‘till death do us part’, isn’t it?”

You tug the covers up over the two of you. “It’s precious that you think death is going to stop me from loving you, Alois. You should really be more concerned with what happens if I die first. Because if I do, I’ll haunt you every day until you join me.”

He lets out something that sounds like a cross between a laugh and a sob, then presses himself against you even more. “… Fine, then. If I die first, I’ll haunt you, too.”

“Oh, dear, it seems I’ll never be rid of you,” you chuckle. You offer another kiss, this time to his forehead as he peeks up just a little at you.

Ah, that smile he gives is wicked. “Just as planned.”

Jokes: [Wanted to give it a 10 outta smtg rating similarly to my other post. However I realized I need to first define what would be a 10 and what would be a 0 to do that… OOF] I really liked the jokes in this one! The ‘atmosphere’ of this episode overall was also nice. Lighthearted fun and silliness is my typa thing :3 Deffo would have a high rating!

Closing statement -> I was surprised that this episode was so good idk I had lower expectations going in for some reason? I love how it turns out to be a TF2 episode tho~
