I find it kind of charming that, since most of the Hermits don't use their real names, the ones that are less familiar with him seem to tend to call him a nickname based on SmallishBeans, rather than calling him Joel. It's just charming to me because they're doing what they're used to and respecting him and his privacy the way they know how

part of my nimona viewing experience. idk why but i got super emotional in the first five minutes.
