Art galleries with html/css???

I’ve been suffering trying to create an image gallery so i can put my art up on my Neocities but all the guides i’ve found are geared towards photos and my art always gets cropped badly when i try them. I don’t want to have to go through the trouble of making square thumbnails that you have to click on for every piece of work i wanna upload because thats tedious and will make it harder for me to keep this up to date

Are there any other artists with personal sites out there who’ve found a good method of presenting their work?? Or experienced coders with any advice?

the amount of mischaracterization i see for hizashi yamada is honestly crushing. there’s such an obvious and blatant difference between present mic and hizashi. present mic is loud, boisterous, and openly obnoxious — hizashi is quiet, clearly softspoken, and tender with loved ones. the entire job that comes with the title present mic? it’s all a facade, some long overrun acting role that he won’t be able to escape until he either dies in action or retires. writing him off as just a ‘loud blonde’ and making his quirk his personality is kinda fucked up, and the lack of differentiation between him as a character and the character he puts on for the masses is sad.

today (or i guess yesterday. maybe both) was so weird. i started school at 9am... got a headache ~4pm.. had to go to this social event i signed up for (fun even tho i was in pain) then got home n felt nauseous n just ate an apple (passed up not one but TWO hot dogs. and roast chicken.          Anyhow! Now she shall be returning to her lovely apartment with her lovely wife, dragging their well-won loot behind them.         And she has someone to enjoy it with! For once in her life!! That’s a first!!! The first Halloween where she properly eats the candy, and it’s the full-size bars!!!! The good stuff!!!!! There shall be much celebration tonight, just after she’s had time to get out of her gear and help Aaravi out of hers.
