I never realized how short Megumi was. Like, geez, that height difference. It's actually 28cm but my brain was like "it's close to 30cm" and I wrote 30cm instead of 28cm. (Also, I had to convert it to feet and inches on my end because I am American so Megumi is about 5ft and Isami is pushing 6ft. 👀)

That's a huge reason why Isami defaults to Big Spoon. Another reason why is that he gets easily cold and wraps around her like she's a personal heater. There are times that they switch, though.

Pretty obvious why Megumi "borrows" clothes more than Isami. I like to think that Megumi never has to buy a casual hoodie again because she can just take his. Only reason why Isami is not completely the lender is because he actually borrows her headbands and other hair accessories.

Megumi is half convinced Isami forgot her name due to the many pet names he has for her. (Luna is his favorite.)

Piggybacking on the pet name thing, Isami will either flirt compliment her or try to do something in every encounter. Megumi leans more into actions, especially since she finds herself getting flustered because Isami tries to one up her in words.

Eventually, Megumi would have confessed first. Eventually.

Neither are scared of bugs, but Isami would take longer to observe it while Megumi goes for the kill.

Both drive, but Megumi prefers not too if she can.

They both love PDA, but Megumi puts a bit of a limit depending on where in public (and who they are around.)

Isami knows that Megumi is capable of handling herself but he can't help but to watch over her (as does everyone else). Also, his brother is Takumi so he's used to being protective.

Megumi at least has hand holding experience. Isami has had a couple encounters before, but they were very short.

These are based off of my personal HCs, and they are prone to change. 😛 Hopefully, I didn't get too much wrong in their facts.

Of Honey and Flowers

Thump, thump. Isami quietly walked down the halls of the Polar Star Dorm. His heart felt like it was going to leap out of his chest any minute. In his hands were a bouquet of daffodils. They slightly shook with the movement of Isami. He gulped and felt his shoulders tense up. 

There she was. The lovely Megumi that had somehow taken up a big deal of his heart. Isami took a deep breath and prepared to approach her before stopping himself. I’m not ready, he thought. And with that came another. And another. And another. Isami felt his shoulders drop bit by bit. What if I make her uncomfortable? What if she’s disappointed she’s receiving these from me? What if after what if, he didn’t notice when the bluenette walked up to him. 

“Isami-kun!” She greeted and shot him a smile. That sweet, pure smile that can bring any man to his knees.

His breath got taken away instantly. “Tadokoro-san…uh….” His face started to heat up and he felt beads of sweat start to form on his left temple. She shot a curious look at him and saw the flowers.

“A bouquet! How beautiful!” Megumi clapped her hands together and Isami could see the light in her eyes. Before he knew it, he was extending them out to her.

“Actually…these are for you, Tadokoro-san..” His voice barely came out as a whisper but Megumi was able to catch them all. Now it was her turn for her face to heat up. “They stand for affection…or liking…and their color reminds me of honey which reminds me of you because well…you’re sweet and…ahhh, what am I even saying now?!” 

He turned to leave and kept his head down. He felt ridiculous. She probably thought he was. “Isami-kun, wait please!” His thoughts stopped and his eyes widened as a soft hand grabbed onto his own. He slowly turned back and met the honey-colored eyes of Megumi.

“..Megumi is fine….and..thank you for the flowers. They’re lovely.” She smiled once more and she looked like an angel despite the fact she felt like she looked like a bright tomato. Isami muttered a quick it’s no problem before hurriedly walking away, his heart almost exploding. Megumi looked back at the bouquet and before taking in their scent, noticed a small card with the words I like you. If possible, she turned even more red and hugged the bouquet gently to her chest.

Okay, but this was a cute request. Thanks for sending it in.
