regulus black x reader
—author’s note: I adored writing this. Like a lot. Requested by an anon who wanted some Regulus fluff with a potter!reader. @scvrllet my dearest, gave in prompts for it and a message by @nuttytani darling inspired it. So what happens when you meet Regulus, your friend years after hogwarts? Happy reading ;)
—warning(s): mentions of food and drink. gender neutral!reader (pronouns aren’t used). reader is James's sibling but it's hardly there.

It was raining heavily. You had been out for about an hour, getting groceries for the week. Whispering a spell, making sure no one was viewing in your direction, you watched your wand transform into an umbrella and hurried away from the shop. Stalking towards your house, you tried to make sure not to let your bags get wet. You didn’t notice the man standing in your way.
“Ah, shit—” you began, not looking up far too busy to check whether or not something fell. “I’m so sorry sir, I didn’t notice where I was going—”
“Potter?”
You gazed up meeting someone you hadn’t seen in a long time.
“Regulus.”
For a minute you two just stared at each other. He had changed. The thin, gaunt boy you saw as a child was replaced by a handsome man with the same striking eyes you used to know so well. You shook yourself.
“What— what are you doing here?” you said gesturing towards the damped hair and drenched clothes. Extending your umbrella over his head you continued, “You’ll get sick.”
“Worried about me, are you Potter?” he said, raising his eyebrows. “Why don’t you think the soaked-to-the-bone look works for me?”
You chuckled.
“You didn’t answer my question,”
“Ah, I was here on ministry business but I guess I won’t be able to get it done now,” he said slowly looking around. “Was trying to find a place I could apparate safely. Too many muggles around.”
You furrowed your eyebrows noticing your surroundings again.
“Come with me,” you suggested. “My apartment is nearby and you could dry off before leaving.”
Regulus looked like he wanted to refuse but you cut him off.
“You’ll only ruin your health here, come with me— also it’s been a long while since we talked,” you pointed out and Regulus looked at you curiously. His mouth quirked upwards and he nodded. The two of you moved to the quaint three-story building, climbing up the stairs before reaching your door. You muttered in some spells before hearing a click.
“Don’t trust muggle locks?” Regulus said smugly as you rolled your eyes.
Waving your wand, you started up the fire; the warmth tickling your skin. Regulus took to drying himself off— murmuring incantations. You took to keeping the bags in the kitchen, putting up a kettle for some tea. Taking off your scarf, you sighed and sneaked a glance at Regulus who was now standing awkwardly looking around the house.
“You know you can sit, right?” you asked him. Shaking his head a little, he went to sit down in front of the fireplace. You took out some cups and an assortment of tea bags placing them in a tray along with some cookies you had bought the same day. Regulus smiled as you came in.
“Which one will you have?” you inquired as he gently took the cup from your hand. “Ah, still can’t have tea made by anyone else?”
Regulus threw you a grin.
“It’s a disastrous habit.”
The two of you sat in silence for a while, the tea pleasantly hot against your throat. Rain thrummed at the roof, the noise filling up the place.
“So—”
“How—”
You laughed. Indicating at him to continue, you raised the cup to your lips again.
“So what have you been up to?”
“I’ve been managing dad’s business. Since James joined a quidditch team, there was no one to help so I stood up. I quite like it, it gives me enough room to be creative;” you said softly. “How about you? Tell me something other than your ministry job.”
“Well I tried my hand at painting,” Regulus said after thinking for a while. “Remember how you used to tell me to try it?”
“You had the most gorgeous handwriting and the diagrams you made were always so perfect. Could you blame me?”
Regulus rolled his eyes, smiling as dimples formed on his cheeks. He looked beautiful like that. Curls of hair falling over his forehead, relaxed and carefree. You missed it.
“What?” he asked his cheeks a rosy color. You shrugged.
“Nothing, it’s good to see you after all this time,” you said, ignoring how your stomach tickled. “Remember how we promised to stay in touch?”
“Oh yes,” Regulus said, his eyes twinkling with amusement. “Right after your brother glared at me and threatened to hex me if I don’t stop talking to you.”
You snickered.
“You know he is quite the idiot,” you countered. “And my parents would’ve been proud if I brought you home.”
Regulus raised an eyebrow.
“Brought me home, huh?” he said as you bit your tongue, looking away. “Did you fancy me, love?”
You narrowed your eyes at him, trying and failing to keep a straight face. It was something about the way he called you love that made you feel like a teenager with a crush again.
“The point is,” you pressed. “The point is that it never mattered what James did or said. He couldn’t do anything to keep us from being friends.”
“Yeah, friends.” Regulus breathed. You almost missed it.
The room fell silent again and you could hear the pitter-patter of the rain. Regulus picked up a cookie before speaking again.
“Do you still like doing puzzles?” he said as your eyes lit up.
“Yes, I do,” you said, reminding yourself of all the times the two of you spent together. “I never quite got over it after all the hours we spent together. Sirius used to mutter ‘mental’ whenever he saw us working over one. Especially since we always took up the one which seemed impossible to do.”
Regulus grinned, nodding.
“I don’t think he ever had the patience for it.”
“You know;” you said pondering. “I have bought a puzzle recently. Would you like to do it with me? For old time’s sake.”
“And here I thought it’s because you enjoy my company,” he said with a smug expression. Your heartbeat erratically and you found yourself hating how he still affected you.
“So that’s a yes?” you said, overlooking his jab. Regulus clicked his tongue accepting.
You got up slowly taking out the box you had bought a few days earlier. It was a fiery phoenix, looking at you intently. Regulus rubbed his hands and sat down on the floor beside you. He gasped a little when you put the box down.
“You know, I bought the exact same one about a week ago,” he said, helping you open the pack. “It’s missing a piece.”
You furrowed your eyebrows and Regulus shrugged.
“Should I bring another one? I have—”
“No no let’s do this one, it was fun.”
Folding your legs, you sat down beside him, your arms touching. Starting from the corner the two of you put together pieces. A sense of calm eloped you. The house and everything with it seemed to blur away. Just you, him, and the puzzle remained. It was different from your memories though, neither of you were children anymore. The adoration you had for him somehow hit harder now. Your hand touched his several times and you beamed at him as the puzzle came together.
“Aha!” you exclaimed putting the last piece in its place. It looked pretty. You looked over at Regulus, who was holding a stray piece in his hand, oblivious to what you said.
“Reg? Earth to Reg?” you called out as he finally looked over at you.
“I’m pretty sure you’re my soulmate,” he said as you felt your ears heat up.
“What—”
“This,” he said, indicating the odd puzzle piece. “This is the exact piece my set was missing.”
You snorted trying to deflect how your chest was filled with butterflies.
“Oh? And that makes us soulmates?” you asked, amusedly. “Since when did you believe in soulmates even?”
Regulus had the decency to blush.
“Well didn’t you always say our lives were a big puzzle?” he started. “Right now, you have a portion of mine.”
You didn’t know whether to laugh at the cheesiness or pull him close at the very same moment.
“You’re a dork!” you said poking his head with your finger. The boy smiled but it was strained. His demeanor changed. You could practically see his walls building up. Did you say something wrong?
“Reg,” you said urgently. He hummed in response. “Was that soulmate thing a joke or you meant it? Even if a little?”
Regulus avoided your eyes.
“Does it matter?”
“Yes, yes it does.”
“Yeah well then I like you,” he said, looking down. “Always have. But I know you don’t and…”
You put a finger to his lips, stopping him.
“I do,” you said as his stormy grey eyes landed on your own. He cradled your cheek, leaning in tentatively, glancing at your lips. You heaved a sigh as his mouth finally met yours. Grabbing his collar, you kissed him softly. When you pulled back, you had a smile on your face.
“Now that wasn’t how I was expecting the day to go at all,” you commented, delighted. Regulus held your hand kissing the knuckles.
“We’re going to have more of these puzzle dates, aren’t we, love?” he said as you rested your head against his shoulder, interlinking your fingers with his.
“We are.”

Can we get some Amai Mask x reader? Maybe where he gets caught kissing/making out with his gf/so by some sasaengs? Thank you!
Hey hey anon! Guess who finally finished your request~ That’s right, me! I have to say, I had no idea what sasaengs were at first and looking them up, hoo boy. Those are some crazy, crazy people. But, given the context, it just made this so much more fun to write! I mean this really allowed me to let loose on my more angsty side, but don’t worry, it’s all fluff in the end. Seriously, this was a fun request, thank you so much for it! Enjoy our righteous hero, anon~!

Amai Mask x Reader “To Love a Celebrity”
It wasn’t easy dating one of the most famous celebrities out there.
It meant being away from him, having to share him with the rest of the world and constantly having to watch your back. The first few months into your relationship with Amai, it was fine. Both of you went out in disguises, made sure neither of you were being followed when one came to the other’s house and somehow managed to avoid the media and all of its nosiness. While Amai wanted to show you off and wanted to be proud of the relationship he had, he couldn’t. It risked your safety and comfort and he wasn’t about to let that happen.
But then came the incident.
You had rushed over to Amai’s house as soon as he sent the text that he was home from his concert.
He opened the door with a smile and you quickly hugged him. Chuckling, he returned the embrace. “You missed me, huh?”
“Of course I did! I haven’t seen you all week!” You exclaimed, squeezing him tighter.
The two of you stayed like that for a moment, just enjoying each other’s presence, before Amai moved to close the door behind you. “Well, I can fill you in since you missed all the action.” Leading you over to his dining room, he pulled out one of the chairs.
Giggling, you sat down. “My my, such a gentleman.”
“Anything to please my lady.” He remarked, taking your hand and kissing it before turning away. In an effort to make up for all the time he had spent away, he made your favorite dish for dinner and the two of you talked about anything and everything that happened during your week and laughing at jokes the other made.
Eventually, the conversation steered it’s way back to his work. “You’re working on a new movie too, right? What’s it about?” You asked, quirking an eyebrow when Amai shot you a smirk.
He got up from his place at the table and went digging into one of his bags. “Well, I could tell you, or I could show you since we officially finished editing today. It’s not out to the public yet, but I know you’ll keep my secret,” he mused. Once he had found what he was looking for, he knelt down in front of his TV and popped in the small disc. You, on the other hand, were getting yourself settled onto Amai’s very comfortable couch with a cocoon of blankets already surrounding you. Laughing lightly, he poked your forehead. “Comfortable, my little caterpillar?”
“Not quite,” you answered. Extending your arms out, you cracked the cocoon open enough for Amai to slip in next to you. “Now I’m comfortable.” Sighing happily, you turned your attention to the screen.
The movie was spectacular, but you didn’t expect anything less of your boyfriend. He always managed to get assigned to the best projects and the way he managed to really bring it all to life with his acting just made it all the more breathtaking. Excitedly, you shifted closer to him to tell him that with a bright grin, tilting your head when he didn’t answer you. “Amai, are you okay?” You asked with a concerned frown on your face.
He seemed to snap out of his trance when you spoke. Tucking a stray hair back into place for you, he smiled. “Sorry, you were just so cute it stunned me for a bit.” His answer surprised you and you felt your face grow hot.  It was always embarrassing when he complimented you out of the blue like that.
You sat up and shook your head, already moving to deny his words. “Says the one who’s a literal model.” The effectiveness of your remark was short lived as Amai suddenly pulled you into his lap.
“Don’t be so hard on yourself. You are every bit as beautiful a model as I am. I’m just lucky that I’m the only one allowed to see the show.” He grinned, a deep passion in his golden eyes as he looked at you.
The warmth of your cheeks deepened before you leaned up and pressed your lips to his. The kiss was slow and sensual with Amai’s arms slipping down your back lower and lower until they rested on your hips. Once there, he broke from your lips to kiss down along your neck when there was a flash of light. It jolted your senses and, out of the daze of your makeout, turned your gaze to where the light came from. To your horror, the curtains to Amai’s house were not closed and through the window, you could see the figure of someone with their phone.
Immediately, you jumped to your feet and cursed as the figure began running off. They were already gone by the time you had opened the door to chase them. You sat back down on the couch, rubbing your hands together nervously. Your blood felt cold as ice, not even the comforting touch of Amai’s arms was enough to warm you. “We were so careful, I don’t understand…” You mumbled to yourself, going through everything in your head. There was nothing you could have done differently.
“Hey, hey, look at me,” He prompted. “It’s going to be okay. We’ll get through this, and we’re going to find whoever took that picture, alright?” His tone was soft and reassuring, you found yourself nodding along. Slowly, you began getting a grip on yourself. Whatever happened, you both would make it through.
Fortunately, you did. Though it was far from easy.
The morning after, your face was covered in every front page of a celebrity magazine and there was article after article of you, ‘Amai’s Makeout Partner.’ It was embarrassing going to work for the following days, you could feel all of your coworker’s eyes on you, and you swore you could hear laughter every time you turned your back. But, after a week, the main press died down when they weren’t getting anywhere with their story.
Just when you thought the worst of it was over, things got worse. Hundreds of texts came pouring through your phone, each with a nastier message than the last.
Making out like that? What a whore.
You’re nothing more than a gold digging slut.
You’re not worth Amai’s time, why don’t you just kill yourself?
Leaving all of social media was the only thing you could do to stop the messages. However, it did not stop the vandalism of your house. It was happening so often you barely had the energy to go out and clean it off anymore.
The final straw came when you called Amai in the middle of the night after someone shattered your window with a brick. “I’m so scared, I’m not even sure if I should go outside anymore. The note on the brick says the next one’s going through my head!” Sobbing, your free hand clutched at your torso to try and stop your body from trembling.
You could hear how pained he sounded even through the phone. “It’s going to be okay, I promise. I’m coming over, we’re getting you out of that place right now. Remember that secret penthouse I just bought? It shouldn’t have been mentioned to the media yet, you’ll live there for as long as it’s needed. Are you okay with that?” Shakily, you agreed with the plan as you began heading towards your room. “Good, I’ll be there in a few minutes. Just breathe, you’re going to get through this. I love you,” He told you.
“I love you too, Amai. Please get here as fast as you can.” You pleaded before saying your goodbyes and getting your things packed. Fiddling with the hem of your shirt, you glanced from out your front window, looking for any sign of movement. Then, a black car rolled up and you sighed in relief. Amai was finally here.
Cautiously, you opened the door and began making your way to the car when you heard a crack and felt liquid seeping down your shirt.
Someone had pelted an egg at you. They were about to chuck another one, but Amai was faster. He was already out of the car and crushing their wrist so hard they jolted at the sudden pain.
The hood the figure was wearing fell down to reveal a woman in her early twenties whimpering in pain. “Oh my god, Amai Mask is holding my wrist!” The shock seemed to have worn off on the woman as she began squealing like a teenager with a crush.
“And I’ll be breaking it if you don’t explain yourself this instant.” Amai growled, tightening his grip as the woman gasped in pain.
“Okay, okay! Listen, I’m just trying to look out for you. You’re spending way too much time on her and that time is wasted. I mean seriously, she’s nothing, I bet she’s not even a real fan of you like I am. You hardly pay any attention to your fans anymore and it’s all because of her!” She exclaimed, glaring holes into you.
You stood in confusion. All this hate and threats, were all because you were supposedly taking Amai’s attention away from him? You could barely believe what you were hearing. However, just as the anger built up in you, it quickly left as Amai took the woman and slammed her into a nearby wall.
You had never seen him so angry before in your life, but it wasn’t a brash, hot anger. It was calculated, cold and far more terrifying. He walked towards where she fell with rigid steps and picked her up by her hood. “You think you can threaten her, stalk her, and vandalise her home and herself because you’re not getting enough attention? What a pathetic excuse to become a criminal. You are the lowest of low.” He hissed, slamming her face in the wall which made you jump.
Quickly, you dashed over to him and grabbed him by the arm. “Amai stop, please! You’re going to kill her!” You exclaimed, looking over at the woman to see if she was even still alive. Her chest was rising up and down and you sighed in relief.
Meanwhile, Amai scoffed at your words. “And? I’m doing the world a favor getting rid of such a monster. She is in no way justified for her actions and I will see to it that she never commit such acts again.” His eyes were so cold as he spoke, it sent a shiver down your spine.
“Please, I know you Amai. Sure, I’m angry at her too, her and everyone else have been tormenting me, but she doesn’t deserve to die because of it! She may be a criminal, but she’s still a citizen, let the law take care of her.” You begged, tightening your grip on his arm and trying to get him to look at you.
Eventually, he did and he saw the fright in your eyes. His frown never let up but his gaze did become softer and he sighed. “You’re right, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to scare you.” Still, he lifted the woman up and she smiled as much as she could as she stared at him. “You disgust me. If you ever do this to my girlfriend again I will be taking each and every one of you to court and I will ensure that absolutely none of you will ever see my face or hers ever again. So go and tell your little group to never even look at my girlfriend again. Do you understand?” She seemed to have phased out and he shook her lightly, repeating his words.
When he got a nod, he let her go and she ran off into the night. Then, he held his hand out to you. “Just in case she doesn’t keep her word, I’m taking you to the penthouse anyway. Let me get your bags.” He said, already making his way towards them.
It wasn’t long before you both got into the car and he was helping you unpack at your new home. He kissed you goodnight, but just as he turned to leave, you caught him by the sleeve. “Could you stay with me tonight? After everything that just happened I really don’t want you to leave…” You trailed off as you looked towards the ground.
Amai only smiled at you as he picked you up in his arms. “But of course, anything for my lady.”

Ok a more specific prompt, coffee shop au with Malec and claia 😌
this is nowhere near specific and you damn well know it, anon. i appreciate u trying to find an excuse to throw coffee shop aus everywhere, tho. keep doing the lord's work even if i will inevitably twist the prompt
Magnus works at a small, local coffee shop as a barista. It's not exactly his #1 job choice, but it pays better than big chain coffee shops and he needs that to pay rent now that he officially left his abusive father's home for good. Also, he is kind of a coffee enthusiast and the owner, Ragnor, lets him go wild with making up new drinks and ingredients, as long as he still does his job.
All in all it's a good job and he considers the old fart and the other barista, maia, to be like family. Ragnor frequently gives them coffee and Maia constantly teases him about being a "coffee scientist" whenever she catches him thoughtfully drinking from a cup and scribbling notes on his notepad, like some ancient being
His recipes are good, though, and he knows exactly where to get the best coffee beans for the best price. So their drinks are good, affordable, and can please everyone from the traditional "black coffee no sugar" exec to the teenager who wants more of a milkshake than actual coffee
As a result, the shop thrives, gets more popular, and gets more clients. So Ragnor decides to hire a new barista to help. Because he's secretly a sweetheart, he ends up hiring this broke college kid who just moved into town to get away from his kinda toxic family and has nowhere to go - and also doesnt have a single ounce of experience as a barista
It's not surprising; both Magnus and Maia share similar stories, with some abusive exes to spice up the mix, not to mention racism, biphobia, and, in Magnus case, male behavior standarts keeping most opportunities closed for them. So they're cool with that. Even if it means Magnus will have to be the one to teach him, because 1- Ragnor is a dick and assigned him to be Alec's special "tutor" as retribution for Magnus calling him "an old, heart of butter bastard"; 2- he's the one who's best qualified to teach him since he knows a lot about coffee and coffee making anyway; 3- Maia has no patience
Quick detour just to say that i love the maia/magnus brotp opportunities this gives. While Magnus is more of a coffee scientist as she puts it, Maia has an almost instictive understanding of drink making. Where Magnus is soft, she's fierce, and they make one hell of a team and are good at balancing one another. They bond over their experiences with abuse; while Magnus' has made him afraid to put his foot down and say what he wants and prioritize himself, Maia's has made her particularly wary of people and even less willing to take anyone's bullshit, and both of these coping mechanisms have their own effects on their psyche, and they're able to talk openly to each other about it. Maia is kind of protective of Magnus and vice-versa, though the way they protect each other is very different. They have an easy companionship and bantering dynamic that's easygoing and cute, theyre both passionate about their interests (Maia loves marine biology and even if Magnus doesnt know much about it he loves listening to her talk about it) and just generally have that kind of relationship where just smiling at each other makes a tough day seem lighter. Also Magnus loves making Maia laugh. Maia blatantly refuses to laugh at any of his self-deprecating jokes, tho, which has considerably diminished the amount of times he makes them
Anyway Alec comes in for his first day and Magnus is like [REDACTED] because shit this man is cute. Maia notices immediately and from then on the teasing doesn't stop
He's quick to recover, tho, and suddenly he's all smooth again (Maia says he's perfected his customer service persona to horror movie levels), quick to introduce himself and Maia to Alec and explain that he'll be training Alec for the next few weeks or so. He gives him a tour of the shop, explains the basics, and immediately launches into his slightly extra More Serious Than Strictly Necessary course on the makings and workings of coffee, from bean selection to ideal temperature and the chemistry behind the cooking.
This absolute dork even had a small table with some coffee made from different kinds of beans so Alec could taste them and learn the difference and Engage with the profession or some shit
Maia just rolls her eyes, thankful that she had prior experience before getting this job and didnt have to go through this
The first thing he learns about Alec: Alec doesn't like coffee. This is not a setback. Many people dont like coffee, but that's because they're used to regular powdered coffee instead of making it from the bean. Because the beans in powdered coffee arent previously selected, they are roasted harder than they should, so any beans that might have gone bad wont spoil the taste or make you sick. As a result, the coffee is way too bitter and doesn't have a discernible taste. He explains all of this enthusiastically to a slightly overwhelmed Alec, and gets on to making him try the samples so he can feel the difference.
Here's the second thing he learns about Alec: Alec doesn't feel the difference
Despair. Horror. Offense.
Alec even kind of chuckles and goes "sorry" at the face he makes, and a not-pouting Magnus goes on with the planned explanation on bean selection
Third thing he learns about Alec: he's a quick study. Everything he lacks in sensibility to the amazing world of bean juice, he makes up for in his careful attentiveness to the instructions. He is also a strict recipe-follower and makes sure he always uses the exact amounts required. He's an absolute perfectionist. He listens to Magnus' explanations on how to know if the taste is right, to look for color and texture of the mix. Magnus tries his simple coffees and only needs a few corrections to send him on the right path
The first time Alec makes him something more complicated to try (per his request) Magnus wants to die
It's so good
Scratch that, it's perfect
This soulless motherfucker doesn't even like coffee and this is the single best version of whatever crazy frapuccino shit they're making magnus has ever tried
He kind of bursts from the kitchen (?) all like MAIA YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS just in time to interrupt her chatting with this redhead new customer with shiny eyes. Maia is leaning all the way across the counter. What is this
Maia agrees that it's very good but again he's not as passionate about coffee and Magnus just interrupted what would have been a really smooth number-giving move so she's not feeling all that generous
Alec just laughs at that. His eyes are shining with amusement and he's very, very pleased that Magnus likes his stuff
It's not a big secret, really; mixing drinks is kind of like patisserie in the sense that the measures need to be exact to achieve the best taste and texture. He follows the recipe to a fault, it turns out good. That's why he's better at the more complicated, instagram-y drinks than the simple coffee types
Alec "graduates" his training pretty soon after that and Ragnor is very pleased
He gets along well with both Magnus and Maia, even if he's more quiet and sometimes catches himself just laughing at the two of them interact; their friendship is something else. But he also gets to hear a "shut up" from Maia after not saying absolutely anything when the redhead walks in again the very next day
The redhead always comes in a little late in the morning, so its always slow. As a result, they get to pretend to be minding their own business as they hear the two of them chat and oof is the romantic tension between them something. Maia glares at them once the girl - Clary - leaves every time, but it doesn't stop them
Soon Maia is calling them "no-good gossiping grandmas" because of the way Magnus and Alec will go to the back and pretend to be making something while they keep a whispered running commentary on what the girls are talking about. This quickly turns into some sort of race to see who can make the other break and laugh out loud. Neither of them ever do (they are trying to be discreet and Maia would kill them) but oftentimes they need to cover their mouths with their hands and playfully slap each other for the teasing
Clary doesn't even realize she's the reason; she kind of just thinks they are constantly flirting on the back and briefly wonders how they havent been fired when all they do is whisper and make eyes at each other
Not that she has any room to talk when she's late to work everyday because she keeps cracking jokes with the cute curly haired barista with the most beautiful lopsided smile who always makes her laugh and tells her about her day while she drinks her coffee. She's lucky her work starts at 10 so she can go in a little later and doesnt have to be there during rush hours, but still
She doesnt even like coffee, she walked in one day cuz she was really tired and then just kept coming in the hopes that the barista would make a move on her (shes not gonna do it herself, at least not in her workplace. She doesn't want to make her uncomfortable and it's still unclear whether the girl is flirting or if shes just really nice)
At some point she and Maia even start sharing knowing looks to Alec and Magnus and laughing at them. They don't even notice, because their designated Making Fun Of Maia time turned into just cracking jokes at each other way too quickly. They don't even remember there are other people there
Maia does finally ask clary out eventually. She wasn't exactly nervous about doing it, it's more that she enjoyed their little routine. But enough is enough, and when their routine starts involving Clary giving her a quick kiss before placing her order, well, it just makes it better
Magnus and Alec coo every time
Eventually Maia snaps all like "why are you guys the one poking fun at me when im the one who made a move instead of being a coward"
Magnus is all like "Whatever could she possibly mean??"
It dawns on him when hes closing up the next day and Alec has already left. He has a crush on Alec. Oh god. Oh fuck
Maia helpfully says "idiot" and leaves
Some Magnus being very nervous and overthinking his relationship with Alec who's all like ???????? about this
Alec goes to his sister about his new crush who suddenly started acting weird and izzy is all like "stop trying to guess what he's thinking because you're terrible at this. Just tell them how you feel" and Alec is like okay
He asks Magnus out
Everyone is happy and gay idk the end
✨ feel free to use this and any other one of my posts as a prompt ✨

I don’t care how cheesy scenarios like that is, but I absolutely fucking love when there would be a scene when Character A would be distant with everyone else who were having fun and such, and Character B notices A wasn’t around and decided to hang out with them before they just have this moment together that is a mixture of silliness and seriousness, but even if the characters laughs and pokes on each other, there is still something behind that particular part that just makes your chest get that feeling of butterflies fluttering regardless.
“Love you, man.” Awe
Cops…. Uh oh.
Oh God, I hate when a music that’s like funky switches over with a scary and mystery vibe to it, I don’t trust it
I also don’t trust when there are shots taken behind the cop’s back when he approaches by the cabin’s door, n o p e
“Steve Steven” Was that meant to be a dad joke @ Officer

MY OVERALL THOUGHTS ON THE WOODS:
It’s indeed a good short film, I’ll tell ya that! Though because the film was done in 23 minutes, I assume due to time constraints with the budgets and such, I won’t touch too much upon the main and sub plots and characters, as making connections with the characters or not. I personally feel like with the Woods being filmed for only 23 minutes, one shouldn’t be too harsh on how the plotline wouldn’t make a lot of sense as it was needed to be fleshed out more or how the characters are bland, something along the line.
The acting was wonderful, though kudos to Mimi and James for making the certain scenes more emotional than it should’ve asdasdfasf ( which isn’t much of a surprise because James’ known to do acting, though I’m not too familiar with Mimi so I don’t know about her, but despite the shoutouts, everyone did awesome regardless ).
Makeups are mmmm 👌👌👌 — also that demon though, omg, I’m just grateful its’ appearance design didn’t give me any nightmares when I went back to sleep after watching the film, but I really like the design to it.
They did a pretty good job on making the scenes not being too short or long.
Good music choices. Definitely fits along with where the scenes goes.
I don’t really hold a lot of expectations from plotlines of the films ( an hour/two hour or less ) that holds horror elements to it since it’s pretty predictable what would happen ( also the Woods sort of gives me that Until Dawn vibe, oooo ), BUT when Steven, James and Mimi were escaping from the woods, it still got me tensed anyway as bOI where the Hell was that fucking demon and I don’t want Steven, James and/or Mimi to die as well, y’know???? Also the ending????????? I seriously didn’t expect that. At all.
Do I even need to comment on the visuals/choreography? God, does it deserve an award for having an amazing choreography.
I’ll most likely add more into this post as I probably forget a bunch, but final thoughts??? I’m extremely proud of the Pine Crew. Really, I personally don’t care that much of how good the film was done as in the plotlines, characters, pacing, etc, and all of that professional stuff. I just love how they’re experiencing something different and new than what they usually do in their channel, and the fact they filmed all of this with such passion and love into it for three days only and it’s their first film is phenomenal. I extremely hope they’ll be able to do a next film, maybe even for Christmas, but!!! Despite the cliche plots and bland characters, the Woods is a good film that was created with a lovely amount of enthusiasm and effort into it nevertheless, and I love it so much. It definitely made this year’s October more meaningful to me.
