Hear me out-

Sun has already mentioned sending Dazzle to school, and with Jack confirmed as a child as well ((tween Jack my beloved)), Solar may also come around to the idea. There's a precedent for animatronic kids and stuff, but like... the other bots have two parents.

Dazzle and Jack are both single-parented kids, legally and officially speaking. But Sun and Solar effectively coparent them together. So when they sign up the kids, go through the admissions process, etc, maybe they mention or imply accidentally that they're enrolling their kids (shared) and are both kids parents (plural). Mama Sun hours and Papa Solar time doesn't really help with the allegations. So in the system? Sun + Solar are listed as Jack AND Dazzle's parents, and the kids are listed as siblings.

((Bonus points, that the kids take placement tests and both score about 4-5th grade level. Dazzle is enrolled in 4th grade, and Jack gets 5th. Turns out homeschooling with Earth and Sunny set them up with all sorts of success!!!))

Well, I do a lot of things on a whim by impulse. I feel like they'd just walk in one moment and I'm sitting there crochetting after never once mentioning any interest in it. Also guitar. Everybody seems surprised when I mention I play guitar, I assume my f/os would be no different.

Do you have any hobbies or interests that may come as a surprise to your F/O(s)? Maybe you secretly enjoy rollerblading, or can not stand horror movies- but love to play scary games, or forgot to ever mention that you have about five different unfinished sewing projects, picked up boxing training, and have been meaning to paint your nails with all that nail polish you have, and finally bought some binoculars even though you technically don't need them for that bird-watching you've wanted to do at least once. And you actually have secret knowledge on some topic like space or a specific game or media that just magically somehow never came up in conversation...

But of course, the real kicker of this, how do they react! Are they not surprised at all because it seems so fitting for something you enjoy? Do they put on a facade of anticipating it but the second they turn a corner their jaw drops cause WHAT! Or do they just immediately exclaim their surprise from the start?
