Operation Olive Branch is a continuously updating spreadsheet of Palestinian escape funds where progress towards their goals is being tracked. As of right now, there are over 100 funds listed there.

Any amount of money can make a difference. With their recent decision to bomb Rafah, the only remaining “safe” territory in Gaza, Israel has forced Palestinians into a corner by giving them nowhere else to go. The international community has given Israel the ability to act with impunity - it is long past the point in time to rely on those in power to hold Israel to any standard of compassion.

Today, I want you to look at this document, choose a fund, contribute to it, and share it. The people in Rafah are living on borrowed time. Free Palestine.

I will say I get the vibe that a lot of peoples interest and support for strikers is a bit too much for a vicarious ‘burn it down’ thrill, rather than for the actual goals of a strike.

Like UPS has agreed to come back to the table and it is very possible they will concede to Union demands and avert a strike. And if that happens (so long as the union does not make concessions on its key demands) it’s a good thing. It’s a victory for the laborers. It is the same ultimate conclusion that a strike would intend to produce except without the workers having to go on (not so great) strike pay for a week or two.

Time to do that notes game ig bc I really need to have motivation to finish all my outstanding things:

10 notes and I’ll animate 1 yttd vine (for every 50 notes I will animate another yttd vine until there are 50 vines)

25 notes and I’ll get rid of the dead plant in my room (and grow a sunflower in there instead)

75 notes and I’ll clean my desk

100 notes and I’ll finish making Dumb and Stupid Bird (my polymer figurine)

150 notes and I’ll finally paint the stop sign in my room that’s been hiding under my bed for six months

200 notes and I’ll reconstruct and mount the bird skulls that have been sitting on my desk also for months

250 notes and I’ll try to smash out the tattdok plot without procrastinating forever

500 notes and I’ll finish playing at least one of the three pokemon games I’ve been halfway through for ages

750 notes and I’ll start going on a walk every day

1k notes and I’ll dust my room (please no. I hate dusting so much)

1.25k and I’ll make sure I do one daily Teki request every day (starting from the oldest) until the inbox is empty

1.5k notes and I’ll finish all the danganronpa games I’ve been meaning to finish for years just for completionists’ sake really

2k notes and I’ll actually start learning rpgmaker

2.5k notes and I’ll make sure I finish every other incomplete game I have

3k notes and I’ll start actually researching on animation courses for next year

100k notes and I’ll animate a dungeon meshi version of out of touch thursday (thank god this will never happen)

re: that fucking staff post. obviously death to algorithms, but i also wanna interrogate the wider underlying assumptions of their logic there cuz. is 'success' having lots of followers & lots of popular posts??? why is that the end goal of using this website. i don't open tumblr to get attention from strangers, i open tumblr to read funny jokes and interesting commentary and to see cool art. encouraging clout-chasing will only increase user engagement if you successfully get people literally addicted to the associated dopamine hit. what if we didn't have to do that!!! what if a website could be a place you went to on purpose because you had fun there!!!!

Clothing rules for sluts

At least one pink article of clothing

whole body should be clean-shaven

no tennis shoes

no regular socks, its either stockings or none

no long pants, only shorts

the inseam on your shorts should be 3 inches or less

panties should not be worn with shorts

skirts must be micro skirts, the shorter the better

panties worn with skirts should be string thongs

you get used to it, but it's tiring, because they need you to understand your own life as a series of goalposts. what college are you going to, what's your major going to be, whatcha gonna do with that, oh where will you settle down, when can i expect grandkids.

for the longest time my goals have been so blurry that they track into each other, their undefined edges slipping quietly back into the soft night. today i want to be a writer; tomorrow i will want to be a doctor, later i will wish i took that law school free ride. how the fuck do people just know what they want to do with their life?

where do you want to be in five years? i want to be alive; which is a huge step for me. ten years ago i would have said i want to be asleep and meant i hope that i'm dead by then.

but i want a yellow kitchen and a stand mixer. i want a garden and a fruit tree (cherry, if i can make that happen) and a big yard for my dogs to play in. i want to come home and read poetry out loud to someone and have them close their eyes to listen. i want a summer watergun fight. i want to make snowmen. i want to be the house to go to for halloween. i want my life to settle around me in a softness, for it to lay down gently. if i am very, very, very lucky, i want to travel; finally go someplace overseas.

of course i don't know what i want to be doing professionally. what i actually want to be doing is curling up beside my dog, settling in to read. i want to be making myself a cup of good coffee.

i can't answer the other questions. whenever people asked me what do you want to be when you grow up, i used to say i hope i'm happy.

i hope i'm still kind, five years from now. i hope i never get jaded and mean. i hope i have stayed in therapy. what do you picture yourself doing? when will you actually be an adult about this? why are you so afraid of being ambitious?

am i not ambitious? the other day i rearranged my furniture which doesn't quite fit into my apartment. i watered my plants. i'm going to try to propagate a cherry seed. my five year goal is to spend more time laughing. to lie down in a patch of sunwarm moss. to relax for a minute. to close my eyes and think oh thank god. this is why i stayed. this is finally it.
