edwin is a better, stronger man than i, because i would be infinitely more dramatic and petty in his position when crystal enters the scene and charles starts paying attention to her. i would have comic!edwin’s reaction at least (accusing charles of choosing girls over him, storming off to solve cases on his own and deciding to do shit that will get him into trouble so that charles has to come rescue him, etc) but i’d probably take it a step further. i’d be like “i guess you want me to go back to hell then since i’m basically nothing to you 😒” and then i’d legitimately go back to hell JUST to see if he came after me. if he didn’t come after me then an eternity of torture in hell is nothing compared to the pain of rejection and being replaced. but i’m also incredibly mentally ill, so.

you don't know that for God knows how long, a demon has been using you as its puppet to traumatise someone. using your mouth to manipulate, threaten and abuse.

are you told any of this? do you really want to be? of course, you should be made aware of the extent of what's happened to you. you have the right to know why you're so far from home, why you can't remember the past weeks, perhaps even months. but would it be better if you didn't? could you handle the truth? could you live with it afterwards?

you have been forced to act as the villain in someone's horror story. it's your face that a girl you don't recognise sees in her nightmares.

it's not even clear if the very name "David" belongs to the demon or yourself.

not sure if anyone’s mentioned this yet but in the last episode, Van and Tai talk about rigging the cards and Van mentions that she rigged it once so that Crystal got the shit bucket duty.

This means Crystal got the queen card and not long after she literally died while on shit bucket duty… Literally everyone who gets the queen card dies at some point (nat got it in s2 and died in the adult timeline) so it wouldn’t surprise me if we see Lottie getting the queen card at some point during season 4.

Jareth had already planned to stand with the Seven, but the sudden rush of power nearly makes him fumble the crystal he is toying with. Percy blinks up at him from his spot half perched on his lap, dozing, seemingly content to bask in Jareth’s warmth now that they are together again. For however long that may be. Already Jareth can sense his lover’s friends drawing near. Ready to sweep him away into another battle.

“You’ve never dropped a crystal.”

Jareth holds the crystal that he hadn’t dropped despite his momentary lapse closer to the boy’s face, huffing a laugh when those sea green eyes crossed to keep in in view. “I still haven’t, brat. I was simply… taken by surprise.”

Percy blinks, pushing the crystal back to look in his eyes.

“My friends,” Percy says slowly, “are praying to my boyfriend.”

“I assume they think I’m the only divine force that won’t ‘fuck it up’ as you would put it.”

Percy’s laughter is a balm to his soul. There, with his lover back in his arms and the sound of his joy filling their borrowed room in the Roman Camp, Jareth says a prayer of his own. Not to any particular force, any gods he may have once looked to are long since dead and gone, but to the very strings of Fate themselves.

Genuinely can't get behind Kris fans that hate Lyra. Like, if anyone, I dislike Gold/Ethan for always getting the spotlight that neither girl ever gets. He's always shown as the protag and even gets featured in stuff praising Crystal Version when this should be my girl's singular time to shine.

I would infinitely prefer to play a game with both my girls than have Kris deal with that spotlight stealing jerk any more than she already has to. Hasn't he overshadowed her long enough? The next game with Kris as protag, there should be no choice but to play as a girl.
