Much like shrek, she lives in layers, specially during the cold seasons. She suffers from Permanent Cold Hands Syndrome, so she’s usually hiding them in her pockets or in B’s pockets if he’s wearing his jacket with the inside-fluff (I really don’t know how you call these in english, but I mean these ). She also has a pair of fingerless gloves one of the nuns knit for her, and wore them for some time until the nun passed away

Despite her lizard-like cold blood, she still likes winter the most, because it’s when she’s finally able to become a blanket-burrito when she’s in bed, like this

abbie + best friend

Abbie’s list of friends is short, and her list of best friends shorter, if you asked her, she’d tell you as she counts each one with her fingers: B, Near sometimes, the turtle at the farm in the back of Wammy’s she feeds in secret, that one teacher who never asks her any questions because she understands her social anxiety, and whoever created the SCP foundation website. 

More deeply though, she worries about her inability to form bonds and thinks she’s too incompetent to ever gain the ability to talk to people, because she may sound dumb, or dull, or too boring or too strange, and all those thoughts that cross your mind where you’re self conscious, and is one of the reasons she sticks to B so much: to watch him make a fool of himself in public makes her feel that maybe she can be a fool too one day and not mind so much what others think. He makes it look easy
