I just heard a lot of clacksons in the road perpendicular to my home. It's one of the access roads to the town, so I thought it may be the Pride parade or a wedding.

When I looked outside the window, I saw one of the lovely things you can see on a road, a Fiat 500 parade! (It makes sense. No wedding even passes this way, and the Pride is in Cagliari, probably on the road to the beach, that's pedestrian and great for parades)

I love Fiat 500 so much!

My mom had one when I was a child, white as snow, her name was Gigia.

My parents had to sell her because she wasn’t very good in the snow and she had no space for grocery and 4 children (myself, my brother and Alessandra and Dario, my cousins, mom take us to school and aunt Maria use to bring us home at noon)

My first car was a 500 L, 3 years older than me.

Whit my dad and brother we paint here a pale but brilliant copper, like a pudding mold.

I called her Paiolo (cauldron) and my brother and I used to go to the conventions, it was a lot of fun, like to be in a field full of colored candies!

When I had to move, 20 years ago, I could not take Paiolo with me. I had to let her at my parents place, whit the hope, one day, to be able to find a place where to keep her. Unfortunately I never cannot afford such a place and, 5 years ago, I had to sell her to a collector. 😢

It's very hot outside but I have to go and find where they are stopping for lunch and take a lot of photos!!!
