How-To! Here’s how I made my final Island Fox head form— custom sculpted by yours truly. The Gray Island Fox. Indigenous to California , these mammals currently occupy the channel islands just off the coast. After nearly going extinct from humans ranching, the land was converted into a national park preserve and they were able to recover. Now we get to enjoy their company at camp. They have so much personality and just walk right up to your site looking for food. Don't feed em though or they might bring back their families and become dependant. So I waned to have the Alolan psuedo legendary dragons appear in @poni-islandfox (cuz it takes place in Vast Poni Canyon, where the dragon-trial is)... despite having never drawn them before.

This was my second ever attempt at drawing Hakamo-o... and I’m actually pretty happy with the outcome.

We feel honored to have spotted the endangered, protected Island Foxes on Santa Cruz Island, Channel Islands National Park. These beautiful tiny foxes are found only on these remote California islands and nowhere else in the world.
