So! You know how tears deliberately put himself is stardew during that one fic? Well, I had a thought… what if it was an accident.

What if he was just scanning through all your code and games trying to find a way to get out… and just accidentally plopped himself into another game on accident? Whether the game being stardew like your fic, or maybe just your “favorite” game because of all the hours you’ve played it. (Hastily hiding the log that says I have almost 1,000 hours in Genshin impact) and then he accidentally got stuck? I’m sure the coding and stuff in a game he isn’t from would be different than his own, so what if he made a minor (big) booboo and got stuck in another game?

I think he'd be simply torn apart if that were to happen :c he was so so close to finally being at your side properly and now he's stuck in an entirely unfamiliar place essentially back in square one? It's soul-crushing for him.

I am actually yoinking your genshin log because while I have not played it myself some of the less cult focused sagau is what got me hooked on the au concept (if I could remember who I would tag but I can't sadly - it was like 2/3 years back now)

He has things in common with aether/lumine, potentially enough even to come to an alliance to share you. They're both stranded from another world into teyvat, and they're both the player character who keeps being put through more shit than they signed up for - even if they're a little jealous of each other or have a rivalry about play times between them. It could work depending on how desperate they both are to get out.

There are also a couple other characters that I could see tears being friends with, although I'm not entirely certain if he'd be able to if they're after you too (besides the mc) - Venti is one that I could potentially see, with how tears acts towards freedom plus the fact that he spends so much time in the air? plus apples and golden apples. I think that could catch his attention.

Also albedo. Science buddies, need I say more? If I'm going off of the fics I have read he's looking for a way out too so to meet someone from another game who was so impossibly close? ofc he's going to grill him for answers, and I think that's why tears would originally get so close - before seeing what he's capable of with alchemy, and starting to mess with what could happen between that and zonai tech. (anddddd now I wanna see tears in an albedo cosplay damn it :()

I've been in a Batfamily mood again, and now I wanna remake my Moon Knight x Batman crossover AU cause it has been rotting my brain since November and THIS was the only thing I have ever made for it, asjdksajdkla

Some details, to let my Brainrot Out:

Listen, I know we all love adding our favorite characters into the Batfamily because that group ABSOLUTELY needs more trouble and unhinged behavior, but like. This isn't just adding another kid into the family. This is adding Marc, Steven, AND Jake.

Why does every crossover character have to be the youngest addition?? Why Not the OLDEST addition?? Revoke that Eldest Child License from Dick, imagine THIS: Marc would be around three years older than Dick, and while he would be Bruce's second ward, he would throw that shit around like the law. "Well, I'm older, so I get to pick the first character for Mario Party, and screw YOU, *I'M* choosing Peach!" type behavior

Dick: "Well, Bruce adopted me first so I was here before you, I get to play Peach!!"

Bruce is having a hard time figuring out how to go about this

Marc/Steve/Jake all adore Dick and would die for him. Killing is off of the table, unfortunately.

Everyone is supportive of Steven and Jake, treating Marc’s alters with respect! I love the idea of Bruce or Alfred giving them a journal so that they can keep up with which alter did what that day, and Dick giving them different colored bracelets so that they can tell which alter is fronting at the moment. The three of them actually having parental and sibling support, can I get a HELL YEAH!!

Marc/Steven/Jake being adopted by billionaire Bruce Wayne after running away from home and not having any upfront memories of how he got to Gotham, but knowing that he doesn’t want to go back to his abusive mom and his negligent dad. Emergency Custody is a hell of a drug!

I have no idea how stuff goes down until Jason gets taken in, so consider this instead: Jake and Jason arguing about the morality of killing. Steven and Jason reading together. Marc and Jason doing competitive training. Think about it. Let the thoughts infest you.

Marc and Jake: "I'm not doing free babysitting!"

Steven: "I will, though!"

Steven and Alfred bonding while cooking and Steve is infodumping about his current research project, doN'T TOUCH ME

Cass joins the family early too, because I say so. And Cass wouldn't need the bracelets to see who is fronting in that moment, she would KNOW, and she will either: pester Marc, love on Steven, or pester Jake.

Cass would adore Steven.

We don't talk about the big explosive Elephant in the Room just yet, nope, so instead consider this: Tim coming in and realizing that Moon Knight really is just Like That. Marc would say, "Another one?? Really??" Steve would say "This one is smart and adds onto my research and just spoke to me for 8 hours straight about arthropods, I have found my new real brother", Jake would say "He's a little stalking freak, I like him already"

Jake and Damian is a brotherly match made in hell. Watch the fuck out.

Just. Just Listen to me...just listen...why wouldn’t a morally grey vigilante by the name of Moon Knight NOT fit the bat motif???

Also, Marc/Steve/Jake would get the Moon Knight powers either as a meta-human with a connection to the Egyptian god, Avatars being able to be chosen at birth, or getting them super early through weird means! I think it'd be neat!

Yup! Though by the time I'm done writing it it feels dry as the Sahara and textbook dull, I can only hope it reads better and that I'm just jaded after spending ages working on it

I've done fusions, but not a crossover. Not yet!

Never been asked! I've had art made for fic, and someone wanted to do a podfic version of one, but never translated.

Absolutely not!! I'm too much of a control freak and if my procrastination and oh-so-slow writing annoys me, it'd enrage even the calmest of co-writers! I wouldn't do that to an innocent person!

Honestly, I have favourite ships in a fandom, but narrowing down a favourite of all of them, I don't think I can!!! Cop out answer FTW!

15. What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

While I never start a fic in the hope of maybe finishing it as I always start with the intention to finish, sometimes they end up so big, or are outside my sphere of limited talent that they peter out. I have 120k of a Night At The Museum type AU for Stucky that has sat on my hard-drive for nearly a decade, and I'm 65k into a OFMD fic that I'm determined to finish, but at the moment the OFMD is the far far more likely fic to see the light of day

16. What are your writing strengths?

Dialogue for sure. I can write whole fic that are just nothing but dialogue, and then I go back in and fill it out. The dialogue is the skeleton I work the rest onto

20. Favorite fic you've written?

The Man On The Wall is my baby. I wrote it twice so its my sweetheart. It was also a serious labour of love at 474,747 words (also I love how neat that word count is) very very close second is Life, Written and Illustrated By in the Merlin fandom. It was my first foray into Merthur and was part of a competitive pornathon and I won that weeks with it so huuuuge confidence boost for my writing

I've mentioned this in private before, but it's also important to have this "officially" on the blog, so!

Ghost's height is kinda fluid between universes, and changes a little bit depending on the crossover!

On average though, they usually tend to be somewhere around 1 to 2 feet tall (30 to 60cm), measured from the bottom of their feet to the flat part of their head (so, not including their horns. Those would add a bit of extra height).

Their Shade/Void form does look a little taller than regular Ghost, however! This is because one, their Void tendrils are actually a fair bit longer than their "cloak" is, and extend past their legs. So, while they would be the same height if you continued to measure them starting from their feet, when Ghost is in the air and those legs are pretty much completely obscured by their Void tendrils, you'd be more inclined to measure from the bottom of those tendrils instead, which adds a couple inches. Secondly, their ability to float probably also throws off others' perception of their height, since you wouldn't be looking down at them from on the ground and instead they can better match the eye level of whoever they're speaking to.

Some height examples are below, for those who are interested:

For their regular Hollow Knight verses, I really don't care about specifics. We have their canonical height compared to all the other characters in the game, so I just base it off of that instead of coming up with specific measurements n shit. If my writing partner views the characters as being literally bug-sized, sure, whatever, we'll do that. If they think of them as being human-sized, that's fine too! Personally I'm a little inclined to think of Hallownest as being kinda like the Kirby universe, where everything is pretty small compared to the real world (since Kirby is canonically 8 inches tall, so we can base all of the other measurements off of that), but isn't at a microscopic level or anything. But overall I still don't care too much. And for OCs, you can just tell me, like, are they roughly Hornet-sized? Hollow-sized? Ghost-sized? Etc.

For crossovers like Smash Bros., where there's a lot of height variation among all the characters, Ghost is roughly Kirby-sized. So here, they'd be closer to the one foot mark. Tiny little Void god babies go brrrrr :). They're a little taller than Kirby though, even without the horns (since Kirby is a lot rounder than Ghost, so their extra height balances things out). I'd say Kirby reaches up to Ghost's eyes, but I haven't decided if that's the top of their eyes, just below them, or somewhere in between.

In Pokémon, Ghost is also closer to one foot, being somewhere around the height of a Phantump and a Mimikyu. Since that way, it'd still make sense for trainers to potentially mistake them as being one of those Pokémon (or at least some sort of variant of them). They'd be pretty big for a Mimikyu, but. Shhhh dgdgsh

Cookie Run is the main reason for Ghost's height changing so much asgshs. Here, they're closer to two feet tall, because when I'm writing primarily with an absolutely gigantic character, I don't really want tiny one-foot-tall Ghost to be nearly the size of the other muse's hand SGHSDGSF. So! Their height gets doubled here. I don't really see myself writing with too many other Cookie Run blogs, since I'm not actually in the fandom myself, but if I did, then maybe Ghost's height would vary a bit from mun to mun?? But I dunno.

With Hades, I'm still a little conflicted. I do think it'd be really cute if Zagreus could put Ghost on his shoulder or head, though. Like Pikachu in the Pokémon anime! So yeah, somewhere in the middle of the spectrum, maybe a little closer to two feet..?

I do think it would be neat to throw Ghost into the Undertale universe, especially since lately I've had more Thoughts about it than I have in years, but I'm not certain how tall I want Ghost to be there. I think some of my struggle comes from not knowing the heights of the canon characters. Like, I'd like to say that Ghost is between Frisk and Flowey's height, but if Flowey is as tall as a regular tiny flower, then that doesn't really mean anything. Maybe they'd be roughly half of Frisk's height? Since I can't imagine Frisk being more than four or five feet tall, and even then maybe less. And if we say Flowey is at least roughly one foot tall (or more), then yeah, I imagine Ghost would be slightly taller than him. So yeah, maybe 1.5 to 2 feet here? I dunno if they'd be the same height for Deltarune too, but. Probably.

Fandom fusion- bnha and fmab

hmm this sounds tricky.

i think the way that i would do it wouldn't be exactly original but it'd be like,, the classic kind of fmab crossover where ed gets yeeted into the other universe by truth when he bargains his alchemy to get al back. i just really enjoy those. i never get tired of them (also i feel like that being a thing that often happens in crossover fic can really be attributed to the way the original anime ended, which doesn't add anything to this ask but i think that's neat)

so ed gets yeeted into the bnha universe for a bit in exchange for al getting his body back. maybe truth was like hey can u deal with afo for me, he's a bit of a bitch and i don't like him.

i think ed lands in the universe maybe a bit into term, possibly after the hero killer arc. he ends up going to UA of course, though given how hard to get into UA apparently is he wouldn't be able to do that without any credentials. so nedzu obviously knows about his situation through circumstance and is letting him bide his time at this school until he can work out what it is that truth wants him to deal with. all might probably gets pulled into this after he begins to suspect that afo is alive and after that point ed has a clearer goal.

anyway ed is in gen ed, is terrified of hatsume mei and isn't gonna show her his automail ever thank you very much, and somehow ends up being befriended by izuku. he probably said he wasn't there to make friends lmao fucking idiot. and then when kamino happens he steps in to beat afo's ass up
