How chat found out: it should be pretty easy for anyone to find out if im going to be completely honest. as she is both a bragger and a complainer.

if you had done something, anything, that she didnt like or just thought was stupid, she was going to lovingly complain about it to her following. and yes, this also applies to everything and everything you accomplish.

so uhm, lets just say she also sees no reason to keep such things a secret unless you begged her to not mention your relationship(she would still end up talking abt it at some point).

but luckily her chatters are nice and like you. but they definitely how Fu Xuan pulled you, they do not see the vision of how she did that

On-Stream: she herself does not see any difference in how she treats you whether she is streaming or not. her viewers however, very much see a difference to when you are with her or not

Honestly I have so much to say about her. so much. so here's some of it

-Asajj (NOT VENTRESS THAT'S HER LAST NAME ISTG PEOPLE JUST HATE USING HER ACTUAL NAME AND IDK WHY I GUESS IT'S A COOL NAME BUT ASAJJ IS ALSO A COOL NAME AND)

-Asajj was last seen in canon in the Dark Disciple novel. Where she died. I would never recommend that book to anyone so if you haven't read it yet please don't. In short, after becoming a Bounty Hunter in The Clone Wars she grew out her hair, got a cool yellow Lightsaber and for some reason teamed up with Quinlan Vos to try and kill Dooku. They didn't manage to do it. And Asajj died (was fridged) trying to protect Quinlan. The Bad Batch will not contradict that, as was said by the creators. So this is just a summary for anyone who hasn't read it because I wholeheartedly believe that book is bad

-I have not watched a single Bad Batch episode in my life. As a disclaimer. I started the first one, watched their TCW arc and saw memes screenshots clips and spoilers but I do not know this show. I will watch it now that Asajj's there tho

-She does not have the same outfit anymore! It's a change, and we haven't gotten a clear look at her new design so idk how to judge it yet. Might be to look less recognizable, but it has a very different vibe than any of her prior outfits. There's a leftover shoulder pad and probably some other stuff from her last design but I feel like they kinda clash with the new one and tbb's design language in general. The Bounty Hunter look has a very TCWish feel to it and this one is a sharp turn in another, much more casual direction. I'm not inherently against it but I guess we'll see how it looks in action soon

-In my opinion the hair looks like shit. I don't think she should have hair ever. I don't understand why she can't be bald. Why is she bald when she's evil and has hair when she's a padawan (good) and when she is "redeemed"? guess we'll never know. It's a leftover from the cancelled Dark Disciple TCW arc design (and the Dark Disciple cover and promotional material ofc) and it's bad if you ask me but to each their own and if you like it good for you

-Her Lightsaber!!!!! Same case as the hair in terms of irl development but I like it so much better. The yellow just fits her character and it's pretty. Would love for her to find another one and get back to dual-wielding (I know that won't happen)

-The bag and pouches make me so happy as a design element do you think she carries a (tooka) cat in there

-Now, visually she looks great and the animation style is smoother and nicer than TCW (as is the quality), but what about the direction the character's going in? I didn't like her being dead before, but I felt like it was somewhat better than her being shoved into being a cameo character in new content. If you can't touch her after a certain point, you also can't mess her up. But I do wonder where they're going with her. A few questions:

-Asajj in canon is a directionless character. Also, a partially nonsensical and inconsistent character in her choices and storylines. I've talked about it a lot but in short she just feels messy. What's her purpose in life? Her motive? Her origin story doesn't really make sense, even. She's a Bounty Hunter, sure, but why? If all she wants is revenge on Dooku and maybe money (which was pretty much the case in Dark Disciple), what's she doing after the Empire? And more importantly, why?

-Obviously, the question I haven't asked yet because I don't like it: How the fuck is she alive? Nightsisters have a weird relationship with death but seriously, how?

-She's a Force User after the Rise of the Empire now, so what does he do about that? Is she founding The Path? Fucking around and finding out? Making a not-Jedi-not-Sith order with other force users she finds? Is the Empire after her? Do they know she's live?

-What about her girlfriend? Is Latts Razzi safe? Is she alright?

-Why is she in The Bad Batch show? Are we making her into a cameo character or is there a purpose? Why'd they bring her back? For fun? What is she doing after the show? Floating in dead space? Cameo-ing? Will we have a book?

-OK enough for tonight but if we see Quinlan Vos in the show I'll become violent (/neg). We probably will (he might just get mentioned idk).

Oh oh how about a player who's nothing like the mc in the game. Like the mc they've made is this extrovert, confident character who loves to touch Cove and tease him but the player irl is an introvert, self-conscious and while teasing, is a little nicer. Touching is kinda difficult for them.

At least in the game being too touchy isn't frowned upon and Cove loves it anyway but irl player is probably too nervous to even do pda or being too much or maybe they're not actually used to touch.

Just thinking about Cove pulling the player in and instead of getting a hug the player pulls away cuz they're not used to being touched and thinking Cove probably won't even love this real you.

he actually feels a bit relieved. I mean, he's not the cove you fell for either. he knows he's become more needy, more possessive...

do u like plants a lot like i do rn and rly want some of ur own irl but ur probably neurodivergent and worry u wont be able to take care of them properly? Worry not! i have discovered a genius idea

real quick disclaimer tho idk if this is a new thing or if everyone n their mother does this and i just dont know abt it but regardless here's how i did it!!!

step 1.

go to pinterest and search for a pretty, not too detailed background of ur choice- color doesn't matter but i went with white so it kinda looked like a wall-

step 2.

make the image u chose into the size of ur screen- super easy way to do this and get it exact is just go into ur gallery, find the image u liked, and zoom in on it until it covers ur whole screen- then just take a screenshot 🥳

step 3 (optional).

if u want to, go into hypic or whatever image editing app u love and make ur background look pretty somehow- this is essentially just to personalize it and make it nicer than just 1 image but u can do whatever!!

i went with johnson dayvis my favorite silly little guy 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

step 4.

now that u have ur background image all nice, put a horizontal line somewhere on ur image- i put mine here :>

go into canva or any other place u can find transparent pngs and find some plants u like!!! i use canva for this stuff constantly bc they have such a wide variety of like graphics n photos n stuff with transparent backgrounds- and ofc they give u the option to save w/a transparent background too- (some photos/graphics n i think the option to save w/a transparent background are paywalled tho :( )

- Idk Kentas, the smooth talk of humans can be pretty hot coming from the ladies. I for one would love to be smooth talked by Lunark so she can go ahead and learn all she wants.

- Seira, Regis and Rael are gonna need therapy for being experimented on. Not that it'll happen but they need it. And the way that Ignes and 9th just refer to them as samples... love the dehumanisation. Very accurate to how it'd be.

- Rajak and Kentas encountering each other is so funny like if it was me I'd just awkwardly say hi and try to converse about the weather or whether he also got lost on his way to the toilet and complain about how in the past Roctis and 9th are stuck to still do outdoor latrines and I think I'd be successful in fooling whoever I was talking to, be it Kentas or Rajak.

- As much as Roctis loves Ignes, he must really hate her too tbh. Like because of her he betrayed the man he admired since we know unlike the other traitors he had no problem with Lukedonia or Raizel. Because of her he's involved in the Union and doing things that go against his morals. Because of her not listening to him the Union causes trouble for him amd Raizel has arrived. Like ofc it's his own fault for doing the terrible shit but.. He definitely oscillates wildly between hating and blaming her and hating and blaming himself and both for everything. Cos he very obviously is not enjoying anything aside from his daughter being alive. Like he def loves her, I just think he also probably hates her at points even if he'd never express it.

- I want to use Frankenstein as an experiment too but not the way the noblesse characters do it. My experiments would be releasing him in a group of nobles who've never met him and are completely unaware of him and who aren't bad ppl to see how things go and write down notes while saying hmm i see. This would be in the past when he first arrived in Lukedonia so my hypothesis is that he'd piss off the first few groups but would gradually realise my experiment and become more cordial and be nice to them. Basically my experiments are social experiments instead of straight up human experimentation. Are they ethical? Idk probably not but I think I can get a pass compared to what everyone else in noblesse does.

Like you can see that he's still kinda nice because even though the school he created was only for Raizel, he still did make it, and in how he interacts with the household when they're injured, but he's also all emo and edgy which isn't great.

Lmao, last night I had a lucid dream (I was aware that it was a dream and could interact with it that way) where due to some shenanigans, I ended up in an alternate reality where I had no trauma

My traumaless version was a mid-transitioned version of myself (cause his parents let him transition cause they're nicer, therefore he has much less trauma already) but was also way less queer? He/him only, trying to look like a CIS guy at all costs, even getting that awful "shaved on the sides" haircut, binding always; and he even kept the name Jay (for those who don't know, I chose the name Jay when I had just realized because i wanted to "play it safe" so I chose an "actual name" before realizing I could do whatever the fuck I wanted and named myself Jupiter), and even choosing to date only straight girls so he could feel closer to the allocishet experience (I'm ace-spec irl and tbh I wonder if he just let sexual things happen despite probably not being that big of a fan)

He also spent all the time masking cause ofc he's still neurodivergent, and I can tell he was traumaless in my way, but had some issues of his own too qwq

It’s my childhood, my world, and if you’d asked that question in front of people who know me in irl the reactions would’ve ranged from

‘Oh god cover your ears’ to ‘does she, this person, like Harry Potter? *sarcastic laugh*’ and some of the nicer people would be like ‘she’s Siya. Ofc she does.’

My room is filled with hp merchandise and accessories (half of which are cringey diys which look like shit but are too close to my heart to throw away), I have tshirts of it and I have made my very own chopstick+glue gun+nail polish wand which I’m proud to say is still intact and looks pretty cool

There was a Harry Potter trivia night last year in a new cafe and loads of people from my grade said they’d come and every. fucking. one. Bailed. They all said no one would come but jokes on them because the cafe was overflowing with people and I could barely grab a table for me (and my friend from dance who was the only one who kept her promise)

“least favorite” implies dislike which...not true! truthfully it’s much of HEAVENS by nature of ‘I haven’t spent as much time getting to know these characters so I don’t really know who they are.’ (though I already know I love to go for drinks and snacks with Van hehe) i do like all of HEAVENS quite a bit from what i’ve seen so far but that affection has not had time to ripen! 

3. A character that you never thought you would love as much as you do now?

I can’t answer everything with Ranmaru but like. His ambition, straightforwardness, and how the soul and spirit of music motivate him to move forward beyond a tough past are things I same hat so much ;; But HONESTLY I also relate a lot to Masa and Tokiya, especially in their moments of self-doubt and dramatic commitment to to their art? 

5. A character that you think deserves more love?

Oh, Cecil, without a doubt. He’s such a resilient, committed, and open-hearted cutie and gets really shafted by canon tbh. Which makes it harder for everyone to see what a great boy this sweetie is! But I appreciate how Shining Live has given him some room to have really cute and standout moments so everyone can love him more but okay like, give me more Ceci and Ran palling around I love him most when they’re up to shenanigans

I had plans to cosplay Ranmaru a couple months ago bc it’s really not much of a stretch for my wardrobe, haha, but I dunno about that anymore! Part of it was wanting the Euphoria of looking like a tough, twunky, princely anime character but tbqh I’m already that every day of my life so 

I suppose if you were to pull my leg I’d go for cosplaying Van, mostly because I wanna try that mullet on for myself.

I love Ai and Shouta Aoi’s incredible voice but......I’m really not a fan of super slow, overly-saccharine songs. u__u so A.I. really, really doesn’t land with me, much less so than easygoing (like Knocking on the Mind) or somber (like Winter Blossom) songs.

ranran...it’s always ranran...

(I do also adore Natsuki’s and Camus’s voices! I tend to like deeper, richer vocal qualities, but you just can’t beat Ranmaru’s subtle growls and high-energy rock!!!! <3)

god what combo of these idiots DONT i love? I could watch Reiji prank and tease Ranmaru all fuckin day, and I also really like it when Ran’s at his most ‘tuff big bro-y’ with, like, Ai, Otoya, and Cecil!!! but honestly I do like how the Ran/Masa/Ren trio isn’t so straightforward and is more or less held together by a thin string of professionalism, there’s something i appreciate about not forcing ppl to just bury the hatchet and be Perfect Friends but you all can still care about each other? (Ranmaru needs to be nicer to them still but...) 

i need to suggest one that isn’t ranmaru centric fjdsioafjsa i fuckin love Soccer Buds (otosyo) and I loooooove it when Otoya and Cecil are good to each other!!!

Ahhh that’s tough! I love all these goofbags, and Tattsun really is just so cool and makes music I’m pretty about. But I think I gotta give it to Suwabe, his performances are always so him but still pretty varied, and how can you not adore a man who loves his chihuahuas that much??? 

(if i’m being 100% honest Tattsun lost points bc he voices my absolute least favorite character in granblue ffjsfjisda) 

22. Favorite Drama CD?

HMMMMMMM see as a certified Giant Tool for Everything Mecha and silly and extra, I enjoyed the hell out of Polaris, but it really suffers from a lack of Ranmaru in my humble fuckin opinion lmao. So even though I’m not one for pirate stuff most of the time, I gotta give it to Pirates of the Frontier!! I really loved Ranmaru and Otoya’s dynamic in that one, and Camus was juuuuust the right amount of shitheel, too. 

I haven’t heard the whole thing but that thing from Egoistic where Natsuki squeezes Ranmaru to death and Eiichi’s just like ‘WUAHAHAHAHAH’ is also the mcfuckin best.

HOW COULD I POSSIBLY PICK?????????? LIKE??? I love the fucking dumb, dumb, dumb ostentatiousness of Evil Villains, I LOVE a good heel, and I also worked so so hard to t1 that event and had a lot of fun doing it!! But also, I just love his big smile and all the energy and mixed prints from Fortune and Prosperity, and it was literally the first time I ever got the exact card I was rolling for in a gacha on the last pull I had left!! (He also came home during a time I was really going through some shit, and ngl it rescued me a little bit!) but AHHHH Soulful Bass also came out right around my birthday, I love all the textures in the outfit and it’s generally the most My Aesthetique thing Utapri has ever released!!! And god, I just love it when he’s so confident and in his element like this, it sets me on FIRE to see him light up the stage wurghjgfj ;___; They all make me just want to HUG SO MUCH ARGGHHHHH

Ahhh I think Shining Live really has great beatmaps across the board so that’s a tough pick! Almost all of them are super fun in their own way, but I think I gotta hand it to Wild Soul, Top Star Revolution, and Innocent Wind!

26. Black Deja Vu or White Gravity?

Actually I’m really glad for this question bc I’ve been so busy lately I hadn’t given myself the time to really check them out! checking ......... 

and yep. Black Deja Vu. (I mean...Ranmaru is on it, haha.) But I’m so about this. Love this heavier sound and all these harmonies, this is so juicy. (White Gravity also absolutely kicks ass though!! I’m really liking that voice group, it’s making especially good use of those higher registers!) 

27. Utapri merch that you own/want?

Honestly I don’t have much u__u Not a lot of Utapri merch is my thing...you know? I’m mostly shopping for Ran merch if I’m getting any, but I’m very picky about how he gets drawn? Keeping his toughness and a particular clothing style about him is so essential, haha, and barely anything hits that sweet spot for me. But I will say I adored the whole ‘My Favorite Things’ series, and if I had the budget and space atm I’d love to get some of the Ran goodies from that line! 

28. How did you get into Utapri?

I first heard about it through some acquaintances from cosplay before Quartet Night was a thing. It didn’t appeal enough to my heavy metal ass to make me drop everything and try it, but I did have an interest in it I couldn’t explain and I’d always intended on trying it out. (especially after I got into Love Live and idol anime for a bit.) But it was Shining Live that got me! And I really only downloaded Shining Live because I was super exhausted after a business trip, didn’t want to leave bed once I got back home, and just wanted to sink my teeth in something new I could enjoy for hours while lying down, haha.  

29. A set theme in shining live that you want to see in the future?

This will surprise nobody, but something tougher. More rock, more punk, more metal. I want all of them in studs and spikes and leather, and I want less polish. More rough! 

I’d also love a wrestler set complete with who’s-a-heel-who’s-a-face but that’s a pipe dream and a half, lmao. 

30. Why do you love your best boy?

Oh boy. 

I think he’s this powerhouse of a human bean who can face a ton of pain and meet it with a big middle finger. And that middle finger is chasing after ambitious dreams, of spreading the power and soul of the same music that made me who I am and influences so much of my work, but also being ... you know, smart about it? He’s an idol because like, sure, maybe it’s not the OG dream, but you can’t dream if you’re dead, and you also deserve to give yourself a life and platform to share some of who you are, and you can do a lot of good with that, too. (And I won’t lie, I respect the drama of a man who takes his hair that seriously and commits so hard to the aesthetic he wears fuckin mismatched contacts i just. charm point ) 

But at the same time....I don’t know, this might sound presumptuous, but. I think. I just think he’d think I’m as neat as I think he is. I’m an ambitious, passionate person, too, and I also furiously stick to my ideals, and I also love the same kind of soul of music he does. I lean a little more metal than I do rock, but I think that’s nice, like sharing it has that ‘alike but different’ kind of familiarity and novelty all at once. Sometimes it’s tough sharing just how deeply rock and metal have sculpted me and my artwork (and therefore my career), bc it’s so deeply personal to me, and sometimes there’s weird elitism/misogyny/racism to deal with, too. But. The way he talks about rock, the way he describes the passion and how it transcends identity and is just a pure rush of power and sharing your feelings..................it just feels like he Gets it the same way I do. Just that unspoken, burning passion and understanding. I know it sounds weird to feel that strongly over just a music genre, but I just vibe with how to him, it really isn’t ‘just’ a music genre. I feel more accepting of myself for it, and I’d like to think he’d be real proud of himself for that.  

And listen, like....I’m very sentimental, but I really don’t like saccharine, flowery, romantic kinds of affection to be lavished on me. Just be straightforward but also a little tsun about it fjdsjfas and ..... those are the kind of feelings I can accept. And that’s the way Ranmaru is, and it’s also grounded in the kind of reality that I don’t like to be swept away from. He’s just so cool and hardworking and unwavering in his passion, it makes it easier for me to do the same despite all the bumps in the road. This got real long but Ran’s a cool dude, haha, I got a lot of positives to say.

In her head it was all sunshine and butterflies. Allie has been on two, coming up on three dates with Jensen and they were constantly calling and texting.

“Uh oh,” Trish said “I know that look.”

“What look?” Allie asked as she dug into her salad.

“That love struck look,” Trish said fondly “it’s cute on you, it really is.”

Allie rolled her eyes and said

“It’s not love, I’ve barely been on three dates with him.”

“But you REALLY like him right?” Trish asked

“Of course I do.” Allie told her “What’s NOT to like? He’s sweet, smart and sexy as hell.”

“Sexy huh?” Trish asked her eyebrows raising.

“GOD yes!” Allie told her.

“I've never heard you describe a guy as sexy that wasn't Sebastian Stan or Alexander Skarsgard.” Trish pointed out and Allie laughed.

“That's true,” she admitted “but I'm telling you, he is.”

“I believe you.” Trish said with a fond smile.

That night, Allie and Jensen were talking on FaceTime when he asked

“So what are your plans for this weekend?”

“Well, I was hoping to see you if you aren’t too busy for little old me.” She said with a pretend pouty face and he laughed.

“No need to pout baby, I always want to see you. How about you come over and I’ll make you dinner?” He suggested.

“You can cook? I didn’t know you could cook!” She exclaimed.

“I’m no chef but I’m up to scratch,” he said “so what do you say?”

“Sure, you want me to bring anything?” She asked.

“Yes, your appetite.” He told her.

“Good thing I always have that with me.” She chided him, making him laugh again.

That weekend, Jensen had messaged her his address and according to her map, it would take her around fifteen minutes to get there. She stopped at the store and grabbed a bottle of wine she knew he’d like and continued on. As she got closer to his house, she watched as the neighborhoods got nicer and nicer.

“Wow.” She said and double checked her phone to make sure it was taking her to the right place. Sure, he had mentioned he was in the technology business, but he’d never mentioned money, not even in passing. She raised an eyebrow as she turned into a neighborhood that wasn’t named and went down the road her map was taking her. She got to the second to last house on the right and pulled into the driveway, marveling at the house in front of her. It was an all white, brick house with white trim and a natural wooden front door. Suddenly feeling very self conscious and foolish, as if she had pulled up to the wrong house and this was all an elaborate April Fool’s joke, she got out of the car and walked up to the front door and rang the bell. Once Jensen appeared, he was smiling and gave her a hug and a kiss after he opened the door for her.

“Jesus, who lives here?” She asked

“I do.” He told her and glanced at the bottle of wine in her hand “I told you not to bring anything!” He exclaimed, but was nonetheless delighted.

“You do?” She asked as she marveled at the high ceilings and grey walls with white trim “You live here?”

“I pay the mortgage every month, so I would hope so.” He said with a shrug.

“It’s just,” She stammered “wow, really, really nice.”

“Thank you.” He said with a smile “Dinner isn’t quite ready yet, so we can chill that wine and I’ll give you the tour.”

“Sure.” She said with a huge smile. They walked past a set of stairs, through the living room and dining room and into a huge kitchen with a large island in the middle of it.

“Wow,” She said as she looked around, marveling at the granite counter tops, sleek modern appliances and solid hardwood floors. It smelled phenomenal, like an Italian restaurant “wow, this is a HELL of a kitchen.”

“I’m not usually in here much,” he admitted “but when I am, it’s not too bad.”

He got the wine from her hands and she asked

“What did you make again?”

“Chicken tortellini,” He said “with a white wine sauce.”

“YUM,” she said “that sounds amazing!”

He took her through the house, while holding her hand; showing her the gym, his office, the pool and his bedroom.

“What’re these other rooms?” She asked

“Guest rooms,” he said “Jared takes up residence every once in a while.”

“So you guys are best friends huh?” She asked.

“Yep,” Jensen said with a proud smile “we met in college and have been best friends ever since then. He’s kind of like my little brother.”

“Aw,” She said and squeezed Jensen’s hand “that’s sweet.”

Jensen gave her a grin and squeezed her hand back.

“You hungry?” He asked “I’m pretty sure dinner is ready by now.”

They made their way down to the kitchen where they served themselves and Jensen opened the bottle of wine she’d brought, pouring both of them a glass. She took a bite of the food and, much to her surprise, it was delicious. She told him so, which made him smile.

“Thank you,” He said “glad you like it.”

After dinner, they made their way into the living room where they sat and talked, just like they always did. The only difference this time was that he was able to reach out and hold her hand or touch her knee, which she enjoyed. She intertwined her fingers with his, letting her thumb run over the back of his hand.

“You have very small hands,” he commented and she laughed “seriously, you do!”

“Says the guy with bear paws he calls hands!” She exclaimed and he laughed “I’m a little girl, of course my hands are gonna be little!”

“And I’m a big guy.” he commented.

“Which means big gloves.” She shot back and he rolled his eyes.

“That was SO bad!” He said with a shake of his head, in spite of the fact that he was grinning broadly.

“You’re smiling so it’s not that bad.” She reminded him as their fingers laced together again.

“I’m smiling at how bad it was.” He told her as he pulled her close.

“You like it.” She told him as she slid right next to him.

“I SUPPOSE I do.” he said as he cupped her face in his free hand.

“You do,” she told him and grinned “I can tell.”

He nodded, leaned in and kissed her tenderly. She sighed into his mouth as they kissed again and again. She arched into him, pressing her body closer to his. He let his hand roll down her body, where it settled on her hip. He tugged her into his lap and she swung her leg over, straddling him as she placed her hands on his chest.

“You okay?” He asked as he tightly gripped her hips.

“I’m fine,” she practically moaned into his mouth “this is perfect.”

He pulled back and smiled before going back in and kissing her. She slid her hands to his shoulders and then up, where she cupped his face in her hands and she grinned as his beard scratched her palms. His hands slid down to her rear where he gripped her meaty ass.

“Fuck,” he moaned into her mouth “you have the hottest ass.”

“Mh, you mean that handsome?” She asked him.

“Every word.” He said as he gripped her ass again, making her moan into his mouth.

“Okay.” Jensen said, still looking concerned.

Jensen's throat went dry, he had a feeling this conversation was coming. He swallowed as best as he could and then sat down.

“I'm sorry,” she apologized “I didn't make you mad did I?”

“No,” he said as he shook his head “come sit.” he said and motioned for her to sit by him. She did and he said “I'm not sure how to say this either, but I'll be honest with you. That's okay right?”

“I'm not ready for a commitment.” he told her.      

Allie’s heart sank. She sighed and said

“I’m not asking for hearts and rainbows every day, I just need to know that I’m the only one you’re seeing.”

He nodded

“Yes, you are the only one,” he said “I’m just not sure if I’m ready for the boyfriend and girlfriend thing is all.”

“Can I ask why?” She asked him.

He wrung his hands and took a deep breath

“I was in a relationship,” he started “for six years and when that ended it was really hard on me. I’m finally in a place where I feel I could be someone’s boyfriend again, I’m just not one hundred percent sure, and I want to be before I risk hurting you.”

As much as his words stung, Allie could appreciate them, at least he was not leading her on.

“Okay,” She said “well that feels like a punch in the gut, but I appreciate your honesty.”

“Is that something you can work around?” He asked “At least for now?”

Allie felt torn, potentially give up this amazing man or just go with it and see it through?

“Is it fair to say that I don’t know?” She asked him.

He nodded.

“It is,” he said “I can’t blame you or be angry for you not being sure.”

“I’m willing to try,” she told him “I’m not sure how it’s gonna work, but I’ll try it.”

He gave her a wry smile and said

“I’m not sure when or if I’ll ever get there,” and reached for her hand, which she gave him “but if and when I do, I’d want it to be with you.”

She smiled and steeled away how she really felt. That raw and powerful emotion she felt for him would have to be put in the back of her mind behind a hard, iron door. She slowly shoved it where it belonged as he leaned in and kissed her. His lips were so warm and plush, his arms so strong and secure, she knew that even if the heartbreak was coming would come, she could at least be content for now.
