sometimes I wonder why nobody ever notices the tardis when it makes that sound but then I think about that time me and my mom heard a weird banging noise outside and asked each other what it was but didn't actually get up to check for another 10 minutes and it turns out the dog had grabbed one of those black plastic tube hose things and was dragging it around the yard and up and down the porch steps but it could have been anything and people just really don't care that much
I forgot how hilarious The Juror #6 job is. The episode opens with Nate trying to socialize his crime daughter by having her do civil service. "There is not some evil conspiracy lurking behind the curtain of every routine civic activity." *four minutes later* "Uh, apparently there is an evil conspiracy lurking behind the curtain of every routine civic activity." Brent Spiner plays a hippie spiritualist pharmacist. We have to get Parker from thinking hiding knives in food is a good prank to having her charm an entire room of people. The kids leave for the day and Nate and Sophie line up at the door; they hand Hardison his briefcase, Parker her sacked lunch, and they present Eliot with the exciting news that today is the day he is going to be hit with a car.
That was cute but creepy. And Sam feeling like he has to save as many people as possible to prepare for if he goes evil! Then him making Dean promise to kill him if he does 😭.
Knowing that what is most likely the zillo beast is roaming around that shipwreck and that he gets a suspicious amount of attention in all the episodes of season 2….
It was not a hard decision to make to take Ketil farm. If Canute was being honest this was something he had been planning long before this. Originally he had planned to wait until after the coronation, but he could work with this.
It is not hard to convince his men that it is worthwhile. A simple thing of requisition. That is only part of the truth. For amongst all the gold and land, there was a treasure tucked away on that farm far more valuable than it all.
Just a bit longer and he would never have to wake up a another morning cold. Soon Thorfinn would be his again.
“the desert” fcks me up every time i watch it bc afaik it's the first time aang hurts a living being for revenge (not using the avatar state). like yeah, it's an “unlikeable” vulture wasp. it was made “ugly” and we're supposed to hate it bc they're all attacking the gaang “for no reason”. but they're literally just animals doing their thing. they're not inherently evil or anything. just critters living their lives, attacking those that quite literally (tho unknowingly) invaded their home.
and aang, after freeing momo from its grip, just takes it down for the sheer satisfaction of it. it was spite and anger and he probably actually killed it? at the v least, aang knocks it unconscious, but the fall could have v well killed it.
and ??? he completely forgets about it afterwards, and it fcks me up always bc that was dark af. that was a v scary look at the avatar if he was a bad guy. unfeeling, cold murderer.
