How would the Axis react to their s/o who loves being hugged getting some devastating news and instead of going to him for comfort like he expects they would, they do a complete 180 and scream, “don’t touch me!” when he tries to hug them and locks themself in the bathroom? What would the nations do if they were scared of what their s/o would do to themself in the mindset they were in?

Italy

“No! Don’t touch me!” You screamed making him jump in shock. He watched as your figure ran up the stairs into the bedroom before hearing the door slam shut. He stood there in complete shock.

He didn’t even hear what exactly happened. All he knew was when you answered the phone your smile faded. Him being the concerned and loving boyfriend he is placed a hand on your hip softly guiding you to him.

Only for you to hang up the phone and scream at him. Shaking his head he carefully walked up the stairs making sure it didn’t creak. He didn’t want to freak you out.

Knocking on the door softly he wrapped his fingers around the cold metal of the doorknob twisting it. He let out a sigh of relief when he found that it wasn’t locked.

Opening it he adjusted his eyes to the dark room.

He could see the outline of your body as you dug your shaking body further into the covers. His heart clenched painfully making him wince. Walking over to you he sat down gently by your side. Deciding to be daring he placed his hand on your blanket covered back and rubbed soft circles.

Feeling the bed creak and a hand on your back you turned to look at your boyfriend, who looked like he was on the verge of tears himself. Feeling guilty for what you said you turned over and pulled him down next to you.

He acted fast and pulled you tight against him, planting hard kisses against your face and mumbling sweet words in Italian.

Japan

He paced back and fourth in front of the bathroom door. He of course wanted nothing more than to slam it open and tell you everything was going to be okay and he wouldn’t let anything happen to you. After all, he felt as though it was his job to take care of you. And your loud sobs on the other side of the door were only bringing that out.

But you didn’t want to see him.

He tried to offer you some comfort by running his fingers though your hair only for you to push him away and spring to the bathroom.

So here he was. Pacing outside and helplessly.

As time grew on your sobs died down to light sniffles giving him some comfort. And the click of the door unlocking made him leap up from his sitting position on the floor. The door opened revealing you shaken up form.

Your hair was stuck to your forehead. Red blotches were scattered all over your face. Your bottom lip still trembled and your nose was bright red. He could practically feel the heat radiating off of your face, like it did every time you cried.

Sniffling pitifully you finally moved your eyes to look at him instead of the floor.

Carefully he held his arm out to you, only making you an offer not a demand.

Walking towards him you practically fell into his arms as he wrapped them around you. You must have been exhausted from all the crying.

Picking you up with surprising strength he made his way into the bedroom plopping you down. Running down stairs he grabbed a water bottle and some of your favorite snacks in case you got hungry.

He was going to take care of you.

Germany

Placing his arms on either side of you he listened as you talked on the phone with your mother. You were encased between him and the kitchen counter. He didn’t know exactly what was going on but he could practically feel your tension from the other room. Leaning down he placed a soft kiss at the back of your head, his mind coming up with all sorts of scenarios.

Hearing a small gasp from you he broke out of his trance and looked down only to see one of your hands covering your mouth as tears spring to your eyes.

His protective mode kicked in (not that it ever disappeared). Turning you around so you were facing him his eyes locked with yours searching for an answer. When you turned back away from him he moved his arm from the counter and onto your waist pulling your back against him as he heard you mother apologize.

“What’s wrong.” He asked, expecting you to turn around and throw yourself against him. But what you did next left his heart aching.

“Please don’t touch me right now, I need a moment.” You mumbled ducking down and leaving his embrace. Staring at the counter infront of him he wondered what the hell could have possibly happened.

Did it have something to do with him?

Impossible. He never did anything to hurt you, hell everything he does if for your well being.

Maybe someone died? That would make more sense giving it was your mother who called.

The dogs barking snapped him out of his trance. Aster ran down the steps and tugged at his pant leg trying to drag him to where you are. Leaning down he placed a hand against her head showing her that he knew what was going on. She stopped and stared at him for a few moments and walked back to where you were.

Once she got to the steps she turned around expecting to see her owner following her and once she saw he was still in the same spot she ran back over to him biting down on his pant leg again.

Looking down he admired the fact that all of his training worked.

Yes he trained the dogs to alert him if anything happened to you. Weither you were hurt, upset or scared one of them would always come and lead him to where you were. It has become quite helpful in most situations.

“I know she’s upset.” He mumbled softly finally moving away from the counter. Aster barked at her success and walked a little bit ahead of him making sure he didn’t decide to turn around.

Stopping in front of the door he opened it softly making the dogs inside stop barking. You were laying face first into the bed as Blackie sat on your right and Berlitz was sitting in between your legs waiting for his owner to give him his next command.

Clicking his tounge softly, both of the dogs jumped off the bed making you whine. Turning your head to look at the door you saw your boyfriend standing there with a concerned look. Scanning your eyes over his form you decided that being curled up in his arms were much better than laying face first on the bed. Sitting up you stared at him, before you raised your arms begging for him to cuddle you. Relief flooded his icy eyes as he laid down on the bed next to you. He didn’t even have time to lay flat as you already threw yourself on top of him, explaining what had happened.

Prussia

“Open the f*cking door Schatz or I swear I will break it down! Don’t test me!” Your boyfriend shouted from the other side.

“Can you just leave me alone for a minute please!” You shouted back leaning against the mirror of the bathroom. Your feet swung back and fourth hitting against the counter making a loud banging sound.

“1..............2............last chance.” He counted. You knew what the count down was for but you could care less and besides he wasn’t really going to break the door down.

“Fine........3.” He yelled. Before you could even react a hand came flying through the door the sound of snapped wood from the newly formed hole made you scream. Your boyfriends pale hand reached around unlocking the door from the inside as you just stared in shock. “Told you, Schatz.” He said as the door swung open. Your boyfriend walked closer to you before he picked you up and carrie should to your room. “Now wanna tell me what happened, or do I need to break something else?” He asked setting you down on the bed kneeling in front if you. You shook your head knowing he would probably break that vase Austria gave you because every time he saw it he told you how much he wanted to smash it.

Romano

Same as Italy, just with more cuss words.

Your so close, your almost touching. The being wears your face, speaking to you in an eerily grim voice. You can't understand them, suddenly collapsing. The being lifts your head and chuckles darkly, voice shattering the silence, but an even more violent buzzing follows. "I am you, and you are me, but we are different. You are weak, and the weak never survive." A final low voice echoes in the fading light of the void, signaling your last goodbye. "Only one will remain. How would the Axis & Allies react to seeing baby pictures of their s/o who had been born extremely premature? S/o in an incubator, s/o connected to lots of machines, pics where it’s clear to see how tiny s/o was compared to other babies....& what if S/O shows them the actual clothes that were handmade for s/o because they were too small to fit into normal baby clothes when they were born (my mom still has the little dresses she made me for this reason haha)

💕Awwww I was a premature baby too! I was taken out at 28 weeks. Still be small. You sound a lot smaller than me though💕

America

He couldn’t believe how tiny you were. Your mom had brought down your box of clothes and you had both decided to dig through it and he was shocked to find your little. Your little onesie fit in his entire hand. It made him a little emotional knowing how hard your first couple of months were.

England

His heart clenched a little as your mom showed him pictures of you hooked up to some big machine. Wrapping an arm around you he would pull you closer to him planting a soft kiss on your head. Knowing that something very easily could have hurt you or that you could have died made him a little nauseous.

France

The more he looked at the picture the more he saw how cute you were even with your small gummy smile. Looking back up at you he saw you laughing with your mom and giggling over some memories of your childhood. You’ve just always been perfect haven’t you?

Russia

He had stop himself from gasping when you handed him one of your old dresses. Two of his fingers could barely fit in it! The fact that this was something you wore just completely unbelievable. After the fact he would be extremely gentle with you, no matter how many times you told him you were fine and he doesn’t hurt you. You guessed it was his weird way of protecting baby you because he wasn’t actually there when you were a baby and seeing you so tiny made his protective instincts kick in.

China

He would honestly just find you adorable. How tiny and cute you were. Even though most people just saw a pink, really tiny baby he saw an adorable baby that he would give up his life to hold. He would also probably steal a few pictures.

Canada

His favorite pictures of you were the ones where you were in a cute little dress that seemed to swallow you whole. The fact that you were so tiny and are now so healthy really made him admire you.

Italy

Would probably start crying seeing the hospital picture but it’s only because of how many wires and tubes you had sticking out of you. You are his everything and even though you don’t remember it or it didn’t really hurt you, knowing that you were not entirely okay broke his heart.

Japan

He would just stare in shock at all the pictures. He would be more concerned about how you felt looking at those pictures of you. Did it freak you out? Seeing yourself so small? He was indifferent about it. As long as you were okay now he it didn’t bother him or really effect him.

Germany

He felt uncomfortable holding one of your onesies. Even though there obviously wasn’t a body in it he still felt like he would somehow break it, with his massive bear paws. And knowing you were once that small also freaked him out a little. Like Russia he would probably be really gentle with you.

Prussia

Would find it really cool! When he was little he really skinny and small too! So he thought it was awesome that you were matching.

Romano

Would cry in secret. Knowing that you could have died or that you were more at risk for something happening to you really affected him. Not that he would ever admit it though. But he felt useless in some weird way because he couldn’t help you, even though he didn’t know you when you were a bay. He knew it was stupid but he was just a puddle of emotions.
