#it's a bit daunting

Some studies I did to test the brush options in Rebelle 5! Which I'd gotten when they did a big sale a couple years ago and completely forgot about, oops. I struggled a bit with the watercolour options– couldn't get the water simulation to behave how I wanted, but then again I suppose actual watercolours can be like that...

I probably won't use it too often– my computer is getting old and the program gets laggy if I'm using the internet or having too many layers at once and I like having too many layers. But it was fun to experiment and it's a neat tool to have, if I ever want to digitally draw something that looks more traditional :>

I'm kind of in love with the pencil brushes though... I've been looking for a good pencil brush on clip studio paint for so long without finding one that quite works for me, but these immediately felt really nice and intuitive. 

The reference for the first one is from pexels, but then I decided to use my own pictures for a change!

The focus was more on testing new things than absolute accuracy but here you gooo. First one by lil artsy on pexels!

god I feel like such a baby when it comes to TTRPGs. like i wanna have a fun lil' fantasy romp with my partners and hate WoTC so i made this campaign for P2E but i still feel like a kid? like "pfft this sucker hasn't played Keppler's Line, the TTRPG where you use 4 words to describe yourself as a character and all roll bonuses are based on your astrological sign" and it's like no yeah that does sound interesting and probably more complex / rewarding than a simple adventuring romp

but i kinda wanna do a stupid adventurey skeleton smashey game. ;x;

I thought I’d post some pictures of the Diabolik Lovers novelization that I’m translating right now! It was sold as a proper 小説 (しょうせつ, novel) and it’s about 300 pages and 12 chapters long, but as you can tell by the relative lack of long paragraphs, it’s still more like a light novel that heavily relies on your familiarity with the characters and their looks/voices through the anime and visual novels. The two pages of the running text in the second-to-last picture only amounted to about half a page in English (*´꒳`*) It’s been really fun to translate so far, so stay tuned for the next chapters!

If I were to hypothetically be writing a fic where the Curtis parents died years earlier and all three brothers were put in foster care, does anyone have opinions about it? Any details or timelines or plot points?

Who are the kids placed with? How do they meet the rest of the gang? Does it make sense and serve the plot for one of the boys to be placed at twobit's house? Or Steve's? When did Dallas arrive in Tulsa?

I have so many questions and no answers. I love making my own reality except when I have to actually make decisions
