Ship headcanons? If you want please so some Sōma x Akira! They're my otp but I don't see anyone else shipping them T ^ T
Sorry this took a while! I'm not too active on this blog anymore (if it wasn't obvious but I am cooking up an AU that I might write) but I got you.
Akira actually thinks Soma's food is delicious so he's pretty much always ok with testing Soma's new experiments, only to forget the culinary monstrosities he can come up with
Nose plugs are a common sight during these times
They are the "enemies to rivals to lovers" trope only they're still rivals while lovers. (Honestly, Soma is this with like 90% of the ships he's in)
Akira can be overwhelmed with just how much prep and experimentation Soma does and it inspires him to work even harder
The two of them bond over the trauma of being smacked by Jun
Once Soma gets to travelling around the world, he always looks for things and new spices that he thinks Akira will love (and some he knows Akira will hate)
Akira opens his own restaurant when he's older and every now and then Soma cooks at it when he's not travelling. Demand sky rockets on those days
Akira introduces Soma to high fashion while Soma gets Akira into trash "reality" TV. They both hate and love each other for that
They adopt a cat who Soma names "Peanut Butter". Akira is annoyed to no end that the cat only answers to that
The day Akira calls the cat "PBJ" Soma is so happy he holds onto Akira the whole day
Akira sometimes uses Soma's fingers as replacements for his cinnamon sticks to smell. Soma thinks it's one of the most attractive things Akira does.

The defintion of hell is knowing a show is incredibly well-received in its first season, but if people don’t become machines churning out tweets, content, and rewatching 24/7, there’s no likelihood it’ll get a chance to tell its whole story. This shit is madness. Shows in different genres shouldn’t have to pit-battle for dominance. First seasons are MEANT to be baselines establishing worlds and characters, not complete storylines. The idea that this golden age of television has turned into “get it done in one or get out” is revolting.

Remember that Sorina childhood friends AU that I mentioned before? I'm gonna start posting about it on my main blog and re-blogging it to here. I don't really have the time to fully write it out, so I'll just be doing quick bullet point-like summaries of parts of it. I might end up writing out full scenes, though.

want some positive world news? yesterday, in a truly historic moment, Colombia elected its first left-wing president. after 20 years of far-right rule, the traditionally conservative country has elected the remarkably progressive candidate Gustavo Petro (and his running mate Francia Márquez, who will be the first black woman to serve as the country's Vice President!)
for context, imagine if the U.S. had successfully elected Bernie Sanders (after 20 years of republican presidents). that's how big a deal this is. amidst a dangerous global rise in conservatism, this is an enormous win and a cause for hope.

I know you probably get this everyday, but would you be so nice as to show the proper hieroglyphs for Osiris.
It was my dogs name and I lost him unexpectedly yesterday. He was my best friend and I’m devastated. I’d like to engrave his proper name in his urn.
Oh love I'm so sorry, losing a companion animal is awful, and when it happens unexpectedly it can be so much worse.
Here's Osiris' proper name in hieros, most commonly rendered as Wesir:
However, since it was your dog's name, I've taken the liberty of rendering it with a dog hiero at the end, and adding mAa-xrw, meaning "true of voice" or "justified", which was a common epithet for the deceased.
Because I didn't know what shape of urn you were thinking of, I also rendered it vertically (and more vertically) for you:
or
Sending you many good thoughts. <3
