Build-Up

Okay so i made up lore for this escape room:

It's an abandoned hotel, decorated all fancy, theres old couches, fake rotary phones and a bunch of weird symbols used later in the puzzles.

It's really colorful but the theres barely any lightning because the vibes need to be settled, theres a lot of puzzles, including: puns, math and the weird symbols mentioned

The lore starts as a hotel shutting down after a serial killer takes over & goes on a massacre, theres a time limit of 2 hours, when the time is over the game is done & a dude with a really bad voice effect says "the killer has got you" Before the doors open

When theres only a few minutes left, a buzzing sound effect plays

Theres a lot of "fake" spiderwebs with cryptid texts too so enjoy that

Glass Joe

- struggling with the puzzles, his brain is melting

- "we have to turn on the TV for clues i think"

- "or a baking show"

- "either way im watching"

- hes not taking this seriously, at all

- keeps using a prop phone like its real & talking on it, ended up getting into a argument with the air

- laying down on the decorative couches "draw me like one of your french girls.." style when hes tired

- complete opposite with Joe, hes taking this seriously, too serious

Disco Kid

- Just bored, he got dragged along and doesnt feel like doing anything

- "does the TV have anything interesting on it"

- "Disco we are being chased by a evil serial killer i dont think you should be so calm"

- escape rooms dont have enough charm for him like haunted houses

- doing cartwheels across the room, accidentally knocked over a bookshelf and revealed a clue

- doesnt have any idea whats going on, hes just confused

- doesnt know whether to help kaiser or laugh with Joe

- thinks the argument between Joe and the air is real

- hes so lost

- him & hondo are peacefully doing puzzles while everyone else is going apeshit, hes having fun

- re-organized the bookshelf disco kid slammed down on, he knows damn well they dont get paid enough for this bs

- cheering Joe on his fight with the atoms

- cleaning up behind everyone because hes a decent person

Don Flamenco

- very confused, he thinks theyre all stuck in a silly room for nothing, cannot do puzzles & cannot be silly at all

- Just wandering around & looking for clues

- hes concerned, not only for the boxers but the employees

- hes just following everyone around like a sick puppy

- sad that he cant bring his soda but understands because he has spilled soda multiple times on his stuff and suffered the consequences

- awkward shrugging anytime someone asks him whats going on

Bald Bull

- also hysterically laughing with aran, bad lightning with cheap horror music fits too well for him

- him & aran are cackling at kaiser knowing damn well they both need therapy

- Just having fun

- He doesnt give a shit about anything right now, this is one of the only times he can maniacally laugh at thin air and not get stared at

- was the one to convince disco kid to do a cartwheel

Super Macho Man

- pretending to understand whats going on, Just as confused as soda

- Really bored

- not much to say, hes just.. neutral

- Really calm & carrying the entire team

- concerned for aran & bull since he was the only one to notice them maniacally cackle at thin air

- suprisingly not ready to punch someone out into orbit

- extremely worried for disco's bones because no one throws a entire bookshelf onto themselves and walks away fine

- brought a camera to get some real gems

- keeps coughing like hes on life support because of the ridiculous amount of dust

Extra

They made it out suprisingly thanks to hondo & sandman (barely)

Don realized he has some problems with his lungs after that trip because holy shit he was fighting for his life

Sandman convinced aran & bull to go to therapist (somehow)

Joe enjoyed taking out his anger out on a cheap fake rotary phone

Disco needed to go to the hospital after the bookshelf incident, no one is letting the fact that he broke his back thanks to a bookshelf go

Piston Hondo & bear hugger do sudoku together now since they realized they both enjoy math puzzles

Great Tiger still laughs about the bookshelf incident at night when trying to sleep

Okay about how long did Entrapta and Hordak know each other as in personally interacting. They met on s2 after Catra told Entrapta to stay away from Hordak. From then since Catra getting sentenced to death it was how long, a week? Then the entire season 3 takes place within idk, a couple of days?

I just consider this fact when people say that they're gonna like totally get married now that they reunited. Same with Scorfuma.

As for how long they knew each other, I can actually give you a pretty good timeline

"Huntara", the ep where they actually became friends for real and Hordak got his armor change, that was 135 days after they started working together in "Signals". Then give it a couple of weeks before "Moment of Truth".

Beast Island was AT LEAST six months bare minimum, Prime's Invasion (the time Scorpia and Perfuma knew each other) was 3 months bare minimum, both were most likely longer.

It's hard to estimate. Some stories take place a couple eps apart, like "The Sword" and "Flowers for She-ra", and then Adora will try to use a code that "hasn't been in use for MONTHS" and that's supposed to imply shes been gone for months?

But yeah with Entrapta and Hordak in particular they absolutely spent more time ripped apart than working together. They were only just figuring out the shape of their friendship. Scorpia and Perfuma were also ripped apart before they could make sense of what their relationship was either.

But I actually really like that, because these characters were impacted so strongly by that brief time they were connecting, it had basically changed them. They both try to go back to how things were before they became friends - Entrapta isolating herself with tech in the portal and on the island, Hordak hiding in his lab then trying to be a good boy for Prime - and they can't stand it. By their standards it would've been bliss for them at the start of the show, but now it feels so empty. And even though they have painful reason to believe their friendship was fake, or it’s an obstruction in the way of greater plans, they can’t let it go. They spend the rest of the show trying to connect with other people (Bow, Catra), and seeking each other out. They don't need to know what their connection is in order to understand it's there.

As for Perfuma and Scorpia, what I really love about this relationship is Perfuma can see the value in Scorpia that nobody else really acknowledged before. Yeah, Scorpia was loved by Catra and Entrapta, but those two weren't able to---- okay maybe I shouldn't have mentioned them because I'm actually angry at Scorpia's lack of good interactions with them in season 5. But my point is that Perfuma was put-together and assertive enough to be the missing half of Scorpia, to REALLY support her and give her encouragement for how hard she's been working for her friends this whole time. And likewise, Scorpia is the symbol of tolerance and love that had been missing from Perfuma. 

So yeah, as "undefined" as these relationships are, theyre still really good. I can see why everyone would jump on them.

I mean, you also have word of god pairing them together, what can people say against that? Of course the fans will ship them if the Showrunner is suggesting they hook up. Not that I'm particularly interested in Word of God since it can be bad, wrong, and overruled.

1. its victim blaming of hades to tell minthe its HER fault she "couldnt get over him". like? you lied to her! youre the one who blurred the lines to date her! you were just as toxic to her if not more so by controlling where she lives and her job, all while never defending her to your cruel family! you had all the power over her while she had nothing! you dumped her for a 19 year old and dont care she crippled minthe! i wont excuse minthe's actions, but hades is ultimately the worse of the two IMO

2. you know why fans claimed "Minthe should've reacted better"? since the first episode Rachel has been drilling into their heads Minthe is an irredeemable monster, and her not bending over backwards to H/P means she deserves the absolute worst. Minthe reacting how anyone logically would doesn't matter when LO is designed to coddle H/P, and anyone against them must suffer for it, even if the victim to H/P's actions. they never wanted her to be "redeemed", they want her head on a silver platter.

3. i know this is not what she intended bc the only characterization rachel has of hxp is "the best over everything" but uh, does she know having hades control all the petroleum and gasses and whatever else is actively destroying the planet, right? like hes helping the very thing persephone draws her power from and what she's connected to be destroyed to appease hes need for wealth and power. its kinda gross hes being romanticized while he commits horrible acts like this for his bank account.

4. its not impossible to go opposite in their original myth personalities and still have it work. like in hades game, sisyphus is one of the most likable characters, achilles is gentle and kind, ares is calm and rational, etc, but it makes sense within the context of the story. LO in comparison goes "all these loving mothers are evil because i said so! this beloved god is now evil because i said so! minthe is evil because i said so!" and that's about it in terms of logic to these wild changes.

5. I can kinda get behind anon's theory about the flower nymphs looking like P to help her be undetected, the problem is there are also unrelated women in comic who are bright pink and look just like her, with hades even confusing them for her! if i had to bet the only reason they look like that is because rachel just wanted daphne to look like her to hammer home apollo is "obsessed" with P and to fake them as her "real family" over demeter. also just laziness in designing characters in general.

6. its weird hades and persephone are well aware what they're doing is bad even openly admitting it and yet the narrative is so hellbent on excusing their bad actions?? like hades being the major toxic factor in his relationship to minthe, persephone killing people, or hades wanting to bone an eternal 19 year old? like rachel you know thats not how character growth works, right? you cant show they have horrible flaws and leave them to never grow and learn from it, that's not good writing at all.

7. what i also dont get is the hierarchy makes no sense? like zeus is framed as the top god, but that would mean hades cant be the most important man ever so rachel also made him equal rank with zeus (and i guess poseidon too) so?? how does zeus have all that power over them then if theyre all equal? is it because zeus swallowed metis?  also how are the fertility goddess so powerful and rare yet so easily taken down? how are they overpowered and super weak at the same time? i just dont get it.

8. Re reading chapter 144 and other anon is right we do see the pomegranate pin on Hades outfit (so Hades gifts it to her)

But also some things to note

During the makeout session persy begins to disappear in butterfly form and hades is like "no don't leave!" And he grabs her, preventing her from leaving. Which is..kinda Ick considering they were on their way to having (public) sex and he doesn't want her to leave which seems like he's not really respecting her boundaries? (because if she does he'll "be lonely")

The pomegranate pin is Hades' to begin with so technically one of Persephones symbols is not hers (yes I know in the original myth she ate it in the underworld / was forced to eat it but still its supposed to be her symbol)

So, this variety of people gather for big wedding number two in less than five years for the same bride,,different groom. It looked like a political conference with the level of security and who was there. Why did they attend, as far as l know the paper said they weren’t part of the evening prepared, l didn’t see them there in the photos from that evening. They were at the wedding, why? If you’re all close friends why not go to the fun bit and socialize, have a few drinks and a dance. I’ll tell you why BECAUSE THEYRE NOT A COUPLE THATS TOGETHER, it’s a charade. There must have been some reason they went, especially l enjoyed the cheeky photo of Harry where he SOUGHT out the camera and grinned. That told this girl all l need to know. Something was up, and we may never know what the agenda was but something was up!

Well l could say the stolen name SmartSets was a collection of things that fit a very select few and a bag, that cost more than the clothes that the fit on was terrible. We had a case, few years ago where l live, they wanted to build a casino in part of a local pub. Our city had a by-law preventing gambling and alcohol on sale in the same establishment. Our Harry, walks alone, many in the public have been so critical of him, they can’t see the truth or haven’t taken the time to inform themselves. … Cape Town closure

They officially closed the Cape atone part of the tour and flew out September 29,2019. I was going to say today but l know this is a worldwide blog so l thought l would put that in there. The itinerary has them leaving from Johannesburg, and returning to London. I am sure most of Cape Town citizens had no idea they were there, if they did, no one cared really.

The return flight, again commercial l am sure, back to London should be interesting. you were really broke and desperate, youd already accepted it

the guy running the haunted house came in and let you guys in so you didnt pay admission and quickly sat you down at some tables and told you you could do the makeup yourself or got someone else to

you, feeling daring and thinking fuck it, im gonna make the haunted house goers shit their pants, decided to do your own makeup

to pair with your blue nightgown you simply gave yourself extremely dark and sullen eyes with the power of purple eyeshadow, you paled out your lips and gave yourself a lil nosebleed, and on top of that you painted a random creepy looking symbol on your forehead in blood, blackening it our a little with an eyeliner pen to make it seem like it was cut open.

you were lowkey proud of your work

okay now it was show time, you were briefed on where in the house you could stay and you were told how to act and basic rules (no touching, get help if theyre freaking out too much, etc)

so now, you were in the dimly lit narrow hallways of this makeshift house when you heard the tell tale screams of your housemate meaning theres a group coming and theyd just attempted to jump scare them

you hid behind a black sheet, disguised as a wall, before your victims came up through your hallway

you heard some talk of “felix you know its fake, calm down.” before you saw some shadows pass by

the group was big, maybe 10 people? you werent sure, but you went forward with your plan anyway

just after theyd passed your hiding place, you stepped out from behind them and stood idly and innocently in the centre of the corridor before you put your head down and started whistling a nursery rhyme

you heard a few gasps and a few squeaks before you looked up with an unreadable expression

you saw them looking at you and some of the guys ushered some of the others away though one guy stood there looking at you strangely

you just tilted your head at him before taking your OPERATION: SCARE mission a step farther

bringing your hands up to your ears you let out a ear piercing scream and squeezed your eyes shut before running through the group and turning the corner at the end of the small corridor

you heard a soft what the fuck was that and a less soft language! before you turned and waited for them to turn the corner

as they were walking up the corridor however (theyd resolved to moving with just shuffles of their feet) you heard a new voice speak up. it was somewhat playful and honeydew like, especially with the phrase “not gonna lie, they were really fucking pretty.” which was followed by a chorus of “miNHO”’s and “thIs iS NoT The TiME bUddY” and “i think felix is crying”

you were taken aback

did he mean that? was that the one looking at you earlier? what the frick?

you were still blanking out, completely flabbergasted even when the group turned the corner

of course, you were unprepared, you planned to scream a loud “GET OUT!” to them but all that left your mouth was a squeak as you met eyes with the stranger again, red flushing up your neck

you ran away quickly, ducking into one of the rooms dressed up to look like a metal asylum holding centre

you slowly inched towards the doorway of the small room you were in, the flashing light behind you somewhat hindering your senses as you peeked through the shredded and knotted white sheet hanging from the top of the doorway but you couldnt see anyo-

“BOO!” “HOLY SHIT WHAT THE FUCK” you scReAmed and jumped backwards, only to hear some cakcling from behind the sheet where the boy from earlier had appeared

suddenly you realised you were staring and he was standing right in front of you

along the way he slinked his fingers through yours and placed them in the pocket of his big parka coat, smiling at you as you ducked your head to look at the ground, where youd started kicking your feet out extra to distract yourself from the affectionate gesture and calm the burning of your cheeks

when you arrived at your house, you fought over who should eat the leftover fairy floss.

you viciously shoved it into his hand, 

“you paid for it and you walked me home even though its late and cold, you keep it.”

Phone guy is genuinely a character in this lmao. hes more or less like... touch tone telephone but a person and hes looking into all the shit thats gone down at freddys and at some point he actually visits the pizzeria and realizes that “oh shit thats the owners kid?? but in my research he died???? huh????” (also while talking to mike on the phone mike straight up does imagine him w a phone for a head and is like “oh right youre just.. some guy” when they meet face to face)

purple guy Doesnt exist (i never really liked him tbh and a lot of the stuff that had to deal with him just didnt make sense???) Instead, purple guy is more or less what everyones imagingig when they think of the guy who started all this mess, at least until they find out about Hnery and William

okay Listen : dark hair william and mike, but mike had his hair bleached for a while (bc teenager), but it grows out and stuff and the band all realize “oh shit you look like william-” (this is jsut a personal preference, i’ve never been fond of them being blonde)

William was a bit unstable prior to the whole springtrap thing But he was like evil, just grieving and upset (bc of the fire).

holds up the puppet* you get to be a character too. theyre shy and arent found for a few arcs, probably is found at around the time of the ennard stuff. 

Glitchtrap and William are separate entities, Glitchy just being a lil shit ai who occasionally does stuff that genuinely evil rather than just mean spirited.

okay listen i was always confused on the whole ‘springtrap and scraptrap exist at the same time’ thing, so to make it a bit easier to understand, william is springtrap while henry is fredtrap (just fredbear but fucky wucky yknow) (william loses the arm like scraptrap, but it during the course of the story instead of the like 10 years he was rotting in the factory) This is mainly because it helps discern the two and like... symbolism

for other characters designs tht i didnt mention last time : - Chica is the second tallest at 6′10″,is Very Strength, has lil wings/feathers under her arms, and a bird tail (with minor patterning). She wears a full apron instead of just the bib, tho it still says let’s eat and has lil stars over it. She has a lil chef hat she wears while recording for her youtube channel. - Foxy is the shortest of the band at 6′4″, naturally has the big ol fluffy tail, and is damaged at the start of the series like in canon. He has a lil priate outfit, its cute, plus a fake sword on his hip. Has earrings n stuff. (star accents somewhere idk) - William (as a human) is 5′6″, and is decently muscular from working with heavy metal and stuff for most of his career (tho you wouldnt realize it by just looking at him, since he wears kinda loose clothes). Ties his hair into a pony tail like his son, has a bit of stubble that refuses to grow into an actual beard. Has the same blue eyes as his son, naturally (bc plot point). Looks a lot like him face and nose shape wise and also has the freckles.  Wears just button up shirts with the sleeves rolled up. Doesnt have stars in his design (since hes not an animtronic) (rest later, scraptrap, henry, fredtrap, puppet, golden freddy, phone guy, etc.)
