Why did Dad Lloyd is so liked right now? I get that he is caring for then and let them into a family but aren't they not much younger than him? They may not have any canonical age but I assume the age gap between Arin, Sora and Lloyd is somewhere around like Ninja and Lloyd maybe even a little smaller. Like even around 10 years it still is strange for me. I am into big brother Lloyd. He was always the youngest and now it's his time to be a cool big brother.

Besides Arin's parents are still alive. They are not dead just missing, trapped in one of these strange bubble thing. I am not sure he wants another parent, another family and brother's and sister's but it may feel bad for him to replace a parents. They seem like good parents also.

With Sora I think she isn't ready for parent like parent. Mother figure in Nya sounds nice but it may be something like mix of mother and big sister Energy.

And families don't need to be stereotypical. They are fond family with most of the time terrible parents, It possible non of them wants someone to be like typical parents so they are just siblings
